Excellent and enjoyable experience (buying a car is nerve wracking, stressful and scary). Looking forward to a continued relationship (maintenance, etc). Managerial, Sales, financial and insurance reps were very informative and helpful. One of my better car buying experience.

Have a 2013 Mazda 3. I ve always had a great experience with the service department. Very friendly people. The only thing I had a negative experience was with the insurance person when I purchased the car. He seemed annoyed that I didn t want to purchase it.
Quality vehicle. Helpful sales people. Mazda rules the roads as seen every day. No fakeness here. This is the car to buy. Nice dealership, Freeway Mazda has very nice showroom as well.
Had a great experience purchasing a vehicle from Tracey. She was very professional and patient with my questions. She went over what work was completed for the vehicle and made sure all my concerns were addressed. Never felt pressured at all, unlike many other dealerships. Recommend buying a vehicle from Tracey!
Well I had a appointment on 2019 08 29 at 2:30 to find out that it was booked on Friday 2019 08 30. That got figured out. My appointment was for a software update my car its a 2014 CX5 to find out that my car doesn't need updated. I know for a fact that survice has to go through workshops to better educate themselves on the products and new models. So my question is why would someone tell me I need a update when my car doesn't need one. It's more than a piss off to arrange time off work make time for this to find out miscommunication on the appointment and that no work needs to be done. It could have been all avoided by telling me that my car doesn't need this update over a phone call that I did earlier this month. End result: It proves to me that the dealer survice doesn't comunicate with other members of the office, and puts the final nail in the coffin that the dealer is only good to purchase a car and that's it. I will never go to you or any dealer for that matter to get survice done I never have and I have stood by this for years with other dealers. Put yourself in my shoes one day you will be needing something fixed and then you will know. It takes years to earn a reputation and takes seconds to destroy it.
Always a wonderful experience visiting here :) Eric Tham (BM), Eddie Kong (Service Mgr), Darren, and Bryan are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have had the pleasure of purchasing and servicing my vehicle at Freeway Mazda. Will definitely come back for my next service!
for service department specifically, so right on! never experienced such precise tire pressures and oil level else where. detail oriented, professionalism and friendliness the both.
Purchased a pre-owned Mazda 3 from here. Had a great experience, everything went very smoothly, and I love my new vehicle. The staff was helpful and professional, Definitely recommend.
I've been taking my cars here since 2015. I baby my vehicles. I was skeptical to take it to a big dealership due to high costs. I couldn't have been more wrong.
They have always fixed anything that wasn't up to my satisfaction. They've gone above and beyond countless times to make things work for my family. It has always been low stress and lots of laughs.
We just sold my car (2012 Speed3), and we felt as if we were leaving a part of our family behind. It was sad for us, but we look forward to buying another Mazda one day (if they make another speed3) and hope to buy from this exact dealer purely because they've put the work and effort to show us that we matter.
Cheers!! We love you guys!! May God bless this dealership and all the people within it. Take care.
The service was good and quick. I had an appointment on February 12, 2021 due to 4 vehicle recalls. They fixed my 2 recalls asap as they has in stock and told me they would order the other 2 recalls and phone me when they are in but its been 2 months and I guess the parts are not in yet or there was a communication misunderstanding? Idk
Hahahha this place was a joke. Not only did the sales guy Tyler not know a single thing about the vehicle I was inquiring about but when my boyfriend asked a simple question Tyler then replied with a very sarcastic tone ready the owners manuel he was quite rude and that s not how I expected to be treated when I walked in there. Once we couldn t come to a deal my boyfriend and I turned around to leave and he crumpled the deal paper (or whatever it is) up like a five year old. Won t be back to this dealership.
Unlike some other dealerships, the Freeway Mazda service team has never pushed me for any early or non-required services. They also respond to their emails quite promptly.
In addition, in my last appointment their technician actually filmed a short video, without my request, showing me the brake pads and other various components of my vehicle while providing a brief explanation of the overall vehicle condition. I thought that was very impressive.
The price for the 8k maintenance can actually be cheaper at other non-dealership shops. The service fronk desk team members also seem to be well trained and are able to patiently answer all of my questions to my satisfaction.
Overall, I am very glad I started coming to Freeway Mazda for my maintenance needs, and I hope they will continue to keep up with their current practices and standards!
Am so happy to have purchased my Mazda 3 through Freeway Mazda in Guildford - Jake Choi was referred to me through someone else online and I am so glad of the referral. He was excellent - knowledgeable, checked and double checked for what I was looking for, and respectful of me and my time. He was prompt in responding fully to my questions and inquiries over the phone and in person, helped me stay within my budget and was not pushy at all. Eric Tham followed up with me as well and he was also very helpful. I felt this was a very honest and down-to-earth dealership and the experience was very positive for me.
First time I call this car dealer, and I talk to one of there salesman, His Name is Jake, he help and answer my question about getting a car. I absolutely like the way he interact to his costumer, People who work on that dealer car are all nice. Jake is so helpful to find us the the right car for my girl. We love the car I highly recommended him to any future driver, and to my friend who are buying car. Your Boss is one of a Lucky guy having to work under his belt!!!! No complain at all.
I asked Freeway Mazda for this link to share an excellent customer service story My CX5 was in for service. The technician accidentally damaged a hub cap on my winter wheels. He let the service manager know. The dealership ordered me a complete new set of hubcaps. I might not have noticed it was a small crack in the plastic. This Mazda dealership makes you feel they actually care about their customers. This is my third purchase from Freeway Mazda and I will purchase my next new car from them. Thank you Freeway Mazda
I can say without hesitation the service I recieve here is some of the best I have ever had. Everyone is professional and courteous beyond my expectations. I always feel valued, respected and well taken care of. I will support this establishment and always purchase Mazda if this is the long term Service and experience I recieve. Thank you for caring!!!
A huge shout out to the staff (especially Noah) at Freeway for having exceeded expectations and treating us well even though we purchased our vehicle at a different dealership. Freeway never made us feel unwelcome or uncomfortable and recently supported us with a claim when the dealership at which we purchased our vehicle made ZERO effort to help us. This is how you win customers from your competitors! We also recently made an online inquiry about protection for the gear shift panel and Chris went out of his way to find out options for me. We will be returning to this dealership for any future work on our car.
Horrible service from sales. Went in to buy a suv which was on there lot for more then 90days. Not a big deal. Deal went through. I asked the sales guy before pickup if he can make sure the fluids are all topped up and battery check done since the vehicle barely started when we took it for a test drive. Long story short he said since they are losing on this deal they can t do much more and I can t expect a new car. Which the new car thing I did agree on as I was buying it with a few faults. We exchanged a few more texts and deal was cancelled by me as I could not believe the service I was given. All I wanted was to make sure after spending over 20k I did not have to take it home and fill up any of the fluids. Simply practice which all dealers do but not this one.
EDIT: Replying to your response, in no way did I imply or even mention to change the fluids. All I DID say (which I can prove via messages) is to check and top up the fluids If needed since the car had been sitting there since January, and last inspected at that time. The minor faults that you have mentioned, I agreed to all the above in the agreement. This had nothing to do with the faults the car had. It was merely the fact that your dealership did not want to provide the courtesy of my ease of mind for this purchase.
Originally bought my 2018 Mazda3 because I liked the product after driving a rental car. To my delight, the buying experience was so smooth: accommodating salesman(A Riess), easy financing, and a new employee (Noah) in Service Department who really cares about the professional standard of his job. The video summary of my last oil change service was innovative and informative. .
One victoria day long weekend, my gf and I spontaneously drove to Freeway Mazda from Vancouver to look at a used Miata I saw listed on autotrader.ca The car was parked right at the front entrance greeting our arrival. Jake Choi walked over and we were already checking the car out, opening the hood, adjusting the seats, etc. After a quick chat and some admin work, we were out test driving the little convertible. We came back the next day with a bank draft and I was the proud new owner. The whole purchase and negotiation process was painless. The staff at Freeway were knowledgeable and friendly. Special props goes our salesman Jake Choi as he was very helpful and not pushy. He gave us room and made it seem like talking to a friend. Will definitely buy from Jake and Freeway again. Worth the drive from Vancouver.
What a joke. This place bluntly rejected my service request. I moved to Surrey recently with my Mazda, and it was due for maintenance. I called this dealership services department and asked to schedule a maintenance. The operator downright refused my request and said they will not do my maintenance because I don t have out-of-province inspection. I said you are asking an out-of-province inspection as a prerequisite to get a maintenance service, it doesn t make sense to me . Immediately he questioned me why?
Excuse me?! That s how you reply to and laugh at your costumers? I tried to explain to him: what if I were on a road trip, and my car happen to break down in Surrey, and in that case I could t get services from your Mazda service department? He was mumbling to make up an excuse on how different it is for getting a service during a road trip, and how I am not entitled to get a service because I moved here and not on a road trip. A CAR IS JUST A CAR lol. How could on a road trip or not determine whether I am entitled to get a car maintenance? LMAO! In the end he was unable to legitimately articulate on his argument. Overall his attitude was uncooperative and unreasonable. I haven t dealt with such ridiculous and discriminative costumer service in many years, and I give up.
Shortly after, I called another Mazda dealership in Vancouver area, and got scheduled for maintenance within merely a few minutes, and got the maintenance done in just 2 days, throughout without being questioned about the out-of-province inspection at all!
I couldn t use this dealership s service so I am not sure what they are good at, but surely they are good at arguing with and offending a customer, rejecting my service request, and ended up not getting my business at all.
Every time I go to Freeway Mazda I am impressed with the professionalism and care for their customers. They keep you up to date via video on what is happening with your car. Happy to give them a 5 star rating.
I have been going to Freeway Mazda for 13 years. I have been really happy going there to service my vehicle, but it s really frustrating that the price they tell you isn t actually what it will cost for your service. Expect at least $100+ added in silly things like tools & supplies required. How is that stuff not covered in the $250 I was quoted for the work?! Also, terrible cleaning service. My windows needed to be cleaned before leaving they were so cloudy and poorly taken care of. The vacuum & wash service isn t performed very well. Scratches & wipe marks everywhere. The people are great here but the service needs some help.
I had a fantastic experience in Freeway Mazda. I was actually referred to Jake Choi by his friend The this i liked from him is,he is very professional, patient, and kind and also he thinks for the best of customer s interests which i really like unlike from the past experience i have had before with other sales executive and dealership. He is very considerate and not pushy. I will definitely recommend him to my other friends. Thanks Jake for your patience, I am hoping to have a good business with you sometime.
Tommy & Jake are a perfect team. The enthusiasm they showed during the entire process made us feel totally at home. Tommy & Jake more focused on helping us choose a car had everything that we were looking for & took care of our requirements. That was really commendable and helped us make the decision real quick. Also a shout out to Eric who went over the documentation & warranty meticulously and made suggestions which made us feel confident about our purchase. Overall a top notch team working in tandem. Thank you Tommy, Jake & Eric!
Brought my Mazda 3 2015 in yesterday for an appointment as my center display is not working anymore. The day before I had explained the issue over the phone I was told it was one of two things. Either needed to be rebooted for $69.99 or needed a part replaced which would be covered under warranty. I asked for clarification that the only money I would be spending would be $69.99 and was told yes. So I went in and was instead told that I needed to pay $139.99 just to look at my car and that no my car was not covered under warranty because it was a 2015. But they knew the year of my car when I phoned and still told me it would be covered under warranty. Then I am told that I need a part replaced and this will cost me $1500. I was lied to and felt completely scammed by Mazda. Then my mom, who has a Mazda 3 2016, called and was told this problem was a common defect in the 2015 and 2016 models and can expect to also pay this $1500. Customer service offered no help. So clearly Mazda does not care about you or the integrity of their cars, they just want to scam you for whatever money they can get out of you. My family has bought numerous Mazdas but will never buy one again and do not recommend anyone to ever buy a Mazda.
Great service! In contact by text and phone while car being assessed and serviced. I had been going to the Langley dealer since I purchased my car but they couldn't diagnose my starting issue the last two services. Freeway diagnosed and fixed the issue and now my 10 year old year old vehicle feels almost like its brand new. Very happy with the service department.
Freeway Mazda and their team have amazing customer service! They went above and beyond to help me get into the perfect vehicle over the course of a few months! They care about their clients and it shows. Very professional and quick to respond and gather details! Thank you Freeway Mazda! Eric & Tracy you are amazing!!
We could not be happier with our purchase and the service at Freeway Mazda. We worked with Arnie and he was great. He answered all of our questions whether we contacted him via phone or in person. He made the experience seamless and easy as possible. No pressure and very honest with us. Thank you, Arnie!
Staff was helpful in keeping my informed about the maintenance as it's being done. An inspection report in a form of a video is also provided which is a nice touch. The waiting area is also well sanitized.
Tommy and Peter at FeeewayMazda made my purchase and whole experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend them, they re friendly and professional.
I have had some issues in the past with this place, but they seem to be behind them. I decided to go back as my concern was less then the unwillingness to drive to a dealer far away and since the car is on warranty, all good.
Really like the sales people, friendly, not a ton of pressures. Service guys are all very nice as well, and the new video walkthrough of the service is very
Back to a mostly would recommend, just watch the details, and double check the service you are getting.
The salesperson, Alison linden was a very nice woman. Her speech is understandable. As a person i found her very accommodating, Caring as she patiently listens to the costumers Need and accordingly tries her best so that the costumers leaves with smile.
Every time I m here it takes over an hour and half for an oil change. I can do it faster myself... but because it s free here, and only here at this dealership, I keep coming back. It s absurd it takes professionals this long for an oil change.
I went to the dealership to get a second key cut for my Mazda, Tyler a salesman helped me get the key cut. His service even though I was not buying a car was outstanding. Thanks Tyler. When I am looking for a new car I will definitely come back to see you.
Freeway Mazda Service Ambassadors and Department are truly wonderful. Thank you Noah and Jan for making sure everything in my Mazda 3 was tip top including the Bluetooth issue. I also would like to thank the cleaning and detail staff for assuring everything in my car was sanitized. In light of the pandemic this is a huge reassurance. Thanks again. Sincerely, Rhonda Sterritt.
Purchased a vehicle from freeway Mazda and vehicle was having issues, Mazda fixed the issues and went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
This was the first dealer I went to for a car. Alison Linden introduced me to my first car who I fell in love with right away. She guided me every step of the way and helped me soo much that none of the other dealers would have done that. She exceeded my expectation in terms of customer service at Freeway Mazda. Peter Herbert is an amazing manager for Freeway Mazda. He is really considerate towards everyone. There was an incident where I nodded at him while he was on his chair. He ran towards me and asked if I required any help. Where do you ever see such hospitality?? Everyone at Freeway Mazda deserves a big big raise for such an awesome experience. Especially Alison, who helped me pick my car and made sure it was perfect on arrival for pick up. Everyone who works at this location knows how to keep a customer happy and make you feel like a part of their family. I could not be happier after my purchase of the Mazda 3 sedan GS trim. I just want to say to everyone who works at this Freeway Mazda location, "THANK YOU !" . I will recommend everyone to visit this location at least once, I promise, you will never want to go anywhere else.
Great customer service, very helpful. They send updates via text message and mechanics have even included short videos to show me what's going on with my car.
The other day I picked up our new CX 5. I want to say I'm beyond happy with our purchase and excited to learn all the great features it has. I've had my mazda 3 for too many years and needed an upgrade and freeway is just just place to go for us. Thank you to Javid Iqbal for all your patience and your time. Such a friendly man and took the time to explain everything on my pick up. I will definitely recommend you. Thank you mazda for everything
Had a pleasant experience with this dealership. Was able to get the car of my dreams with the least bit of hassle. Jake and Eric were a big help and made the process as smooth as can be.
Overpriced unnecessary maintenance. They will milk you for every dollar. Seriously. DO NOT get your maintenance done here!! Quoted me one price, charged me another.
Believe me, you re better off getting your maintenance done elsewhere for a better price.
Good service, people at the counter are always very nice and the works are done efficiently as far as my experience goes.
Weekend service reservations are usually fully booked for the next 2 weeks so if you decide to do it here, plan ahead and book early. Complimentary car wash is available with the service but the job is a bit sloppy.
Good location, just a block away from guildford towncenter if you need a place to go when the car is in the shop.
I recently leased cx-5 from Mazda, Tracey and Peter(manager) made sure all process goes through without any issue. Tracey helped me take test drive of whichever model I wanted test drive for and she answered all the questions that I had. Overall it was a pleasant and hassle free experience for me.
Bought my first brand new vehicle through freeway mazda 2 years ago, since then they have gone above and beyond for any and all of my needs with my mazda3. Everytime I have gone in with questions they have taken the time out to make sure I am completely satisfied.
Purchase price that was provided to me before I bought the car was not followed during the actual purchase. The list price which is $21175(which is the sticker price on the car windshield/ dealer's price on the database and the dealer's website) less discount of $19675 was not followed as it was changed to $22175 less $1500($20675). The agreed price for the car was at $19675. If I was just informed before I bought the car that the price was at $22175 less discount, I should have chose a different color as I have more color choices on the $22175 price range. Trevor(sales manager) explained that there was an error on the pricing but how come that the written sticker price on the car windshield, the price on their computer database and the dealer's website for such car stock no. were all the same at $21175 for the car/stock no. that I chose. I have a screenshot of the car with the stock no. at $21175 before the $1500 discount which I saved on my computer as a proof.
I purchased a car from Tracey at Freeway Mazda and she was incredible to work with. Honest, attentive and always willing to answer questions in a forthright manner. If you are looking for a car, I highly recommend contacting Tracey - you'll be glad you did!
Tyler and the rest of the team at Freeway Mazda did a great job assisting us with our brand new CX-5! Because it was a big purchase, it did take a while for us to finally make a decision, but during that time he continuously checked in to see if there was anything he could do to help or if we had any questions. There was no pressure applied, and we did not feel rushed on making a decision. He was also very clear and concise when explaining the financing/leasing options and the different trims of the vehicle. We would definitely recommend him to friends or family that decide they want a Mazda in the future. Peter was also very kind and welcoming when we visited, as well as Fui who helped us with the rest of the process.
So impressed with my last car maintenance appointment at Freeway Mazda! They were quick, helpful and sent me a video to show me all the different parts of my vehicle and the condition of everything. Instead of taking their word for it, I could see for myself. So helpful!
I had a very pleasant experience here in Freeway Mazda. Jake was very helpful and accommodating. I had just purchased my 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium here I can't wait to drive it. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.
I went to Freeway Mazda because a different Mazda location gave me very poor service and my problem was not completely fixed. I had such an unpleasant experience that even though things were still needing to be done, I went to see the service Manager there. His name is Ed and he was simply amazing.
I explained my situation to Ed and he was able to squeeze me in on the weekend. This manager had his technician not only inspect the problem I was having but took a video of the inspection and then fixed it for free. I asked if he could do an oil change and it was no problem.
I got my car back in under one hour freshly washed and the service was FREE. I was pleasantly surprised as I felt I was overcharged at the other place. The technician then came out and further explained everything to me. How amazing that was. The staff at Freeway Mazda really care about you and that you leave with a little extra something. Other locations need training from Ed as this manager really know his stuff being a previous service Technician himself. Ed really is great at explaining the scope of the work and associated costs. This location is the place to buy your car and have it serviced.
My daughters Mazda had an issue with the seat. The part was on back order and was taking a long time. Mazda stepped right up, got her a great courtesy vehicle while we waited for the part. The service was second to none! Plus, when she originally bought her Mazda, both Angela and Eric were fantastic. I highly recommend this dealership...excellent people and great service (plus fabulous cars!!)
My experience at Freeway Mazda was very positive. Jake was friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant to speak with. He was thorough in explaining all of the different vehicle features and options and helped me pick the right vehicle for my needs. This made me feel confident in my purchase. The entire process from the Sales Floor to the Business Office was smooth and professional. All in all, great customer service from the staff!
Freeway Mazda is the only place I use for my cars servicing. Top notch guys and the dealership is very clean and follow covid regulations. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The employees at service are awesome dudes to deal with.
Very good service, everything done on time and according to schedule. Only thing I came across was that they offered a wash and vacuum but I only got the wash for my vehicle. Otherwise friendly and pleasant!
Recently came here for an oil change for my Mazda 3. Super friendly staff and did not feel pressured to buy services I don't need. Their prices are also very competitive. They provided a complimentary car wash and vacuumed the interior. I thought the "Thank You" card on my dash with 2 mints were a nice touch at the end. I highly recommend this place! (Also purchased the vehicle from this location)
I am not only a long time customer of Freeway Mazda, but I also worked there for 5 years! They are serioulsy the best dealership ever!!!
From an emplyee standpoint, it was a wonderful place to work. Everyone is incredibly friendly and it feels like a real family environment! The management in particular is some of the best I've ever had. I left to pursue a career in nursing, but everyone was so supportive. I miss working there dearly!
From a customer standpoint, they are and have always been incredible. My husband and I have owned a total of 5 cars from Freeway. We continue to upgrade because we love this dealership and their vehicles so much! Both the sales and service departments are friendly and knowledgeable, and all the staff are so kind and friedly every time we go in.
I highly recommend this dealership to everyone - whether you are looking for a vehicle or a place of employment!
I am from out of town by 7 hours. I recently traded in my 2007 CX-9 GT for a 2017 CX-9 Signature. I dealt with Tracey and Eric entirely by email right up to day of transaction. I was treated so professionally and with great care. I felt it was a big risk to make a deal 'online'. I couldn't be happier with the deal they gave me for my used car and the purchase of this preowned 'sparkling new' vehicle. Everything was exactly as stated. They emailed me a copy of the agreement ahead of time... So no surprises. Eric explained every detail of the contract, the existing warranty and really help me evaluate an extended warranty as well. Priceless peace of mind. Tracey caught something that didn't seem right with my navigation/entertainment system and had service dept double check it before I drove the long road home. They installed a brand new navigation card and did an update download. This I know would have been very frustrating to deal with in the Kootenays with no dealer close by. Such excellent care. I thoroughly enjoyed this process at Freeway Mazda. I highly recommend purchasing from here. 1st class all the way. When it's time I will drive back and stay with family and have my servicing done here! Thank you Tracey, Eric, and the awesome service department. See you again.
