We had called a few places to compare cars, and all we really wanted was a WRX for under $9,000. Almost every single place we tried said we would never find one that cheap and should just get a Legacy or Outback. After 1 call to Young, they asked us very detailed questions like what was the limit on how many miles it should have, color, etc. One salesman, Mike Davis went above and beyond to help us find a car, and 2 days later we found an excellent condition WRX for $5,999 with very low miles and in perfect condition.

We live in Sandy and went all the way to Ogden just because of the service and it was worth it. They originally told us that my car would get about $800 for a trade in value and the lowest they wanted to go on the WRX was $5,500, and we had offered $5,400 and wanted at least $1,500 for my old car, they came back and told us that they would do it, and even ended up selling us the car for $5,150.

I have never been more pleased with customer service anywhere in my entire life. I would recommend Young to anyone and will definitely be going back there.

Update: 3/5/19 I must say Young Subaru went out of their way to resolve the issue. I was impressed by their professionalism and their commitment to rectify the problem. I have hence retracted my earlier 1 Star rating. This dealership will take care of their customers. Its hard finding dealerships that work hard to keep the customer's best interest and Young Subaru really is top notched when it comes to customer satisfaction. Way to Go Young Subaru. you have earned a loyal customer.

Was looking at a new car that was extremely hard to find but Braydon Hyer did some excellent work and found exactly what I was looking for and had it brought in less than two days (less than I have to wait for something off Amazon!) Would highly recommend. Went above and beyond really excellent customer service.

We had our best new car buying experience ever at Young Subaru this month!! Our salesperson, Ryan Newbold, was beyond AWESOME! He is the most knowledgeable salesperson we have ever met. He knows everything about Subarus, he answered questions correctly no matter what we asked him and he gave us information we had no idea about and I did a lot of research before we decided on buying our first Subaru. Impressive Ryan. Great job! Also, Ryan was extremely professional, friendly and genuine throughout the entire process. He was patient and stayed in touch with us over a couple of week period without any pressure. He was just there to help which he did excellently. We ended up buying our dream Subaru (2021 Subaru Forester Sport) in our favorite color and Ryan helped make it happen! We love it! As a dealership, Young Subaru was flexible and accommodating throughout the entire purchase process. We had a unique situation which made our purchase a little more complicated than normal and Young Subaru handled all of it perfectly and quickly. Our Finance Manager, Cameron Christensen, was also great! Both Cameron and Ryan made sure we understood all that was available in options and features and honored and accepted our decisions without pressure and we truly appreciated that. The customer service we received from start to finish was world class and now that we are Subaru owners, that world class service continues every time we call or visit. Everyone we have interacted with, including the Service Department (specifically Ammon Borup who was very professional, thorough and pleasant to work with), have been friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure all of our questions were answered including any detailed specifications I asked for. Young Subaru is an EXCELLENT dealership that we feel we can trust. We are so glad we chose your dealership. That probably says it all right there because I personally have never felt that way about any dealership before. And thank you again Ryan for being awesome and making sure our car buying experience was positive in every way. We are very glad we made our purchase with you. Ive been coming to this location for my oil changes for about 1 1/2 years now and about two weeks ago will be my final visit. You would think that during the oil change and tire rotation they inspect the rest of the car like the breaks but they certainly didn't for me. Turns out one of my break pads was missing and the other had less than a millimeter of pad left. Thanks for the heads up young Subaru! I almost ended up in on coming traffic because I fugured they would say something like they are supposed to. So if you value your car like me I would suggest finding another place that will inspect your car like they are supposed to be doing.

Looking for a new car recently and was completely bamboozled by several other dealerships. Subaru was last on my list, but I am glad I went in and spoke to one of the most genuine car salespeople I've ever met. Quin is the fella's name; he made me feel cared for, comfortable and gave me more of an education than I could have researched on my own. I sincerely appreciate his salesmanship and and will refer him to anyone that is on the hunt for a new car. I had a recall on my passenger airbag, so I made an appointment to get it replaced for free. The staff were all very considerate and I was able to use the in town shuttle to get back to work in no time at all. The shuttle also picked me up (the repair was a three hour process), and upon arriving I only had to wait about five minutes before they had completed everything. The waiting area is very well furnished with seating, wifi, and a vending machine. Thanks!

This dealership will take care of you. Period.

My car had a faulty VSC (traction control) module very shortly after getting it. This dealership put me in a loaner vehicle for the time it took to get my car into town from another dealer out of state, as well as for the entire time my car was in the shop for the VSC repair. Since that repair, I have been back to have a vibration caused by my Legacy's awesome sound system checked out/silenced, where they did a free alignment check and actually found a tire was out enough to align it. I have worked primarily with Parker since sale, and he has been fantastic. The customer service at this dealership is absolutely incredible, and I will be sending friends and family to them in the future because of my experiences without any doubt.

Bought a new Legacy at Young Subaru/Karlee this last weekend. The process was pretty much seamless, and she even got a past customer to come by and show me their car so I could see it in a trim I was considering. Karlee was great, made me feel welcome and comfortable. Karlee has also gone above and beyond well after the sale to help me with other problems. If you're looking for a new car, I definitely recommend this dealership, especially Karlee!

Owned my car 11 months now, never had any mechanical issues. Had all evidence and reports of work done and kept their word on the 2 years maintenance free that comes with every subaru purchase. They got me $0 down with a payment I could afford! Without pressuring me and actually listening to my wants and needs.

Service oriented businesses are all about details. Overall, my car buying experience at Young Subaru was ok, which is why the rating is average. It's the details that impact that score. This review is to go through those details.

Good Details:
They had the vehicle I bought ready for me to look at when I first arrived. That included a tag in the window with my name on the rear view mirror to let me know they were anticipating me. They also had a drink ready for me which was a nice gesture. Jonah was my sales person and he was very helpful. Everyone I was introduced to used my first name and multiple times through out my test drive and pickup visits people constantly checked in on me to make sure I didn't need anything. Negotiating the car was a straight forward comfortable experience. These are all good details that positively impacted my experience.

Not So Good Details:
First, there was a clear blemish on the car that was not obvious to me when looking online. Yes, it was visible in one picture but it was fairly innocuous and would be hard to see unless I was looking for it. I would have appreciated that detail being disclosed in the car description instead of being omitted. I found out after I drove 90 mins each way to test drive the car. Jonah was a good salesman but he called me by the wrong name a couple of times and repeated some questions he had already asked me. The questions I can forgive easily but if you go out of your way to welcome me with my name in the car, please use it throughout my visit. Once we agreed to a price I had to come back with a check from the bank to pick up the car. The car was supposed to be cleaned and filled up for me when I picked it up. Neither was done and they were unwilling to do so after I had paid. It seems like a simple thing but I was told cars can leave with a 1/2 tank. Lastly, they let me leave without a temporary plate or registration. Luckily, someone caught us as we were driving away and corrected it. It would have been unfortunate if I would have driven away without the registration.

Would I purchase a car from the Young Group again? I can't answer that question yet. The price for the vehicle was good and if I lived up north the 2 year maintenance would be good, but otherwise, it was a fairly ok experience with a few bumps along the way.

This review is long over due and I have been just to busy ENJOYING MY NEW CAR!! I was petrified of possibly getting declined due to my lack of credit and a one income home, middle age - you know the deal. Fortunately I was referred to HESTON YOUNG at the Young Subaru Ogden location by a family member who has worked with him for years. Heston was beyond the best!!! Heston got the type of cars I was interested and even had them lined up for me at a tent sale What is so great about him is he is a no pressure kind of guy, he will tell you like it is and he just wants his customers to be happy I am not one to toot someone's horn unless it is completely justified but I would like to yell it from the mountain tops (which I can actually drive too now LOL) how great Heston and the finance teams were and are to work with!

I have been looking for the PERFECT car for myself for several months now. My friends referred me to Young Subaru and told me to work specifically with Landon Puffer because he is AMAZING. I did just that. Landon proved to not only be awesome to work with, but also a miracle worker for my specific (PICKY/IMPOSSIBLE) situation. From the get go I told him my TOUGH situation and also that I wanted "Magic" to happen to get me into the right car. He took it very serious despite being super busy. He worked with the awesome finance man and searched for the perfect car for me. The car he found was on a sister lot, but he still made it happen and stayed about 2 hours after close to make the MAGICAL deal close. I would DEFINITELY recommend Landon to anyone.

Just bought my first new car here! Went with the 2020 Forester. I used to drive a 1999 Forester, but sadly she died, so it was time for an upgrade. Having never bought a car before (the 99 was a hand-me-down) I was super nervous, as I had no idea what to expect. Ryan was phenomenal! Totally satisfied with the service at this location. I bought a used car last year from Hiram and it ended up having a few issues. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem....Hiram and Justin made things so much easier dealing with the frustrations of it. They sent it to the proper places and I received it back with absolutely no problems. So Happy with them I called them again and gave them info on a truck I was interested in and they had it on the lot that morning. Hiram and I test drove it and of course I bought it from them because of the care prior that I knew I would be completely satisfied again. I have now gotten two used cars from Young Subaru in Riverdale. My first one I got from Greg and he was poliet and patient with me. I got a good deal and was very happy with my car. I just went back yesterday (almost two years later) because we needed something a bit bigger. I had Kelly this time and he was so amazing. I worked with him and Justin (who is a manager there) and they worked really hard to get me in the car I wanted and to still make it work with my budget. I made an appointment for service 9 days in advanced. I promptly arrived on-time for my service appointment. I had provided a detailed description to the service manager over the phone when I made the appointment but upon arrival, my assigned service manager had no record of what my scheduled service visit was about so I had to reexplain the problem with my vehicle. I was informed their master machinic would be taking care of my vehicle and I informed the service manager that I would be waiting in their customer lounge while my vehicle was being worked on. An hour and 20 minutes went by without any update from the service manager so I decided to walk around the outer perimeter of the service garage to see if my vehicle was being worked on. I discovered it parked behind the service garage. I returned to the service manager desk and asked about my vehicle and told the service manager I discovered my vehicle parked out back. My hope was my vehicle had been serviced and they just had not gotten around to tell me my vehicle was done. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I basically sat in their customer lounge for almost an hour and a half thinking my vehicle was being service when instead it was sitting behind their service garage the whole time. My service manager apologized and gave me the lame excuse that they were short handed today. Why couldn't they have told me that when I arrived promptly on time for my scheduled appointment or even better yet call me before I drove 45 minutes to their service center. I basically told the service manager that this was not acceptable and that I expected better from this service department. At that point, I requested that they return my vehicle to me as I wasn't going to continue to waste my valuable time. They promptly gave me back my keys and made no effort to rectify the situation.

This was my first time buying from a dealer and I've been pleasantly surprised. I was looking for something very specific and flew in from out of state to get it. Our salesman Ryan N. was very helpful showing the car remotely and setting things up remotely, and even arranged transit from the airport for us to the dealership. Paperwork was relatively straightforward and while we did have to wait a few minutes for a sales manager to close things, the dealership is comfortable with coffee, water, and snacks provided.
