Every time we receive service in our home or in their shop we are treated with great customer service. The employees at TLC take pride in their work and it shows. Thank you, especially to Jason Judge and the receptionist for their hospitality.

The relationship started off just fine, with regular maintenance service (AC off/Heat on) last winter and then the switch back this spring. But when the going gets tough, not so much. My AC stopped working last week, they got a technician out same day but they didn't call with notice so I wasn't able to meet him. The technician had to look at the AC and guess, without the power running. Greased/oiled bearings got the fan running again. Great!

Unfortunately, this week the AC is making noise and while not an emergency as of yet, they can't seem to return calls consistently. I have left three messages this week and they only received one call back. I've tried all week to get ahead of this, knowing my schedule would be restricted the following week. Now they tell me that scheduling is my problem, my choices were within the same next 3 hours (too short of notice for me) or I'll have to be there during work hours next week or I'll have to pay 1.5 times the cost in order to have someone come out in the evening or weekends. Worse the scheduling office is arguing with me about whether they called me back this week. Seriously? Either you call or you don't, no phone calls or vmail from them 2 of the days. Scheduling also argued with me about whether it mattered if they called since they were booked out 5 days anyway, as though that's a reason not to call a customer back! And then argued about the fact that they also couldn't accommodate an appointment sooner because they assume it will be a large job. Really? I'd much prefer for them send someone out before you start racking up the dollar signs and time constraints!

I asked to speak to the next level manager. Received call back from next level manager who was much more professional but they were unwilling to offer any other scheduling options. I will take my business elsewhere.

I had some 40 year old plumbing parts that were leaking in two bathrooms. I tried to find those replacement parts here in town and on the Internet to no avail. The pipes needed to be updated and I called plumbing at TLC. I was told that a tech could be available this week (Thursday and Friday) and a short time later Jason M. called me and said he could be at my home in 15 to 20 minutes and I asked him to come. A couple hours later the pipes and plumbing was updated and no more leaking. Thank you TLC and Jason M. for a GREAT JOB! Talk about quick service, doesn't get any better than this!!!

Had them do a remodel on my home that included removing 2 walls, installing 10 inch wood beams and replacing the floor. At first it looked great, however, within a short time the beams warped and within a year a 2 inch gap between the drywall and the beam formed, exposing the attic and an old chimney they did not plug. I don t even want to think about the amount of money I ve spent on heating and cooling with that gap. I could tell the beams were fresh cut when they put them in, with sap still coming out and they had not been dried. I asked the worker if they would warp and he assured me they wouldn t. The LVP floor didn t transition to a carpeted room well and was cut uneven leaving an unsightly gap. I had specifically asked that they have a transition there. In top of that, the beams were so heavy with water weight when they brought them in the house on a hoist they broke a portion of my wood porch and never said anything. Contacted project management and never heard back. When the cost nears $20,000.00 you expect better.

I originally had a few problems but TLC made it right and I ve updated my review. They did a very good job finding a very slow leak under our front yard (a different plumber had previously failed to locate the leak) and they replaced our pipe.

James and Marcus showed up to install a new water heater at my residence. They noticed a propane leak and were able to quickly mitigate the problem making it safe. The overall customer service these gentlemen provided was professional and excellent. I recommend TLC for any plumbing or utility projects.

I called to obtain an inspection report TLC did for a client. The client called in payment in the morning for this service and her card was charged. When I called back in the afternoon I was told the payment was never received. The TLC rep was incredibly rude and acted as though I was lying about the fact my client had called in payment. Turns out they had payment the whole time. No reason for the rudeness. I don't think the owner Dale would have treated a customer this way.

Carlos and his crew was just awesome. Daniel also was very nice and profession. He was honest I feel and knowledgeable. During this crazy time of social distancing they remained respectful, calm, and focused. I felt comfortable having them in my home hooking up my new system. I am very happy with the decision we made and by going with TLC! Thank you all for being amazing!

125 year old house and associated plumbing. Water ...

125 year old house and associated plumbing. Water would not turn off at facet and no valve to turn off water to bathroom. TLC was VERY responsive with our emergency call and kept us updated until Chris Rael arrived. There was nothing that could be done that evening aside from turning water off from the street and managing no water in the house and no heat, due to boiler requiring water.

Chris was clear on options, was great at explaining next steps and set expectations for the next day.

Next day, Chris arrived ... further assessed the situation and options. Options were laid out clear and we ended up having to cap the connections to the tub. No tub until the 125 year old "mess" can be totally ripped and replaced. We do have water to the sink and toilet, which is huge! Chris and team did great work! Very responsive. Very clear and just great customer service. We have water back. We have heat back.

Great work and great customer service. No BS. Thank you Chris and TLC for getting us working again! We appreciate the little things like water and heat!

Caveat emptor - last minute additional fees, unwan...

Caveat emptor - last minute additional fees, unwanted services added, arm-twisting, and the sales agent not paying attention are what I experienced when I tried to use them.

I had called for a quote on a replacement evaporative air conditioner and relieved a quote for $2900. Each time I spoke with Mr. Robles, the sales agent I was working with, I specified the unusual pitch of my roof as well as the need to repair the flashing around the existing unit.
When the day of installation came neither of the techs were aware of these things. When they called in what they needed to do, the quote went from $2900 to over $4000.

While this is an unfortunate mistake on their part, it's not why I am rating them at 2 stars.

This low rating is for the arm-twisting that the sales agent did, as well as the unnecessary services that were added to the initial quote.

When I said I needed a day to think about the additional cost the techs, who had already taken the old broken unit off, offered to just take the unit with them. I agreed to this, thinking that this was a win/win as I didn't want the unit anyway and this way they wouldn't have to waste time hauling that thing back up on the roof.
An hour later when on the phone with Mr. Robles, he said that the fee to have them take the AC was going to be over $200, but IF I continued on with the project it would just be considered part of the original quote.

Now I could see where a small disposal fee would be reasonable but not $200. Not when it was the failure of the sales agent to take into account what I was telling him. To have him use that fee as leverage to continue on with a project whose cost just skyrocketed was enraging. Regretfully I didn't have the presence of mind to just tell Robles to have the techs turn around and put the AC back up on my roof.

Last but not least, even though I had been asking for an itemized invoice of services, it was only after this incident that I finally received it. And it was padded out with services in there that I did not request, such as annual service contracts and a digital thermostat. Neither of which was discussed with me during my request for quote.

For all of this, TLC has lost my trust in them.

Called TLC with a leaking water heater that required shutting off all water to my residence to control flooding. Initially was told they couldn't respond for a week, due to an extremely full schedule. Behind the scenes they continued to look for available technicians, and within 2 hrs I received a call from dispatch informing me technicians would be arriving in less than 24 hours! Travis D and Mike arrived as scheduled, and I couldn't have asked for a more professional team. Extremely knowledgeable, Travis made several suggestions (that I took) to strengthen my setup and increase system-life. Personal cleanliness and care for the area in which they were working was outstanding. Travis was extremely thorough ...and patient while working through the repair diagnosis and cost with my home warranty company. TLC is my "GO TO" company!

A perfect rating for a perfectly job done thanks to Carlos Ramirez, and his team from TLC. The project went smooth and flawless. Carlos is very professional, organized, and so nice to deal with. He thoroughly explained everything to me and kept me informed on progress. I am speechless that the job of coverting swamp cooler to refrigerated air was completed in ONE day!

TLC sent an estimator out to evaluate our home for...

TLC sent an estimator out to evaluate our home for a new swamp cooler and he gave a verbal estimate, then came back in writing with nearly double the verbal price! He claimed to have made an accidental estimate on a cheaper brand of swamp cooler (although the new model he estimated on was only $250 more than the cheaper one, while the price went up more than a thousand dollars!) and then claimed that he was actually giving a discount and it would have actually gone up by $2400!!!

Overall VERY disturbed by the clearly shady prices, the lying he gave in back-and-forth, and the fact that someone whose job it is to make estimates could have been "accidentally" off by thousands of dollars and supposedly not realized.

Called TLC to improve my slowly draining kitchen sink. It took the Tech an hour and a half, but finally he completely blocked the drain.He had been trained by and working for TLC for 9 months but thought I needed new drains installed. Although he assured me some one would call the next day, I heard nothing.

All Out Plumbing came out and in 20 minutes fixed the problem and the drain works well. Bo, the tech, worked for 10 years with TLC and used to train new hires, but left because TLC. He's the real deal!

I don t have any experience with their plumbing service but I do have experience with the people on the phone. We called because our plumbing was backed up. A technician called us back and was very short and rude. No customer service skills at all. He kept stressing the rates and then told me that he had no idea when they would be there. I understood that but he stressed it 4 or 5 Times. I felt like he treated me like an idiot and I didn t feel comfortable with them coming. We ended up calling another company and they were here within minutes. Train your techs on over the phone customer service. If they had been better on the phone we probably would have used this company.

Sunday morning my wife heard a hissing sound in the kitchen that turned out to be a water leak in our kitchen ceiling. I called a different plumbing contractor that we've used in the past but I was told that don't do emergency calls on Sunday. I then called TLC and they had a technician here within two hours. Lawrence was neat, polite and personable. He quickly located the leak in a copper pipe and immediately began the repair which took him about 45 minutes start to finish, including adding a pipe support which was lacking.The repair was done skillfully and neatly and he even cleaned up his work area before leaving. I will definitely use TLC in the future and will recommend them to friends and family!

I LOVE!!!! THIS COMPANY! Efficient, honest, fairly priced, great attitude from everyone! I went to Roto Rooter because TLC was busy and man did I experienced a slap in the face! Roto Rooter will NOT fix your problem unless you buy an extended warranty with the work! TLC did it for $100 with a 90 day warranty, the man that fixed it had a big huge smile on his face and did it in 15 minutes - he even refused a $15 tip! Roto Rooter wanted $$$$500 for the same work but they would guarantee it for three years! Give me a break. There is a reason TLC is such a great Albuquerque business - they KNOW how to do business honestly and right.

Today was the first time we have dealt with TLC. The problem was a clogged main line we needed cleaned out. I called a few other local plumbers, a few big name companies as well before calling TLC. I wish I had called TLC first! No one I had called wanted the work.... As soon a I started to mention a main line clog the other plumbers/companies became "busy." Seriously, like they only wanted easy, quick work.

When I called TLC I was quoted a price up front and scheduled for same day service. Joseph G. (Emergency Drain Response) with TLC showed up at our house a mere two hours after I called. He was very polite and professional. He explained what he found in the main drain line and what he was going to do to fix it. He did his job and fixed our problem quickly.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience after calling other plumbing companies that acted like they didn't want the job... TLC will always have our business, will be who we always call first from now on, when it comes to our plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work needs - thanks to Joseph G. of TLC!

Never used their services so this rating is purely based on their driver leaving the Santa Fe Village neighborhood this morning (License plate 21609A). May have slowed down to 10 mph for the stop sign and then SPED UP to go through the light at Unser and Dellyne that had been red about 6 seconds already. Never a good idea to drive like a jerk in a company vehicle IMO

Travis Day (and his whole crew - Joe, Issac(?), Jr., and others) were awesome. I had used TLC before for a water main break at my own house. He did such a good job and was so friendly, I saved his card. When my mother-in-law had a major water line breakage I called him immediately. They worked long hard hours identifying the problem and gave us several options and advice. We ended up re-plumbing the entire house. They were professional, polite and very friendly. I will call TLC every time.

TLC refuses to fire this employee, who preyed on and stole from a senior living on a fixed income. Keep in mind that the next time you hire TLC, they might be sending a thief into your home.

Great service from my friends at TLC today! I ve utilized them twice before and they came out the same day, diagnosed the issue in under 10 mins and then contacted the city water for me! It was all wrapped up in under and hour and didn t charge for the time. Big shout outs and thanks to Jesus and the whole TLC team for providing another great experience for us from call to fixed.

The team at TLC are an outstanding group of young professionals: from the estimate through to the flick of the switch starting my new a/c. Daniel the estimator was great, he didn t give me the hard up-sell like a used car dealer. He recommended a smaller water heater and an appropriate sized heater/a/c unit. The professionalism continued when Carlos and crew came for the install. These young men were laser focused on the job at hand, no smoking-and-joking. Because my house is over 60-years-old there are a lot of oddball issues: odd wiring, plaster walls, small spaces, etc. Carlos and team are real problem solvers overcoming every issue with an eye toward safety. It s hard when you move to a new town to figure out what HVAC company is good , I am so lucky to have hit gold on my first job. TLC and their professionals are on the top of my contact list.

I was need some new work done and Adam Apodaca was the man. The work I needed was out of the ordinary and required someone with real problem solving skills. He did a great job with minimal distruption. Adam is just another example of why I use TLC for my all my needs.

Worse service ever!! I work for a property manager firm, we utilized them back in the winter for a heating unit. They did not diagnose the job properly so a second call had to be made. They didn't charge me for the 2nd trip, which was great. Now in the summer the AC was giving me issues. I gladly called them again. They told me they would schedule with my tenant within a week. Come to find that they didn't schedule her for 2 weeks. And when her appointment time no one showed up that day when she called they told her the job had been completed. Yet she was still with no AC, they told her she would have to wait another 2 weeks. When I called them to try to figure out where the miscommunication was no one was able to answer my question and I was put on hold for 30 minutes!!!

I ended up sending the work order to another plumber that I utilize.

Disappointed in our last service call. Technician quoted us a price to install smoke detectors and a light fixture in our bathroom. When he came out my wife was the only one home and he increased the price by $135 for the light fixture and he said it wasn't in the original proposal. He also installed only 5 out of 6 smoke detectors because one was tied to the security system. This is fine however he didn't reduce the price by one smoke detector. I feel he was taking advantage of my wife, because he had the opportunity. Very unprofessional for TLC to do that. I understand we will pay a little more for the value that TLC provides but they should not take advantage of people.

TLC installed my new heater and a/c. They were willing to do the project in stages, which was helpful with my work schedule, replacing my old heater and installing a/c coils in January and completing the outdoor portion of the a/c split system in March. The service teams were friendly and professional. They took the time to do it right - making sure equipment was level, holes were cut exactly to size so that the end product would look professional, electrical conduit installed with clean lines and perfect fit, and they didn t rush the a/c line purge (micron filter cleaning). I m the kind of guy who takes extra time on my projects to get it exactly the way I want it and Chico, Carlos R., and Alberto A. really met my expectations.

I had a "rebuild & relocation" of a manifold, performed by Jesus Anchondo on 7/6/19. A massive job, just so that the original dishwasher (upon home being built) could get upgraded, to a new one. Why all our pipes existed, underneath a original dishwasher, is mind boggling. Thankfully, this situation got addressed & literally straightened out, once & for all. Huge Props.

Have had mixed experiences. Despite a couple previous positive and neutral experiences, the most recent time, the operator was rushed and short with me when we set up the appointment. They did not have appointments for 10-14 days and set up a window on Friday for 2-5PM. We called at 4PM to get an update since we had to leave by 5:30 and the operator said she was just getting ready to put a call out to us that he was on his way but he did not call us until 5:40 saying he was on his way. By that time we were had left to something we had planned around their appointment time they had given us. So after waiting two weeks for them to show up, they are late and missed us and now we need to reschedule and probably wait another two weeks and who knows if they will show up or not. Trying our luck with another plumber next time.

Even when it appeared to work again, he spent time to test and retest the system and diagnosed another major flaw that he could address with a simple solution. Thank you for the great work Chris. I've always been a little leary of TLC, because I've dealt with them in the work environment, and I knew that they were a little pricey. I've also learned that you get what you pay for. And I can't say enough good things things about TLC! Our almost-20 year old evap cooler died, in August's triple digit heat. I have respiratory problems and 3 indoor dogs, so going the traditional route of ordering the replacement and then scheduling the installation and all that jazz wasn't going to cut it. We needed an immediate replacement. We didn't think we were going to get it, but we were hopeful. Called TLC at 8:00am, and about 45 minutes later, the crew of Brandon Saiz and Morrison Garcia were at the door. They assessed the job quickly and presented the estimate for replacement. When we inquired about a higher horsepower motor for the unit, Brandon added it without changing the estimate price! That's unheard of! Brandon and Morrison hauled off the old unit, and by 1:00pm, the new unit was installed and cooling our house again. And they cleaned up so well, no one would ever be able to tell they were there at all! So, yes, it was a little bit more costly than a competitor might have been, but you're not going to get the speed, quality, courtesy, and level of customer service they provided at bargain basement prices. TLC has just earned a loyal customer!

Alberto is fabulous. He came to our house during an emergency and was so kind and reassuring. He recently came back to help us identify why we had a huge power bill. He s so helpful and courteous. He makes things easy to understand and spends time going over things with us.

TLC did some plumbing work in my home on 10-1-19. They repaired a waterline leak under my stairs, installed a water softener system and cleaned my second story drains.
i had called TLC to have my water leak fixed. While on their website, i signed up for a water softener quote. Jay called me within a few minutes of completing my online request. He was extremely knowledgeable about the system they carry and explained the savings I would get using their water softener exchange program. He even contacted the technician that was scheduled to repair my waterline and asked if he could install the softener at the same time.
James Crespin came to my house and went to work fixing my water leak. In addition to the existing water leak, he found another section of my water line that was in very bad shape. He expertly removed both sections of pipe and replaced them. He also contacted the TLC dispatch and requested a drain technician to come to my house to discuss the problems i was having with my sewer drains. Once the waterlines were repaired and tested, James went to work installing the water softener in my garage. He even helped me move some boxes to make room for the softener and keep it clear of my furnace and water heater.
Shortly after James started work in my garage, Irvin Alvidrez arrived to look at my sewer drains. I explained the problems I was having and he went to work snaking the pipes.
Jay even came by my house to drop of a part for the softener and make sure we were happy with the system they were installing. By the end of the day, all of our plumbing was working perfectly and we were enjoying soft water again after 10+ years without a softener system.
I highly recommend TLC to anyone looking for plumbing services. They are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Jay, James and Irvin are awesome!
