I just have to give a million praises to this company!! I got my car in September 2015. For two years I was NEVER late. Than I got behind two months September and October, they deferred my October to the back of the loan and I only had to pay one payment. Than I got behind again December January and February. They called me everyday but I never answered like a dummy. Just waited and waited on my taxes. Well I walk out and my car got repossessed. My fault for being 3 months behind. They called me that day and I answered. Told me if I just paid one payment and the tow fees they would defer the other two payments to the back of the loan. Also said if I would have answered they would have told me that than. I was so grateful. I got my car two days later. Yea their interest sucks, but we wouldn t have Westlake If our credit didn t suck. They are amazing. And helped me during a very trying time!

I have been having financial problems for the passed couple of months and was not able to pay. The moment I was able to pay partially, Mike was able to help me out. He gave me options and gave me all the information I needed! Mike was one of the most helpful representative I have ever encountered!

Excellent customer service. I only called a couple of times during my loan, but I was able to talk to a human in less then a minute. They also have a very useful app that helps you stay update to date with your loan. They'll be the first place I call for my next loan.

They took our car after we called and told them the car was sold,we we're paying off loan in full.Car only had a few more payments it was repo'd due to two months late.Truck was in Four wheel drive on our yard they chained the tires and yanked it from yard on hill with a regular tow truck..Our truck is damaged ,our yard is damaged,out other vehicle got damaged.They said uh-huh and .... Very very bad business people and poor customer service .Lawyering up with a large law suit coming their way.I have survelance video of their tow truck driver damage to our property.

Biggest scammers out there! We have a large reparable dealership and decided to try Westlake financial. It should be illegal to do what they do to their customers. They absolutely charge them way too much they don't tell you about any other hidden fees it's very unfair to the consumer. We had a rep there completely lied to us about everything and debit lots of money from our account now we are suing the company.

Their rates are crazy $7 plus dollars a day a late fee plus $20.35 on top of that after your grace period that they charge you for but u supposedly have a grace period on car payments. This place have had my information wrong since day one. They are leeches if I could give negative 10 stars I would. It's sad how these business are able to rob you for these broken down cars. Just beware and if you have options of different loan companies explore them plz.

If I could give this company NEGATIVE stars, I absolutely would! My spouse was financed through them, and we both work in the auto finance industry so we understand the welcome call process, and such which isn't an issue AT all. We also know that as long as you make your payments, again...no issues at all. MY complaints is with their customer service, and the fact that their phone connection is probably a step up from DIAL up, the agents can barely speak english as I'm assuming they outsource their customer service through another country because it's cheaper. They interrupt you, talk over you, are extremely rude when you're simply attempting to give them the information they're asking for. Mcdonalds has better customer service than this horrendous place. Seriously UPGRADE your systems and TRAIN your people correctly! Also...if you could EVER work on leaving ACTUAL voicemails, that would probably help your customers in the future. No wonder your company is at the bottom of the totem pole in the auto finance industry, I'd be ashamed working for/representing your company. DISGRACEFUL.

This is a great company, I can't believe so many are cutting their heads off for customer service! They financed me! And their rate were way better than the next guy, these guys gave me a chance. I have been late on my payment a couple times but they don't hound me to death. I will use them for my next vehicle. Thank You Westlake for helping my family out!

Extremely high interest rate, uneducated employees. I called to pay off my loan and was told I had to wait until the following day because he was having computer problems. He also informed me that I'd have to pay another days interest. I tried calling another representative who also gave me the run around. Simply put - they don't want you to pay off your loan. Now, it's been over a month and I'm still waiting for my title. They claimed up to 10 days to process and another 10 to ship. I've emailed the title department no less than 5x and they won't respond. I've read elsewhere that MANY people have had problems getting their title and have had to file for a lost title. Should be illegal!!! This company isn't worth your money or headache.

Emmaniel was very helpful in resolving my mother's account issue. Back in October 16, 2019, me and my mother submitted an authorization letter so I can speak with Westlake Financial representatives about my mother's account since I am taking over the payments. Usually, I have had to deal with rude representatives with attitudes, but on February 13, not only was Emmaniel was kind, he was very patient with me. He was able to locate the authorization letter and assisted me with making my payment. My only regret was I didn't get his extension number so if an issue were to arise again, I can call him. Thank you Emmaniel, keep up the great work!!!

If I could have left fewer stars I would. I paid off my truck 3 months ago and never received my title. Everytime I called, they placed me on hold and hung up on me. They claim to have sent my title but conveniently it was lost in the mail, their Bill's to me never got lost though....(They never mailed it out, because the previous times I called, they never once stated they mailed it out. They just wanted me to give it 10 business days and I should receive it. )

I will NEVER use them again, no matter how convenient they were.

I never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Don t set up ACH payments with this company. My payments don t start till October and they made a withdrawal from my banking account weeks before the due date. I m suppose to have a grace period before it starts. Now I have to wait a week to be reimbursed for money that should ve never been withdrawn in the first place. The tone, attitude, and arrogance in these people s voices disgusts me.

I bought a car in a buy here pay here and it was financed with them the car dealer had two contracts each with different amounts and this people wont do anything about it, they stick with the one contract that is the most money for them even thought they know the car dealer made a mistake.

I financed about $4700 on a BMW X3. Had an 18mo loan that I just made the last payment on. They worked with me. My interest rate was high - but I had a previous repo and a low score so I was fine with that.This is the first time I have ever paid off a car, and I'm so glad that they took a chance with me. My credit score has gone up at least 30 points even with my late payments. I'm a tech person, so I made the majority of my payments through the app. I had to make an arrangement with my payments 2x, and the CSRs were very helpful. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not report to your credit every month. I had to dispute a balance with my credit bureau because it hadn't been updated in a couple of months. But they fixed it! I just hate that I had to take that extra step to get it done.This is getting very long so I'll wrap it up. There is a grace period for payments - 10 days. I have had calls at 7 days (just because I was waiting to get paid in order to pay them). The reason I pCurrently waiting for my title, and hopefully I can finance another car I have my eye on soon! If you need to rebuild, THIS IS YOUR LENDER. Just make your payments on time and you'll be fine!

Please make sute that this is the last conpany you take a loan out with. They will charge you interest everyday how they ferl when they feel. If your car payment is 300. A month just know that your obly paying 186 dollars a month, check your pay statements because if you dont you will be swung out of them. Customrr Service is amazing but thr dishonesty is Real.

Not a loan company I'd do business with ever again, there are loan sharks more respectable and principled. The last time I checked gap insurance covered what regular insurance didn't and if it didn't why make someone get it unless it's to get more money out of them. Anyway avoid this company as if it were the plague......

This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I have been shuffled around to at least 3 representatives each time I've called and still my concern is unresolved. The insurance department is impossible to reach. This is very frustrating considering I have never been late on a payment. Westlake called to let me know they would like to finance another vehicle for me. I wouldn't dare allow that nor would I refer anyone else.

Like how many payments have I made or why did Westlake financial call me. BUT today I spoke with Ari who answered all my questions without hesitation or anything. He was great! Constantly having issues with fees related to the mistakes of the agents that they refuse to waive and remove. Nobody is able to understand me on the phone. The reason why I give a one star is bc a few days ago I call regarding my cousin's account and I didn't receive any help at all, I was on the line for about 40 minutes. The first time I call i was told by the representative that West lake financial services was going to provide us the information and allow my mother to get my cousin's belongings but we were gonna pay a fee. I was told to call the next day because the representative didn't had access to the information because the car was repossessed a day ago. Then I call the next day and receive No as an answer. The reason for my call was for West lake financial services to help my mother get my cousin's belongs from his car. My family is going thru a bad situation in which my cousin was arrested and his car was repossessed. He lived in his car therefore all his belongings are in that car including his personal documents, that's the main reason why my mother wants to get his belongings. Unfortunately he is here illegally and will most likely get deported to Mexico. I request to speak to a supervisor or manager and I was told my mother needs a power of attorney or he has to be give a verbal authorization. We investigated regarding a power of attorney but it takes time and money which is something we don't have and he is in jail so is not like if he can make a phone call at anytime. But I bet if I were to call and say i wanna make a payment they wouldn't say I needed his authorization to do it. Is ridiculous how they don't understand my mother only wants his belongings and his documents, she even said if they charged her a fee she is willing to pay it, but she received no help at all.

I never had issues with them up until now. All my payments where on time and so I never ran into any trouble. Until now. My car was totaled 12/15/18. My insurance payed them off on 1/2/19 my payments are due on every 8th of the month. My insurance paid out 8600 for my truck and I owed westlake $4400 I already recrrece my part of the check. And on 1/2/19 financed a new car with them again. They're finance department didn't want to finance me until the old car was paid off. And they managed to verify it was. Yet a week later they're blowing me up saying I'm late on my payment. I made the $300 payment but I know they got the check already if I got mines and finance verified it. Westlake does interest everyday so the longer they say they don't have the check the more $ I owe them. This is exactly what they're doing. And it's wrong. I wouldn't doubt they'll take another 10 days to list the check as received to where I only get refunded $150-200 of that $300

I own a dealership in the Chicagoland area and have been partnered with Westlake for a number of years. They are a full spectrum lender that allows people to acquire the vehicle they want at affordable rates, they are easy to work with and have excellent customer service. One of my points of contact Danny Granados is prompt and on point every time I have needed his help or have a question. It is a team member like Danny or his manager that make us choose Westlake as a preferred lender for our customers. If you are thinking of financing a vehicle and are looking as Westlake as your potential lender I advise that you choose them, they will make the entire process easy.

I was treated poorly and rudely by both people I spoke to on the phone. I was offered payment options and made quite clear I wanted them. I work and am a single mother and am not always available to answer calls or make calls during business hours. To be rude and disrespectful was unacceptable. If I am late making payments I always pay up and at times months in advance to cover that rainy day. There was clearly a misunderstanding in communication when last I called and when I explained I was followed with nothing but rudeness. I will most definitely be changing my loan to my financial institution.

you guys as a company do not stand behind your customer service. I had a payment scheduled for April 10. Called the day before to cancel and your rep informed and confirmed that it would be canceled. Well it wasn't. Called back on the 10th when a rep told me the money would get refunded. Well today being may 21st. I've been dealing with you all and your lies for over a month. Each rep telling me the tegund is approved and the money is getting refunded, to find out today that another rep says it isn't. Smh again shame on your company. Now I have to rob Peter to pay Paul to pay my rent due to me getting laid off.

Never finance through this company if you can help it. For 1 they will reposs your car after 30 days of non payment. So don't be late....Once your car is paid to be released they want 24-72 hours before they release it. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. After paying my release. They gave me this running around about paperwork. Proof of household, financials, the works "like your buying a new car again". After a week I called on why my car hadn't been released yet. Come to find out that after speaking to all those reps (at least 20) none of them filed release paperwork. Granted, we do have a second car Thank God. But if this was your only way for transportation. You could lose a job over this or worse. They are very irresponsible in the way they handle thier customer service and payment plans. I'm just glad I have less then $1500.00 left to pay on this car. If I didn't know better. It almost looks like they were trying to sabotage me into keeping my car and not returning it bc it was almost paid off and they would have made more money to sell it as is.
This all originally started when we questioned the extreme late fees we were being charged. It's supposed to be $10 a month per late fee. When we got our bill they charged us almost $300 in late fees. How can that be when it's $10 a month. When we questioned where those late fees came from they said they were going to send us an itemized statement showing where those late fees came from. They never sent us the paperwork. Instead they repossessed the car. Even now they are trying to charge us 2 repo fees and I still have not gotten my car back yet. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hope this review will help those who are looking for a financing company that doesn't rip you off.

Not even really one star , this company has rude agents and managers that need to be trained again . I had the worst experience of my life with them . Owed a partial payment and a full months payment and it was 796 total but they picked up the car charging me 1500 to pick it up instead of helping me stay in the car they being rude and making me want to walk away from the car

I was late on my payment for the first time. I've been with Westlake Financial for 18 months. The car needed repairs causing me to fall behind. The customer service representative was very kind and took my situation into consideration she helped by deferring my payment so that it doesn't show on my credit that I was late on payments. She really went the extra mile and I am so happy to be a member of Westlake Financial.

Terrible terrible terrible run organization.

Staff is EXTREMELY under trained. Your blood will boil 10 out of 10 times you reach out to them. I was getting five different answers from five different people for the same question.
I wanted to expedite the shipment of my title after I paid off the loan.
Some staff said possible, some said yes but you need to do blah blah, some said yes but call back later.
Getting a confirmed date of release was a mess, I got 3 different dates. all of which were incorrect. (Still undetermined and open at this moment)
You WILL get attitude from them.

They seemingly don't care.

They almost seem a bit crooked, the people running this company need to take a deep dive into their systems and their methods with satisfying their customers.. at this moment they're experts in bad reviews.

Take a serious look at other reviews and the situations peoples have had.. don't let yourself be one of them!

I was in the hospital for 2 weeks due to covid 19 and will be out of work for another 2 weeks at home. I called Westlake from the hospital on my payment due date to ask for a 1 month deferment, I was told I qualified for the deferment but my loan had to be 6 days late first... sounded crazy but I waited 6 days and called back, I was once again told that I qualified for a 1 month deferment and my last payment would be a balloon payment along with a $50 processing fee. As I was stuck between a rock and a hard place I agreed to their terms and played the $50 fee. The representative then put me on hold because she was having problems processing the request, when she came back on the phone we got disconnected so I called back and ended up with another representative who I explained everything that just happened, he comes back and tells me they are NOT doing deferments!! I told him the last representative had already charged me the processing fee! I ended up speaking to a supervisor who was no help at all and told me the $50 would be applied to my amount due... I cant understand how this company has so many representatives that dont know their own policies and what a piss poor company Westlake is to not offer any type of deferment during a world wide pandemic that has millions of Americans out of work...
I have another vehicle leased thru Ally bank and they're offering up to 120 deferment on loans and leases. I see westlake losing millions of dollars when they end up repossessing hundreds if not thousands of cars because of their indifference to their customers needs during this pandemic.
I'll be looking into refinancing my loan with a reputable lender once I'm back to work and will never deal with westlake going forward.

I am a personal injury attorney and they continue to take money from my client bank account for SIX MONTHS after both insurance and GAP coverage paid my client "TOTALED" vehicle.

After numerous calls on getting my address changed to receive a refund check, Cesario was finally able to get the address changed... This has been a long 2 month battle trying to get this account closed out. I suggest they have Cesario TRAIN OTHERS on how to get an "invalid city" address to go into the "old" system.
Now I wait to see if it the check will make it here?
