Absolutely the worst customer service I've EVER dealt with. I made a reservation directly through the hotel, connected with one of their agent, he gave me the rates, I have him my card info and got a confirmation number. I noticed on my back statement that I was charged for more than I thought, I call the reservations number only to find out the reservation has been cancelled because the agent that booked my trip used a promo code that he was not authorized to use. A supervisor cancelled the reservation and I couldn't get the same rates. To add insult to injury they told me I couldn't get the money for the trip protection back because it's not refundable... Even though I am not the one that cancelled the reservation....buyer beware... With all the resorts along the beach I would think they would do more to keep customers

Everything about this resort was amazing! Absolutely NO complaints except there were some annoying guests who I wish would ve chosen a different week to travel here. The staff were very friendly & attentive since the minute my family and I arrived. We decided to take a trip to Turks & Caicos for my birthday. A true success all-around. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. I made a lot of great friends & the entertainment was fair considering there are people who actually live on the island. Everything was over at 11pm, but that was more than enough for my family. There was never a dull moment during our trip! I mean.. which resort s staff plays happy birthday to one of their guests without being asked? I have not found another place that does. Highly highly recommend!
We spend 3400$ for 5 nights in an ocean front room, our patio did not lead out to the ocean but instead obstructed by weeds, plants and hill. No walkable path to the ocean. The food was mediocre at best. Highly NOT recommeded. False advertisment. Room 1105 see picture of our ocean front room view
Wonderful resort. Friendly staff and gorgeous beach. Still working out the all inclusive thing since they recently began offering all inclusive packages. But a great value. Came with a family of 4. Oceanfront 1 BR 1 kid on the pull out couch the other on a rollaway. Right next to Beaches.
The resort is nice, in terms of location and the beach itself. The rooms ain't bad but the services are very poor. The kitchen female staff are very rude and unfriendly towards customers especially when you are black and you are a woman except for Jessica and Sunshine, those two were really amazing. I have been to a lot of resorts but has never been disrespected the way I was in this resort.
The guys are wonderful and they made me enjoy my stay. The front desk staff are also superb and warm to a fault especially the front desk manager. She is amazing.
Another problem, is the food sucks. One would expect varieties considering how expensive it is to stay there but they serve the same menu everyday, nothing exciting to look up to as such I almost died of starvation for the days I stayed there. I was there between July 13th and July 21st.
Bottom line I won t recommend Alexandra resort to anyone. It s the most boring place to go for vacation
Great views. Information is limited especially for food. Plus with food serve be prepared to wait a very long time! It takes really, really long once you order. Typical 45 mins for a burger. Everyone is nice but super slow service.
Hello I was just at Alexandra resort week of July 21st and it was just ok. Very misleading you lucky you can get a drink by the pool at all and you are not getting service in the water by the beach with a tuxedo tshirt that was misleading and not facts. You were on your own. The gift shop is the limited but ok. The bartenders for the most part were ok but no personality at all except for the girl at Tiki bar she rocked you need to teach hospitality there is none at all. The manager was not helpful nice but lazy she said we are at capacity and I can't give you adjoining rooms there was no one at the resort at all it was dead and boring it was another lie. Alexandra was the most boring resort I ever been to no music at the pool at all no activities I was sleeping by 7pm most nights it was so boring. The food was same stuff everyday but tasted very good Caribbean night was really good and fish fry fattening but delicious I heard from other guests we had left already. The one thing they did do is make my son what he wanted to eat he is picky Keisha is the best chef very sweet she is what saved the trip. I learned a lesson stay at Beaches no one has anything on Beaches. We met a great family from Staten Island where we are from wish they were there longer they made our 2nd day better, sorry about the cell phone Stacey..
So, you may gauge who is writing this review, let me start by saying I m a fairly particular critic, but not overly so. I live in a major US city and go out of my way to find good restaurants and highly value excellent service. I was very on the fence about booking this property because of the mixed reviews, but I have young children and thought it was a good low-key option. With little kids half the food ends up on me during dinner, so I figured what the heck . Generally, the reviews are on-point and I d consider this a hard 3-star experience. The location is objectively very nice, no issues there. The service was the most overwhelmingly inconsistent and generally poor aspect of the trip. Some people were very nice, but in other instances I was quite shocked at how poor it was. For breakfast for example, I came done with my two very small children and the staff saw me standing there and didn t even acknowledge me, almost staring right through me. I had to get my own highchair for my son, while a waiter watch me drag it from behind the divider. Lunch was a similar experience. To be fair and on the positive side, many of the staff were very nice, but one always tends to remember the poor experiences versus the good. I d say 35% of wait staff were very unfriendly, almost to the point of it being awkward. The rooms themselves were just OK. The furniture was aging, there were some noticeable cracks in the drywall, ding and dents but overall, they were fine and meet my expectations based on the reviews and pictures. The property itself again, was fine, just not great. Some of the vegetation along the paths and in the beds was overgrown, some buildings could use a little painting and TLC you just didn t get the feeling this was a meticulously managed property. But again, set expectations on 3-star just OK and you ll be fine. And, I do hate to repeat, but the food was again just OK their al a carte service was very good, and the wait staff for dinner were consistently very nice (their A-team if you will), but the food was nothing to write-home about. It was satisfactory, but certainly not good, mostly bland again very consistent with a 3-star experience. Overall, it met my expectations, because I set them rather low; but I m looking for more on vacation, and this just didn t fit the bill I won t be returning and opting for something a bit more special next time. Your money will go much further on another island or even another property on T&C.
I came back to change my one star review to 4 stars. We got off to a rough start, but after letting the manager know what problems we were having they went above and beyond to make it better. Truly the best staff. Thank you.
I traveled here in December 2018 with my fiancee and took my mom back with me again in December 2019. The Alexandra is absolutely lovely. The food is very good, especially the afternoon barbecues. The staff is wonderful! If you are looking for the most beautiful, relaxing stay then this is it! It is absolutely dreamy.
