Been back many times wonderful place, quality Resturant and an excellent staff

Rom is comfortable and clean. Pool and beach access are well serviced.

We had read the opinions about the hotel and followed some recommendations such as requesting a room with sea view and it was the best. The service, the room, the beach, the pool ... all excellent. We didn't go to the restaurant, but the food we ordered to eat on the beach was very good.
The wifi works more or less.

absolutely the best spa experience ever. prices are unbelievably reasonable for SoBe. My wife and I felt pampered from start to finish. From hostess checking us in, to staff manning relaxation room, to the technicians and everyone in between. 1st class all the way!

Very good hotel good located to attend the events of the faena forum, it is a clean and very comfortable hotel the staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and I assure you that you will have a very pleasant time in your pool, the rooms They are of good size and have everything you need for a good rest, Spa, gym, pool, restaurant, small store, etc.

Work at this hotel. And I know it from the inside. It has excellent restaurants, where every detail is taken care of, every 3 or 4 months the menu is changed to offer different alternatives. The pool can be up until 12 o'clock in the morning and since it is heated it has a good time. Each year they update their rooms. Some rooms have a view of the sea. Worth it. I recommend seeing the sunset or sunrise on your beach space in front

We loved this hotel. Very friendly staff. They delivered complimentary champagne to our room as they knew was our honeymoon. Excellent beach and loved the greenery onsite. Highly recommend this resort.

Expect more from a sea view room. The view would be pretty good. Only from the room we would have expected more from a 5 star hotel.

Gorgeous hotel, great service. Ocean view room 1101 has an amazing view of the pool and ocean. Landscape is beautiful. Great atmosphere. Absolutely love it there. Beach is incredible. There is a resort fee that covers your beach chairs umbrella wifi. The only thing that would make it better is if they would allow the guest to use the mini fridge, unfortunately the mini fridge is full of beverages that you can purchase, but if you want a mini fridge you can ask for one and pay $10.00 a day which I thought is ridiculous when all hotels give you that amenity for free. This is why I give it a 4 stars. We didn't use the parking we did UBER which was cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking. I do recommend the hotel.

This hotel is so pretty the happy hour latin night was Awesome! The dj was amazing and it felt like you were visiting Cuba it was so authentic the music was great.

Personable staff, happy faces, very cordial and engaging. Rooms had a nice comfortable feel, valet staff were super helpful and courteous, food was ok. The staff were definitely the highlight of the experience. Loved it!

Nice and clean hotel some construction going on not in Hotel itself but on street cause for a bit of extra congestion. This hotel is a bit north of South Beach so not in the middle of the craziness;-) close enough to uber or taxi to there or Lincoln road. Food great, nice pool and yes get the ocean view the view is amazing and on the street side not much to see..Beds comfy and clean nice and helpful staff!!

What a beautiful hotel. This place has the full package. A large pool, direct beach access. The interior of the hotel is clean and well styled. The staff is very professional. The perfect Miami Beach vacation spot.

Beautiful hotel. Highly recommended. However, we did not like the hotel's own beach section.

Very nice establishment, one of the best hotels in Miami with all the comforts, close to Ocean Dr, and all shops, very quiet, a place to share with two ...! The restaurant at the top, with impeccable service, I highly recommend it.

Excellent location. You have the free group that takes you to the center in 5 'or you can walk. A big and beautiful Starbucks at 50m and very good Cuban food at 10m where to bake or have lunch for a couple of dollars at home

Beautiful hotel overlooking the beach, just a few steps from the Miami nightlife and with the free bus stop (trolley) a few meters away.
The staff is very kind and helpful, but the real treat was the breakfast ... We found among the many things the fresh salmon, omelettes, fresh croissants, yummy pancakes ... Outside the pool a bit crowded but pleasant, in the company of parrots. The very nice and clean room, the line with the appearance of the hotel, running shovels, relaxing and chic atmosphere.

The place was nice and all, but they charge my account an extra 38 dollars a day for staying there. I asked the front desk lady why is there an extra fee and she told me everyone pays it, so not only I have to pay for the room and all, but it s not all upfront like It should be, but there s more added on. I would just go somewhere else for whoever reads this.

A very quiet, clean and nicely decorated hotel. Wellbeing is assured. Staff very accommodating and polite.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here! Staff is magnificent and sweet. Can uber everywhere. You can walk to starbucks, liquor store, and small markets. We will be going back. Pillows are uncomfortable but we made it work. The beach is lovely and pool is fantastic!

We flew in to Miami from Denver on the redeye flight when we got to the palms hotel and spa it was very early in the morning we didn't know if they would have a room for us just yet but when we got to the front desk they said we got great news we got a room for you so the wife and I want to our room who does it for a little bit of the flight was really bumpy but what an amazing atmosphere the rooms were very very clean. Everybody from the front desk to the cleaning services ladies are so sore fro everybody from the front desk to the cleaning services ladies are so so friendly. the view from our room was amazing hospitality was amazing especially down to tiki bar the guys down there were wonderful and have good recommendations on where to go hang out for the nightlife if you're into that. I would recommend this place to family friends coworkers anybody wife and I will most definitely be back in thinking to come back around Christmas time for spring break not sure just yet I want to thank the palms hotel and spa for the experience I've had in a long time and a hotel and resort.

We had our Wedding at the Palms couple weeks ago and it was a dream! We fell in love with this Hotel and the staff. Holly the catering director did an amazing job as a wedding coordinator and helping us with every little details. I will totally recommend this amazing Hotel and We will back next year to celebrate our Year anniversary.

The staff are mostly friendly, but we were bothered that booked services were charged twice. Despite repeated commitment of the hotel, the correction was never carried out. E-mails are not answered and by telephone you are only put off. Unprofessional and dubious. Rip off of first quality. Can not recommend this hotel. Nice facilities and beach have other hotels.

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable and great service. A few oddities around hours they close the Tiki bar and towel service but not insurmountable. Great spot!

Clean hotel, with a nice exotic decor and a good location.
The only problem is parking is $ 42 a day.
If there is a garage 6 to 20 minutes walk from the hotel and costs $ 8 a day.

Racist has hell. When we got in the pool they got out. Staff questioned me if i were staying with them. Shower clogged. Staff did a lot of frowning upon me when they didnt think i would notice. Many stares from other guest. Cocktail were suppose to have alcohol could barely taste it. Dodnt feel welcomed!

Great hotel. We have visited twice and looking forward to our next visit end of August.
I also have a few friends that live & play nearby the Palms and its thumbs up all the way.

Its overall a lovely place to get away and relax. We love it!

Lovely hotel! The only thing keeping this hotel from being a 5star is the fact that they charge $6.95 for 15mins to use the business center computer to connect to the internet. Also $1per page for black and white print and $2 for color!

Very nice hotel. Had a great room with ocean view. Breakfast is outstanding. Very friendly staff. Food and drinks are quite expensive.

I am currently at the hotel and have been trying to check in for the last 2 and a half hours. The room office manager is extremely rude and unhelpful. Very unsatisfied with the stay and I haven't even check in yet.

Nice hotel, rather expensive, shower head did not work properly and was not satisfactorily repaired .... full room rate but required!

Overpriced and underwhelming! Do not waste your money paid 350$ for a tiny roomno balcony no complimentary water nothing! could not even coffee in the morning which is a deal breaker 350 a night and NO coffee until 7:30 NEVER AGAIN I like to get what I pay for and this was not the case here

A really beautiful hotel in a great location. The rooms are very clean and really nice and classy. The prospects are partly amazing.
The breakfast buffet was the finest.

Terrific staff. The room was clean and well appointed. The location is right on the beach and an easy walk to everything we needed. We look forward to returning.

Perfect hotel restaurant at all levels, close to shops, and on the beach, spacious rooms, restaurant and very good service.
Establishment on a human scale, well isolated and new, nothing is missing.

I really enjoyed my stay here. All the different areas such as beach, pool, lobby, valet parking had very kind and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and modern. I felt at ease seeing how the hotel is taking precautions to keep everyone safe. When i left all i could think about was coming back!

our room was super small, but nice and clean; bathroom same issue, just no counter space really....
I'd suggest a towel rack or two or perhaps extra shelf or stool as it was hard to keep toiletries in place
receptionist / check in experience was great, early check-in was a treat after a very long flight form West Coast, thank you!

This was the worst hotel I ever been to the staff is highly prejudiced nothing that they told about the amenities there s no doubt dining no spa plus they over charged you it was horrible i wouldn t allow my dead dog stay there I wouldn t recommend this hell hole to anyone

My experience was better than I expected. The location is primo!

Worked in a wedding here and the location is beautiful, clean bathroom, amazing venue but the manger on duty named Paul was very rude when I had questions about valet parking. After asking him a few questions he said "do not come back asking me anymore questions" and walked away. I felt unwelcomed by his Attitude. Is this how the palms hotel treat people here? Very disappointed in the lack of patience. I wouldn't like to come back here for any reason.

The windows do not open and the views or terrible I was shown three type of rooms in which one room had a great size but I got a view of a huge palm tree when I tell u I could see nothing but palm tree it was horrible but nice lol then the other room was a parking lot view and then the other was a ocean view but again u can t open the windows it s horrible the manger was stuck on charging me extra instead of pleasing me no rooms have a balcony choose another hotel I tell u MUCH CREDIT TO CARLOS THE BELL HOP FOR TRYING

Very nice hotel put the manager or gm of the hotel was not very friendly. We had issues with our room and they really weren't willing to work with us much despite spending $500 a night on a tiny room. At least the hotel was nice.

Terrible service, tiny expensive rooms, horrible food, I really wish I could go back in time and stay at the Ritz Carlton, this is honestly the worst hotel you can stay in for this amount of money. Do not, I repeat, do not stay at this hotel, don't waste your money.

We were not happy with our room size. They moved us to a bigger room but we had to pay a large charge. Food was mediocre. Best part was the pool and back area. Location is pretty good as well.

Great staff, very clean all around. We didn't want to leave the resort while we were there it was so nice. The only place that I have ever been to that looks exactly like the pictures!

We pulled up the Palms and you walk inside and it really isn't that impressive so I was concerned and worried. Check in went smooth. We went to the room and the room was really nice, updated and had a great rain shower. The food from room service was pretty good.

The negatives:

In the morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast. I got the buffet. I was really disappointing, Nothing impressive at all but I got it because it said on the menu that I would make my own Burrito, so I was super excited.

I went to the egg chef and told him I wanted to make my own burrito. He looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He told me "I make eggs, this is my job what are you talking about". So that was odd. I then asked the waiter and he acted like I was insane. He told me no I didn't see that on the menu and he had no idea what I was talking about. I told him to get the menu. He came back and apologized and told me that he talked to other co-workers as well and in the history of working there no one has ever asked to make their own burrito like it offers on the menu. I told him I would like to and he told me he would get me a tortilla and I could put random stuff from then buffet in it. So he got me a tortilla and I obviously didn't do that because I didn't want to put waffles and oatmeal and fruit in my burrito. The waiter was nice about it, don't get me wrong that isn't my complaint, its just that the menu says you can make your own burrito and you can't.

Also the toilet in the room was some low flow toilet where the pressure of the water is used to wash your hands. I am all about the environment but this is not a good idea.

Ocean view rooms were great. The bathroom in the non-ocean view room was very awkward.

We had our wedding here in April, and everything went off without a hitch! Yasmin was amazing at staying on top of things and helping us plan everything: from food and drinks (the tasting was an especially nice touch), to the wedding schedule, and even helped us out when the weather was looking dicey, advising us to move up the beach ceremony to avoid rain. Also, all of our other vendors knew of the Palms and worked seamlessly with Yasmin (we didn't even have to interact with them!)

For those who want an outdoor wedding, but want backup plans in case of bad weather, this is the perfect location. We had a beach ceremony, outdoor cocktail reception, and dinner in the veranda (partially outdoors), with plenty of backup locations.

The Palms itself is incredibly beautiful, and it was so nice to relax by the pool and/or beach, and our guests kept remarking how amazing the cocktail hour terrace location was. They also had a bunch of nice touches throughout our stay- when we checked in, we were greeted with a cheese plate, and the night of our wedding we discovered a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room.

Our room had an amazing view and was very spacious! Our breakfasts (not complementary, but worth it) were tasty, and the poolside drinks really hit the spot. Also, front desk has literally anything- toothpaste, spare umbrellas, corkscrews, etc, which made our stay extra stress-free.

Got a price from Nustay of 200/night, then just before the transaction was completed, there was a price change to 666 per night. In Florida, we call this a Bait and Switch scam.

Always enjoy this hotel. They allow you to drop your bags off early the day of your check in to enjoy all the amenities. Also on the back end of your trip - let them hold your bags after check in to enjoy some more. The poolside service is great, food is great, on site restaurant is pricey but good and walking distance to a Starbucks and some restaurants. A Publix less than 5 minutes away as well. Beach front hotel that includes chair and umbrella. Oh and you can still order drinks and food via the hotels hut beachside. If I am going for a Miami Beach vacation I will ALWAYS stay here.

Hotel is beautiful. The wedding we attended there was poorly planned (the planner, not my friends). The staff at the wedding was AWESOME, however the bar manager was a real jerk at the end of the night.
