The initial intake was good but the communication throughout the time my vehicle was there was subpar. I had to call to find out what the status was on my vehicle before the representative called me back. I was told it would be ready Friday - and that day came and went with NO CALL. Monday came and they called me at 3pm in the afternoon to say it was ready to go. I showed up at 5:00 to pick up my car and there was nothing but confusion. My keys were not with the final ticket, the mechanical write up was not completed and then the rep asked me "Do you know how much you are supposed to pay?" They had to call the extended warranty company again, call Timothy (original rep) and find my keys which took about 20-30 minutes. Then they explained that all of the repairs were completed including my auxillary port - and it WAS NOT. After I was told at least 3 separate times that had been fixed and was working properly.

And you would think after having my vehicle for a week they might have vacuumed at minimum the driver side - no. So, I left with my main reason for coming not fixed, no mechanical write up completed and frustrated. This was honestly the worst experienced I have had since coming to this dealership and I honestly am not sure if I will return to have the auxillary port fixed.

Poor communication, all mechanical problems not resolved and to make matters worse I had to call back a week later to request the write up as I keep detailed reports when the extended warranty is used. And it still was 3 days later that they sent the write up via email.

I'm not sure what changes have occurred at this location but I'm not pleased with them.

UPDATE: Timothy called me to discuss my experience and promptly scheduled a time to personally come and pick my vehicle up to address my concerns. He apologized on behalf of the GMC dealership and I was very impressed that he took ownership because he was NOT entirely to blame. They were able to get my radio/auxillary issue resolved the same day and made sure that it was no inconvenience to me. Thanks Gainesville GMC & Timothy as we really do trust bringing our family of vehicles to this dealership.
