Worked with Tim Brown over at this location, and the quality of service was EXCELLENT. Tim was extremely punctual and took valuable time out of his day to ensure that I was well taken care of. I've been driving a company car the last 10 years roughly, so this was actually the first time I was financing a vehicle on my own, after a change in company policies. Tim was very helpful in regards to keeping the monthly payments where they needed to be and working with me for different pricing options. He even let me take the Durango R/T for 24 hours to get the wife's approval and make the car seats fit!

I would absolutely recommend Tim to any friends and family. The service was excellent and I was very impressed with the personal care that Tim included in the process.

Thanks Tim!

Went to this dealer due to needing a security code for replacement radio for my stolen one. Not only did they come out with the "if it's not stolen" bit but charging a pretty excessive fee for something that requires plugging a VIN and serial into a website to get. I came prepared with all the documents from salvage (local) regarding vehicle it was pulled from so I'm pretty floored this isn't a courtesy considering many of these dealers experienced the same thing I did.

I was looking for a black Charger RT AWD and subu...

I was looking for a black Charger RT AWD and suburban of Troy was the only place that had one within 100 sq miles that had one. Upon arriving at the dealer all there vehicles seem to be well taken care of. I was dealing with Jeff as my sales person and he was very professional, answered all my questions and was pleasant to deal with. I believe I gotta a good deal on the vehicle so the price was definitely right.

I noticed there was quite a few scratches on the bumper and other various small spots along with swirl marks. I asked if they could correct that (buff it out) and that did not happen. Wasnt a huge deal but that's why i would have to give them a 4 out of 5 at this point but it went downhill from there... After owning the vehicle for a few weeks now, roughly 2 weeks ago my steering wheel started to shake at 55+ and under slightly more then moderate braking. The issue has gradually gotten worse to this point. As a ASE certified mechanic I pulled the front brakes apart and well the front of the rotors looked ok the backs were chewed up and had a rig on the outside lip as well as the rotors being glazed. The pads also were slightly chewed up from the rotors. By the looks of the rotors it's fairly obvious that they are aged and have been like so for awhile (the initial test drive before I bought it i did not notice any problems). I did not put the vehicle on a lift before o purchased it (I live an hour and 15 mins from the dealer). After throwing a dial indicator on it, it was obvious the rotors were warped. I sent pictures to show the condition of the rotors and pads as well.

I called the dealer and asked if they were willing to just take care of the parts to replace the front pads and rotors as I would be performing the labor (I have already pulled them apart once at this point) which I thought was more then fair as it's within the 30 days. He asked me if I have been driving it hard (fair question as hard braking is usually the cause of warped rotors) and I told him no I have been driving it normal (I was alittle aggravated by the question though, as it sounded like he thought because I am young (24 years old) and it has a v8 I MUST have been driving it hard) He indicated to me that it has been to long of period (I guess 3 weeks is a long period of time?)and the fact they did not make any money off my vehicle that they were not willing to take care of just the parts or anything for that matter. I work at a dealership myself and I understand it's a business to make money but I spent a good chunk of money on this vehicle and now have a saftey related issue and am even willing to do the labor FREE of charge and they don't seem to care.

Its $200 in parts to replace the front brakes (with my discounts) and most people would pay 2 hrs for labor (roughly $200). I would understand there point if it was a much older and high mileage vehicle but it's a 2012 with 74k miles that I paid a good amount for. My biggest disappointment is having to spend $ out of pocket already on a vehicle I haven't even made my first payment. I had a great experience up to this point but it has been made obvious to me that this dealer values a few hundred dollars in parts more then making sure a customers saftey related problem is taking care of and knowing that customer is happy. What I take away from this is it is a great place to purchase a vehicle, great prices, great sales people but I did not have a good experience trying to resolve a problem I had with my vehicle after just a few weeks of ownership.

Unbelievable ! My car needed oil change, rear sensors fixed and a part on the bottom of my car was falling off so I brought it here. Paid almost $800. I left it there for the whole day picked it up at night and didn t pay attention at all bc it was late. Drove to work in the morning and saw my car still needs oil change. And as soon as I got on the highway my car sounded so weird. I realized right away Something was falling apart under the car. Pulled over and I was right. They never fixed it. I really do NOT have TIME to go back and forth . KYLER ( the service advisor ) who was the one that s supposed to make sure everything is ok before giving the car back to customer definitely did NOT do his job. This is terrible. I never left a bad review for any businesses but this place and this has happened to me the last 4 times I ve been here so idk if they have a problem with me or what???

Great purchasing experience (Jeep lease). Clearly a very busy dealership, but never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. Randy took his time to arrange multiple test drives, and make sure all my questions were answered. Since it was my first time leasing I wasn't sure what to expect, but the team at Suburban made the whole experience comfortable.

A big thank you again to Jerry L. for helping me find my second car from this dealer! Jerry was great he worked with me every step of the way to get into a vehicle that I truly love! I can honestly say that he went to bat for me to get the most on my trade in and the most off my payment even when one of the managers wasn't! One of the best and most honest sales guys I have had the pleasure of working with, I will continue to do business here and ALWAYS use Jerry as my sales guy! Thanks and see you in the future!

Had my car serviced here a day ago for a flat tire...

Had my car serviced here a day ago for a flat tire and Oil Change.

Service Advisor initially was Kim. She was a bit monotone and she seemed disinterested in my concerns. Also not a big fan of customer service reps who handover issues and or cases to other customer service reps without a real good hand off, it makes it seem like they simply don't want to deal with a customer anymore.. Kim did just that.

I asked her for more information on one of my care packages and she right away asked someone else to explain it to me, and her tone said it all...Very dismissive and made me feel like a little kid who needed an hand holding, when all I needed was some clarifications.

I am glad she did this, she handed it over to Adam who was Awesome! Very friendly, very quick and very helpful. I took his card and will schedule future appointments with him.

Unfortunately when you have one bad apple it reflects on the company as a whole so I gave it a three star experience only because of my experience with Kim.

I suggest that Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep take a close look at how their service reps treat their customers (Whether intentional or not) and get them as needed, on a path to be better equipped to make their customers feel its about them, every customer is different and ensuring a unique experience makes a person feel like they are cared for and appreciated. Something any customer service rep should do. After all we as customer have or could potentially be buying a service or product and rep's job is upholding a company's reputation .

On plus note, outside of my experience with Kim this place is A1 as far accommodation while I wait for my car to be serviced.

A very welcoming Lobby, that always has snacks, water and Coffee and very good coffee in my opinion. A company that goes a bit out of the way to provide comfort is a company that shows they care to ensure their customers are happy.

One of a few reasons why I keep coming back.

Salesperson was ok, but he insisted that he had to come with me on the test drive and also only went a corner around the block. I wanted to go on my own and using my own route. He even wanted me to park in the lines. Still there is a gift card offer so that is why I went. They also honored the promotion even though I was supposed to test drive a ram and instead test drove a jeep cherokee

As a general rule the service is generally done well once enough parts are thrown at the issue, but then again considering the price paid, not exceptional. If Suburban extended the same exuberance expressed at charging your credit card by the overwork receptionist to other areas other than placating you with popcorn and coffee; it would more deserving of a 5 star rating.

The "fun part" ? That's when they cash you out and then 6-8 staff members will walk by you in the porter area, never once think to ask if assistance is needed or even acknowledge your presence. God forbid they page for assistance. They'll just keep on walking by you, management and staff alike.

This is the second time I've purchased through Suburban in 6 months and Tim at Suburban Chrysler Jeep is the true definition of professionalism and giving service to a client we are very pleased to tell everyone about his honesty his Integrity he will not sell you something that's not right for you and he will work very very hard as he did for us to make sure in his power and beyond that we could drive away in a new vehicle. Even though we know he worked really hard to get us the price we wanted and the vehicle with all the bells and whistles he made it seem effortless

Sept 5, 2017 I took my vehicle to this dealer to service a recall notice for some steering wheel wiring. They made that repair I hope, since I also had them evaluate my breaks and rotate the tires. They misrepresented the wear on my brakes, with an estimate of $1000. Fortunately, I looked up the average cost and pulled the vehicle before they could do that repair...the actual repair cost $550.
It is truly a mistake to pull things like this because I was planning on shopping this dealer for my next vehicle shortly after the first of the year.
Now I will not since I have no trust in their staff.

Prompt and curteous. They take the time to explain the current needs of your vehicle after conducting a free inspection. For example my air filter needs to be replaced in the near future. Previously they informed me well ahead of time that my front brakes were going to need to be replaced. Lastly, they accept coupons from their website.

The service was done and end result was great. I was annoyed to find out a standard oil change didnt come with a tire rotation unless you pay an extra 22 dollars. Also i had a scheduled appt to make it easy for myself but still had to wait an hour for the service to be completed. I feel that defeats the purpose of a scheduled appt. Lastly when i got my paperwork at the end the service rep had said everything they did and that the brakes and tires and everything were all good but on the paper where the service tech is suppose tk fill out and mark the levels of everything it was empty. Nothing was marked so i have no idea how he knew what was really going on.

After making an appointment for 7:40am to get in early and leave early, I was told my part would take 2 hours to come from another location and take another hour to install. I originally agreed to wait for the service but was offered my car back until the part came in. I decided to wait at a friend's house nearby as I live far away. I wasn't called for over 4 hours. I came back in and it took an additional 2 hours for installation. I spent my entire day waiting on a 1 hour job (which they quoted). I was called 4 days later saying they should have charged me for a deductible and I needed to come in and pay it. I explained that I was charged that day and it was on my credit card. The response was, Oh let us look for that. What in the world. I expected more from this location. Service use to be great. My tech's professionalism was good, but they need to work on timing and quality of service.

My wife and I have been visiting local dealerships recently in search of a truck at a fair price. I am not exaggerating when I say that the Suburban Chrysler Dealership was Superb. Working with Glen Campbell and Tom Brown was truly a uniquely positive vehicle buying experience for us. No hype, no gimmicks, no persuasion, they made our concerns their concerns. They went above and beyond to address every question we had, to explain and to educate us about things we needed to consider. We are confident that this was the very best choice and deal, and agreed this is the only dealership we will go to, as well as send all our friends and family to.

I have been a customer of the Suburban Auto Group for over six years and I have always had a positive experience. Most recently I went back to Suburban Jeep in Troy, MI and was assisted by Rick LaRue. Rick was great! He was courteous, attentive, and a great listener. He could tell when I was in a rush as well as when I needed extra attention. Rick not only facilitated the trade in of my lease that was due, but he also was able to pull my lease ahead on my second car and get me into two new Jeep Grand Cherokees and to reduce my aggregate car payment. Rick LaRue is an asset to this organization and I recommend him to anyone who is looking to get into a new Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep vehicle!

If you have anxiety about bringing your car in for service because you're worried about getting scammed and being sold a bunch of expensive parts you don't actually need, don't come here. That's exactly what will happen to you with this service department.

Also, if the vehicle you're bringing in for service is your primary mode of transportation I would definitely advise against bringing it in. You won't see it for weeks if you're bringing it in for anything other than an oil change or a tire rotation.

0/10 would never recommend.

Bill Messina is highly recommended. Over the 2 year process of waiting for the right Dodge Dart to become available, I called and visited 6 dealerships in my area and talked to 10 salesmen. Every one of them I gave my number to, but he was the only one to contact me when ordering opened up. He gave me a great deal and beat every offer I threw at him. And most importantly he's a down-to-earth guy, not a typical salesman. He didn't shove anything down my throat, try to sell me on anything I didn't want on the lot, insult my taste, or have that fake buddy-buddy persona with that dumb smile like every single salesman I've ever talked to. Truly, one guy said "I mean really? You don't want this limited because of the chrome?" Bill learned and understood what I wanted, then he got it, and got it for cheap. Almost every salesman I talked to rather get a commision then get the facts straight. When I asked them if something was available, they said yes without hesitation, but then had to apologize that it wasn't available when I made them check the system. Bill was the first to admit he didn't know and needed to check first. Go see Bill!

I took my husbands car in for a much needed oil change, my service rep Mark was very helpful, and informative about the additional services that would be needed in order to keep our higher mileage vehicle running smoothly for years to come. He approached it in an informative manner and did not come off as pushy in any way. Being a woman who has been working on cars since before she could drive, I appreciated his approach, and will definitely be coming back for future service.

When I purchased my car I bought a windshield (rainex type) package that gets reapplied every time I get an oil change.(paid $200 for the package so now I have to get all my oil changes at the dealership by making an appointment rather than convenience of drive in at any time) Went to get an oil change today and reminded service tech of the package. When the oil change was complete I asked again if the windshield treatment had been applied to which he answered yes. When I got in my car the outline of the wiper travel made it pretty obvious that the treatment had not been applied. I brought the tech out to show him. He apologized and took my car to have the treatment applied. I wouldn't write this review but this is the second oil change in a row where I've had the same experience. The Windshield treatment was a pretty expensive purchase for what it actually is but even worse when it doesn't get done in spite of reminding them several times and being assured it was done.

Terrible service center, very unprofessional as I had to call multiple times to get updates on what was wrong with my car and when it would be done, which I was lied to as well about that. When it's all said and done, they never fixed my problem and I decided to go to a new dealership. On top of that, the dealership stole my windshield wipers and gave me two worn and destroyed ones on my 10,000 mile Jeep in which I had to then replace.

This was my first experience getting a vehicle from a dealership , so I was a little nervous going in. I'm not a "car girl", so I was afraid that I would be confused and overwhelmed with information that would be given to me. However, this was one of the most simple, easy processes I've ever been a part of. Tim Brown was my dealer and he made the whole process "user-friendly", not to mention he was extremely personable and knowledgable. He walked me through each step and helped get me into a car that's absolutely perfect. The whole process only took two days and Tim did all of the legwork-- I just had to provide the information. I was SO pleased with my experience. I'm in love with my new Jeep Compass and will definitely be coming back to Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy in the future. If you're looking to buy or lease a vehicle, Tim Brown is your guy and this is the place!

Brought my car in about 2 months ago to fix a few ...

Brought my car in about 2 months ago to fix a few noises. A ting ting ting noise that is coming from the front and a deeper thunking noise from the rear of the car. The noise in the front ended up being the tire pressure sensor falling off and tumbling around in the rim. The other noise in the back they thought was bad struts or suspension. They have to order the parts and tell me that the noise in the front is fixed and to come pick up my car and they will call me when the parts get in. I get there and get in my car and start to drive away and before I even get out of the parking lot I hear the noise in the front of the car. So I take it right back to the service bay. They take it around and hear the noise and say they will fix it when the parts for the rear suspension come in. So in a week they call and I bring my car back and get a rental. A week goes by and I call to ask what was going on. They tell me that the sun roof frame is loose and that is what is making the noise in the back. Didn't expect that. Now they have to order the sun roof frame. At least I'm getting a rental. In the rental I go and wait for a week or so before they call me to pick up my car. So I go and pick it up and drive home. I open up my sunroof and there is no wind deflector that blocks the wind so I get a nice noise that literally hurts your eardrums. I call and tell them this and the service advisor says he will take this to his supervisor since this is going to be my third time bringing my car in. So I took my car back for them to put in the sunroof deflector and also I noticed some corrosion on the roof and had them take care of that as well. The corrosion part went fine and you can't tell there was ever a problem with the paint now. The sunroof is a completely different story. Got the call that my car was done . I went to pick up my car and obviously I check to make sure the sunroof deflector is there. The sunroof opens fine on my first attempt and then I push the button to the vent position and the sunroof goes up just fine. I push the button to have the sunroof close and it doesn't quite go in the correct position. So I try to open it up again and it won't. So I drive it back to the service bay and let them know that my sunroof will not open. The service guy looks at it and pushes the button and can't believe that I have yet another problem with this car. He tells me he hopes it will be a simple adjustment but of coarse it is not. It turns out that they had to replace the whole sunroof frame once again because of something in the sunroof deflector made the glass go off the track and crack the first frame. I'm not 100% sure what caused it but I'm sure they are not lying to me since this is a warranty job and really who wants to replace a sunroof frame twice. In the end I got my car fixed and it seems to be much better as far as the noise is concerned. It was a frustrating experience but I have to give the Service advisor and Manager credit for being professional and understanding through out this whole ordeal. FCA quality control I'm not too sure of and that is why they get 3 stars instead of 4.

The service was quick, however I was given attitude from the service writer due to a misunderstanding from a. Promise set by his coworker over the phone when I called prior to my visit. Simply call 2 other 5star dealerships before arriving at this location and you will constantly find that this dealership is dramatically overpriced for absolutely no reason than to take you're money. When there is an issue, they find ways of nickel and diming you, and making statements like well i don't know...etc (ambiguity) Im not sure if this was the particular advisor I had (fred Gregory), however this has happened on multiple occasions, including one of their managers. Even when I stated your local competitors are dramatically cheaper at for the exact same 5 star service I am asking for. I had to literally call them and put them on the phone before he hesitantly agreed to match the price. Ofcourse after that his sincerity became seriously lacking.

I scheduled an appt once to have a tune up, oil change and inspection. When I arrived I was not seen for over 30min. Only to find out they were 'busy' and more than likely not going to be able to get my vehicle in that day. I was put on some make shift wait list and told I would receive a call back at the end of the day. that day passed, it wasn't until noon the following day I had to call back to inquire about what was happening. Only to be told the same thing again. So what's the point of making appt?? Granted I work as a physician and its very difficult to make this time off. Furthermore my vehicle had certain codes that possibly were effecting its safety and drivability. When i voiced my concerns, the advisor pretty much said 'well what do you want me to do about it, theres nothing i can do'

I called a competing 5star dealership, had my vehicle in that same day and all the work performed, AT A CHEAPER price. Its not much to ask for. Give me a fair price, good service, if your are busy do not take appts, rather make them for dates where you can actually perform the service. And when you make a mistake or there is a problem do your best to make it work. I was considering getting into the market for a new vehicle, however absolutely will not tender any of my hard earned cash to that business.

This isn't just one single freak incident, this is a constant issue at this place. My advice, go elsewhere. There are many other dealerships in the area.

Have my lease with them now, tried to turn it in twice and both times they seemed to want to price themselves out of the market. The second time I actually did like the price but they pulled a bait an switch used car salesmen style and jacked the price back up (so I walked). My first experience was nice but after that it was "salesy" and from what I hear/seen they mark up. Not trying to pay more for the same vehicle so I recommend not going to this motor mall. @ owners response, my last name has an spelled ALLAN (without an E). I have no need to call Tom I went to a competitor and had excellent service!

After doing extensive research about my potential ...

After doing extensive research about my potential choices, I purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey a week ago and couldn't be happier. I'm a "savvy shopper", but Tim Pazdziora was great about listening to my concerns, answering all of my questions, and keeping me updated on how things were going. Tim was professional yet personable, with no pressure to rush my decision. Financing was a concern for me, but he and the finance mgr. worked tirelessly to help me get a finance rate & price that won't leave me feeling stretched over a barrel. Positive experience!

I have taken several cars to the service departmen...

I have taken several cars to the service department and when it comes to anything more than an oil change, good luck getting your vehicle back the day of your appointment. It's a minimal 2 - 3 days in the shop. Not to mention the communication is terrible. I text when I can, I get messages back sometimes. There is zero proactive communication. Today I texted twice and called twice. Just to ask if my truck had been looked at, two business days after I dropped it off for my appointment. I was told the ticket is still open and there are no parts ordered. The status is unknown the Service Agent was unable to tell me anything more and didn't offer to have anyone go look. Customer service is an afterthought, the focus is volume and to get that volume the service department seems to be always overbooked.

Initially easy and happy experience with Matt Sowt...

Initially easy and happy experience with Matt Sowter (sales) on a 2017 Explorer. Included with the deal was a replacement windshield. Dealings with the vendor the dealership selected were horrible... with a simple driveway windshield replacement turning into several visits over 4 days. When I called to ask Matt to handle this and provide alternate transportation until this was sorted... he replied "I think that you are getting bent out of shape for nothing," and "you need to relax." I asked Matt for whom I could contact to leave feedback (as theirs no email to a customer service rep... just a form page), he replied he would send me his managers info, but did not. I did however fill out the form page and never got a reply. I can buy a car from anywhere.. I don't think that I will be dealing with this dealership again in the future. Being courteous and owning a problem are two things that are important to me in a transaction such as this.

I had a wonderful experience recently with Tim Brown - he helped me out of my lease and into a wonderful Jeep Renegade for a great price! He handled a busy Saturday wonderfully and really listened to my needs as someone who drives quite a bit. I would definitely recommend SCDJR of Troy to anyone, and especially Tim Brown!

Great experience working with Maria. She was quick to answer questions and was flexible, considering my time constraints. I definitely plan to see her again in the future for the next Jeep product that I purchase.

Just recently I have purchased a Mazda 6 from this dealer with little to no problems. Jose Arbelaez was my sale representative and he provide me with all the information I needed to finalize the sale and have me prepared for what it would cost to own this car. This is the first car that I have ever purchased and it was a breeze, this dealer really knows what they are doing. Be careful though, while you are finalizing your purchase there are many options that cost extra to have on your car, and make sure to only get what you want. Other than this I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy.

Good dealership. Christine Hill handled my business professionally and intelligently. I did not have to wait long, car was promised as was price agreed upon, and paper work was brief and easy. Got car the same day I walked onto the lot. Very good experience, and I would highly recommend her and the dealership as well.

I was very happy with my overall buying experience at Suburban. Ben and Chad turned a frustrating sequence of events into a great result, and earned my trust and appreciation. I am looking forward to working with Suburban as we get to know our new vehicle!

Stay away from this dealer. I am surprised that they are still in business. Very bad experience. I have been there three times and every time experienced bad service. 1st time was was charged for something that I did not need. 2nd time quoted one price then later was a lot more. 3rd time was promised that they would do something and then they backed out and said go to another dealer. Telling me they don't care.

The customer service here is so good! Employees are always friendly and explain everything clearly. Recently, when I picked up my car, they had parked it in a different lot from their normal spot. I didn't mind walking over to get it, but a wonderful older gentleman in the service department, Mel, went to get it, and even gave me a free car wash because of the confusion. These guys are top notch, and I'll happily drive out of my way to come to this dealership again.

I made an appointment with this dealership on a Monday afternoon to check out a used car the next morning. I rent a car and drive all the way out there. Then, they inform me the car I was interested in sold the night before. No call. No email. Unbelievable. Yet, they send follow up emails? Psh.

My first experience and impression of Suburban Tro...

My first experience and impression of Suburban Troy (specifically the service department) was not the best. I tried to go through the right avenues to get help with my problem but never really felt like anyone was willing to take responsibility and I was shuffled around to multiple people. I was eventually contacted by Ben Heer to get more information to work on how to fix the problem. Ben, along with the service director (Jim) and a service manager (Doug) were able to look into the events that took place and were willing to work with me to make it right. I appreciate that they were willing to listen to me without getting defensive and making excuses- they admitted that there were things that went wrong and then they fixed them. While I'm still disappointed in my original experience, I am satisfied with their efforts to improve my experience and to show me how a customer should be treated. I will give Suburban Troy a second chance for future service to my vehicle.
