Why Book with Vacations to Go and Not Direct with the Cruise Lines?..Let me tell you Why! Hi I just wanted to put my two cents in on Vacations To Go. I have worked with this company for years and many cruises. They helped me get my two kids through the high school and college years with safe fun vacations. I have set up cruises with them for groups and just the weekend getaway cruise. I have much respect for this Company. My Children are now grown but still come to me to set up vacations. I booked my daughter and her boyfriend on a Norwegian cruise with Vacations to Go out of Tampa last year. I picked this cruise for great deals they were offering with the drink package. Both just out of college and on limited funds were tickled with the deal. Norwegian for some reason during the Month of March decided not to honor the drink package they offered to anyone under 25 years of age. This was all hidden in the fine print on the disclaimer form. My daughter was upset to say the least. I contacted Vacations to Go, they got right on it and told me yes it was true. After making it clear this should have been disclosed at the time we booked they agreed. They VACATIONS TO GO put $500. in my daughters ship account and said they would make sure everyone under 25 knew this March Madness rule of Norwegians. My daughter and her boyfriend drank less and had some nice shore excursions, thanks all to Vacations to Go! This is why you still need the Professionals! Annette Delaney Schellbach

we have been to many ocean and river cruises,most of them arranged by vacationstogo.we are 77 and 76 of age and very experienced also in renting cars and moving around in many countries-we also speak many languages.however,we prefer now to cruise than to drive.instead of moving from hotel to hotel,driving through cities and open countrysides concentrating on driving rather than enjoying the urban and natural beauty.-cruising takes all the burden off our shoulders.and enable us to devote more time preparing and studying the places we will visit during the cruise.we consider cruise ships as a moving school full of fun,information,confort and culinary experiences.

Vacations to Go is the best. I used them to arrange our first cruise with my wife and I. They definitely have the best prices - I monitored prices for nearly a year. My cruise counselor was terrific. He answered all my questions immediately, threw in some helpful ideas of his own and was very attentive and engaging. I am using and will definitely used Vacations to Go again!

I have used VTG on my past four cruises in the last three years, with two future scheduled in the next year. VTG has counselors that never seem to sleep and usually answer any question I pose within minutes. Their deals are the best in the industry, with cooperation from the best cruise lines. I look forward to my next cruises and have signed-up for their "all inclusive" vacation packages as well. There is no conceivable alternative to a job well done!

We have just returned from our 2nd cruise booked via VTG and have already booked our next one with them! We have found the prices and special promotions offered are very competitive and the service we have received from Donald Purcell has been excellent. He is always very knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. All 3 of our bookings have run smoothly and each cruise has been a great success with very favourable cabins.

Booked a cruise on Costa Cruises for our 20th anniversary. Due to COVID we cancelled on March 2nd...the cruise line charged a 25% penalty of 599.00 which I am trying to dispute because the cruise was ultimately cancelled; however is is now July 4th and i have NOT received my original refund of over 1900 and they have not helped me at all..they just told me to call Costa directly...I feel they should help me get ALL of my money back since I paid it to them...They just keep eithet telking me to keep waiting or they ignore me

I booked a cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas through VTG. I got a better deal going through VTG than through the cruise line for the rooms (we booked 2 rooms for a family of 5), and we got around $400 in credit aboard the ship. It's a pleasure working with VTG - they really know how to provide excellent customer service!

After the Embarkation experience, the Cruise was very nice.
Embarkation was terrible. Although Oceania made the airline reservations and knew when we and many others would arrive, the Ship was totally unprepared to get us aboard.
The Ship (Nautica) was very nice. Food was terrific everywhere. Hotel Staff were gracious, friendly and helpful all the time.
Ship's tours varied in quality. Mostly because tour guides were just not very good (limited knowledge in some cases). Strongly recommend hiring your own guides. We used SPB in St Petersburg and the guide was fantastic.
Disembarkation was pretty well organized and went well.

We booked a Viking River Cruise with Star Thomas from Vacations To Go. This was our second booking with VTG and Star. We are treated with respect and the booking goes easily and efficiently. We have never had an issue and have recommended them to many. Whatever discounts we could find on our own, VTG gave us those as well as additional discounts. If you want a smooth booking procedure, go with Vacations To Go.

Vacations to Go phone reps are superbly trained. Friendly, efficient, well-informed and always ready to find out what they are not sure of. Their service has made us loyal customers. The cabin credits are a welcome added bonus. My personal favorite is the advanced search. When daydreaming about a cruise, the search helps me discover what I want by showing me the possibilities in so many useful ways.

I had a very bad experience with one of the representatives whose name is Lora because of his bad treatment of the client, little collaboration and indisposition, his lack of professionalism is notorious !!! Although 9 packages were bought by Mr. Dr Lora at the time that 3 of the partners wanted to make a change, he attended them rudely and not happy with his performance charged them a penalty that ended with the voluntary cancellation by my colleagues !! I was surprised when I called vacation to go and asked to speak with the supervisor Mr. Jose Rodrigues, who did nothing to try to amend the bad time of which my companions were victims! I will never have any contact with this company again and I hope that the directives do something about it ...

This was our first time booking through Vacations to Go. We booked a cruise out of Australia to New Zealand with Royal Caribbean. Have to say it couldn't have been easier! We had a great experience dealing with Clinton, he was very helpful, courteous and replied straight away to any queries.We had been looking at the great deals on Vacations to Go for a long time and we are so glad we booked with them. My family and I just got back from the 7 days of Alaska cruise departed from Seatlte and we booked our family cruise with the Vacation to go. This was our second time to book with Vacation to go and they did a wonderful job. We received a $100 on board credit in our cabin from Vacation to go. Vacatione to Go helped us booked a wonderful Interior cabin for 3 people and it was in the middle of the ship at the Jewel of the Sea with Royal Carribean Cruise. We greatly enjoyed our cabin as it was very spacious for 3 people. Not only does Vacations to Go always have terrific prices, their service is as good as it gets. We have been dealing with Mickey Milheim for a few years now and he is what customer service used to be, efficient, knowledgeable, and personal.

When we took our first Princess cruise we looked at the Vacations to Go website and were not familiar with them, so we called the cruise line itself and asked. They highly recommended Vacation to Go and said they had never had a problem. You can't get a better recommendation than that.

Tried to book a cruise, after viewing the promotions on the web site. They tried to upsell the package and when we finally got through all of that, the promotion had expired. If you call again, the promotion still exists and you go through the same circle again. Finally just went directly to the cruise company and they honored the deal.

Wonderful cruise to Alaska. Ryder Davis of Vacations To Go did another wonderful job handling our reservations. We have worked with Ryder for a number of years and he is always professional, but also neighborly. He has helped us with domestic and international cruises. He guides us through the maze of requirements and get everything set up, so when we leave for our travel, there are no delays. We will work with him again.

Vacations To Go provided excellent service for us planning and helping out with a flight change on our Mediterranean cruise.

I was able to get a good discount on our cruise. Plus the people I worked with were spectacular. They were very knowledgable and took care of everything for the cruise. All we had to do was show up and board. Billy was wonderful to work with. He took the time to answer all of my questions and responded back promptly.

We booked a cruise in the Mediterranean through Arhtur Morris a Vacations to Go agent. There were several contacts as extra people joined us and we booked three cabins for seven people in all.We had contacted a travel agent in our country but saved 2,500 euro by booking through Vacations to Go and got better standard cabins and OBC.

I am not too technologically competent with computers and the like, but I found dealing with VacationsToGo extremely easy, even from as far away as Spain. My adviser, Rod Munoz, was patience itself, and guided me carefully through booking two cruises "at one and the same time" (as we used to chant in Music Hall as two people graced the stage). After the booking was made, VacationsToGo carefully monitored our progress to ensure that nothing went wrong, and even arranged for a certain amount of On Board Credit - a nice surprise. We have been using the services of VTG over the past 5 years for all our river cruises and some landtours. Although we are thousands of miles away in Hong Kong, VTG through counsellor Chris Bounds has offered us excellent services and there was never a hiccup, from payment to communicating cruise or tour documentation. Chris was very attentive to details, anticipated possible logistic problems and advised and helped us solve these whenever they arose. The regular e-mails we receive from VTG are also informative very relevant to our travel planning and ensure we get excellent value for money.

Vacations to go is the worst company to deal with....they are a rip off. They lied and are untrustworthy....especially agent "Clifford Muller." My last time booking with them as they tell you one thing and then changes what they say after you pay. Will not encourage anyone to book with them...stay away from "Clifford Muller". He is bad for the company and is causing the company to lose money as he is not a man of his words. Will inform everyone on social media to stay away from "vacations to go". This is a Horrible company to have any connections with.

A friend referred me/us to VTG. I booked a 5-day cruise out of Tampa for my husband, myself and another couple. Our booking Agent was Seth Thibodeaux. Seth helped us secure Oceanview rooms near each other in the rear port of the boat (Carnival Paradise). We all were very pleased with our cabins, the ship and the overall cruise. The cost was more than reasonable at just a little over $1,200 for the cruise, travel insurance and daily tips. We all agreed that we would use VTG in the future!

We've used VTG many times and have had our friends join us through VTG. We got some nice cabin credits and good prices. Calvin Galvin is our agent and took good care of us. This cruise was RC Freedon of the seas. A great ship for first timers as it has everything, even an ice show. Evening shows were lots of fun and well performed. Dining room staff, Arty and Benja, were wonderful.

VTG helped me to book the cruise I wanted and added $100 ship board credit. I got my confirmation very quickly eventhough there was only a short time between booking and the departure date.

I took my first all inclusive vacation through Vacations To Go to Mexico - Mayan Riviera.
Not only was it a fabulous trip, but our agent did a tremendous job juggling 8 of us all coming from different places and paying separately. Everything went smoothly and was as easy as I've ever experienced w/ a vacation anywhere!

I have used Vacations To Go twice....both times I feel I got personalized service. Everything went exceptionally smooth. I spoke with other people on our recent cruise and a number of them go through Vacations To Go because, we all feel, they are the best.

Do not book excursions through them. It is a scam. The excursion left 45 mins after the ship arrived and it was impossible to get to the location as it was 10 mins outside the dock. The staff onsite had no alternatives other than "the excursion has left". I got a 40% refund after calling in but my advise is to either book it through your cruise line (so departure is guaranteed) or book it locally upon arrival. In the end we booked it locally for $150 for 5 people compared to $300 we had paid.

We booked a cruise through Vacations to Go on The Queen Elizabeth from Singapore to Dubai. Their agent/contact with us was Donald Parcell. The whole booking process from start to finish and the personal contact at all stages was excellent and flawless. Since then we have had a great holiday and would have no hesitation in using them again. Excellent service!!!

We have booked about 10 cruises with VTG.we used to take any cheap cabin as I consider cruising a roughing it trip. All the cabins on these ships are small and I live in a 3400sg. ft ranch.

As my wife is mobility impaired we have recently only been able to use a disabled accommodating room. Within a few dates VTG has always found us such a room.

It was a great cruise. Mostly calm seas, but lots of rain. Fortunately we do not get off the ship and stayed in the shade. Our exercise consisted in lifting a fork and a knife; and also a glass.

A cruise ship is a floating bar where they give you a place to sleep it off. Also nourishment which was excellent.

We did have problems with the newbee cabin boy. An apprentice who would not learn. Eventually I told the guy in charge that I would not let him in my cabin. The next cabin boy was not much better. We settled on free drinks for my wife and myself for the rest of the trip (3x4).

The food was excellent and the servers were efficient and pleasant. We only ate three meals a day. There was always food around.

Having been to some of these islands previously we did not get off the ship. When everyone was gone there was so much space, and chairs, and food.

We plan and have reservations for another cruise in March 16 on the same GEM..

Rita was amazing. We had such an amazing time on our 2nd Honeymoon. She even gave us a present when we arrived in the room.

I've gone through VTG for 6 cruises, and every one has been great. The representatives have been knowledgeable, and very helpful. I highly recommend them.

Recently, my wife and I took an Avalon cruise on the Rhine River with the arrangements made by River Smith of Vacations to Go. River helped us in the past so we knew that we could count on her to make sure the cruise arrangements were perfect and that we received all the discounts for which we were eligible. We recently booked a family trip to Nassau, Paradise Island at Harborside which is associated with Atlantis. Hurricane Joaquin was southeast of Nassau and not moving on the day we were to arrive. Through the efforts of Zander Beck and JB Barnes of Vacations to Go we were able to reschedule our flights and our hotel reservations for 2 days later. Our trip was wonderful! The weather was perfect and we totally enjoyed our entire time there. Thank you so much Vacations to Go and JB and Zander for all your help!

So I wanted to book a cruise through VTG. Called around 1140pm on a Tuesday. The representative was calm but clearly annoyed that I was asking ANYquestions at all including asking about other rooms available in other areas other than the one he came up with. Passive aggressively rude throughout the conversation. Very disappointed. Really wanted to like these guys. I guess I will go elsewhere.

They did us proud. Booked a Greek Island cruise from Royal Caribbean. Slight slip up on final payment due date. First they knew was when cancellation for non payment reached them. Before contacting us they went into high gear and got the booking reinstated at a discount!
And the cruise was fantastic.

We have used Vacations to Go twice now and have had excellent service both times. We booked a cruise to Alaska in 2011, and the arrangements were flawless. Most recently, we went to Hawaii (February 2015) and took the Norwegian inter-island cruise (Honolulu port). The prices were unbeatable - I did a lot of online research in attempt to get the best rate! Unfortunately, Norwegian canceled our originally booked dates - Lino Rances, our Vacations to Go agent, was extremely helpful, thorough, and made sure I was fully aware of all my choices while deciding when and how to re-book the cruise. He followed up to make sure I was satisfied, then called once more to make sure I had no more questions and received all the follow-up documentation I needed. I was impressed by the way he sympathized with my situation, since changing my vacation dates was admittedly stressful (as I had already made all the arrangements and requested time off). I highly recommend Vacations to Go to book cruises.

We just returned from a river cruise through Holland , Germany and rail to Paris. It was a wonderful trip, especially at this time of year when the leaves and vineyards were in spectacular color. The tour was organized well and we had to expend little effort to have a good time. The staterooms were very nice and the ship's staff made one feel welcome. Paris was a fun way to cap off a wonderful trip.

Our Vacation to go experience was great! Calvin (our travel agent) couldn't have done a better job. This was our 1st big trip we booked through a travel agent. Calvin walked us through the whole process, we had may questions as you could imagine and Calvin was always there to help. It didn't matter If it was a weekday night or the middle of the weekend. Calvin was there to answer them, and usually within an hour or two. We couldn't have been happier. We had the best vacation of our lives.

I picked Vacations To Go a couple of years ago to book our first cruise based on the reviews I read. I was very happy with the knowledge and service our agent Piper Sereni provided. She was able to answer all of questons and concerns and always responded quickly to our needs. We our planning our third cruise with VTG and Piper and have been completely satisfied each time.

This was the third time reserving with Vacations To Go. We always have great service, good deals and prompt responses with any questions. Our agent for our Mediterranean cruise, Joseph Orr, was superb. We were traveling with a group, and he addressed every concern and also had suggestions for us. We have been using Vacations to Go to book cruises for many years and have always been very happy with the service we have received and the fantastic prices for cruises. They often give additional on board credits over what the cruise line gives and this makes the real cost of the cruise even less than the posted price. New review post cruise: as you can see from the old review I was deeply disappointed about the Rome stop being on a Sunday when the Sistine Chapel was closed to the public (still note that if it s important to you.). In the end this was a blessing, vacations to go saw my review and diligently called me for several days until I picked up. They acknowledge my disappointment, but got creative. They suggested an itinerary deviation which had to be approved by the cruise line. A deviation is intentionally letting the ship leave without you and catching back up at another port. This allowed us to stay overnight in Rome.
Then they suggested private tours for that evening and even found online an early access tour to the Vatican. We had an evening Segway tour of Rome, stayed at an AirBNB, toured the Vatican, marveled at the sight of the Sistine Chapel and then caught a train to catch our ship before it left the next port. The people we met on the ship wished they knew about this option too and were amazed by our overnight adventure.

I never would have had the knowledge this could be done or the confidence to try something so independent if it wasn t for you guys calling me back and talking me through this.

We had the trip of a lifetime and we were the only couple on the ship that knew this possibility.

I use your site often. I love the simplicity no other site offers. Because of your site and staff, I am able to locate dream cruises around the world that I might otherwise never find. Thank you.

*** Old review when I previously left two stars (It explains their response): disappointed they didn't note that the one day in port in Rome is when the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel are closed. Closed Every Sunday.

If I could give VTG 10 stars, I would. Being an amateur cruiser, I didn't understand that there are category levels for each type of room ie different type's of balcony rooms. The agents I spoke to for booking and after booking were all very patient with me and trust me when I say my situation was irritating to both them and me. I was accommodated through and through. To those agents (Jonathan, Mallory, Maxwell) at VTG who helped me, THANK YOU & I'M SORRY!!!!

We have used Vacations To Go for several years to plan and book our cruises. Our cruise counselor has been an excellent source of information for us from placement of our room on the best ship and the best cruise. He has been available to us for any questions we might have and returns our calls the same day. We have recommended VTG to several of our friends, who have used them as well. We would not even think of using another travel company!! My husband and I have been on 12 cruises, most of them booked through VTG. Last cruise there were 14 people in our group; all booked through VTG. Very reliable and you know exactly how much you are paying and what you are paying for. Detailed billing and updates if cruise prices are lowered. The best!!!!

Do not be tricked by his website! These money sharks will book you in the lowest rooms the can for the largest profit they can. Going to Mexico recently I had been put in the lowest hotel resorts and rooms available, when I asked them what the price was and crosschecked prices for doing it myself and I would of saved $500.00. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Cannot even get in touch with the right people when I was on vacation and was left to pick up the extra costs they don't tell you about myself.

Vacations to Go is the best. I used them to arrange a honeymoon cruise for my wife and I. They definitely have the best prices - I monitored prices for nearly a year.
