Horrible experience, the rooms are outdated. They wouldn t let us cancel one of the nights. The area is not all that. The staff was rude. They open the door on us when we had don or disturb, you talk to the staff and they don t answer you back. We just rebooked another hotel for the stay in Miami.

The pool and beach access is beautiful. The rooms are really small and the hotel is not near Miami night life.

We were in room 514 and I can honestly say that I can't recommend that room. The door seems to have no soundproofing and the toilet ran all last night. The housekeeping staff was super friendly. The tiki bar waiters and beach club staff were great. Essencia for breakfast was a big disappointment, but it was included in our stay so we ate there. It is a beautiful, low-key hotel, but not for us in the future.

Awsome hotel, clean, friendly staff, quick room service, beautifully decorated rooms and lobby. We will be back soon, totally worth the price.

While it is very out of my character to complain, I do need to make a few things known to future guests and management. We stayed at this establishment for a wedding and attended a rehearsal dinner here. When the dinner was coming to an end, the event staff began cleaning up before all guests belongings were removed from the table. Within 10 minutes of clean up my dates formal coat was taken from the table by event staff. A team lead said that he gave the jacket to "her" pointed, and left the room. This "her" was actually the bride who was never spoken to by the team lead, the jacket was never turned in to the front desk, and the front desk did absolutely nothing to help get in contact with the event staff to locate the missing belonging when they were pulled into the situation with 20 minutes of it happening. Also, when we checked out of our room, an item was left behind in the closet hanging on a hanger. We called within 24 hours and were told that the room had not been rented since and that staff would check the closet and call back within 15 minutes. This 15 minutes led to 5 follow ups with hours in between. Most times we were left on hold until the answering service just hung up. I could truly understand if this happened in an establishment without the reputation of The Palms, but this was truly disappointing. I have never experienced such a lack of personal service especially considering the price that we paid to experience a level of extra care.

This establishment is the most aesthetically near perfect hotel I have stayed at to date. The food is wonderful, the bar staff is impeccable the entire hotel was cleaned to perfection.... therefore, it truly disappoints me that I have to highlight this negative situation.

Love the beach side service. Would like to see the rooms have a balcony but the service was great. It has direct beach access. There was kite surfing while we stayed which was fun to watch. It s just 7min from Lincoln rd shopping and maybe 10min from south beach ocean drive. It s very family friendly and more of a tranquil atmosphere. Not the raging party animal that south beach is. Not too many places to eat within walking distance.

I came all the way from LAX to stay at this hotel, and I did not get a room. I have booked prior to my arrival, and the hotel manager mentions that the hotel policy does not allow you stay at this hotel. I am currently in Miami and have no place to go since all the other hotels are full because of spring break.

Good hotel. Nice pool. Staff is pleasant and organized. Vallet Parking is expensive.

Mediocre room for $300 per night, moving fixtures in the bathroom, obnoxious floor plan. One of the elevators was broken so there was literally a queue in order to get in to working one. One of the days room was just getting cleaned at 1730 and they told us to walk around and come back in 15 minutes. If you want to park your car your have to pay $41 per night. Pool and Beach was very nice though.

Hotel is beautiful, gorgeous garden/pool area, nice view, very friendly staff. Only downside is thin walls in the rooms, can hear room next door quite easily.

Really, really lovely hotel with very friendly front desk staff, nicely appointed rooms, a great beach and pool area and an ok bar/restaurant. Perfect area to stay to wander the boardwalk to south beach and not too far from the airport

Lovely hotel and friendly staff.
Oceanfront room got a nice view over the beach and you can even see the sunrise in front of your window. But the king bed room does not have a balcony or a window which I can open (I understood it might for safety reasons). It is a shame that you cannot enjoy the view with the calming sound of the ocean.

And the hotel overused the fragrance which was too strong. But it might not be an issue for most of others.

My complaint is mainly about the air conditioner. It made a loud noise every 1 or 2 hours and this noise woke me up in the midnight a few times.

Really love the design of separate the toilet and the shower space. The room was not very spacious and I think the corridor wasted a bit space. But not bad if I compared to the hotel rooms in UK.

The location is ok, though a bit away from the central south beach. It s quiet enough on the beach but not silent that might scare you. The only disadvantage is less choice for restaurants and the hotel restaurant can be quite pricey. But there were free trolley bus stop just a few steps from the hotel and getting a Uber in Miami Beach was quite fast and convenient. And manageable walking distance if you prefer walking.

I was planning to try the spa but didn t have got enough time.

Been there for 10 years straight. Lovely staff, and love the pedicures. But the bad thing is the bar. It smells like a horse stable with extra poop. Also another time I was there, there was poop in the pool. The pool is always cloudy and I find gross things in there.

A gorgeous hotel, yet the front desk misrepresented about a small charge and the manager obviously doesn't believe that the customer is always right. Everyone short of the manager was polite, courteous and friendly. I truly loved the hotel otherwise, but be prepared for a 4 PM check-in, no exceptions that I'm aware of, but an offer of a $20 shower near the pool if you cannot wait for your room. $42 for parking, $28 "hotel fee"...hmmm, so what's the room charge for if you have to pay another random fee? I don't know about you, but I HATE being nickeled and dimed. I guess it's like a baggage fee on a plane, or dealer prep when you buy a car? On a positive note, the room was beautifully appointed and quite comfortable. The bathroom was spotless but tiny. I'm only 5'6" and my knees when pooping were touching the wall in front of me. I practically had to stand in the corridor to pee. Very comfy and cozy bed, great TV, but hotel mgmt, treat your customers fairly and honestly.

We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa the first two nights in Miami. They had a restaurant, tiki bar at the pool, beach service, chair, umbrellas and towels included in the resort fee. This hotel has an Aveda Spa that I didn t use personally but it looked beautiful! Rooms were on the smaller side but clean, comfortable and the pool / beach area made up for it! I do just wish there was more room for two people to put their luggage somewhere. I would highly recommend making reservations for dinner at The Versace Mansion, which is a quick Uber away. Wow, what an experience!!

I had an amazing time, most relaxing vacation, I couldn't believe I was still in North America. The hotel was beautiful and the gardens near the pool are spectacular. It was also right on the beach and the service was beyond any expectation I had, even for a 4-5 star hotel. Would definitely go back!

The rooms have an amazing view and are very spacious, and the hotel itself is an amazing spot, right next to the beach!

Great service. Clean facility. Not over crowded. Highly recommend for an on the ocean hotel. Only bummer is no balconies or windows that open.

We had a great stay. The only "but" would be that it was three of us in the two-bed room and it was quite a small room for three people. Other than that it is a very cute hotel, well-located with direct access to the beach. If I go back to Miami I would go back to the palms hotel.

Great hotel It has a pool, direct access to the beach, room with all amenities, including coffee maker and coffee. The attention is very good. One day we ate on the beach, the food was taken to the sunbeds and the price for 2 people was very good, about 55 dollars, and we had some food left over.

It is large with a huge garden and a large swimming pool but it is cold inside

Hotel is absolutely beautiful! Great beach front location. Awesome location for a gorgeous wedding. Beaches here are way cleaner than California s beaches. My bf is from Mexico City but the people here had bad attitudes for some reason when he spoke back to them in Spanish. But the hotel staff were ALL awesome, especially when we checked-in w/ Hannah! We arrived at 7am and she got us a room super early. Thanks Hannah, you re the best!

A very nice hotel. Excellent service - Clean - Quiet - Nice garden and beach - Very good location - Supermarket and restaurants nearby. With the free trolley you can get everywhere.

Amazing, stunning beautiful & charming resort/hotel on Miami beach. The staff , food & service is exceptional.

Stayed here this past week on my first visit to Miami, and the staff food drinks and stay was excellent experience. All reasonable priced for a vacation on a budget I think this hotel fits in well.

Sadly we had a bad experience, our massage therapist wouldn t take us in or reschedule it for later, because we were 10 minutes late for our massage, we had to talk to someone by the pool due to an overcharge and was raining.

I want to start by saying that this is a beautiful hotel and is in a perfect location in Miami Beach. The way I was treated was very undesirable. I stayed there from April 28th trough May 1st. The first night I got there, I took a shower and water spilled out all the way to the room hallway. I did not notice until I walked out and almost fell down tweaking my hip and was in little pain. Since I had to leave for an event I did not report it until the next morning. The cleaning lady came the next morning and I told her, she apologized and said she would report it. I went ahead and went to your front desk to report it, no apology, your rep just said will send someone. I left it at that. I came back later that night and the problem was not fixed. The cleaning lady in the afternoon was more receptive and got on the phone and got on the phone and report it the incident and had maintenance fix the problem. She apologized on your behalf and said someone from management would contact me. Never got a call. On Thursday, I had an important event in Miami and came back to the hotel just in time to shower and get on the road. I went to your gift shop to grab something to eat since I am diabetic. There were two ladies in there doing inventory. They saw me come in, never was I acknowledge. Waited for 5 minutes feeling unappreciated and left with no acknowledgment of my presence. On Friday I wanted a late checkout and was flat-out told no. I expressed my displeasure to your front desk. Someone later on called me to reiterate that in fact I couldn't check out later. Tried to apologize for any inconvenience but offer nothing on return. Nothing! Unless you work on improving your customer experience and make it unique, I don't see why the board to NBC, Telemundo or Billboards should use you again. Oscar Meza, room 1009

Went to visit a friend. The lobby was extremely nice and so was the room . the room was smaller than I expected it to be though

It s quiet and very appealing if you don t want or need the boom boom scene of some of the party hotels on Miami Beach. It s not going to wow you but the accommodations are good. The beach is ok but not up to bar with the Fontainebleau beachfront. The restaurant in the hotel is good, awesome breakfast.

Nice hotel and quality service. Pool a bit small considering the number of rooms, but very nice. The gym / fitness room is a little "old fashioned" but it still allows to practice a complete session. Beautiful restaurant, pleasant setting.

Over charged in the spa - transparent pricing is a really basic thing. Tell your clients what they will be paying ahead of time - you can't just add on extra costs - that isn't fair and its very very poor practice.

My wife and I had a weekend getaway that was absolutely perfect!! Red at the front desk was so helpful and wonderful. The rest of the staff was great as well. Views of the ocean were fantastic and the Hotel was great. We didn t even leave the property on Sunday because it was an oasis for us. We ate at all of their restaurants. Great food!! Thanks to the Palms and their staff for making our weekend so great!! We will be back!!

Shower smelled of mold. Food is moderately overpriced. A/C worked great and staff were friendly.

The room was tiny. So small it did not have a real closet. The essentia drinks and our margarita were bad. Dinner and breakfast were not good. Staff was rude. Very pretty location.

The room is way too small. I have two 28' suitcases and I did not have place to stand after I opened the suitcases.
The room is not quiet. I can hear people in the hallway walking back and forth. Really a big noise and I cannot sleep for a second. What is worse. The noise from the elevator is disturbing me from day to night. Now I got a serious headache.

There are 0 room available. Front desk told me they can do nothing. No compensation. So I have to stay at the bad room.

What a bad new year eve. I hope I can forget it soon.

The Palms Hotel & Spa was good! The staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel was gorgeous. The food tasted great, and the beach was really close to the the hotel. I am so glad that I chose this hotel for my stay. I am definately coming back to this hotel.

Worst hotel experience with bad view room though paid for good view...Never trust this hotel while online booking!!

We did a girl's trip for Mother's day and my Birthday weekend. Beautiful rooms and decor. The hotel and staff, along with the whole atmosphere, makes you feel like you're in the Caribbean. I'm definitely going back for a longer stay.

Had an appointment at the spa for bridal hair styling and make up. Unfortunately the make up artist of the hotel wasn't there. But they found a solution and called someone else (self-employed girl). I was super satisfied. The hair stylist is such a cool person and the make up artist is such a sweet and talented girl.
Thank you so much for everything. The foundation was laid for a great day.
