This is my second car purchased from Sterling Mcca...

This is my second car purchased from Sterling Mccall, a main reason for me going back to them has been their service department, they are extremely professional and have always made me feel like I'm a very important customer. Their complimentary wash and vacuum service, along with their complimentary gourmet coffee and snacks are a step above most service departments.

I very much recommend Sterling Mccall.

In my opinion this dealership has one of the worst customer service standards ever. I bought a vehicle a week ago, when the vehicle was delivered the hood s latch was not working. On my way home I noticed one of the tire s pressure was considerably lower than the rest, next morning I took the vehicle back and told them the issue, I was told it was fixed , I had to take it back a few days later because the tire s pressure was low again, it turns out there was a nail on the tire in a part of it where ir cannot be fixed. I feel very concerned not only with the fact they deliver the car in that state or that I took it back and they failed to report the issue to me. I had to buy new tires (of course I bought them somewhere else because I don t feel comfortable with this dealership) because I was told there was nothing they could do . I will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Came back here only because of Darrell Lowe! He s a great salesman and an even nicer person! He really knows his Acuras! He helped me to get a nice deal and to get out of my previous lease several months early! Pleasant experience!

Our time at Sterling McCall Acura was not perfect....

Our time at Sterling McCall Acura was not perfect. We thought they might fit into a typical car dealership when we left. The problem was, the vehicle we were interested in needed a SD card in order for the navigation to work. It was not there and could not be found. They called us about an hour after we left asking if they promised to order one for us, would we agree to purchase the vehicle? We agreed it was as acceptable and went back to sign the documents. All is well now. We are thrilled of our purchase and want to thank them for not fitting as a typical car dealership. Derek (our sales rep), and Fadih ( the manager), and Jaime (the finance guy) were all top notch awesome. THANK YOU!!!

Leaving a review to acknowledge the amazing service and attention to customers needs that come from the staff at Sterling McCall Acura. I m in the insurance business and I can say its very rare you walk into a dealership and literally every person is kind, with a smile on their face.

And not even searching for a car, I met Mr Darrell Babineaux who not only got me into a vehicle i was eyeing as I left one day, but was very attentive and worked with my needs to get the perfect deal for me and my lifestyle. Most people in sales only focus on just that... getting a sale. But everyone from Darrell down to Finance made sure everything worked well for me. Mr Babineaux even took it to the extent of getting my car shipped from Austin so that I could hv the interior details I wanted. Service right!

And to top it off the GM I noticed was always walking around, greeting guest and attentive to her staff! Definitely one of the top in ales and service.

My first car buying experience with Francis was phenomenal absolutely no complaints. My experience with the finance manager Bobby Patel not so much. Two days after purchasing my car in august I went back to the dealership to cancel the extra warranty. I signed a form and was told my lender will be credited back the money in 8-10 weeks. It is now November and after several calls and messages I was informed the warranty was NEVER cancelled and Bobby is no longer with the company(shocker). The problem was resolved after several more calls for the form to be emailed to me and now I have to wait another 8-10 weeks to contact my lender and see if this was processed correctly this time around. I never received a simple apology for this poor customer service from a luxury dealership. I am highly disappointed in this treatment and when it s time for an upgrade I will be sure to go elsewhere.

Searching for a used car to tie me over for a couple years, basically a cash car. I came in to look at a '07 Honda Accord, but wasn't necessarily feeling it. Tory N. was aggressive, yet determined to help me find a used car that would suit my needs and also wow me! I appreciated her for that as others would like tell me "Good luck on your search." She ended up finding an '09 Honda Accord that was loaded to the max and within my price range. The dealership was able to work with me on price which helped me walk out the door a new car owner!

I m always shocked at how much they charge for bot...

I m always shocked at how much they charge for both parts and service. A replacement key and fob is about a 300% markup. To program a key (about a 16 second exercise per YouTube video) costs $160! Trying to stay in my lane, but this is ridiculous! Never coming here again or buying an Acura again. And it took about two hours..and when they pulled it up ready , the key wasn t working properly! This was a simple exercise. What kind of QA/QC are they missing on complicated engine repairs?!

Unfortunately my car had to be towed in for a dead battery, but after the car arrived, the service was timely and everyone was courteous and helpful. Checkout was quick and painless, and so far my car is working great. I will definitely take my car back to Sterling McCall for future repairs.

They said we don't play price games but when I try to buy car they increase price by ~1000$ for tint,oil change, and wheel locks. When I try to cancel they said we already install that package but tint and wheel lock been already installed by bmw.

On my second new car purchase from them, my signat...

On my second new car purchase from them, my signature was forged on one of the documents to make the sale count for 2014. They didn't install the 5000lb towing package as stated in contract (noticed it was the 3500 lb 3 weeks later when I opened the hood).

The general manager there Tod had the audacity to tell me "all this was a non issue." This is the kind of treatment I got as a returning customer.

Returned the vehicle and won't be servicing my other acura there.

I tried my best to summarize this review without going through all the details, stress and how long it took to return the car to Sterling McCall but in response to the owner's response below I have to note 2 things.

1. I traded in my truck for this purchase at a price well below KBB because I thought I was getting a good deal. Sterling McCall did not return my truck to me, they only gave me that dollar figure, which was a loss in the thousands range.

2. I never received an apology from the GM all the times I met with him. I guess it's because of this google review their internet specialist "the owner" is apologizing.

We really had an excelllent experience at Sterling Mccall Acura. We ended up leasing our Mdx with them and it was painless. Wr. Will Paz, the Sales Mgr was amazing took really good care of us and made it a very easy and great experience. He is an asset to the company. Very very professional and pleasant people to deal with.....I give them thumbs up

Updated review: I have changed my review to 4 stars based on followup a couple days later from the manager who took care of our situation. I appreciate the time he took to take care of us and take accountability for the team. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you handle those mistakes that's important. THAT is the kind of service I would expect from an Acura dealership. Thanks for taking care of us and our service.

I called 45 minutes prior to my service apt and asked to confirm the address and told the girl I had a 12:00 apt. I arrive at 12 to be told that the power is out and they can't service my vehicle. So, I took a half day at work for this, drove 30 minutes to get there only to be told they can't service my vehicle but that I can wait for the power to go back on so they can complete my 2-2.5 hr service. No thank you! Now I needed to do it all over again another day, take another half day. They should have called and rescheduled my apt or the woman I spoke to confirming the address should have informed me.

Quality work and service. Only a few issues. Car had oil smudges on drivers side door and steering wheel slightly nicked. However, the service rep quickly took care of the oil smudges and extended the option to bring the car back if I wanted washed again since it had been out in dust that day. I bought my car at this dealership, so they have been taking good care of me for years now.

This was one of the few times I ve gone in for service and didn t have an appointment. But they got me in and out much quicker than I expected. Also my service advisor was very professional, friendly, and kept in touch with me throughout my service. Even though I ve moved and I m closer to two other Acura dealerships, I will continue to come to Sterling for my service needs.

UPDATE: They called and I got what I am sure they thought was an apology. Then they gave me a bunch of excuses and actually tried to sell me the same vehicle again over the phone. I can t speak for their new car service, but the pre-owned division is not a place I would recommend anyone visit.

UPDATE: They responded to the review I posted today but they didn t actually apologize or actually contact me. I guess a one day turn around when I wasn t making them money wasn t much of a priority. They have my number and know who I am as I talked to and texted with 3 of the sales people. Looks like just more lies.... see below.

Pre-Owned Division

Simply put these guys lied to me and wasted my time. I took time off of work to look at a vehicle they were selling and it only cost ME money and time. Anything you wanna hear to get you on their lot.

I was told before I got there that they had their mechanics go over every pre-owned vehicle before they sell it.

I set an appointment, I even came on time. They "Adam the salesperson" showed me the vehicle and within 5 mins I found a pool of oil on the top of the engine. It was clearly leaking at least from the valve cover gasket. Before he noticed it he again said it had a full inspection from their mechanics. After I pointed it out to him, he told me maybe they added oil to it and that's why it was pooled in the engine.

Obviously this was a standard lie as the oil was not fresh and clean. I didn't bother to look any further as they lost my trust that moment.

Stay away from their overpriced used cars or you are just wasting your time and money on terrible mechanics that either can't spot a major oil leak on the top center of the engine, or can't use a funnel to top off the engine with used motor oil.

I dropped the suv at 11:25 for oil changes and I called 1:30 and still was not ready and I was told be ready in hour and half and o got the call car is ready at 3 and someone suppose to pick me up in few minutes but it took another hour and 20 minutes. I asked for discount cause it took long to get ready and picking me up, I got there 4:40 and there were no customers and they should have given me the $20-$25 discount

Worst car buying experience ever! When the sales manager says "I don't need to make a sale on the car, I'm low on inventory anyways!" -- you know you are in for a long excruciating process. All the managers missed customer service 101. Fateh and Charlie are an absolute disgrace to this dealership.

Awesome experience purchasing a new family vehicle...

Awesome experience purchasing a new family vehicle and trading in our old one. Michael Johnson was especially helpful even while wrangling a toddler. Somehow he managed to make the experience very easy given the distance and time we work from home. We came away with the new vehicle and a new lease on car buying (no pun intended). Even after the deal had been completed he continued to treat us like family as we work through some of the paperwork. And Cory in finance worked very hard to find us the best possible deal even after our monthly payment needs it in that he continue to work late into the evening to try to find us a better interest-rate, we couldn t believe someone would spend that much time late in the evening to find us a better deal. No better place to buy a new car.

He was very helpful and was able to answer every single question we had. The whole experience was very pleasant. We left the dealer with a brand new '19 RDX, best vehicle I've ever owned. Definitely would come back again to this dealership for any future purchases.

The salesman that helped her had such knowledge of the car she wanted he made her feel so comfortable that she bought the car the same day, she called me to sign the final paperwork and everyone was so nice the sales manager was extremely nice as well I m tell you this is A 1 service in my book. I am so pleased with everything that I am literally taking the time to write a review because this is how happy I am with this dealership. I really enjoyed buying a car from this dealership.

I have an ongoing issue with this dealership. I gave a 1 star 2 months ago in which Kim (the general manager) replied to and stated to email her which was done and now here we are 2 months later and still waiting for a response to my email. Brought my car from this dealership in May of 2019 and starting October of 2019 there has been a rattling sound coming from inside the car and it is now July of 2020 and they have found no solution to this problem. Used to deal with Mario who is the previous service manager who couldn't keep his words and now there is a new service manager name Wayne who is no better. He told me to bring my car last Monday and he would put me in a loaner and get my car fixed and I called him last Monday morning to let him know I wouldn't be able to make it and that I would bring it in today and he acted like he didn't even know I was bringing my car that Monday. I am glad I didn't go because I doubt he had a loaner for me. I called this morning to make sure they had a loaner for me and knew I was bringing the car in today and come to find out Wayne was out of the office so I spoke to a service advisor and they stated that there was no appointment in the system and they don't have any loaners so basically I would have made a blank trip. I called and spoke to Kim the general manager whose attitude didn't seem fit for a general manager but the response I got seemed like she could care less about this situation and in trying to help me. I wish I had never brought my car from this dealership because I have had the worst customer service.

As tends to normally happen when going for a service, I was dreading the wait, up selling and over pricing, from this dealer from who I had bought my car:
I have to say that my perceptions have changed completely after my recent visit:
- For my planned service on Monday, I received a nice email reminder on Sunday, with directions and a map
- On arriving, the receiving person immediately directed me inside and started the paperwork
- The best was my service advisor, who was very polite and helpful, and gave me a frank and honest assessment and pricing for all that was needed
- They even offered me a loaner car and told me to await a call before heading over !
- On going to collect my car, I was out in 5 mins flat to a clean car
- The best part, as I later discovered after driving for a day or so, was that the car ran as good as new :)

Will highly recommend this Sterling McCall dealer for buying, service (Richard Hudson), and service advice (Jack Chambers)

Just bought a pre-owned ILX tonight. Salman is the most Acura-knowledgeable person I met during my Acura buying experience. He explained me everything about all the packages (tech, premium), safety features, accessories, differences in models, years, advantages and disadvantages from one model to another. Salman was so helpful, always respectful, easy to talk to and willing to clarify all my questions. Not only he knows about Acuras but also about other car brands :).

He even offered me a discount since the day was close to Independence Day and Sterling McCall had service discount during the time period. Well first off, my experience was AMAZING! There was food there for the customers who were waiting, and there was someone constantly asking how we were and if we needed anything. Special shoutout to my salesman Derrel Babineaux, he helped me in ways I am beyond grateful for. Have to give a 3 because of finance person who was a master at doublespeak. Sales rep and service people were outstanding. This finance guy tried to get us to forego our downpayment and ignored the time I asked for on loan. Time with him was frustrating and negated our otherwise good experience. Watch out for a deceptively expensive extended warranty

I used to come to Sterling McCall Acura and loved my service advisor Charlie. I was so upset when i came back and he was no longer there. I wasn t happy with one of the advisors I worked with after Charlie and ended up going elsewhere for service for some time. I decided to try again recently to schedule service and so glad I did. Brandy is amazing. She is so helpful and pleasant; you can tell she loves what she does and cares about her clients. I wish more service advisors were more like her! She texted me constantly with updates so I didn t have to keep calling back and asking. She is a rockstar!

Amazing first time buyer experience. Russel was my Sales associate and he treated me very well. Answered all of my question and guided me through the process as best he could. On top of that, when it came time to talk numbers he was actually willing to move on the pricing rather become offended like so many other sellers do. Chris the Financing manager was also extremely helpful in finding a lender with a low APR and reasonable payments for my budget. I'm a bartender and the fact that a large portion of my income is cash some times makes it difficult to prove how much I make, but these guys really worked hard to make sure I got the Car I wanted for the price I wanted and the fit it in the budget rang I needed. No only that, but I left a very important metal in my trade in car and Russel went out of his way to ensure it got back to me and I will never forget that act of kindness. Sterling should really be thankful for this team because I will be coming to them first the next time I buy. Thanks Russel.

He is sincer, friendly and knowledgeable Service Consultant. He explained the car a multipoint inspection report and what needs to be done in next service, along with the cost estimate.

Update: 5 days and still nothing from the GM after...

Update: 5 days and still nothing from the GM after he stated he would look into my concerns 5 days ago. I even decided to send an email to the email he provided below and have yet to hear back. I also was charged $995 for their dealer plan which didn t not include window tint nor the custom wheel locks. Hopefully no one else falls for this scam as it seems like once you re out of the door this dealer doesn t care about your concerns.

Purchased a vehicle from this location and before even deciding to buy I made sure to look over the vehicle and see if I can see anything visually wrong with the car. I advice the salesman that I want to take the car to a mechanic to get an inspection and get told by the salesmen our cars go through a rigorous inspection and if issues are found we make sure they are fixed and if not up to standard car goes to auction so that gives me a piece of mind and I proceed with the purchase. 2 days later dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree and just about every light comes on. Sales guy has me take the vehicle to one of his mechanics where they tell me that sensors were dirty and we took care of it . Now I have an airbag light and low tire pressure system that constantly stays on. Yesterday I decided to take the car for a tire balance due to vibration at certain speeds and get told that both wheels on passenger side are bent.. now I have a vehicle that is potential road hazard. Not sure how these issues would not have been caught if car went through a rigorous inspection process. Definitely not coming back to this location and will never recommend this dealer to anyone.

Last week I had service appointment for my MDX has cooling issues, my service advisor was Christoper G. I received excellent customer service by far, with great communications and prompt advice.Kudoos!!
