We had our Subaru Outback serviced at this location and I can't even begin to express how AWESOME we think the service here is! They've been outstanding each and every time. I most recently worked with Veronica to make an appt for a new windshield. She was very helpful, prompt, and scheduled us an appt for it. I was kinda shocked at how fast she would call back with updates! I, not her, wrote down the wrong date showed up and realized that I mixed up the date for the appt. We were fine with coming back in a week but this dealership fit us in for the same day! Honestly, their service exceeds any service that I've seen so far. We also have a BMW and I used to think BMW's service was the best. Well, forgive me BMW gods, but Subaru has the best service I've seen & we're now looking to trade our 2nd car in for another subaru. Thanks again Veronica.

Forgot to write this review back in August! But I bought some aftermarket fog lights for my 2018 WRX. I had Subaru install them and paid about $200. The turn signal light wasn t working properly so when I took the car back and they had their technician look at it. They couldn t figure it out and recommended me to take it to Vision Pro. So I did. The moment vision pro looked at it they knew exactly what it was! it was only missing a $25 part! I also paid their labor fee to get the part installed so in total I spent $177 at Vision Pro. I was so upset at Subaru because I had to pay extra to get it fixed!! BUT then I decided to call Subaru and talk to the service manager about my situation. I talked to Chris and after explaining everything he apologized and told me they would write a check for the amount I paid at vision pro. THATS RIGHT YO GIRL GOT HER MONEY BACK!! Long story short if you get into any problems I recommend that you talk to the manager he was so nice and respectful and really does care about customers! ALSO if you need any after market lighting/wiring stuff installed on your car I recommend that you go to vision pro! Subaru dealerships mostly stick to stock stuff only. This is a great dealership with excellent in-house service performed by Subaru-Certified mechanics. I bought my Subaru from Young Subaru back in 2012 and have come back for maintanice and repairs ever since. Their customer service is Ace and I ve always had great experiences with them. I highly recommend this establishment.

Young Subaru is my favorite place to go when getting a new car!! Or going to the service department. They are the best in Utah, they are always nice and always fare. Buying my new Subaru Outback was a very easy decision with the help of Hiram!!! He was knowledgeable, nice And very patient! He was hands down the best car salesman I have ever dealt with.

It was awesome! Amy made sure the vehicle we wanted to look at was ready when we arrived and had, in my opinion, the best salesman ready and waiting to help us.. Ryan Laney is a great guy! No pressure, very personable, funny and loves what he does. Everybody at this dealership was amazing! That's the way they all should be... Highly recommend!

We're really glad we chose Young Subaru for our new vehicle. Mario is a great salesman. He was genuine and professional yet made the experience fun and entertaining. He located our son in-law the vehicle he was looking for and made the whole process very easy. He took the extra time to make sure that we got the lowest rate possible. We'll definitely be back to purchase our next vehicle. :)

Well, I have a terrible experience with this deale...

Well, I have a terrible experience with this dealership. At first, they gave me a too-good-to-be-true quote ($700 below the invoice price); so I started to lean forward buy a car from them. They were very pushy, kept telling me that the number of this car is limitted, and wanted me to sign off on the deal quick. However, not until I was about to put down the deposit then I realized the "too-good-to-be-true" price has been offset by bogus and inflated fees, one of which is vin-etching ($299). They acted like we were really stupid and had no idea what this fee was about; after I told the guy the vin etching fee is an option, not a mandatory, and he can technically order the same car for me without this option, he lost face and gave me the silent treatment. What a waste of time for me ....I would strongly recommend against buying anything from this dealership. If you do some quick research on other Subaru dealership in Utah (in SL and Utah county), they will save yourself time and feeling of being disprected by Young Subaru.

I purchased a car for the second time from this dealership and I wish that I would have never dealt with them to begin with. My first purchase was a nightmare and most interactions with them after that as well. I had to get my car detailed 3 different times on the first purchase (had to wait 6 days for detail on the second) and had to wait a couple of hours for oil changes. 90% of the time after I got my car serviced, something went wrong (e.g. light bulbs need replacing, etc.). Young had started to improve little by little so I decided to try them out again for a car that I had my eye on for a while. I made a big mistake. The process took less time than the last, but they overcharged and would not budge on price. I hear that most dealerships take advantage of women, and this could have also been a factor since it was me and one other (maybe not?). However, they went on about not being able to drop the price due to them fixing a bunch of things on the car, when there's still at least 10 things that need to be repaired/replaced. I ended up paying $800 more than planned because it was not explained to me that gap insurance was not a part of the "deal". Now I'm left with a car that I have to still put hundreds of dollars into on top of paying my car payment, which proves to be difficult on a student budget. None of the issues that have come up is imagined when purchasing any car from a dealership, especially one who "strives to take care of the customers". That is the furthest thing from the truth. They want you in and out and to collect your money on the in between. It has gotten to the point that I know even if I talk with someone about issues, nothing will be done or it will be a halfway job. There is no energy left to do business with them any longer. I will NEVER, EVER purchase a vehicle from this establishment again, and I will advise everyone I know and even those I don't to never purchase a car here.

I've been in here a few times and I have never been let down! The staff is super friendly and quick to offer help. I had come in expecting the service to take 3-4 hours, but was pleasantly surprised that is would only take an hour and a half! Prompt and excellent service! Technicians are knowledgeable and I would only trust to get my Forester serviced here. Would definitely recommend others to come check them out.

Karlee is my sales agent who makes me feel like a friend and every time something comes up she is able to quickly and effectively answer my questions! I love my Outback and I love my dealership!

My experience with Young Subaru was very frustrati...

My experience with Young Subaru was very frustrating. After my initial visit, I never heard from or talked with the salesman I worked with. I experienced a lack of professional communication & common courtesy and had to put in an unreasonable amount of work as a customer to give this company my business. About three and a half months after I purchased my vehicle, I started to have some extreme mechanical issues. The process of getting my vehicle restored to working condition was a lengthy one that involved taking it to more than one shop, but it was eventually discovered that there was a hairline crack in the radiator along with a few other issues that should have been caught much sooner. Throughout this process Young Subaru did extend an offer of help, though it did not work out in my best interest to accept it. While I did not enjoy my car buying experience here and would not give a recommendation based on it, there were some individuals that were very helpful and pleasant to work with.

** I would also like to note that I updated this review to make it more fair after receiving a call from the dealership. I appreciated the call and was happy to fix a few things and I apologized for the unfairness. However, I would like to disclose that I was told a call had been made by the dealership to one of the shops that I had taken the vehicle to following my review - during which the dealership was informed that all of the mechanical issues with the vehicle were solely caused by "the way I was driving it" and had nothing to do with the integrity of the vehicle upon purchase. I happen to have developed a good relationship with this shop and felt horrible at the idea of them being negatively effected. I called the shop to apologize for involving them and to explain that I never meant to misquote them, but they had no clue what I was talking about.

I very rarely write reviews, but I feel that I sho...

I very rarely write reviews, but I feel that I should make others aware. We have two Subarus (Impreza and a forester), about 5 months ago we took the forester in because the key would not come out of the ignition. They called me an hour later and explained that they opened it up and found that the problem was that it needed a new 'plate guide' and it would cost $250 total. I told them no thanks, we'll just deal with it for a little while and then decide. Well, the key hasn't gotten stuck ever since, which is good and would imply that them taking it apart and putting it back together solved the issue.
Fast forward 5 months (now) and we started experiencing the same issue with the Impreza. We took it in and told the employee that this was the second time we had been in for the same reason. They replied, and I quote, "We have this issue all the time, so many people come in with the same problem, I don't know why they don't just do a recall on it."
After dropping the car off I get a call from the service manager explaining that if I want to know what the problem is I have to pay an $89 diagnostics fee, then, pay for the issue to be fixed. I said, no thanks and they completed the recall fixes we were needing. When the manager called back to let me know they were done, he said, that the issue was a "guide plate" I asked if they took it apart to figure that out and he said, no we get a lot of these and just know that that's the problem. He continued saying that it will be over $500 to get it fixed.
To sum up, they doubled the price of a service that should be taken care of free of charge and they charge an $89 fee at the beginning to ensure people will go through with the fix. This is the kind of thing that gives auto mechanic work a bad name for things like taking advantage and ripping people off.
At the very end of the visit, he was reading off all of the things that the car 'needed' air filters, fluids, etc. and then he said new tires... I had purchased brand new tires only a month earlier...

Young Subaru is staffed by a bunch of nice and well dressed salesman. They were very friendly to me when I came in and they weren't pushy towards things that i didnt want in a vehicle. They made it clear to me that even though i was not ready to purchase a vehicle tonight that they would be ready to assist me whenever i was ready to purchase a vehicle! I've never seen a group of such clean cut and well mannered individuals!

I took my car in there today to get an oil change and inspection of vehicle. And when I picked it up. The oil dipstick was not replaced and the hub caps that connect to my wheels were not on right. Also my car now has a horrible squil that never happened before. I showed the service tech and he said it's my water pump and showed me there is no coolant.. but the service tech wrote off that my coolant was good... better off to get to jiffy lube. Your get the same service.

Went in for just a general lookover and a few mino...

Went in for just a general lookover and a few minor things, plus a warranty replacement. ~$120 or so expected.
Gave me a free Lyft home, then back the next day. Everyone was very kind, extremely polite and sociable. Super nice folks, especially Kim, who also has pretty cool dreadlocks.

When the inspection found some unexpected problems outside of my budget, they were polite and didn't pressure me into the fixes, and even suggested some potential alternatives and do-it-myself temporary holdovers. Made me feel bad that I couldn't afford to fix it immediately, hah!

I passed the quoted prices they gave me to a local mechanic friend and he said that they were all on the nose, fair prices too. Dealerships are infamous for being overpriced, so even better! Definitely 5/5

Customer service was outstanding. The employees take the time to personally e-mail you and try to help you in anyway they can. They will walk you around the whole lot to show you good deals or things you may be interested in.
The only bad part, to me, was their prices seemed to be pretty high on their used vehicles.

Working with everyone at Young Subaru, was a great experience! I walked in feeling nervous, and unsure about getting into a new vehicle. Immediately I was greeted by Ryan Laney the kindest salesman ever! He took the time to understand where I was coming from! I had a blast test driving cars with him! From the moment I walked in, and all through the financing experience to when I drove off the lot, I was assured that I was making a good decision, because I truly felt like I was in good hands! Best car buying experience in my Life! The best part of this experience by far was the professionalism and knowledge of Jeff (Trey) Wilkins! Over and over again he genuinely showed great interest in putting my wife and myself in the car of our dreams. Especially when it came to our financial situation, he treated us as family. My families future car or Trade-in will 100% without a doubt be from Jeff (Trey) Wilkins!

Myself and my family have purchased two cars from Young Subaru. Quin Follett was the salesman both times, and he was by far the best car salesman I have ever had to deal with. Wonderful personality, made me laugh and feel like I was at home. So very knowledgeable when it comes to his profession; he answered any and every question I threw at him.

There was absolutely no pressure in the purchasing experience; something I truly loathe is the amount of pressure applied by salesmen.

I feel I could go on and on about how great Quin was but this will suffice for now. If I or anyone for that matter ever needs to purchase another vehicle it should definitely be from Quin Follett and no one else.

I hate reading reviews that are filled with all so...

I hate reading reviews that are filled with all sorts of drama so here are the facts.
Car was acting up, called in. Scheduled a 10:30 a.m. diagnostic. Was told the diagnostic was $75 on the phone.
This was just to diagnose the issue, not to work on the car.
Arrived. He had me sign a document stating the bill would be $105.
I asked about the $75, he acted confused as if, he had never heard of that number. $105 was there hourly rate.
I signed. I was never told how long it would take or ever given even a hint or suggestion at possible time frame.
I try to be patient, I know what its like to work in customer service.
After a while of waiting I got bored with sitting so I decided to walk around outside. Nice day.
Its 12 at this point. I round the corner and see my car still sitting behind shop. They hadn't even looked at it yet.
I asked the service center worker, what was up.
He assured me they were hurrying. He said, "I will call you when its ready." Implying, 'please don't ask again'

After hours of waiting, the sales staff, who had all noticed me being there all day, encouraged me to go "bug them" so they will hurry up.

I did so. My car had been sitting in the parking lot for at least an hour waiting. No one came to tell me.
The catalytic converter was bad.
Told me the spark plugs needed to be changed and so on. I changed the spark plugs 6 days prior.
Cant afford to fix cat converter, so I decide to just pay for the diagnostic and bail.
Final bill, he says, "After tax, that will be $120"
I do the math quick in my head. Doesn't add up.
He hands me the itemized bill. I see $10.50 for some "processing fee" or something like that.
I asked him, what that was about. He says something like it helps pay for the 'rags and forms' and things. Didn't really understand.
Went in thinking it was $75 left paying almost twice that.

I left at 5:15 PM.
I was there for almost 7 hours.

They were very respectful when they spoke to me. And we never became short or rude with each other.

In summary. Their objectives were clearly not to help me make a very bad situation better. And they were very good at the old 'nickel and dime'. They wasted my time, and wanted more of my money. I felt pretty bad. A little used. If you want to roll the dice about customer service and honest business practices go ahead. Otherwise, maybe go somewhere else.

Came into Young Subaru knowing all the numbers to buy a new Outback. Expected to have to do some hard negotiating in order to feel good about purchasing. Cameron was very straight forward. He was determined to get me the best price and he delivered! Young Subaru beat the selling price of the other 2 competitive Subaru dealerships in the area (their sales price). Fantastic! Best experience I have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle. Young Subaru is genuinely interested in making their customers happy. Great Job!

I pose a question, is there a better and more helpful person than Amy Jo, I submit that there is not! In my interactions with her she always goes above and beyond what I would consider the status quo. She is awesome and needs to be recognized for what she does. Rock on Amy Jo!
