Very nice hotel, ideally located by the sea, with swimming pool. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and of a good size. Too bad to have enjoyed a view on the terrace of the building! Lovely staff and great care. The breakfasts are exquisite. To have a good stay.

Well located hotel in Miami. Rooms are not very large (is a renovated hotel), but has everything you can expect from a 4 star hotel. Great pool etc and located close to the beach. If you come by car it is good to know that they only have valet parking. Is a bit more expensive (more than 40 dollars a day), but parking in Miami is not cheap at all. The employees are friendly and customer oriented.
We booked online we came to the hotel they gave us the worse room ever you feel like in jail with city biew actually blocked with orher building omg we paid a lot of money for nothing the worse experience ever and the wose ever that the manager said if you want take your money snd go we re coming all the way from houston it was the biggest mistake that we trust and we paid for this bad customer service snd this terrible room
I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYBODY STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR IT TO BE THAT EXPENSIVE IT DONT HAVE A MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM THE SAME WATER YOU FLUSH WITH IS THE SAME WATER THEY WANT YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS WITH AND YOU CANT HAVE THE TV VOLUME PASS 4 after 12 midnight it s very cheap hotel in quality so I don t know why they charge that much I WOULD BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN THE PALM HOTEL & SPA ON COLLINS AVE
The palms hotel and spa was very nice place to stay at during this pandemic, when I first arrived I was greeted by the valet and they have a system when you are ready to leave the hotel you cab text a code to a ph. No. And they will being your car within 10 minutes. The reception was very friendly and nice. The pool and outside area was also very nice and clean. The staff is friendly. Room was completely sanitized and sealed you can even smell the sanitizer all over the hall way. The only thing that I wasn t happy about that I asked for a crib for my baby for three times until they provides to me they kept telling me that it was already put in but it s nowhere to be found, eventually the mngr came up and brought it. Love the place
All very expensive. Extra charge after check out without any reason. When requesting the full invoice to verify the fee charged I received no response. Not a reliable hotel.
First day, went for lunch at the restaurant near pool. Took 45 minutes to get our lunches, there was only 1 other table with customers... the fries were cold, the grilled chicken was obviously not recently cooked because it was barely warm. No decaf coffee. We were 5 people.. all same issues with food. Waiter was very nice. Room, its average. No robes, had to call for them. Room wasn't cleaned until I was getting ready to go out at night and couldn't let her in since I was using bathroom and getting dressed. I have to say that although I did not really like the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful.
I WOULD RETURN ITSELF VERY GENTILE ITS PERSONNEL NEAR MIAMI TURISTICO, OCEAN DRIVE AND LINCOLN ROAD AND QUICK ROUTES TO MIA SAWGRASS ADVENTURE AND ORLANDO
Rooms were clean but dated and very small. Chips and holes in the paint/plaster in the hallways. Next to no noise insulation. Another couple was arguing a room over and we could hear every word. Pool area is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The WORST part though was the valet service, which scratched up my leather steering wheel (deep enough cuts that cannot be repaired without replacing that section of the leather). I don't know how, maybe the keys were in the valet's hand or something, grinding up against it. I brought it to the attention of the hotel and they agreed to file a claim and fix it when they contacted me 4 days after I left. I finally got an estimate from the dealer to repair it, but calls to the manager have not been returned.
Loved "The Palms Hotel & Spa". Everything is very clean, property is beautiful. Especially outside by the pool, beautiful gardens. Food was ok, could be better. Rooms were beautiful! Always turned fresh sheets. Right on the beach! Would definitely go back!
If anyone out there is looking for deals for hotels and resorts browse through . reserved a hotel room on there and these guys had the absolute best prices any where!
I love this place! You can come with your significant other and relax! The rift raft is limited and you can have the filing of being on a island but walk outside to the city life. Im coming back for sure and hopefully sooner than later.
Great location, staff is excellent; Use the free Miami trolly system to get to areas in south beach for restaurants. Thank you to the front dress ( Anna T) for helping us with our room!
Agree w other posting. Beautiful hotel, treatment by bellman and valets are horrible. Reasons as follows: bellman abandon you "checked in" luggage at front of building in their carts, you must watch youself, next parking is suppose to be $27/ day for residents, charged 37/day on bill, had to fix this. Next when attempting to protect our own luggage in a cart bellman forcebly took cart (jerked) out of my hands "do not touch", finally hotel cared every item inside mini fridge to account even though not used only touched to see what was there, had to have $550 in mini bar charges removed from bill. watch out, untrustworthy hotel in my opinion.
The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach was a good choice. Unfortunately, I only spent one night there and I would happily spend more. Delicious breakfasts, fresh fruit, beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Very comfortable beds, ocean view amazing especially at sunrise.
This is one of the nicest quiet hotel 2 miles from Lincoln Mall. When arriving at the hotel the entrance looks nice and refreshments are available in the lobby area and valet area. PARKING This is Miami finding a parking spot to park your car is tough so we use the valet its 41 dollars for 24 hrs in the garage which is not bad if you think about it. It's a 8 min walk to find a public parking. Plus if your flying here there's no need for a car especially a free trolley service and uber/lyft is around offering service to Miami beach area. ROOM The room is fairly outdated, the carpet looks 8 yrs old, the room was small, there is two separate shower room and toilet, the room was not well lit, there is a mini bar fridge with snack that requires small fee. The shower is nice and strong water comes out, and it's attached to the ceiling so it felt like rain comes out. The bathroom are really small, and closing the door was fairly one of them two doors and you can see a peek in between. The tv is fairly nice, a flat Samsung tv attached flat to the wall. Overall the room is small but cleaned and it don't matter the size anyway because the 90% of your time is spent outdoors anyway. HOTEL AND RESTAURANT The hotel spa is Aveda so the bathroom amenities is Aveda which is cool. The pool is fairly small and there's so many lounge chair in the area that you feel exclude from the crowd, and surrounded by the palm trees so there's barely a sun in the pool area. There is a gym on the basement floor and a bathroom separate. This hotel is accessible to the beach with a complimentary towel and chair outside which is part of the daily hotel fees. Don't forget to catch the happy hour, which the staff makes really good drinks, and if you happen to catch Isaac he makes really good drinks. The I do recommend their crispy chicken wings consist of three dipping sauce. The hotel staff are nice and friendly, and some are from other international countries.
Overall I do recommend staying at this hotel even though its 2 miles from the Lincoln Mall. Also I do wish they have coffee refreshments in the morning.
Quick update though. My group extended our stay by one evening and the name was changed on the reservation. I was out swimming in the pool when I came back in and was not able to get into the room. I went to the front desk and asked for my key to be activated. The night clerk (forgot her name, starts with a G) was adamant that I was not in the room, to the point of being rude. We even bet that I was in room 531. I had to call several people in my company, wake them up, to find out what was going on. When my coworker came down the clerk realized her mistake. I did not make her pay the $5 bucks but I should have. She did not apologize about keeping me there in a robe for over 30 minutes. She walked away without even saying goodnight. So an otherwise nice stay was turned sour by that interaction.
My first visit to The Palms was perfect and I will return. I needed a long weekend getaway from the snowy northeast. The Palms sits directly on the beach/ocean with fabulous views from the oceanfront rooms. The beach and pool chairs are high end with towel and drink service. There's a lovely and safe boardwalk that runs directly behind the hotel so guests can walk and jog throughout the day. I visited the Aveda Spa and had a massage with Michelle. Michelle has excellent massage technique and the spa rooms are high end. The music is spot on. The steam room was relaxing after a day in the sun. The spa manager Hailey is professional, friendly, and accommodating. The on site restaurant has excellent food and service with a lovely covered porch with tropical fans overlooking the pool area. The Palms is an easy shuttle ride from the Miami airport. There is a Starbucks one block away. You can get to South Beach in minutes. If you need to make a special request for your reservation, call manager Erwin, he's excellent. I highly recommend it!
Outstanding service! Rates were great, rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional from top down and they took COVID protection measures very seriously. The pool and beach were awesome! Blocks from SOBE but far enough to have a laid back and chill feel. We highly recommend The Palms!
Beautiful facilities and friendly staff. Our ocean view room was small but comfy. Food at the beach and the pool was standard fare. Beach chairs and umbrellas are complementary and service was good. Hotel is right on the boardwalk, making for easy walks down to South Beach. Nearby market and liquor store on the street.
4 times I was at the hotel everything was fine, but the last visit wasn t upset, it s just a shame that I stayed there, the manager doesn t know what he is doing, I don t recommend this hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is delicious and fresh with a great variety! The location is close enough to walk to all the famous and interesting spots in Miami beach. But also far away from it to get some rest and quiet time. The rooms are all in a very modern and good condition. The pool and private beach section are really beautiful and nice to relax! Recommended is to try the tiki bar and the great Cocktails they mix!
It was AMAZING! The beach is beautiful and warm and lovely to swim in it is the perfect spot to go on vacation I %100 recommend this beautiful resort! The first time me and some family members stayed at this hotel it was for 10 days and we got a beautiful room and they gave us a plate of food welcoming us into the Hotel room. Oh and did I mention the cleaning lady cleaned out room very well and left chocolate under our pillows every time we left the hotel room. The pool was very pretty the sand was very soft and relaxing. The pool had this service where they had food and drinks and the food was very good the chefs cook very well! The hotel has a beautiful design and it s very stylish and comfortable! The beach service is also amazing, me and my mom ordered food and the food tasted amazing the prices of food and other things in this hotel may cost you a pretty penny but I can for sure tell you that it is worth it because me and my mom stayed there for 3 times and did not doubt going to this hotel.
The hotel has a great location in Miami Beach and is a great base for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and our sea view room had a great view of the beach and sea. If you have a Mietwafen, this can be safely parked by Valetparkservice. We had to wait 5 minutes for the car. The cruise port is about 25 minutes / about 35 USD by taxi. The restaurant offers a good breakfast buffet and a beautiful south-facing terrace overlooking the tropical garden. The garden is not huge but offers enough space to relax after an eventful day. The dinner is also offered in the hotel, but is - as usual - rather expensive. The same applies to cocktails, beer and wine in the evening. For 1 small (very tasty!) Hamburger with fries (nice a directed) and a glass of wine are quickly reached $ 30. But this is also normal / ok in US hotels of this category. We will be back!
This is a lovely hotel with a friendly staff. The room itself is my major complaint. We stayed in an ocean front, superior king, which is certainly not the cheapest room. The room lacks a balcony or even a window that opens, which was very disappointing. The bathroom is very strange, with the toilet in one room and the shower in another. Additionally, the toilet is close to the bed with very little sound insulation. This is not the room you want for a romantic get-away. I also hate the toilet, which has a built-in sink. The idea is you wash your hands in the water that fills your toilet. Also, the temperature in the room never dropped below 71, despite what you set the thermostat at. I like to sleep in a temperature below that, especially on vacation. We visit Miami several times each year. This just isn t the place for us. We have has better experiences in other comparably priced hotels.
This hotel needs better management from higher up. While the night assist. manager was helpful ,room service too., the day staff never smiled..seemed nervous..not very professional..flailing. . Everything about the hotel seems less then what you would expect by looking at it. Unfortunately, oddly, there is no real food it's all quick lunch sandwiches so dont come expecting dinner in your room. Unless u like burgers. .the grounds are lovely and the views are spectacular but we were actually awakened at 9 a.m. by workers pounding in the room above us. That was very disappointing. Vacations aren't cheap and we spent some time planning to come down to the Palms. I might return if i thought better organization was coming with real food.
This Hotel is amazing, customer service is awesome, the beach side and the pool are as well of the top. The room was very clean, I was able to bring my dog, IDK if is allow by the hotel but mine is a service dog, I thought the food was going to be extra expensive but it's not, same as the drinks. Pool is open 24 hours, It feels like a 5 starts hotel. The only I thing I didn't like was the room's bathroom, the toilet is separate from the shower and the sink. Also the receptionist was not informative and very dry, I had to figure out myself what was going on at the moment of check in and check out.
When first got to the pool we had a waiter that promptly greeted us and took our order. We order some drinks, sliders, and chips&salsa. It took our chips 50 MIN to come out. Our waiter never came over to refresh our drinks or to check on us at all. Then we waited another 45 for our sliders. Finally we waved him down (as he was walking by our table and didn t even look at us),and asked him about our sliders were. He looked through his note pad and said he didn t put them in. Without apologizing for wasting our time or forgetting to put in our order he said ok, well. would you like to close? .. we got our bill and realized that he gets an automatic 15% gratuity and that is why he didn t care about our service. For the amount of money we are paying to stay here the service was not on par. The rooms are very small and not accommodating. Very disappointed.
A great vacation spot for my loved one and I! They took excellent care of us during our stay. We particularly enjoyed walking the surround boardwalk, the beautiful pool area, and the meals were exquisite. Staff were friendly, orderly, and went above and beyond for us.
My cousin and I was at the spa this past weekend and the ladies at the front desk Andrea and Sophia were extremely professional. The ladies did everything in their power to make sure we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and spa for your massage and relaxation needs. Yuly and Brenton were excellent as well in making sure we got the massages we deserved. Everyone from the waiters to the guys handing out the towels were extremely professional. We will definitely return. Great little get away!
I liked the hotel in all its aspects its value for money, its pool area, its beach, the warm attention of its staff, and its convenient location for all central displacement,
