STAY AWAY!!! After buying our vehicle I'm not surprised by all of the negative reviews I am seeing here. This dealership is why people HATE buying cars. On our first trip we were approached by "Frank" who claimed to be the fleet sales manager. We called in advance because we only wanted to see a blue 4runner and they assured us they had one on the lot. Once we got there I reiterated we wanted to see a blue one. After about 30 minutes of standing around and waiting he pulls up a white one and then walked away to deal with another customer. We just walked out. The following weekend we went back (only because of the extended warranty they offer) and learned Frank was just another salesman. We made a deal with another salesman on a new 4runner. Since the vehicle was at another dealership, we went to pick up the vehicle the following week once they got it. The vehicle had pin stripes (which we did not want) and no remote start (which was a requirement). When I got home and looked at the paperwork I realized the VIN numbers were not the same. They gave us a different vehicle than what we bought. They later admitted to it and had no plans on letting us know.

No etiquette, terrible customer relations, they only care for the money. I recently inquired about a pre-owned Toyota Sienna. I made the mistake of pushing "GET SPECIAL QUOTE" button on their website to get a special quote, but after giving all my contact information I got a phone call from an agent called Chenai, who absolutely paid no attention to my inputs or needs, and never gave me a "cash" price quote. She fixed an appointment by herself after pouring out words hastily on the phone. I am 50 miles away from the dealership as I told her, so I send her a text message to cancel my appointment, after all it is not smart to drive a 100 miles round trip without going out to buy the car you don't know the value of. So, when I cancelled, I got a call from the same agent, she was speaking very fast again without listening to the customer...She poured out some numbers, this time the value of the car was a little bit less (original was around 15600), but with base value of around 14.600, but drive out price was 17000! I suspected hidden fees, so, I wanted to take a breath, take my calculator. I told her I needed to do the math. This time she started to raise her voice at me: "what are you going to do, I did the math for you". She definitely did not want me to think or make a calculation. She kept on asking me "what time are you going to come today?" and tried to rush me telling me that 4 more people were going to look at the car that day. I was upset because if a vendor pushes you, it almost all the time means she is forcing you to act quickly and without thinking, so that the tricks go uncovered. Then there came this method of payment issue, and since she was never listening but purging words at me she missed that I had already stated I would be paying in cash the day before. So, I told her "had you been listening closer, you would have noticed, I am willing to pay in cash...". She replied in a very rude manner blaming me for not listening to her!!! So, that was it, I told her I was very upset and would file a complaint and would never buy a car from them even if they gave it away. And she in a very very rude manner hung up to my face! So for Alvin of Toyota, that's what you mean to them. The moment they understand they can't earn anything from you, you are not worth being treated as a human. I filed a dispute with Toyota, and I have been called by the manager in this dealership...That person only told me she would get back to me....and she never did!! I will keep posting about this issue on social media. Bottom line: stay away from Toyota of Alvin.

However, after spending nearly $2K in Scheduled Maintenance, they tacked on an additional 3% for utilizing a credit card, which will unfortunately, likely prevent me from coming back. These are, after all, dealer prices and NOBODY is believing that their margins are that tight.

I was looking for a 19 4Runner in Voodoo Blue. They replied that they had the vehicle, when could I come for a test drive? I explained I could come that evening but I did not want to go out there and the vehicle not be on the lot. I said I had that trick played on me before and that was not something I was interested in doing and would be very upset if it happened. I was told there should be no issue with my request and they would see me that evening. Well, there was no such vehicle on their lot and they tried to tell me they had sold it a couple days earlier. True to my word, I expressed my displeasure. After the sales manager assured me that I was not lied to and the vehicle I wanted just sold 2 days earlier, I pressed him about the issue. Eventually he told me that all dealerships use that tactic to get people on the lot. I will let the reader decide if I was lied to, I know what I believe. To me, a person's word means something. If I cannot trust a simple statement of being in possession of a vehicle, what happens if there is a real issue? Ask yourself how important honesty is to you.

Had an excelllent purchase experiece for our 2018 Highlander. Drove from Katy to Alvin for the best price. Eric & Daniel honored every word of our verbal agreement. In and out in 30 minutes as they did all the paperwork with my credit uion ahead of time.

Austin helped me through everything with the pricing, the rental and the repair costs. I've been to several other businesses that deal with the issues I'm having with my vehicle and this is by far the best with the services. Austin kept me up to date daily with the progress with what was completed and what else needed to be done. If I can somehow contribute to getting this gentleman a raise, a bonus, something that will show how great of a worker he is I will. Also with the time I had with Jesus, Clint and Jimmy they were very polite and professional, those gentlemen need to be rewarded as well. Later on down the road I plan on trading in my truck to get a newer vehicle. When I do it will definitely be here at Toyota of Alvin. Thanks everyone for your dedication and for helping me know I the customer comes first at Toyota of Alvin.

Our experience at Keating was Amazing from beginning to end. Gavynn greeeted us,and we just instantly felt comfortable with him . Then we meet Austin and together These guys both went above and beyond to make our experience Great! Gavynn and Austin were not pushy at all and very informative !! We went in just to test drive a few vehicles with no intentions of purchasing. Once we say down and talked numbers we left with our very first big purchase a 2020 Camry!

The salesman Micheal and finance manager Al were very courteous and efficient. Five for them. I'm giving three overall because the majority of employees were not wearing masks or had them pulled down, often working close together. Masks are the first line of protection during the pandemic, especially as cases surge. I understand not wanting to force customers to wear masks, but the dealership should protect its employees & customers by requiring employees to wear masks. They can even have the dealership's name and Toyota logo, like the shirts. Lead by example.

Fast friendly service for replacement of the airbag. However there is now a 6 inch squiggle on the driver s side which looks like ball point pen but will not come off after using several products. I know this for sure because I looked the car over before I drove there as I was checking all the tires.

Just bought a 2021 Tundra and 2020 Camry. Jacob was really nice to deal with and Matt helped us get a deal we could be happy with. They went out of their way to make sure I was leaving with a truck I really wanted, even if it caused them some back and fourth.. Very nice building and service shop too. Would have been 5 stars but my only recommendation would be a little more trade in value, I feel we rolled a little too much into our new loans, but overall we are happy with the purchases!

Lee Ware sold me a Toyota Tundra last week. I don't particularly care for the whole vehicle buying experience. It's stressful making such a big decision because I am the kind to "drive it til the wheels fall off" BUT Lee made it an enjoyable experience. Going from a small car to a big truck is quite a change and Lee never freaked out on the LONG test drive when I waited too long to brake or gasped in fear when I felt like other cars were too close (unlike my husband). Of course he was sitting in the back and I couldn't see his face but his voice never let on that he feared for his life or anything. He was funny and helpful. He is a very good salesman and I highly recommend him and Kelli and the whole team at Toyota of Alvin. Thanks ya'll!

Saw a Jeep Patriot for $7,700 on their website. Called to make sure it was still available. They said it was. We drove 1 hour and 41 freaking minutes to the dealership and THREE times they called to see when we would there, etc and not once did they mention the price would be over $1,000 higher when we got there PLUS tax, title and license?? So we get there and the salesman does his whole spiel and is very nice...pretty much acted like our best friend. Told him we would be paying cash & asked the cash price. Of course he said that wasn t his department but he would set us up with his manager to do all that. Well then he comes back with paperwork and tells us about it being $2000 higher than the price listed on the internet PLUS t,t&l.
The whole thing was shady as hell.
And this is a Toyota dealership!? The last place we expected to be done wrong. And we have been to some shady and scary dealerships lately but none did us as bad and wrong as this place did!! Disheartening really. They spoke to her 3 times today and never mentioned the price change...smdh! What a horrible way to do business :/

This used to be a great dealership and still may be depending on who you "sale manager" is. Three years ago we came here to look for a vehicle and we ended up buying two vehicles (1- brand new and 1- certified used) at the same time. We thought that we were going to have a good experience again so we went back to trade in one of the Camry's we bought. Its a 2013 Camry SE in great shape, only has 42K miles no accidents that we paid $24k for 3 years ago. The 1st thing i was asked to do was to sign a agreement of intent to purchase. ALL the info was BLANK and nothing filled in because at this time they still haven't told me the price of the vehicle. I told Frank our "sales manager" that I'm not signing anything that doesn't have information filled in. So after 45 minutes of trying to get a price for the vehicle that we were wanting to buy (kept getting a run around about what we want our monthly payment and not a total price of van we were wanting to buy) finally I said give me the price of the vehicle or I'm leaving. After he gave me the price I asked him what they were going to give me for my trade in. He told me they would only give me $6,000. I told him BS and to give me my keys back I'm leaving. I told him that they have a 2013 Camry SE on the lot with 100,000 miles and they are asking $11.3k for it and that they are only going to give me $6,000 for mile with only 42K miles and in better shape. He kept trying to stall me and not give me my keys back until I screamed I want my keys back so I can leave. After I walked out he kept trying to stop me and ask what do I want for the Camry and telling me to take the other vehicle home. I told him NO. It just sucks because we have a service package on the other new vehicle we bought at the same time as this one so will still have to go back to this dealership. Its a shame that they will lose all of my business and any business from any family members because we recommended every to go there but not anymore

The software update on my Entune was a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. I thought the Entune was defective when it kept rebooting on me when I was driving. If I knew earlier that it only needed a software update instead of a replacement, I would have said something earlier. My service provider knew exactly what was needed to solve a very annoying problem.

Was the best car buying experience I've had in a long time. I knew what vehicle I wanted and we were able to make a great deal and close within a couple hours. I'd recommend anyone to purchase from Toyota of alvin. I came down from the woodlands tx and it was totally worth the drive.

I have been to this new dealership twice since they moved from Alvin and the service is tremendous. Simon has the upmost respect for the customer, listening to your expectations and following through.

I took my client for 5000 mile maintenance check up actually the service was really good.. it was done in a very timely manner ...The service guy took the time to explain everything to me that I need to know about my vehicle. Which is a 2019 Toyota tundra 4 x 4. The service guy took the time out to come to greet me and show me around my vehicle and explain things to me...So far I am very very happy.

The final cost of your vehicle will be much more than you expect. In my case they did not show me the final cost prior to having me sign purchase forms for the vehicle. The costs they represented to me while negotiating was different from the final cost.
Also, they have failed to send me my license plates and I have had to submit an official complaint to DOT.
In summary, there are much more honest and responsible places to purchase a toyota.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere, anywhere else. The "Floor Manager" made crude jokes, sang in the lobby out loud, teased and made fun of me and my friend, insinuated the idea that we had no money to spend, and even harassed us RIGHT OUT THE FREAKIN DOOR! It was one of the worst moments we have ever experienced. And these actions were from a manager! Our sales representative was polite and informative, but there was no turning back after the childish and unprofessional behavior of the manager. We are now purchasing our new 4Runner from Mike Haik Toyota, and nobody here has treated us with such disrespect.

I set a appointment for noon on Saturday, received a call right before they closed but j missed it, i call them back and was told to call in the morning to confirm. Called in the morning and was told they don't do appointments on the weekends and its been a known issue they haven't fixed. Service manager said they could get me in at noon and offered a free car wash when the special already includes that. I told the service manager the price on their website for an oil chance is 34.99 yet they still over charged me it, I didnt have time anymore time to argue it so said screw it and just left cashier was rude. I was suppose to get a call back over this issue but never got one.. I won't be going back to this dealership.

I have never posted a bad review before and usually always give companies and individuals the benift of the doubt but I've had a terrible experience with this company. They do not keep up their end of the bargain when it comes to items promised to make sales and the customer relations manager "Amber" has a very bad attitude. Tried my best to reason with these individuals but they refuse to be reasonable. Would recommend going somewhere else if you have the choice. The buying process was very easy but after that they no longer care once your money is in their pocket. That's all they care about. I made a deal with the sales department to throw in rims for a full price vehicle. They agrees and we bought the car quick with no problems. We were told that we would receive a call when the rims were received and would have them put on. After no call for a few weeks we called and we're told they hadn't come in yet. So we waiting a few more weeks. Called again we're told they would look into it and call us back because they had been misplaced and would look for them. After more time with no call I received a text asking what kind of rims I bought. I replied and assumed okay they will call soon to get into contact with me to get them installed. After calling multiple times after this with no answers, or the usual "we will call you after we look into it, I'm not the person who can answer that" I finally called again this week to get it sorted out and talked to customer relations manager Amber who gave me a number of excuses as to why this was my fault and if I cared about the rims I should have contacted them. While contacting them almost weekly trying to get this sorted out. Come to find out they had mixed my phone number with someone's else's in their system and the whole time were calling the wrong person back. Even through all this at the end I was told now it had been to long and I can't get the rims that were included in my price even though it was an error on their end the whole way through while I tried numerous times to get a resolution. Amber over and over gave me rude responses and made it seem like if I had cared at all I would have driven 45 minutes to the dealership every day to complain while in the middle of a pandemic instead of taking ownership and giving me what I was promised "700$ worth of rims for buying a 30,000$ car" almost seems to not be worth it in the long run of losing a potential repeat customer. I was planning to buy a new truck within the next few months but after this experience I will not be doing business with them again and regret doing it in the first place. I was also planning on using their company for my work vehicles in the coming months as we planned to fully buy a new line of trucks but 700$ of rims caused them to lose upwards of 100k in sales on multiple trucks.

Thought I d also mention, they LOST the keys to the car we were buying and we were waiting for over an hour for them to find them so we could test drive... well they never found the keys so we left in a RENTAL CAR.. if we weren t such easy going people, they would have lost the sale from that point. Any other person to go in and have this experience would have been out the door with no sale, but w were so patient with them the entire process.... then the day we were supposed to get our actual new car kept being put off throughout the weekend.

When we finally Got our car, we only had one key since they lost them... so they contacted the locksmith. They gave the locksmith the same non existing phone number previously listed, therefore we didn t have a second key for over 2 months from our purchase. They do not communicate well at this dealership and we definitely would have went a different route if we had known from the start.

I was unimpressed with the sales and leadership staff.
I had a complaint that I escalated to the GM and finance director and NO ONE ever followed up. I even emailed Kathly, the person assigned the my experience and she never followed up either.

When we purchased our car, most of the staff didn t wear masks and stayed in close contact.

I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from them again. I ll need to use the service department because of deal they offer for free oil changes, but that s all.

I just picked up a 2014 magnetic gray Tundra with the platinum trim option. I'll start out by saying that this wasn't an easy car to find. I went to Toyota of Alvin and introduced myself (yes, no sales people waiting to pounce on you) to Gregg Anthony. Greg educated me, slightly more than my online research, on the differences of the various trim packages available in the Tundra as well as the changes, slight and significant, in this model year as compared to last. Gregg didn't have the color truck I wanted so I left and went to a few other dealerships in the area. Gregg followed up with me via email and phone with tact and professionalism. He wasn't over-anxious and didn't over communicate. He gets it. He offered to have me and my wife back out for a test drive and to run some preliminary numbers to get to an agreement that would allow them to get the color/package I wanted. Gregg worked with me and their management to allow me to put a tiny deposit down and they promised to secure the car (which wasn't available in a 5-state region, previously). 48 hours later, Gregg called to tell me there was a delay - a delay while they washed and prepped the vehicle for my pickup. I went in and brought my TrueCar guaranteed discount price - for which Alvin wasn't the highest - gave my coupon to Gregg and the negotiations started. We ended up very close to where we started, it was only 3 trips to the management bay and I was very happy with the final deal. Finance (Frankie) was friendly, competent and honest - explained everything (and some things twice) to my satisfaction. Service introductions (Carl) were made and those guys seemed laser focused on keeping people in the customer waiting area and on the phone happy. I was duly impressed. I would recommend Gregg Anthony in a heartbeat. The guy is an honest man looking to do right by his clients without games, pressure or lies. When my friends or family have Toyota car needs in the future, Gregg will definitely be the one I point to and say "I know a guy." Don't miss out on an opportunity to experience car buying as it should be.

We worked with The Cowboy and he made it a painless process and answered all of our questions and addressed all our concerns. The manager came around and made sure we were doing ok while we were there also. I would definitely recommend toyota of alvin.

Was satisfied for the price of my car. Online experience was pretty smooth. But when I left after picking the vehicle up the car wasn't filled up with gas. The coolant and wiper fluid resevoir was low. Could have been better executed on the dealers side.

Every person that I came across genuinely seemed to love what they do. They put me in a better vehicle than what I initially came there for. I really appreciate their service and dedication to me. I went in because my car had 3 part recalls on it. Originally I was told that all the replacement parts were in stock, but when I went only 2 were so I will have to go back after the third part comes in. James was very friendly and quoted me a pretty accurate wait time and assured me that the third part needed to replace the recalled part will be in soon.
Overall a very easy experience. Would definitely return for future services on my Toyota.

Toyota of Alvin is by far the best sales & customer service ever. I have been a loyal customer here since 1993. Bought all my Toyota s here. I always shop around and always end back at Toyota of Alvin. They treat you well, not push overs and took care of our request. Just bought a corolla for my daughter and They did a wonderful job. He was very professional and knew his stuff. Took care of us all the way.

I leased a brand new 2013 Tundra from this dealership. I soon learned that the Tundra has a problem even Toyota didn't know about. I considered it a minor problem until it bit me badly one day when it locked me out of my truck with the engine running.
I went into the dealership and talked to the service manager (Jimmy) for about 20 minutes describing the problem. Although he promised to investigate my truck, he never did. I wrote to Toyota describing the problem. They said they had notified the dealership and that Kelli Pope would be contacting me. She did, and I went through the whole problem with her.Never heard from Kelli again. The problem kept happening but I had taken steps to insure I was never locked out of my vehicle with the engine running again.
So now my lease is almost up and I decide the buy the Tundra. No big deal, the dealership arranges financing and I now own my 2013 Tundra. Two months later, however, I discover that my credit score has dropped 27 points because Toyota of Alvin caused 3 hard inquiries into my credit report in ONE day. I asked the dealership to explain why, with my excellent credit score of 741, it took 3 hard inquiries to finance my Tundra. Over a week later Toyota of Alvin still has not responded to my question. And please don't tell me to contact Kelli Pope...been down that road already.
Totally unresponsive dealership, and it is easy to see why it has a C- rating with the BBB.

The process was so easy and the staff I worked with were wonderful! I knew the 4Runner I wanted was at Alvin Toyota and our first contact with them was hit or miss. I emailed Eric Rosenman late Friday night to let him know that there were a few hiccups with trying to purchase the vehicle I wanted and that I would not be able to drive out to the dealership so everything would have to be handled over the phone. The very next morning I received a call from Daniel Ramirez who was ready to help me with my purchase! He was great to talk to and worked with everything I needed and answered all of my questions. Sergio Ortega in finance was also very helpful and answered all of the questions I had all the way through signing the paperwork. I purchased my vehicle from home, had it delivered, and they took my trade in back with them. The whole process couldn t have been easier. Thank you so much to the Toyota of Alvin team.

I purchased my car from Toyota of Alvin in January. Which was earlier this year, the people who sold me the vehicle were understanding and gave excellent customer service. It s a shame the man who helped me purchase the car is no longer with the dealer. He was very helpful and I was looking into purchasing or trading my current vechicle for another vechicle later down the road.
Last month I was sold bad gas so the people who came through was Toyota! They provided free towing for my vehicle to the dealership. The techs that worked on my car were very informative on the condition of my car. They were even calling the insurrance company that represented the gas station on the conditions of my car, they helped guide them through the whole situation with my car. They informed me on everything as well as them, even when they got the parts.
It took approximately 3 weeks for my car to get fixed but fear not! They provided me with a loaner car to get to work,etc. Which was amazing because some dealers don t even offer you that option. It was a stressful situation and I had anxiety due to it.
I m happy that I can write this review about the dealership. They ve helped me with my car since day one and I m grateful. I still wish the salesman Frank work there. He was very wonderful. Overall, I give Toyota 4 stars minus one without frank. Thanks Toyota.

Got a Camry, it fit my budget and requirements for a car. Matt was my sales associate and made the process very smooth, no issues. Certainly recommend Toyota of Alvin as a dealership to consider when I need a next vehicle.

Hospitality and good costumer service is hard to find these days. However, I found great costumer service at toyota of Alvin. khalid Ali was great working with when getting my truck service. He was very understanding to my concerns and made sure there would be no gimmicks.
