Internet has been out for almost a week now. The only reason we use this service is because it's one of our only options. If you can get internet from any other company you should. There is no way it could be worse. I live less than one mile outside of Springfield MO btw and have had their service for years. I suspect they are using fake profiles to up their review percentages because there is no way they have that many satisfied customers.

Just had Total Highspeed installed. Installer went the extra mile to try alternative locations and types of installation to optimize signal strength, reliability and speed. Installer was extemely persistent in finding the optimal solution with a difficult install. Working perfectly thus far. Far superior to the poor service we have been receiving from CenturyLink DSL in this area. Impressive!

I was fairly pleased with service for 5 plus years...

I was fairly pleased with service for 5 plus years. However, the occasional outages and speeds, which were less than promised, were an annoyance. That irritation could have been ameliorated if monthly charges were modified and reduced by the company reflecting that service had been subpar. Then, about 9 months ago, internet connections became intolerably substandard. There was no excuse or explanation for this change offered by tech support. Basic internet access became increasingly unavailable at times requiring trips to my local McDonalds to just get online. Again, I was very disappointed with tech support which afforded no explanation for this reduction in service. And, did I see a reduced monthly charge to compensate for the inferior connections? Absolutely not! Thankfully, I became aware that my landline phone company, CenturyLink, had made it to my neck of the woods with internet services. Jumping ship from Total Highspeed Internet Solutions, has been the greatest move for our family. Now we have more reliable, higher speed internet access, plus a landline, for less money than the monthly Total Highspeed charge for internet access alone . As one customer at McDonalds remarked to me when learning of my terminal frustration with Total Highspeed, "Oh, you mean "Total Joke"." My response? "Yea."

The install guy was nice and so we're all the customer service reps but I was pretty bummed to wait two weeks for an install only to find out they weren't able to get a good signal and I'm only a couple miles outside of springfield. Bummer.

The internet is SOOO slow that sawing my own nads off and attaching them to a kite would provide better internet service. Scientists at NASA have an easier time piloting the Mars ROVER than I do playing a YouTube video at 144p. You might as well build a giant radio tower in your backyard and suffer from radiation poisoning rather than joining totalhighspeed's plan. (Also, you would be better off throwing your money in a well instead of paying $100 per month for 12 Kilobytes a second)

THS is our only option at this point, but if AT&T or Mediacom were in our area we would switch in a heartbeat. On the $75/month plan we are able to surf the web and stream Netflix, but not on more than one device at a time. This was true of the $100/month plan for us too. As far as downloads and uploads go - forget it. We have to take our computers somewhere else if we need updates or want to download something. I'm sure I'll get a "we're sorry, please call our tech support line" answer, but they won't hear from me again unless we just have zero connection because I've been through those hoops enough times. Today I called because they are doing their mass service switch-out, hoping they could move our connection to a different room in the process. I was told tech support would call me to schedule a different day for that. I get they have a lot to do, but that seems really inefficient and an inconvenience to families with schedules that don't allow for being home on weekdays waiting around on a tech. Finally, I emailed recently about the perk they were offering for new customers for a few dollars off to sign up for EFT. I asked if any such discount was being offered for customers like myself who have been with the company for quite some time, and the answer was no - and eventually "there is nothing more I can do for you". Seems to me like maybe it's time to expand customer service operations if that's the answer given to someone who has been giving them $900 annually for what's been described.

With the unbelievable amount of service interruptions (daily for several hours), throttling speeds down when a large download is detected, sub-par service, and ridiculous price for what you get..I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere. For years I've dealt with this and dozens of times trying to get tech support, the answer is always "we're detecting too many devices on your network" (going into the router settings shows there is about 5, only 3 ever actively using WiFi at a time) OR "it must be your router causing a problem". Many hundreds of dollars later and a closet full of routers, I had my own tech wizard check out all the settings and hardware on the router. Needless to say, it's not the dozens of routers. There's plenty of documentation to show the blatant ripoff and intentional throttling of speed. As of now, don't waste your money.

I have had Total Highspeed for over a year. I've always had a great experience when I have called customer service. Lately my speed has dropped dramatically, but I called and they have a solution and are going to get on the problem immediately. In my experience, they are so much more friendly and helpful than AT&T.

Living in the country with few expensive providers, Total hight speed is the solution, UNLIMITED DATA, that is the ticket. The technicians are outstanding and the billing office the best of the service you could find, that makes you feel you are important to them, the big providers such as AT&T the service is 50% level of caring.
If you in the country and need internet, try them first, you will not be disappointed.

I live in a very rural area where there are very few options for high speed internet. We have had total highspeed internet for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied. It always seems to work even when the satellite signal is weak. My only complaint is that we cannot stream more than one video, Netflix, at a time. Other than that we are pleased and I have always had positive conversations with the customer service.

Coming from the north east we were used to cable based fast internet. We have struggled with options since moving here. Having been at a friend's with Total High Speed, we decided it was time to give up the satellite now that our contract was up. Especially since we have a 4k TV that we had not used the apps or we'd go over our data, but also struggled with slow speeds. Now to finally be able to stream music or videos freely is awesome.

We live rural and most people can't even get phone reception at our house and before we moved in we were told "good luck with internet because there isn't much that works out here". But with using Total we are able to not only have internet but good enough internet to watch movies and make wifi phone calls and do all we need to do!

They are consistently easy to get a hold of when I need help and are willing to take the time to explain things to me so that I can understand them. Our wireless connection is wonderful and we feel we are getting a good value our money. We would recommend Total Highspeed to anyone.

The people who answer aren't nice, they don't care if you have their service or not, they do not try to be nice, they are short and very Unprofessional, rude people. But the techs that come out to service you are not like them at all. I have had service with them 5 +years ...why we live rural. My price has gone up 1)to meet there need for growth 2)charged me for using paper instead of auto to my account. I am checking other options.

Yesterday a technician showed up at our home while we were working, and our minor son was home alone. He said he needed to come inside and get his equipment (due to a past due account) he pushed inside the door. He (the tech) removed the power cords to our router, that we purchased at a local retailer, and took them with him. Neither my husband nor I were notified, and our son was made to help the tech move our couch so that he could get the equipment that wasn't even the company's property. I am considering filing charges with local law enforcement.

I have had this service since
December 2017. So far the service has been sporadic at best. I would not recommend this provider until they update their system. Currently they cannot provide the speed they promised. Total band with is 4MBPS and 4 users on our tower are paying for 8MBPS. Needless to say we get dropped a lot. We had 12,000 drops in 40 days. That is 300 drops per day. We are hanging on to see if the upgrade equipment makes the difference. We are expecting the upgrade in the next two weeks.

I've had Total High Speed wireless internet for almost a year. Connection hasn't been horrible until recently but I live very close to the tower. My issues started a few months ago when I noticed I could no longer connect to my Xbox. I've been dealing with issues for almost 3 months. They offered to give me a public ip address, for an extra charge. After I refused they stated they would do it for a month for free. This did not even fix my issue and I was charged for it anyway. After I called to have it removed, I have not been able to connect to the internet at all, yet they insist I am connected at full speed. Even when speaking to them about possibly upgrading to the fiber, I can't get an answer on whether my issues will be fixed with an upgrade and it requires a 2 year contract, which I refuse to do unless I know I will be able to use my internet to its fullest capacity. I am canceling my service and switching providers.

Moved from the city to the country and have no had an enjoyable time. THS offers speeds that are just atrocious in this day and age (3 mps? Where other places are giving almost double that). If you're a gamer, while the unlimited data cap is nice, the download and upload speeds will be giving you lag, it will take at 1-2 days to download a 21gb game, the ping spikes are anywhere from 500-1000. For the prices of their plans, you're much better off getting service elsewhere unless you're like me and only stuck with one ISP since moving. It takes me personally anywhere from 2-6 hours just to download 1gb of a file!

If you have multiple people in the house or multiple connections, good luck trying to do anything at the same time because your speed will dip so hard.

While the service is awful, the customer service and techs are great. Quick to respond to emails and very helpful. Great people.

The one time I had a problem, they were quick to respond and very polite on the phone. We have been customers for over two years with hardly any issues. About four weeks ago our internet just went out. Usually unplugging the router fixes it but not this time. Many phone calls later tech support told me a tower needed maintenance but they didn't know when it would be fixed. They came to my house and re-installed my equipment and it was fine for about a week. We are now back to it being dropped about once every hour and just no availability in the evenings. I truly think using your phone as a hot spot is a better option than paying $85 a month for this awful company that takes advantage of its rural customers.

This internet is terrible. If I could give it no stars I would. I am a teacher and a master's student and doing any kind of homework is painful. When I called to ask about why my internet was so slow, (between 265-897kbs) they asked me to go through several trouble shooting options. Once they found out there was only one computer hardwired into the internet and nothing was updating in the background, they suggested that I shut off my virus protection program because it was using the internet and that was why it was not running as it was suppose to (1Mbs). We pay $100 a month and trying to upload an assignment to the university website is like playing the lottery.

Company brought down a box that had a straight talk SIM card in it that ran off AT&T towers. Called to complain because only getting 1 mbps at night when wanting to use and around 14 in morning when I was fixing to go to work. When I talked to the manager he said he couldn t control the internet traffic. Well for $150 I think 1 mbps is a joke. Called back today to see how long it would be before they could get a dish out they said at least 45 days. I canceled biggest joke of a company I have ever felt with.

I appreciated the "heads up"notifications I received by email and phone, with all that was described absolutely true, in that the work was not at all obtrusive, the technician efficiently went about his tasks, the service so far shows a moderate improvement, and new equipment looks better.I gave it only a 4 star rating because I haven't had it yet for over a week. Wish I could give 0 stars. We have no other choice but to have them as providers. It is sooooo over priced and CONTSTANTLY down.. We probably have internet 50% of the time, and the 50% of the time it IS working, it is soooo slow and horrible. They also just raised everyone's price by $8 and some change for "equipment updates"... LOL right. Still just as horrible so I would like to know what they updated. They charge way more for internet services compared to everyone around here so they shouldn't have any problem affording good equipment.

Not a bad ISP if you live out in the country but the speeds could be much better. I went to CenturyLink because I get 3mbps for $65 instead of 1mbps for $100 but if they ever offer better speeds I would go back. There is no reason for the premium they charge, they do it because they have you by the balls. In this day and age they should be capable of doing 6mbps for $100 by now.

A special thanks to Ray Malcolm that worked many long days trouble shooting the problem and working hard to make the fixes. And a special thanks to the tech support that listened to my complaints. Total High speed is awesome, awesome service and people that work there.
Ultimate will service 1 computer or 1 device just fine with the ultimate package.
If you need multiple devices 2+ connected requiring more advanced computer online games and YouTube videos at same time and or a home console playing Netflix at same time.bandwidth then you'll need over 10mg.

For email/Facebook games/YouTube/school research/basic internet use 1M-1.5M is fine
If someone is planning on playing MMo's etc and the above 5M
Multiple devices with simultaneous connections 2-3 10M
Anything higher just goes up.

THI Technicians arrived early in the morning to check out our dish. They did their work quickly and let us know that all was in good order. In and out in 30 min or less. Service is good. Seldom have buffering now. Way better than other internet providers we have hired in the past.

WARNING! DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE!!! Simply put, for the past month the service has been cutting out (sometimes for hours at a time) on a regular basis. I can never seem to go one day without it just shutting itself down. "You try rebooting everything?" Well, as a matter of fact, I did. So the family called tech support, and suprise suprise, the person told us we had a virus! Funny story...I know how to manually find and remove viruses from computers and phones. Wanna know something neat? NOTHING HAS A VIRUS!!! These people in tech support aren't worth a damn because no matter how much you beg and plead, they won't help you besides telling you it's your fault. In Springfield you can get an upwards of 100 Mbps. For these frauds (paying over $100 a month) will net you 0.2 or 0.3 Mbps. We live LESS THAN A MILE AWAY FROM ONE OF THEIR TOWERS! IT SHOULDN'T BE CUTTING OUT EVERY DAY!!! It's not worth it. Even now it's not showing internet on my computer so I'm writing this review on my cellular data. Don't make the same mistake of buying from these jerks. All they want to do is milk you for all your money and throttle your internet speed. Lucky for them they're the only service in the area...if I could buy from any other company that has RELIABLE internet I would switch in a heartbeat...I'm a college student and I can't even get my assignments done in a timely manner. And don't even bother looking at the replies from the other one star responses. All they do when they reply is use some stupid cookie cutter response like "high-speed internet and reliability is our utmost concern". That's a bunch of lies. And if they reply to this comment and say I'm not a customer, well guess what I don't use my real name on my Google account. I don't like using my name on the internet for safety reasons. But I have been using this service for nearly 7 long years. They don't deliver on their promise and con you out of your money since they basically have a monopoly and can do relatively whatever they want.

I have had them since the summer and it has been terrible. I live out in the country and it is hard enough to get internet but they promised they were avalible AT MY HOME after coming to it. Every month I have to call and get them to reset SOMETHING in their systems.it is stupid and ridiculous and as someone who works in the same industry I am tired of it. Its not acceptable.

We have had Total Highspeed for years and have been very pleased with the service that we have received. They updated our equipment and our internet is a lot faster. We live in a rural area which makes it difficult to get internet but now we can game or watch Net Flex. It is wonderful. They are efficient and polite when dealing with them. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

It was decent when it actually worked right up until the trees bloomed. After that even their Antennas designed to work through trees cannot cope. I only live a mile from their AP and despite the trees I do have line of sight to the tower. They refused to do anything to help other than mount the antenna on the roof via a tripod which with a $14,000 metal roof I was unwilling to do. You know there are other antenna mounts like side of the house poles which they wanted me to pay for. The service was ok although before that they would tinker with the network and leave me without internet from anywhere from 2 days to a week depending on how long they'd take to get a tech out to me. This happened to me 5 or 6 times in the span of 8 or so months. Asked for a credit a couple times after the tech confirmed it wasn't on my end and never got one. For 200$ plus 200+ for install 15$ a month for a public ip so you can host games and another 14$ for the router. for only 4MB of Guaranteed (But posibly 8MB depending on who else is on your tower) I can't reccomend this service to anyone but the most absolute desperate and even then unless you live within half a mile of a good AP and have almost zero trees between you and it you'll never get the money you pay for it.

We started our experience with Ken...we had found a home that we wanted to purchase, but NEEDED internet service. Moving from another state can be very stressful, and not knowing the area, or what may, or may not be available is hard; but Ken reassured me that Total High Speed would do all they could to help. Ken then got a hold of Craig, who conducted a bucket truck survey, and was able to tell us that service would be available if we were to purchase the property. We purchased our home, met with Craig, and Tim, the tower was built, electricity run...and the rest, as they say, is history! Thank you Total High Speed!!

Only been a few days since installation, but so far so good. Wanted DSL but their "network is exhausted" in our area. Considered satellite service, but the two year contracts and the data caps had me nervous. Due to a technician having a medical issue it took two scheduled installation dates, but they did arrive within the time window on the day of install. The installation went very smooth and the tech reviewed several options for mounting and routing the cable so I could choose what I wanted. I have the "up to 4mbps" plan, but am only seeing just over 2mbps which is higer than the guaranteed 1mbps but I had hoped to be closer to the 4mbps. All in all I would highly recommend Total High Speed, so far they have provided everything they have advertised.

Technicians were great--courteous & knowledgeable & hard working. They didn't complain, even though we have a very high, steep roof they had to climb! Would highly recommend this company to everyone-- we have GREAT high speed internet now!!
