I wonder if they also grant interest because they withheld some money for which they did not offer any service. I dislike their misleading Vola rambursabil ad. The company advertises 90% of cost being recovered within maximum 30 days. None of this is true; the insurance company they work with, Axa Insurance, takes 30 days, by contract (which the client receives from Vola after already having paid the service to Vola and the insurance premium) just to offer a resolution on the claim. Thus the timing is significantly longer. Also, the insurance company processes the payment from abroad, in euro, which poses significant additional charges on the customer (they impose this cost of international money wiring on the client, deducting it from the amount to be reimbursed), thus the amount of 90% of the ticket reimbursed is not true.

I also complied after a terrible route (17 hours in Bucharest) + countless attempts to park in an area where the snow mountains dominated the streets, I came in front of a totally superior employee as attitude and lack of professionalism. I was informed, in an almost aggressive tone, that the reservation is no longer valid and I have to pay an amount more than 20 percent higher.

For reasons included in the insurance (death of a relative of the first fence) I canceled the trip. I opened a file, but the insurer cannot handle it because VOLA does not answer messages, phone calls, etc. Moreover, the return flight date has been changed and the corresponding amount should have been returned. I have bought a ticket from them and paid extra for a Vola Refundable Insurance, which was the biggest scam ever. The person travelling had to leave early, so I contacted the company. They told me that I need to contact the insurance company ( thing that was not clearly stated when acquiring the insurance). The ticket is only refundable in case of death, serious illness, etc. and you need to provide documents to prove the incident took place. So an unexpected travel before the date of the ticket isn't included in that.

Avoid at all costs, there are better companies out there that aren't more expensive than them.
