As my family has been good customer to Weber Chevrolet, this has been the worst experience I/we have ever had. I have had nothing but problems since day one. First I am to blame for viewing the courteous staff as friends and not as salesmen. I was looking at getting an Equinox and I set up an appointment to look and test drive, and yet they didn t have anything ready; finally as we found one to test drive, it wasn t cleaned, had a bad smell and can tell it has been sitting there for a while. Well the sale person insisted I look at a 2019 Trax. And granted, I do like the Trax but again it wasn t really what I wanted. And it is a big difference in size as anyone can tell. The sale person didn t even try to look for another Equinox for me, which I know there was more out there. They insisted at the same price I would be paying for the used Equinox I wanted, I would be getting a better deal with the Trax. But I still wanted the Equinox. They still kept pushing the 2019 Trax on me. So I settled on that car (still not what I really what) I asked if we could look at a LT Trax at least but they insisted I really couldn t afford the upgrade. But yet the car I had was fully loaded with way more than the Trax now. As we are discussing everything they did not want to give me what I wanted for my trade in which I was ready to negotiate. I know what my car was worth and it was way more than what they wanted to give me and I even had money to put down and my credit was fair. So while trying to get a bank to carry my loan it got late and they let me take the Trax over the weekend. Come Monday, they had a bank and everything set up for me to buy the car. Here is where I should have said NO. They finally gave me more for my trade in (okay) then I asked about the LT, but they already had everything calculated for just the standard which asking about the LT again made it seemed as it was putting them out and it wasn t even the same sales person I started with, so he didn t have a clue what was going on. Again I should have said NO thank you at this point. But I trusted the sales person since we have done business with you in the past and went with sale. As I am still figuring out more with the STANDARD TRAX, I realized there was no satellite radio or no cruise control which I thought that was standard options for new cars. But wait there is more. A few days later I get a call, and they informed me that they had put my father down on all the paper work which I specifically stated he was to be removed. Made it look like he was buying the car. And for that mistake I had to come back to Granite City and resign everything under my name. So the question is and I really hope not, did they run everything under his name. Another issue is a month has gone by and I have already gotten a notice of a recall on this car, then another month goes by and the bank I have my loan thru tells me they have a bad social security number. So yet again, about 3-4 months into having this car I have another problem I have to take my time and time away from my job to take care of this mistake. To me they were more worried about that commission they would be making and getting rid of the car, then satisfying the customer.
Clean and friendly place, I have used them a couple of times for my service needs and they've always taken good care of me. I really appreciated that even though I had to drop the car off on short notice they were able to take it in and look at it and give me a loaner so I could get to work
Timely repair and did what they said they could do. Polite with a can do attitude. Overall experience at Weber I have been very pleased. Thank you!
We drove nearly 6 hours to purchase our vehicle from Wade. Couldn't have asked for better service, prices, or ease of the deal. He beat prices within a 500 mile radius. Zac completed all of our paperwork very quickly so we could be on our way. We will be back to purchase another vehicle in the future.

Jason Haug - is great!!! I have been shopping around for a vehicle for several months and found a few cars we liked however the sales people became very pushy and wanted to close the deal then and there. The staff at Weber worked with us on getting our vehicle when we were looking to buy one. The staff in the sales department were very courteous and helpful. If we had any questions they were all answered. The service department is excellent in what they do. We have had to have service work done : new battery replacement ,oil changes. They did the work that had to be done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Why didn t I look here first? I m the typical guy who despises shopping and need the path of least resistance. Unfortunately I m also married and was forced to go into multiple dealerships to get the runaround. This was all before we decided to go into Weber Chevrolet in Granite City. Sales consultant Matt Yarbrough made everything so easy and was more than fair. You know that feeling leaving the lot and thinking maybe you ve been taken advantage of? Well, the feeling was kind of the opposite. Matt did everything he could to give me the best deal possible and I can not recommend him enough. I appreciate how honest and reliable the folks at Weber Chevrolet are and getting me into my new vehicle.

my oil light came on in my car and I was at 5% I called Weber at once and was told that they could not take my car in till May 11th that was 7 days away. I was going out of town on May 7th and I had to have it done. She said let me talk to someone and she came back and asked if I could be there at 2:15 the same day I said yes I would be there. I never go anyplace else to have my car serviced and never will. I bought my car at Weber and I feel that they take care of my car. I love Weber Chev. They are just great

Had a appointment and they didnt start until the next day i missed two days of work cause of this and then when I was called that it was done I got there and got my paper work walked out to my car to leave and could see the service I was in for wasnt done. Im not sure why I wasnt informed there were some things not done over the phone or when I got my paperwork and keys.They didnt install my radio was the third time in to be fixed for that and they didnt fix my rail dust problem second time in for that. Very unhappy with the service here on my new truck.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE; FALSE ADVERTISING; NO RESPECT FOR A HARD EARNED DOLLAR! on Thursday 6/11/20 @ 2pm! We walked in with $40,000 in hand and left with nothing because the manger was joy riding in the vehicle we made an appointment to see. Yes, so pre-approved the bank is giving us suggestions on where to go. If I could give a zero I would. On TUESDAY 6/9/20, MICHEAL ALLEN made an appointment for us to meet with JIM MCKECHAN today at 2pm. We arrive on time and JIM is nowhere to be found apparently neither is the vehicle we made the appointment to see. Some guy who never introduced himself said he could bring around a similar vehicle because the vehicle we asked for was with the manager. It was advertised as having 10 miles but we were informed that managers get a demo and they usually take the best cars out. What is that even? So now there are definitely way more than 10 miles on this vehicle now. Then the guy says we can get the car in morning or tomorrow some time. When I spend $40,000 I should be able to drive off in the car of my choice in that price range especially if I had an appointment to buy it 2 days prior! But because the manager decided to flex a privilege we drove all the way to another state FOR NOTHING!!! I will be informing our bank of this so that they are cautious of any future business with these people.

This was my absolute worst experience that I have ever had at a car dealership in my life. First off, I went to the dealership for an oil change, tire rotation and to replace a cover that had broken off (after one month of use) for one of my charging ports in the center console. Upon arrival I also mentioned that my truck had a vibration around 70 mph and got increasingly worse as the speed increased. Because I have brought this issue to the dealerships attention multiple times (and they told me it did not exist) they asked if I would ride with a service technician to verify the vibration. Following the test ride the service technician CONFIRMED that I had a vibration. Once we got back to the dealership the service tech referred me to Justin Brown a service representative. He then proceeded to tell me that they would have my vehicle looked at immediately and fixed as soon as possible. Over three days later (after about 15 phone calls to the dealership) they finally got back to me. Believe it or not every time I would call they would tell me that Justin just stepped away from his desk and then I would be disconnected. I am not exaggerating that it took me 15 phone calls before I was able to get the status of my vehicle. Not to my surprise, they told me that they had not even looked at my vehicle yet. This was extremely disturbing considering my appointment was for three days prior at 8 AM. Finally after telling him I would not let them keep my truck over the weekend they agreed to do the oil change and tire rotation and I would have to return for the vibration and center console fix. I agreed to this as I needed the vehicle back for the weekend. Once I came back on Monday they took the vehicle in at 8 AM. I did not hear back from the dealership for 48 hours straight. Then on the third day I attempted to reach out to them with no avail yet again. I got the same run around about not being at his desk and then once I did talk to him he transferred me to his service manager Kevin whom I left three different voice mails and did not hear back. Finally after four or five more phone calls I actually get connected with Kevin. He proceeds to tell me that the vibration is not intense enough to be fixed, that the technicians drove my truck more than 90 miles and they could not get the vibration to be intense enough for them to be able to be reimbursed by GM for fixing it. This is absolutely unacceptable. I tried to reason that my family have been loyal to this particular dealership and to GM for many years and that they are betraying a loyal customer. This did not seem to phase them whatsoever and they kept reiterating that they could not help me. They told me that they identified that there was a problem but were not going to do anything to fix it, due to the constraints that GM has put on the vibration. So now the situation that I am in is as follows: I have paid over 50K for a vehicle that vibrates on the highway (which I drive on every day), GM has recognized that there is a problem and will not fix it (thankfully I bought the extened warranty that does me absolutely no good), and finally I purchase a GM product and am completely unsatisfied with both the product and the service that I have received by the dealership. I would ask this question of GM and Weber Chevrolet (Granite City, IL): How can you expect working class individuals to put their trust in your products and service if this is the type of interaction and experience they have? Is it really worth the loss of a family of loyal customers over what could be a minimal cost fix? I cannot describe in words the disappointment that I feel from this experience and I hope that in the future other people are not treated with the same manner of negligence and disregard.
Bought a New Tahoe this weekend from KJ (Kevin Jones) he was by far the best sales person ever! He made everything so smooth, we showed up Saturday morning and the Tahoe was ready and finance was ready for us. This was a great dealership to work with. My experience is service related. If this was when I bought my car, this would be a five star review. The buying experience I had months ago was flawless and very positive. I brought my car in for it's first maintenance checkup, oil change and tire rotation. Not a big deal. But then when I got my car back, it sounded different, but I figured it was just me, but then as I went to pick up my daughter just a short time later, the car really started acting strange. It was losing power big time, would not accelerate, the check engine light came on and really made me panic. It happened on a very busy street in town which made me even more worried. This is a 2013 Sonic. So I got home and called the service department back. I couldn't get through to anyone so I had to leave a VM. I also emailed the service manager expressing my concern. Instead of waiting for a call back, I needed to get the car back to service before they closed at 6pm. So I checked it back in with them and got a rental, which was very helpful considering I work in Clayton, MO. The next day I get a call back, and they were very nice and apologetic. The issue was that whoever worked on my Sonic did not put the oil cap back on securely and that was the cause of all the problems in my car. I work in the biggest IT service-based company in the St. Louis area, and we have to be very attentive to details, no matter how small or big they are. I understand we all get busy and we are trying to be as efficient as possible, but something like this could have easily been avoided, especially when this happened with my 5 year old daughter in the car. What if the mistake resulted in something worse happening? I do appreciate that they cleaned up my car inside and out to make up for the error, which is why I am giving my service experience two stars instead of one. This isn't an "I'm never coming back" message as I will return to the dealership for it's regular maintenance for this vehicle. I will just have to inspect it more carefully before I drive it off the service lot, and this is also a head's up for the general public.

I recently had to take my Chevrolet Sonic to get worked on. I chose this location because it had the highest rating in my area; i was not disappointed. From the moment I drove up the employees were friendly and made sure you were taken care of. The man who helped me knew what was wrong before I opened my door and he was not even the one servicing my car just handling the paperwork. My car was taken care of beautifully and in a timely manner (same day) and I could not be happier with the care and customer service at this location. I will return here the next time my car needs servicing. THANK YOU!

I have been looking for an SUV to replace the one I have. I had been to another local dealer and really had an awful experience. I found a white Chevy Equinox on Weber's website and knew that was the vehicle I wanted. I filled in the form on the website and soon had an email from Brandon Rae. He was very friendly and professional. I told him exactly what I wanted and told him I would be in around 4:30. In the meantime, Brandon had his assistant Ryana Spencer reach out to me, she was very nice and super helpful with any questions I had. My husband and I went in, met Brandon, he already had the SUV pulled up and waiting for us. We took it for a test drive and while we were gone, they went through the trade in. When we got back, everything was quick and painless. Brandon asked me where I needed to be to make it work, I told him and like that, it was done. Brandon then passed us on to Chris Kavadas. I told Chris that I already had the financing being done through my bank. Instead of making us go to the bank the next day to close, Chris made up all of the paperwork they needed, let me take the Equinox home and then today, Brandon drove all of the paperwork to me to sign. This little bit of going above and beyond both helped me and really impressed me. I didn't have to take off work! Overall, I am really happy with my experience with George Weber Chevrolet. I have no complaints at all.

As always, Weber Chevrolet in Granite City and Kevin Jones in particular, make a major moment like purchasing a new vehicle, easy and painless. We just purchased our 2nd vehicle from Kevin, a Traverse, and we have shopped around, but both times he gave us a deal that simply could not be beat.
Bart was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and worked in our best interest! He came right out to greet us as soon as we walked in, gave us space to look around and make desicions. Very patient with us as we were undecided on what we wanted and wanted to do as far as purchasing a vehicle. Couldn't have had a better sales man! Definitely go see him! He helped us buy not only a great car but within a price range that was comfortable for us!
I'm not happy with the service!!!! I just got a 2014 Chevy Malibu and it has stopped on me twice. This month will make it three months since I got the car. I took the car back once they said everything was fixed. A week later it did the same thing. I have missed two days of work because of this problem. They gave me a car to drive while my car is being fixed. But, the car had zero gas in it!!! They have had my car for three days. I called the service manager twice yesterday he called back. He told me it was the core to my battery. I called him again today three times!!! No one has returned my calls. I'm starting to believe maybe they don't know what's wrong with my car. So now I have to pay for a car that doesn't run like I thought. I would've kept my other car if I known this was going to happen!!! I'm so upset and frustrated about the service I have received. It's only been three months and I'm already having issues.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! The service team charged me a diagnostic fee when I knew what was wrong when I went in. I have an extended warranty and they treated me as if I was behind in payments. Then, on top of it all, they attempted to make me believe things were wrong with my vehicle that I know were not wrong just to get more money. I would never recommend this company and although they said I was family, THEY DID NOT TREAT ME THAT WAY!!!!

My problem wasn't the vehicle I got, but the service I received. I went to purchase a used vehicle and was supposed to meet with the salesman at 11:00. When we arrived at 11:00 the salesman decided to go to lunch. So instead we worked with Mike Hartsoe, who was pretty good to us. So he got us approved for the loan and after that we went to Zac Copeland. He said we had to pay a $500 down payment so we got the cash and gave it to him. It was really weird that he put the cash in his pocket but I understand that might be the way things are done there. We signed the paperwork and were on our way. Two months later I get a call from Bart, and he states that I did not actually pay the down payment and it is still owed. He started pressuring me to give him my debit card number over the phone and was rushing me and I didn't get a chance to think if I actually paid it or not. If I didn't stop for a second I could have been tricked into paying an extra $500. Luckily I remembered I did and even had a copy of the contract that showed I already paid the down payment. So after arguing and Bart insisting we pay another down payment, the situation was resolved. If your employees didn't put the money in their pockets maybe there would not be any confusion of this type.
Very happy with my sales person, Will Parker. He was very friendly and covid conscious. He made sure I was taken care of with all I wanted as far as the vehicles I was looking for. Weber Chevrolet really surpassed my expectation. This time.
Just bought a 2019 Chevrolet Cruz Hatchback at Weber Chevrolet in Granite City. Brain "B.J." Raymond went above and beyond my expectations as a salesman to make sure a got a great car at a great price. I was treated with respect and and would highly recommend going to see B.J. if you are shopping for a new car.
Overall things were great but I didn t get a recommended service that I agreed to. I can only assume the service advisor didn t hear me. He recommended two services but only one was performed.

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for yesterday at 11:30 a.m. & was called the day before the appointment with a notification to appear at 11:30 a.m.
When i arrive I was told my appointment wasn't correctly recorded & my car couldn't be serviced due to 4 days of back up service that hasn't been done & if i was to recieve any service i would be on a 4 day waiting list Mark H. then suggested that i could leave my car and recieve a loaner car free of charge for the inconvenience i argued that my appointment was made and I was told I would receive service on the date i arrived for scheduled repairs he then replied by stating he would move me to the front of the line to receive a diagnostic testing in which i agreed in hopes of accomplishing something he told me i could reschedule next thursday for repaires so i then parked my vehicle in the Service Garage for immediate testing & he told me to return at 3:30 p.m. for payment and briefing
I returned around the agreed time and spoke to Mark H. once again he then stated no progress was made what so ever that my car still had not received any servicing due to back up with other clients i could no longer be seen the following week & that I could no longer receive a loaner car in replace for leave mine for future repairs (leaving it was now out of the question) that i would have to wait until January 27 of next month and it wouldn't be a promise even if i waited

My visit this was the worst. I usually bring in my SUV and get a oil change and I get a car to go shopping while my I get oil change done. Because I don't like to see and wait. It take about hour or hour half. But this time they do my oil change when I drop it off and other car. When I came back they since I got car they thought I use all day. I never do that as long as I have coming there. It was already a bad day with the down pour of the rain. So Justin offer to bring my to me with a full tank of gas,but that nice but it done right first it would not in convenient me or the guy that brought my SUV to me. Kevin Jones does a very good job at making his customers are happy. And normally I don't have a problem or complain but I was very unhappy. I will continue coming back as long as this don't again. We were hesitant to shop at such a large dealership, since we have always bought from our local and smaller dealers. Weber Chevrolet had so much more inventory to pick from. Sales man was terrible. We were a long time customer.... 10 trucks in 15 years. Not anymore. He was more worried about his paycheck than a valued customer.
When I was there a couple of weeks ago, I asked for an oil change and tire rotation, no one telling me that the price went up before hand. Then when my son went to pay, it was something like $69. He didn't know any better and when I looked at the bill, I noticed I was charged for an extra $8.88 and something else for (5)3.55 whatever that was. No one asked my son if they could change a filter, etc. I think I should have been asked before they did anything. Plus, I see a scrap on the back of the pull down door in the back. It's like someone scraped something over it. I was going to call today and let someone know about this. I have always gotten my service done with Weber, but now I am going to have to think about it.

I have purchased 4 new vehicles from Weber Chevrolet in Granite City, that's why it hurt my heart to see how bad the finance people stuck it to me, I am to blame for viewing the courteous staff as friends and not as salesmen, when the bank that financed my loan told me the dealership added every unnecessary insurance they could find on my loan, it really made me feel stupid.
