I was in a situation where I had to declare ch 13 however this was the only account that I did pay in full .. YET they reported it as a charge off/bad debt. The customer service people are rude and do not care about helping and have zero empathy.
This was a wonderful experience with a loan. I got the money I needed and was treated with respect and the staff were very friendly. This was done with a 48 hour period. amazing experience, would recommend them to my friends and family.

Wost customer service EVER! I got a loan from them and when applying of course they were helpful. Down the line when i would call for questions i would get transfered to the next person and the next and the next only to be hung up on multiple times. I called back asked for a supervisor they apologized and said we are having a supervisor call you back tomorrow asap. Never heard from anyone. Horrible business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
Horrible horrible horrible crooks!!! They pressured me to give them my title to the car I owned free and clear before I was able to even read through the contract! First red flag! Then when I asked to have the contract so that I may read through it the girl, Angelica, sent it 2 minutes before the notary came to my home. The notary, however, was very understanding about my concerns and agreed to come back at a later date and time. When Angelica called me back to basically yell at me, she was very upset and tried to guilt trip me into handing over my title anyways and that I could read it over later and if I do not decide to sign they will give back my title. 2nd red flag! Who in their right mind would ever do business like that??? I replied that I already spoke with the notary and she was okay and understanding in which I was rudely cutoff and yelled at to which I told her I don t like her attitude or tone of voice and that I do not feel comfortable doing business with her company. Thank God I dodged that bullet!!! I still do not feel good about them having all of my personal information and I will be turning them into the bbb as per my attorney s advice.
Right off the get go, we got started on the wrong foot. After being hospitalized for 5 days that very evening I got home....My car was getting towed. I was not even 2 months behind, and I had the money to pay the bill right then. And I was suppose to be recovering Dr's orders. It was a nightmare. Then I did not get the car back until the following week. It was a cat and mouse game for sure. Then come to find out you are charged interest daily according to your credit score. Which one do they use, Trans Union ect.
Have they worked with me since then. Yes they have. My point is---do your research first. Read the fine print even though who understands that jargon. I still have many questions unanswered that I would love to get resolved.
This company is horrible, they are giving no assistance during this COVID-19 pandemic. People have lost their jobs and unemployment doesn't even pay most people's rent. Every other one of my creditors has deferred until May or June.

This is the worst loan company I've ever dealt with. The representative and supervisor did not set up and arrangement as I requested. I received calls every morning and worked nights. The only thing they did was change my number when I stated it was an alternate number. The company reposted my car in February over 15$ not being paid I'm December. I am considering having a lawyer look at my loan as well as my interactions BC my loan has increase not decreases since I had it started almost a year ago.

Received a loan from Wilshire about two months ago and being ON TIME (early) on my payments to help raise my credit score i become appreciated by being woken up to them Reposing my car after not once being late on my payments. People with the tow truck were extremely verbally aggressive demanding my keys and shoving me saying i could not get anything out of my car until i handed over my keys which i was not going to do so. As soon as i decided to call the police they both ran to there truck and drive off with my car not allowing me to get any of my personal items from my car. Glad i have everything recorded on under my surveillance cameras. Now to deal with all this non sense without a vehicle. I will be filing a lawsuit.
I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Not only do they violate the TRUTH IN LEN DING ACT OF 1968, but there customer service is HORRIBLE. I had an employee and manager both cursing at me for an error that they made and I was simply letting them know that they were in the wrong. I normally don't write reviews but felt I would be doing the public an injustice to not warn the people. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with so far. I was making timely payments monthly and yesterday when I went to check my credit score saw that Wilshire credit had closed my account and claimed that my vehicle was repossessed. I called them immediately and was transferred and hung up on three different times and spent a total of two hours on the phone trying to get an explanation. I personally feel that one of the employees took my personal info such as social, and other private information and used it to open their own account because the information they gave me is making no sense whatsoever. I talked to a supervisor named Richard who gave me such a difficult time and for some reason he kept telling me he was going to give me the number for identity theft, and it actually took him twenty minutes to even give it to me. He kept trying to dissuade me from calling them and it was such a terrible terrible experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone and if you feel like your account and personal information has been compromised call the identity theft line right away as I believe that someone from their company is illegally using customer information
After reading all these reviews, it has left me with awe in what I already speculated about WCC. How can a company request you to go down and put your title in their possession without you viewing the contract terms. That sent red flags all over this company reputation in my mind and then, I said, "Let me do a deeper search and go along with them and see just who they represent", and I do not like what I hear and see in my emails. Anyway, Nathan gave me the terms and asked me to sign to get the ball rolling and he sent me to a loan specialist by the name Marquis and he gave me the run around. So, I did not call for about 2 days and I received a call from Henry and he was trying to get me to do the loan again with the same terms and even told me to go to DMV express and he would send his notary to pick up the title and hand over the check and nothing happened after that. I figured they were trying to get possession of my title without sending me the money because that is rather suspicious and I never heard of such a thing. Yeah, I agree---these people and the company they run sounds like crooks big time. Thanks God I was not desperate for money only to make a stupid mistake and end up without my ride. Wilshire Consumer Credit is the worst company that I have ever had to deal with. I had a loan with them, and was paying $14 extra per month just to pay off the loan faster. In November I ran into some health issues and was $16 short on my payment. WCC started calling me 10-15 times a day, including Sunday. I spoke with them and informed them of the situation and that I would be paying off the loan. I got the information on the pay off and a check was sent out 12/10. They received and cashed the check on 12/18 then on 12/19 they repossessed my vehicle. Every customer service rep I spoke with was extremely rude and several hung up on me. They refused to give me any information on where my car was even just so that I could get my work badge and kids Christmas presents. Even though they repoed the car illegality, they refused to return my vehicle or my money. After fighting with them for days, missing work and my son missing school, I was left with no other option than to pay the repo. I sent them the payment of $430 in the form they required and after they confirmed that they have received it, they said they didn t have any info in my vehicle and to call back Monday. I work weekends and this is the last weekend before Xmas!!!! They are crooks and have no sense of company/consumer relations.

BEWARE!!!!! This company is so sneaky and a rip off. This was the same company that helped me finance my car from the dealership just a different name Westlake/Wiltshire I paid off my loan from dealership with a couple late payments in the two year span and when I got a car title loan through them it was extremely high interest rate. I was 34 days late on a second payment during the car title loan period(the first was 45-50 days late). I told them I was going to pay the full amount of loan the following day on the phone. That night they came and repossessed the truck charging me over 1500 to get it out so I was no longer able to pay off balance. They didn t repossess after 45-50 days late but when I tell them I am paying it off they do?!!! Pretty shady. After that I was very upset and told them I wasn t going to pay until they agreed to give credit for repossession fees which they never did so I never paid. They came and repossessed again and gave me no credit for the truck towards the remaining balance which was more BS so I have been stuck with a negative credit report for there improper handling of business. Also found out they were sued for this same reason and had to payout settlements. Horrible company don t use!!!

This company needs to be shut down, they reported myself and my fiance to the credit bureau for $58 by "mistake" according to them after the loan was paid in full 2 months prior, if fact we over paid as we were instructed as to cover any "additional fees" and we were credited back with a check...then when we called to ask them why they said that we needed to send a letter to the credit bureau to ask them to remove the mistake...WHAT!! this company also repoed my fiances car and then sent a letter 2 days after saying that they were going to repo the car as an attempt to get the payment...after it was towed from her office in front of her coworkers...when they came to get the car she called and said that we would pay for it right then and there but they refused. Horrible experience!! We should have never used this company but we were in a pinch at that time and we did...lesson learned. Beware of this company and the people that they employ a company with the ability to report you to the credit bureau needs to be held to a higher standard...shame on Wilshire Consumer Credit BEWARE.
Very crooked people i ever did business with and lies about everything made all my payments and owe them 3,975.00. I borrowed $ 4,195.00 @ 282.88 payments for. 44 months on 6/14/2017 was my last payment i thought only to find out i now owe $ 3,975.00 in this one payment how what is going on couldn't find any one that could help me lost my car for which i payoff in 2005 now gone over a titled loan i feel sick every day now.

This company is a modern day loan shark. They charge high interest, administration fees and poor customer service My balance showed 0, yet they sent me a letter threatening to repo my vehicle, for administration fees. They said I still owed another $560. I repeatedly asked for an amortization and to date, I still haven't received one. They once repo my truck, I had the money the same day, however, I had to wait a week to get my car back. ABSURD!! This company needs to be dissolved. I would not recommend this Wilshire Consumer Credit for a loan, even in dire emergency!!!!

Stay away, they don't tell you that they will hide an administrative fee of over 500.00 in your contract if you pay the loan off early. You would think with the amount of money they are already making off of you they wouldn't use these types of tactics. Be very carefule when you get any paper work form them

Got a loan through them without ever meeting anyone physically, After paying it off they said oh you owe us $4,000 dollars and after making a deal with them to pay $2500 of that disagreed amount they came to get my truck thats been broke down for 2 years now hahahaha! To top it all off the truck is only worth $1000 maybe. This company would never work with me on anything while I was deployed and was allways rude on the phone, I honistly think whoever I initially worked with on this hoke situation did it illegally becuase we never met or anything it was all done over the phone and they never even came to see if I actually even had a truck.

My experience with Wilshire was actually not all that bad. I thought the reps was really polite and was able to answer my questions. However I cannot say that there wasnt some errors and mistakes on their end. I was given the wrong numbers for my money gram, which I thought wasnt very professional. I was also told by another rep that I spoke with that she could have my interest go down and I would also get an extra $100 but that never happened so can I say that they stand by their words I would say from my experience no but I think I would still recommend them to any of my friends and family only based on their customer care service.

If I could rate these criminals -5 I would. I was in a bind and needed to pay my mortgage after a serious injury and 4 months in the hospital, so I used the these predators.
First off, every single other financial institution on the planet is offering some sort of relief for COVID situation, mostly tacking on a few payments on to the end of the loan with no interest or fees, but not these loan sharks. Pay it or we repossess.
Secondly, you need to realize that when you get a title loan from these opportunistic lowlifes. Once they have your title, they intend to get possession of your vehicle regardless of circumstance, because once they have the car, they will resell it to another poor sap who they ve predicted will default, repo it and sue for twice the value of the amount originally borrowed along with repo fees, penalties and court costs, then repeat the cycle. They potentially make 3-4 times the value of the car.
This is the epitome of low life corporate greed that preys on the most vulnerable, while padding their bank accounts with blood money.

I recently had a bad accident and I could not make my payment. I was more than 30 days behind. I called and was lucky to talk to Jairus to try to come up with some kind of plan. He was able to help me extend my payments. He made the process so easy. He treated me with respect and didn t make me feel ashamed. To be honest he s been the first person there that I have talked to that didn t make me feel bad. I really can t say enough how much I appreciate him. I wish all of the employees were like him! I paid off this loan in full and i received my pink slip after i paid 4 times what i borrowed...then i get a bill for 470 dollars. I have called them 6 times and every time they tell me to call back that a manager is reviewing this lol wow...they also put it on my credit report...i cant believe how corrupt this company is...dont do a loan with them...they rip you off then after you pay them they still try to charge you money!

My family member has had there car repossessed from your horrible company. They ve called multiple times to set up a payment arrangement and even get there stuff from the vehicle the same day. The representative and supervisor laughed at them along with gave no options. My only option is to personally sue or take this all the way to corporate along with hold the supervisor liable and have the police department called and report them for theft as it s against the law to withhold the information of the agency along with there contact information and say it hasn t been processed still and they don t know who took it then I will sue and send my complaint to the BBB as you can t withhold property and give payment options as well. I give you until 830 am to reach out to me or expect the police making multiple arrests along with the BBB and FTC and every website I can submit my complaint along with a lawsuit unless there is an amount of $1,000 paid towards the loan along with the car back the same day or my lawyer will be there with the paperwork by 9 am.

This company has been very nice to me. My Soc. Security benefit was stopped and they worked with me to get my payments in. They also changed my payment due date so that I would have more time to pay and if I was not going to be able to pay on that day, they just asked that I call so we can work something else out.
