I love leasing from Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy! Max Dombeck was very knowledgeable in helping us to lease our Pacifica. He was able to answer all our questions and was patient with us as we were deciding what options we wanted. If you are looking for a vehicle and want a good price without having to deal with a pushy salesperson this is the place.

This was the best experience I have had at a dealership before. Bill was so patient will all my questions and I was able to walk out that day in my new car. They worked around my schedule during the day and even stayed until after close to help me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car.

I went into Suburban Chrysler in Troy to buy a Wrangler Rubicon in specific colors white or black. My salesman was so good that he showed me exactly what I wanted and then tempted me with a color I didnt even know I liked. Brad Genna is a good salesman, very patient, relaxed and not pursuing a quick sale. He wanted to make sure I was happy and I was. Thanks again Brad

The experience was wonderful, the salesperson was very nice and was really interested to get me the color nd feature I wanted. He made me feel very comfortable till I took delivery of the car. Although there were few hiccups in getting the finance, but they let me take the car for the weekend and try it out. Overall the experience was very pleasant and definitely would recommend this dealership.

We bought our family van from Suburban Farmington ...

We bought our family van from Suburban Farmington just last May and recently just purchased from the Troy location. I was very pleased with the ease and prompt transaction. I leased a previous vehicle from another local dealership back in 2009 and spent 6+ hours waiting around on the sales and finance department. That was traumatizing! We found a Jeep Cherokee at Suburban CDJR Troy website, my husband called at 3pm to inquire about the car. We got there for a 4pm appointment with Jose A. and was out the door with keys in hand by 6:30pm. Jose is very easygoing and professional with no pressure buying. He did an awesome job from describing the vehicle before test driving to delivering the vehicle. He is very knowledgeable. The Finance manager John G. was also very helpful and patient. He answered all our questions and didn't rush us through the paperwork despite the fact it was after closing time. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I visited Crystal yesterday to lease a new Jeep after my previous vehicle was totaled. I was in and out in an hour and everyone was so nice and timely. My dad and I never felt like we were getting the workaround either. Other times we've been in dealerships we've had to wait for HOURS or have to come back hours later after all the paperwork to get our vehicles. Crystal was helping another customer while with me and she never skipped a beat. I contacted her earlier in the week and truly appreciate all the time and work she put in to helping me. Go to Suburban!!

Went to suburban because I thought I'd get somebod...

Went to suburban because I thought I'd get somebody who knew what they where doing, I was wrong. The service department is a joke and I wouldn't trust their techs to refill my washer fluid. The tech tried to get 4 labor hrs added for removing a skid plate that is held on by 4 bolts and can be removed with in an minutes, and when I called him out on his BS he decided to act like a child for the rest of the job. Went in to have the ac fixed and they needed to replace the cluster, which requires removing the dashboard. They damaged many parts while doing so, and when we received my car after 3 weeks they had installed the wrong part. Immediately told them and they started playing the blame game and said it wasn't their problem. So I went to another dealership but they couldn't return the part because it was ordered by suburban, so I was forced to return. Had to wait another another week for them to return and receive a new part. Which finally fixed my problem but not after 5 weeks of dealing with this incompetent place. I will never return, this place is a joke. They talk to you like your an idiot even though you understand the situation better then they do. The sad part is that it's 6 hr job I could have done in my garage but needed to go to a dealership to have the correct mileage put on the new cluster.

No, I don't want to talk to Jim. He was the tool that told me to get lost. That guy couldn't understand that kilometers and miles are different forms of measurements and a conversion is needed when changing between them.

(Changed to 3-star.

(Changed to 3-star.
The customer service manager contacted me the next day and explained few questions. And the maintenance interval should be every 4,000 miles. Will continue go there next time and see how it goes.)

$50 regular maintenance turned to be $260.

I m a 1st-time owner of Jeep. I bought a preowned Jeep Cherokee in March 2019. The current odometer shows 40,000.
I had my 1st maintenance experience with an advisor called Isa** at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy in October 2019. A $50 regular maintenance turned to be $260.

I checked this place has over 4.4-star reviews on Google Maps. I assumed I could trust them. I realized I way overpaid after talking with a couple of my friends who also owns Jeep and usually spent around $50 for regular maintenance items oil change & tire rotation. In addition, I have an extended warranty (Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan Maximum Care) covering 100,000 miles or 7 years so most repairs are covered.

1. The people are friendly there. This is so far the only good thing.

2. You need to be very cautious about their maintenance items.
I was checked in by an advisor called Isa**. He told me there are items need to be performed with a total of over $500. I had to declined the most expense item (see my picture) just because it s too expensive. I admit I should have been more cautious about everything he said. However, who would think of that when you see this place has 4.4-star reviews on Google Maps.

3. I asked the policy for loaner. Isa** said no loaner would be provided without additional cost. However, I heard loaner was available for my friends who own Jeep which is out of the original warranty. So what is the honest answer?

4. He promised to wash my car. Did NOT wash.

5. Maintenance is required every 3,000 miles? Seriously? For a 2016 40,000-mile Jeep Cherokee.
When I checked in, I was told the the maintenance is needed every 7,000 miles. When I picked up my car, I saw the sticker on the left top corner of the wind shield saying next service is after 3,000 miles. I came back in to ask Isa** and he said 3,000 miles is right for my car because it runs 87-grade gasoline. The 7,000-mile maintenance schedule he told me was for the vehicle running higher grade gasoline. Can someone tell me if a 2016 40,000-mile Jeep Cherokee really suppose to do maintenance every 3,000 miles?

The staff at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy was professional and helpful throughout the purchasing process. Maria was the specific representative that helped us find the exact car we were looking for so quick! She helped facilitate the process so that it was the fastest and most painless experience we have ever had. I cannot say enough about how smoothly she made the process, specifically how she helped us find exactly what we wanted within our budget and in a timely fashion. Would recommend her to anyone.

The service as always was prompt and professional. I am stunned by the amount we paid for labor to replace a spark plug. We paid over 600.00 for services that could have and should have been much cheaper in my opinion. I am not totally sure if this will be my first choice for service on our van anymore.

**UPDATE**

**UPDATE**
Since my review I've been contacted by Jim Grove the service director at Suburban Chrysler Jeep. Jim was very professional in the way he handled my issue. The replacenent part was ordered and delivered to the service center the next day. I took my jeep in to have the repairs done and I am completely satisfied with the repairs. My shifter is back to the way it uses to be and I'm pleased with the customer service I received from Suburban Chrysler Jeep.

I took my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a recall on the ignition switch. I waited at the location while my vehicle was being repaired. When I got my vehicle back I was more than disappointed in the results.
For starters my ignition is super difficult to turn now. I feel like I have to force the key in then turn it to start the vehicle. Also my gear shift is all screwy now. Before I brought the jeep in the gear shift was smooth, now the black plastic piece on the inside of the gear shift is all crumpled up and there's a horrible crunching sound whenever I shift. Not only that but I have use extra force to put it in drive and when I put it in park.
When I told the service manager about this his response was "I don't know what to tell you." I repeatedly explained to him that the issues I was experiencing were not there before I brought the vehicle in. Apparently if a tech writes "gear shift damage" on the work order that means that the customers word is null and void. It didn't say that the gear shift was damaged prior to the tech working on it, it just said gear shift was damaged.
I'm extremely displeased in "quality" of their work and "customer service". I feel like they're attempting to scam me into paying them to fix something they broke either on purpose on by mistake. What makes this whole thing even worse is I was going to sell my Jeep because I'm in the market to get a Wrangler. Now Suburban of Troys actions have depreciated the worth of my vehicle even more which will make it even more difficult for me to get anything for the Jeep. It really disgusts me that I've worked hard to pay off my Jeep and want to buy another Jeep product only to be treated like I don't matter. I will never do business with Suburban of Troy again, and I am strongly considering not doing business with Chrysler all together is nothing is done about this issue. I also will make sure everyone I come in contact with that is considering going to Suburban Troy to look elsewhere for service, and in my line of work I come in contact with a lot of people that I give referrals to for different services. If this is how they treat first time customers that is a shame.

I recently did trade on a Jeep and worked with Bill Messina at Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I was frankly ready to give up on Jeep/Chrysler due to the last unpleasant experience I had with another dealership, but Bill changed my mind! He made the process for trade in and getting into another Jeep fairly painless. He is a true professional and I would gladly recommend any friend or family member to him! Thanks Bill for a great trade in experience...

Absolute worst service department I have ever been...

Absolute worst service department I have ever been to. I took my brand new Jeep SRT for service and each week for 3 weeks they told me the part was in and being painted. Each time I had to call and they never knew where the part was. Finally, they claimed, again, the part was in but couldn t find it. I tried to call a service manager but got no where. We also took our Hellcat SRT in and for over a month they had the car for a small paint defect from the factory. Each time we would call, they would say a few more days. They were very poor communicators and could not get the job done correctly the first time. I will never use this dealership again. Owners beware if you need your car repaired here... they won t contact you and won t know where your parts are at!

I dropped my wife's 2009 dodge avenger off at this dealer on saturday evening with the diagnosis written down on the overnight envelope . A gas station mechanic within 15 minutes told me the ground was not working on the left side of my pcm, and the Pcm needed replacing. Long story short , the dealer wanted 2 hours to install the pcm+110.00 to flash the pcm. The problem I have is the PCM comes out in 10 minutes. 2 10 mil bolts , and the whole pcm bracket comes out , 4 star bits later, you have a pcm in your hands. 2 hours labor is a rip off. Not to mention there is a huge problem with these 2.4 lt PCM'S THAT DODGE NEEDS TO RECALL.

This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased with Glen Campbell. He is the only dealer I will work with because he is honest, professional, and knowledgeable. I was looking a couple of different vehicles and he gave all the information needed to make a good decision. I could not be happier with my new truck and I feel confident, thanks to Glen that I made the best choice!

Very far below what I expected. I had a flat tire and called in to see what they suggested I should do. The man on the phone told me to put on the spare and come in right away. He said he notified the team and they would be ready for me when I arrived so I could get in and out faster. When I arrived the person hailing incoming cars told me it would be 3 hours at least before they could even start to get me a new tire. The dealership isn't close to my house and I had to turn around and go home - where I could have just gone in the first place if they hadn't told me to come in. This is usually a good dealership but that experience was really an embarrassment to their business in my opinion.

I would give them 0 stars but that's not one of the choices. DO NOT!!! AND I REPEAT DO NOT!!!! Buy a car here. They have the absolute worst service department I have ever dealt with. They treated my wife like she was stupid. The seat was broke from day one and they told us it was normal. I had to prove it to them by measuring another car seat like mine. Took 9 months and 3 visits before getting it repaired. Same thing with the seat belt. Took them 3 visits. I still can't get the gas odor fixed.

We were fortunate enough to be greeted graciously and respectfully at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy. Our sales Agent was Joe Bellomo who was beyond willing to go above and beyond and was also more knowledgeable than sales men we have dealt with in the past. Joe was accommodating, polite, honest and accertaive. Joe allowed us to look at several different options, allowed us to test drive each, as well as ran numbers on all the vehicles. We were provided water and offered pizza as well during our time there. My family and I highly recommend you stop in and see Joe Bellomo at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation after a lengthy road trip. Fred Gregory had had the service techs check my Grand Cherokee before the trip and he had them give it a complete check yesterday, as well. Yesterday they found that the forest fires of the West had badly clogged my HVAC system. I don't believe that all service departments would have been thorough enough to catch this problem before I had limited a/c or damage to the system. This was a complete check even when I had not made an appointment. Smooth, friendly and very professional!

If I could give 1 star I would. This relates to the service department. It seems past 1 star reviews are all service related, the 5 star reviews are when buying a car. So buyers... beware you'll need service at some point!
I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for an A/C complaint. The original estimate/guess of the problem was an evap coil valve that wasn't opening so that needed to be replaced. Ok, no problem. Not an expensive part but hard to get to and lots of labor costs. When they were replacing that they discovered metal shavings in a line so they determined that was from the compressor. Hmmm..I gave the ok to replace the compressor too. They said it was all set and working. I picked it up, parked it overnight and the next morning still no A/C. So I wasted more of my time to drop back off. This time, the guess was that my compressor wasn't getting power so they had to replace the Total Integrative Power Module (TIPM) at a cost of over $850! This was after I'd already spent close to $1100 on the first problems. Yeah, so I am pissed. I manage to talk my service consultant down to $658 as he said that's the best price he could do for me. Well, what can I do...I give the okay for the new TIPM. They replace that and still no a/c in my Jeep!
They then discover that the "new" compressor they put in is actually faulty. They can't order a new one because of some bs national backorder. I was without my Jeep for over 3 weeks. I want to talk to the service manager so my service consultant Mark C says he'll pass the message on to give me a call. I ask Mark to have the service manager call me 5 separate times over a period of 9 days. NO calls. I finally find the name of the service manager Jim Groves on another horrible Google review of this dealership and leave a voicemail to have him call me back. Jim Groves does call me back an admits to me there was no way of knowing if I actually needed a new TIPM based on the newly discovered bad compressor but if I want to put my old one back in at 2 hours of labor of $113 an hour to check it they could do so. If it WAS bad, he would have to charge me another 2 hours of labor at $113 an hour plus the price of the TIPM at $658 Or, he could just sell my the new TIPM at $550. I missed my Jeep and didn't want to risk it actually being a bad TIPM so I ate the cost of the new TIPM at $550. BTW, Jim Groves said he never got any messages from Mark C to call me...
I went in to pick up my Jeep, ran into Mark C who seemed to think this was all one big funny joke. I questioned his passing the messages onto Jim Groves and he said he did it. So who is lying here?? One plus that I will say is that if you DEMAND a loaner car for the lost time of your vehicle, they will give you one.
I WILL NEVER COME BACK FOR ANY SERVICE, PURCHASES OF ANY KIND. THEY RUN SCAMS AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

Bought a 2014 used Dodge Journey from Suburban dodge and immediately had major problems with the engine. After 4 services and over 2 grand they finally rebuilt the engine that has been damaged by another dealership and was under warranty and refused to reimburse me for the previous work. On my way to pick it up yet again for a thermostat replacement and another 400. They simply take no responsibility for mistakes and their customer service department if you can get ahold of them is horrible. We came in for a duel purpose today. First, was to turn in my lease. They were busy. However, they made time to take the vehicle in an efficient manner and it was easy. If you re looking to make a deal on a new car with a professional new pressure straight to the point sales person go and see him! I ve gotten 3 cars from him over the past 10 months and have sent many his way and we ve all left satisfied with our vehicle. Go see the folks at suburban!

Went in for an "Express" oil change on Aug 22 at 10:17 am. Left at 12:27 pm. Took 2 hrs and 10 minutes. So much for "Express" Should have gone to Uncle Ed's. Would have been in and out in 20-25 minutes.

My truck was in the shop for over a week, fuel pump failed. Service manager needs to update the customer with progress instead of the customer initiated any communication. After picking up my truck, had to get a friends help to return my brothers truck, I had to immediately return my truck as the drive shaft was hitting the fuel tank shield which they had to remove to service the fuel pump. Also, while the truck was in for the fuel pump, I requested regular maintenance, when I picked up the truck, the estimated repair did not match actual cost; service manager stated it just showed labor and not parts -fuel filters on my diesel truck. And I requested a spare key but it was not available when I picked up truck. Normally I would not be so negative, but a week without transportation over the holidays, the lack of communication from the service manager, the estimated repair not matching actual cost, and then having to return to fix their poor workmanship just needed to be written down.

Marc Brenhardt was my guy! He worked with me for a few weeks to help me get the car i wanted at the price I wanted. We went through a few versions of the vehicle, switched insurance policies and vin numbers countless times, not once was he pushy or made me feel i was just another car sale. He was an incredible help. Brandon was my finance officer and he was a great help as well, made the process simple. I would send anyone i know right to Marc for a great new car!

The staff was incredibly helpful and excellent to work with! Everyone was extremely friendly, but most importantly knowledgeable on product and pricing. Ben Heer & Chad Kozumplik made the purchasing process a complete breeze from start to finish as they worked closely with me to accommodate my schedule and make sure I stayed within budget. I would highly recommend Suburban of Troy - the staff continues to exceed my expectations every time, especially with their excellent customer service.

I brought my Chrysler 200 convertible in for an appraisal bc I have been eying the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for some time now.. And I left with one! Eric Adams is amazing and gets the job done the best way possible. Everyone was so friendly and made my husband and I feel like no matter how busy they were we were the only one in front of them and that doesn't happen much anymore, especially in sales. Not to mention we were finishing up after 6pm and no one acted angry they were still at work and took their time and didn't rush us. I highly recommend visiting the ln for your next purchase or lease and find Eric Adams, he won't dissapoint!! The experience was great!!
