Had a great experience here. I went in with no idea of the kind of car I wanted, looked around the show room and the parking lot for a bit. When I came inside with an idea of what I want, Neal A. came to our rescue. He was such a huge help and so patient since we had to stay a little late in the evening. 2008 Camry Oil Conception Test Failed. I have been waiting in line to fix my engine for over 4 months. I was promised from my Adviser I would be getting my free oil change until my engine has been fixed. Now they are denying my free oil change for some reason. The last three years I have been adding high grade synthetic oil to my car. My last oil change at your location the employees have used regular convention oil, and I am not happy with that low grade brand of oil. I am satisfied with the Toyota brand, but the hassle I have been given is unacceptable.

I honestly can say that I am very happy with my first car purchase. I was a first time buyer, starting from ground zero. Everyone there was exceptionally helpful, friendly and was a pleasure to be around. They all work very hard for you and do the best that they can to provide excellent customer service. There was a few moments that I personally was frustrated, but that's just how it goes when buying a car, but the issue was quickly resolved. The sales consultant I worked with was Morgan Matthews. Upon meeting Morgan, I thought she looked a little young and it made me relate to her a little more. With my job, I am the youngest the company has ever had in my current position, so from the beginning it was a good experience. Morgan was real, she treated us how she would like to be treated with buying a car. She showed us exactly what we asked for and didn't push anything at us. She gave the option, but never pushed. I purchased a 2008 Scion XD and I am in love with the car. It is beautiful and I would gladly purchase another car from Toyota of Richardson. They work hard for their customers. I know Morgan has put herself out for the benefit of her customers.

Dealership is great. Salesman was quick and truthful on all negotiations. Easy to buy. Service department also great. But we ve been disappointed in Toyota engineering on 2018 Highlander XLE. For one example the low tire indicator does not tell the driver which tire(s) is/are low and does not give tire pressure reading. The Nissan Rogue does have such am indicator.

I had the worst experience with the people in this dealer . I wanted to buy a Rav4 , but after running my credit they said I really have less credit score in order to afford a brand new RAV4. And I honestly agree with that and I understand , I cannot complain for that . However ,afterwards they started treating me very bad and they were trying to imply that I had done a big mistake in my life and I should get punished for my low credit . So they started showing me different second hand used cars and they were forcing me to buy their used car . I almost spent whole day at the dealer and I was completely stressed out sitting their whole day . Finally , I liked one of their used Nissan Altimas . However , the salesman keep on going back and forth to his manager room just to spend more than 4 hours. At one point , I clearly told them the most I can pay for that car . But still they made me wait for whole day just to come out at the end to say they cannot give me that car on that price . Then a big boss came from inside almost at the end of the day and in very large voice asked me , if I am going to take their car on their price . When I said no , he treated me very badly and showed me the way out . Even the salesman and other staff were looking at me as if I wasted their time .
So if you are seeking to be humiliated , tortured and if you really don t have anything to do and want to waste your time , Please visit Toyota of Richardson . Worst dealer I have ever encountered . Buy your car anywhere else in the world, but not this dealer . Avoid this place .

I have two cars usually taking my cars for oil change. Had an appointment at 6:30 on Friday which I made it one week in advance. ( when i was asking I voluntarily aksked for the latest time) I got there 10 min earlier and saw they were almost closed. One of the employees asked me why i was there. I said i had an appointment, but he went that they were about to close and can't take my car. I played the voice message that one of his colleagues left me the previous day and he startet yelling and fighting that he hadn't left me a message. I was shocked and I asked him if I mentioned anything about him leaving me a reminder message then he said'' come on man''. He went in the office, someone else came out and i played the message again he said he would take my car but I knew there was no one bc the first one had already told me. I was disappointed with the way he talked, he wasn't professional. So I took off and left. Never going back.

Randy Penn helped me find the truck I was looking for. I first contacted him a year ago and didn't buy anything. There was no pressure, he was professional and helpful so when I came back this year, I asked for him. He took the time to answer all my questions and after the purchase, Randy made sure I was up to date on all the features of my 2016 Tundra. I returned a couple of weeks later with more questions about the functions of several buttons. Randy dropped everything and still treated me like a new customer in the market. If you're looking for a new truck, ask for Randy.

Our experience with Toyota of Richardson is what you want car buying to be. Our sales representative, Randall Van-Ess was a joy to work with. We told him what we were looking for and he quickly showed us a couple of options. When it came time to discuss price, we told him he had one shot to bring us the best price. He worked with the sales manager Sean and came through with an excellent price. Faison was great to work with when it came time to do the paperwork.

I would recommend buying a car with Toyota of Richardson only if you are in the mood for a months-long headache.

In November, my car was totaled and I was forced into making a quick car buying decision. Luckily, I was able to find my exact same car (make, model, features, color, mileage) in the pre-owned lot at Toyota of Richardson. A car buying miracle!!

The day that I went to test-drive/purchase the car, I was told that it was out on an extended test drive and was therefore unavailable. I test drove some other cars, and luckily the one I had intended on buying showed up on the lot right before I was about to leave. Due to time constraints I was unable to test drive, but sat in the car for a minute to make sure the interior/features were the same as my previous car. Never again will I purchase a car without sitting in it with the windows rolled up.

We came back a few days later, purchased the car, and when driving it off the lot my husband and I took a few sniffs and looked at each other in horror. It reeked of cigarette smoke, but the kind of cigarette smoke that has been masked in some horrible artificial odor.

After several attempts to clear the smell from my car, it became clear that it was going to require professional help. I therefore ended up spending ~$400 dollars to have it chemically cleaned. In that process, I changed my cabin air filter and noticed the cigarette butts and "personal items" left behind in my car (after it was supposedly professionally cleaned and detailed before I picked it up).

When my salesperson followed up on my purchase, he seemed astounded to hear that there was any kind of smoke odor, and had he known he would have had it taken care of. Seems amazing that with all the people involved in readying a car for the sales lot, none of their olfactory senses work well enough to detect a lung-cancer inducing amount of smoke. Except, they noticed it enough to douse my car in Turtle Wax odor spray.

Anyways, I took care of the smell myself. My newest issue is getting my license plates, registration and title. I have nothing right now to prove that I own this car other than a receipt. We paid for the car in full and were promised to have the title and license plates "in a couple weeks". It is now 8 weeks since I bought the car and have yet to see either. I have followed up multiple times and the only scripted answer anyone seems able to provide is "we'll call you when they come in". One gentleman told me I could feel free to "pop in" to see if my plates were in the service department and maybe I just hadn't been notified yet (?!?!! I thought they would call me when they came in????!!!??!). However, a "pop-in" requires about a 30 minute drive on my part which I'm sure would only end in disappointment and frustration. I understand that these things take time but the lack of response coupled with the lack of explanation for the delay is enough to drive anyone up a wall.

In short, if you don't have a full time job or any other kind of time commitments, buying a car here may be for you. Otherwise, I would stick to literally any other dealership, or maybe the DART if you are desperate.

Meh. Only stuck with it because they had the used car i wanted. I bought a van here 8 or 9 years ago and had a great experience. This time was no where near that experience. I think it comes down to the sales person. I felt like it was just about, SELL SELL SELL. You're not a customer or a person, just a wallet with cash inside of it. Nothing about this experience was handled smoothly. When i actually was delivered the vehicle, my sales lady handed me the keys and walked away to move another car. Didn't want to go over ANYTHING about the car, help pair my phone o the radio, nothing.
I'm giving 3 stars because they have a good selection of pre-owned vehicles at a reasonable price, some of the other sales people attempted to help when my sales person fell flat.
I will say, that at least when i was in there it was 2 hours in and out. That's pretty quick compared to most of my car buying experiences.

First Sales person and I did not communicate or understand each other. One of the sales managers stepped in to help. I worked with him till a price was meet. Another sales person took over on the closing. Never got a card from any of the 3 so do not remember name. Worked with Syed on finance. All good at first. 3 months later we are still trying to fix the extended warranty to match what I was told the mileage would be extended to.
This started Sept 19th.
Still waiting to fix the problem. Syed is a very hard man to get in touch with.

Mid Oct I sent Syed 4 photos of problems that should have been fixed before I picked up the truck stating I did not know who to send them to. Never heard back from anyone. Took the truck in to have plates installed and talked to service about the problems. They said they could not do anything and sales said sorry over 30 days.

Service gave me a quote of almost $800.00 to fix the problems. Not going to happen.

Outstanding customer service and after telling him a few details of what I was looking for, he selected a car that I loved and ultimately ended up purchasing. Not only that, he got me in and out of there fast! Finance went very smooth as well. If you are going to visit Toyota of Richardson, ask for Joe Zambardino. You won't regret it!

I reccomended my sister here to get warranty work done on her toyota. I use them regularly for service. They did the warranty work then about a week later the engine light associated to the warranty work went off (air bags.) She called up to toyota and they said it was no problem for her to bring her vehicle in, they ran the diagnostic test and then charged her $170 for looking at something they was associated with their own work. She tried to talk to a manager and they were rude to her. So I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am ashamed that I recommended them to her in the first place. They only care about money and not their work or customer service!

It's the same damn story, different day for these guys. My relative bought a 2014 Highlander in July 2018 and got screwed into a $2k+ warranty he didn't want, so we went through several weeks of hassle to cancel. The customer relations mgr wrote it off as confusion and a misunderstanding. My relative went back to trade in the Highlander last week for a newer model after I advised him not to - THEY DID THE SAME THING TO HIM AGAIN.

The sales person got him into a warranty after being told that he didn't want it. They assured him that it WOULD NOT be rolled into the loan and would be written in at NO ADDITIONAL COST. The contract was written extending the term to 75 months to make make it seem that the payment did not include warranty. ONCE AGAIN they did not provide warranty papers in the customer packet, and the financing bill from the lender shows the warranty cost. Now we have to do a cancellation AGAIN as we did a few months ago. We are within 30 days of purchase and expect full refund minus $50 fee, which we shouldn't even be paying for since we didn't want a warranty to begin with.

BOTTOM LINE: Sales and finance dept are still CROOKED and always will be!!!

I went to them recentrly to purchase a new car. The agent David B. who helped was really nice. We went to negotitations and after going back and forth a few times, the sales manager Allen came out to talk directly to me. I told him the amount I wanted and he came close to it after quite a bit of going back and forth. Since he was going around giving me lease options and some other stuff that I didt want in my deal, I told them that I would like to go and look around more to see if I can get a better price. After 3-4 hrs of being in that dealership negotiating, the guy offered me a price that was close to my asking range but not still close enough so I said no. The guy got angry at this and said "So now you are going to go to other dealerships looking to get this number and guess what, you are not even going to get this number with us now" and then he walks away angry. This was extremely rude to me since I didnt offend him in anyway. I did get my number at Toyota of McKinney in under an hour!! Toyota of Mckinney was polite and treated negotiations as a regular process and never ever got close to raising their voice at me and I walked out with my new car. My point is that be a sales professional and there is no need to fume at me, this is not how you would earn your business. I am a customer and next time I am looking out for a car for myself, my family or my friends...do you really think I am going to come to you or refer you? NO! Regardless of the sales manager's behavior, I must mention that the sales agen (David) was very patient, polite and tried to work things out.

I bought many times my Parts from them , because of lack of not having aftermarket one . It looks like Toyota is having problem to hire sober people . In last few times that I was there , I saw few High people giving service to the customers ONE OF THEM is the Manager (The Bald Bear) named Robin . Just because the car doesn't have recorded accidents, it doesn't mean he can tell me "this car has never been an accident" without a blink of an eye. I mean I guess it was part my fault to for not checking the inside of the car but man... ALSO he did not mention that the car was used as a rental by the previous owner.... this dropped my car price so much when I tried to sell it. Very neutral about Toyota of Richardson. Theo and his Manger, I forgot the name (sorry,) was very helpful in the whole process. I got an excellent deal on a vehicle that I purchased. The after sale is where they get you. I was able to get the 2nd key programmed and that was it. No return calls afterwards on promises that they made. I'm trying to get a "we owe" done but no one wants to return my calls or emails. I'm glad that I didn't pay the reconditioning fee. I'm about to give up and just pay out of pocket for something that they should have caught before putting it out on the lot. A different dealership quote $$$ on what was suppose to be my "we owe". More than the cost of the reconditioning fee.

I had to chase them and keep "reminding" them they needed to fix my car (after the managers have authorised it already) at a certain point the co-manager Noel has decided to screen my calls so i had to drive down and confront him that exact moment. And only then I had my car repaired ... That is really unacceptable!

I've bought cars from a couple different dealerships in the past and it was always the same long, tenuous, day-long process of going back and forth on everything. But not here! I had an idea of what I wanted coming in and luckily David Delozier was able to find me the perfect car! And, the best part, for a way lower payment of what I was paying for my last one! Highly recommend coming here first next time you look for a car!

He provided the option for me to wait while the car is being fixed or to provide a courtesy ride for me which l choose. I used the opportunity to go to my hairdresser while my car was being fixed and someone came to pick me up when I was done which coincidence with when my car was ready.
