We really had nothing to complain about. The service at the front desk was first class. Our flight was very late, but we could still use the pool to the time to bridge.

Amazing Place, amazing people, amazing food and drinks!!! I loved and recomend 100% sure Iwill be back there to stay more days with my husband !!! Thank you!

The Hotel is located in the Art Deco section of South Beach and it was a delightful get away. It is near the beach ( short walking distance). The staff was courteous and made us feel comfortable. The poolside food was a little pricey but delicious. Great customer service at both bar areas. There is a bar by the pool and down off the lobby. The pool has a whirlpool area on one end. It was nice to come back to the hotel and relax in one of the two social areas the hotel has. There is an adjoining gated outdoor area complete with fountain and a rooftop seating by the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to returning.

Tranquility in garden was brutally bashed by way too loud and very bad radio music. Proprietor or waiter just did not want to turn it off when asked, which in itself is a huge turn off. NEVER go to this place and never spend time or money here. They don t know what customers want, and if customers indicate what they want themselves, the waiters and owners just don t care.

Hotel good, clean, well located and organized. The reception staff are very attentive, they speak Spanish and Portuguese. The room is very smelly and full!

Excellent service! Beautiful location, close to everything. Room very clean. This is not a hotel with activities, it is rather quiet. I went there in the week of August 14th. No activity except a pool open until 20h max. (not too big) A restaurant-bar with 0 people inside. But, the hotel guide at the front desk referred us to the 5 * restaurants we loved and enjoyed. The air conditioning in the room must be adjusted because on one side (the bed near the window) we were cold, the bed near the door, we were well, we had to switch. But, we slept well all the same. It echoes in the room. This is not a 5 * hotel. Fortunately, I heard only 2 people during my 4-day stay.

Great location and they have done a great job of updating this hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very impressive when we first entered; comfortable bed and the bathroom was nice. Glad to have the room safe.

The window treatments were very nice looking but boy were they a pain in the neck to open in the mornings. Our TV never worked in the room. We were too busy to deal with it but that is something housekeeping should check each day in every room.

Their roof top pool was a nice size ... I didn t quite get the bubbles at the one end but we just stayed at the other end and it was fine.

The price for FL residents during September (and thru the week) was great and we would do it again.

Perfect in the side street (8.) to Ocean Drive with parking garage also only one street (7.) next. Small but clean rooms with nice atmosphere! Highly recommended and not expensive!

We have stayed at The Hotel many times over the last 3 years. We absolutely love the location and have had excellent service every time.
Extra thanks to Luis the Reservations Manager for all his help making our anniversary extra special and John the Concierge for his assistance as well.

Beautiful hotel and perfect staff. Unfortunately the breakfast, despite their enormous good will, is really not good ... too bad.

Great hotel, great staff! Located in the heart of South Beach, this classic hotel looks to be recently renovated, offering perfect, modern and clean accommodation in Miami Beach. Located near Ocean Drive, but not too loud, with acceptable priced parking nearby. Great rooftop pool with sea view and bar (buy one get free drinks during happy hours), also complimentary chairs and towels on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was our first stay in this hotel, but definitely not the last one!

The reception staff were great but the room itself was quite basic. The windows were shaded so you couldn't see out, also it was broken so you couldn't open it. We could hear people speaking in the next rooms. I had a do not disturb on the door but had the cleaners banging the vacuum (I'm guessing it was that) against the door.

I really like this hotel! The lobby is so spacious. There's a roof top pool, and guest beach chairs and towels are awaiting at the beach. Beautiful outside porch. My room was spacious, and very clean, with a nice roomy bathroom. The location was perfect for accessing the beach, as well as shops. Lastly, the price was so very nice and affordable. I highly recommend The Hotel of south beach!

Fantastic location on / by Ocean Drive in a lovely art deco building. Rooms were fine, staff were very helpful. Parking easier than I thought. Would definitely recommend this place for any South Beach stay.

The location and friendliness of staff can t be beat. The standard and couture rooms are the only downside to this hotel. If you re a light sleeper you may want to pay the extra to upgrade to a suite.

A beautiful garden area for sitting and enjoying the outdoors, very nice & clean rooms. Beautifully appointed, wonderful architecture, a very nice roof-top pool and hot tub, close to everything 'South Beach' and because of all this, we enjoyed our stay !!

Perfect for a short break. Small cozy rooms with safe, minibar, TV and free wifi. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. On the roof there is a pool and a bar. There is a really nice, cozy terrace where food and drinks are served.

You are right in the party zone of Miami Beach. Yet the location is in the most prettiest area. Room was spacious. It was clean but not spotless. Especially the minibar was disgusting dirty. Laundry service failed terrible (Took more than 48 h and needed multiple reminders and ultimately personal pickup). The pool is definitely an asset. Umbrella and chairs at the beach are indeed included (but you have to argue with the unaware staff). In general the staff was friendly but not all of them are knowledgeable and trained which results in a below-average guest experience. If management could work on that the Hotel could rank 4/5*

We just stayed here in February 2019. It was our first visit to Miami Beach. The location was fantastic. The staff was great and truly cared that we enjoyed our stay. For the service and immediate proximity to the beach (it's right acroas the street) I highly recommend it. You can't go wrong here. If at all possible ask for a room in the front overlooking Ocean Drive. It was amazing.

We came here in January 2016 and had a wonderful stay. When we booked our honeymoon cruise out of Ft Lauderdale, we wanted to extend to delay returning to cold, snowy MD, and we didn't think twice about returning here. Great location, comfy rooms, reasonable price, and terrific service!

Natasha at the front desk has no personality, is rude and has no place working in the hospitality industry. Read other reviews that echo that sentiment.

Very nice hotel, but the bathrooms are a bit dated.

Great location, professional, helpful staff. Request a room off the main Collins front. It was super noisy. We we're fortunate that a room came available which allowed us to move to a quieter side of the hotel.

Staff is probably the most accomodating and friendly staff of any place I've ever stayed and the rooms are great with beach side balconies you can see everything on ocean drive

Great all around. Location is prime. Good deal on parking and beach pass. Clean, nice people and good value.

The place is ok but they do not have a private parking rhen the biggest suites are in a second buulding that you have access on it only inside another a cofee/bar/restaurant, at least they had to put a bridge or somehing so people can have only a unic entry point because the hotel is not cheap at all !

The rooms are clean, well equipped. The location of the hotel is very good, it is 1 minute to Ocean Dr and 2 minutes to the ocean. Nearby shops, restaurants, breakfasts, cafes, 7eleven. WiFi worked well. The view from the roof is beautiful, the pool is not too large, but at a good temperature. The employees were very kind and helpful, our big favorite was Milena from the bar. The only negative thing about soundproofing is that every room in the neighboring room has crossed, the room below us came up at dawn to walk quieter on the floor because they can't sleep. However, the street noise can not be heard.

Visited the restaurant for an evening meal and found the food and staff nice. The prices are quite reasonable for the area with a good choice of food options. Lovely setting just off ocean drive even if you just wanted a cocktail.

Nice hotel, beautiful decor, fabulous location, and the staff is helpful, however, the rooms are TINY. The bathroom is TINY. Big people will have a hard time staying here! However, if you can make peace with the very small accommodation, it's a great spot to stay!

Excellent staff. Rooms have modern, unique designs. I'm very happy to be sleeping on a good mattress. Free wifi. Rooftop pool has a decent view of the beach. I would definitely come back!

Quiet hotel, very short walk to food/music/drinks and the beach. Rooms were just right sized and stylish for the price.

Pulled into valet but no one was there. The room was very eccentric but I guess it's supposed to look dated? The bathroom was very small. My husband and I couldn't both brush our teeth at the same time. No q tips in bathroom. My husband took a towel off the rack and the whole rack fell off. Thankfully we were only staying one night. I tried to open the curtain. I'm guessing it was just for show because it was very hard to pull up and it wouldn't stay up. It just kept falling back down. The AC thermostat was very dated. Word of advise. Hold the arrow down for it a minute for it to work. We only had three very flat pillows and the drawers on the room wouldn't shut. They would slide open and stay there. Make sure you really shut the door to the room. We thought it was shut but you touch the door and it popped wide open. And the mirrors. I couldn't be anywhere in the room without a mirror in my face. Maybe to make the room not feel so small? Very weird. Went to the beach. The front desk said someone would be out there to give us chairs and towels. Stood by the towels for a while but no one came. The "towel" boy was sitting chatting with the girl in the drink stand ignoring us. They don't even give you umbrellas. You have to rent them. When we checked out no one helped us with our luggage. The front desk staff was friendly. But that's the only positive for me. Everything else was sub par.

Very nice, good service and small pool but heated and with good happy hour not only drink if not so good food. They also lend you towels for the hammocks. Good sunset and illuminated pool. The pool waitress ea super nice

The hotel is right near the beach and all of the restaurants. The artsy atmosphere was very enticing. The pool was way too small to enjoy. There was a mix up with our bed and breakfast package but the manager Ken Tutt was more than helpful and even upgraded our room too.

We did not stay the hotel. But we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. I took beef steak medium rare grilled, green salad and fruity red wine. By the way, we visited Miami Beach in the beginning of March. It was very warm and sunny in day time. But it became chilly in night time. You should wear any jacket or cardigan.

Edmund, the concierge, was amazing. He was friendly, explained the layout of South Beach to us, and our sightseeing options. The front desk was likewise very responsive, moving us to a different room when we reported bugs in the bathroom.

So like many other hotels on Collins Ave, this one is also outdated. But it's still a very nice place to stay. It's in a prime location if you want to be by the beach but also want to sleep peacefully at night, because ocean drive can get quiet loud. There is also a rooftop pool and bar area. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would book it again if I were to visit again
