Our family has been a customer of Sterling McCall Acura for a decade plus now. We will continue to support Sterling McCall because of their hospitality and customer service acumen. From sale department to services and parts, they are all exceptional, truly outstanding. Thank you for taking care of all our needs. Acura quality/value is one of the best in the automotive industry.

Honestly one of the better dealership experiences ...

Honestly one of the better dealership experiences I've had for car buying. (Haven't used the service department, so this review does not address service). In the past week I visited about 7 dealerships for 5 different auto brands. Some were pretty bad, some were average.

Buying with Drew Spence at Acura, however, was great. He didn't play any games. We got our trade in valued first so we knew our budget up front. We then discussed our budget and he only showed us vehicles within it. He then worked with us on rebates to get us into that budget. He also respected my wife and did not patronize her, which is refreshing compared to other dealerships.

The only drawback was we had to use Acura financing to get the rebates, which was worse than the financing I got on my own in advance. But I ended up getting a MDX technology package here for less than what I got quoted at a Kia dealership for a Telluride in a higher trim (EX Premium).

I regret I got my Acura MDX. I wish I have never bought it. I bought it brand new from a dealer. After I bougt it not before too long my CD changer broke and I took it to the dealer to be fixed and they lost all my CDs. I was told they ship the changer to another location and they will not be able to retrieve it. Then I noticed my steering wheel is getting stiff. I bought the fluid and try to refill but there was no change. I took it to the dealer and I was told there is a leakage. Next I start geting SHAW warning sign, brought it to the dealer got it fixed. Then Check Emission System warning sign start coming up. Brought it back to the dealer and I was told one of the fuse has burned out it needs to be replaced and I did that. After a month or two my car needed an oil change so I took it back to the dealer and got an oil change. Not even two days after that my car start showing low water fluid for wind shield. I went to autozone try to refill but it start pouring out. Now again for the second time SHAW and Check Emission System warning signs are showing. I don't know what they did to my car. I am scared to take it back to the dealer. I am very upset and very disappointed with their car mechanics and the dealer itself.

Shelby Eastin and his entire team at Sterling McCall Acura are terrific! I got a great price Shelby provided superb customer service and convenience by delivering new MDX to my home. The purchase process was stress free and they were upfront about cost and options. I will certainly recommend Shelby to anyone that is looking for a great buying experience.

Easy in and out on a new Acura RDX a spec. We had shoped with a competitor so we knew the price we wanted. The sales man ( Mike Duong ) came initially with a very good price which we counter offered and it was done. No back and forth with the manager. Financing was also quick. They listenned to what we wanted and didn't need. We were in and out in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Other dealership (John Eagle) almost the whole Saturday with no deal and a lot of stress over a couple of hundred dollars.

I brought my car in Saturday Morning with the Battery icon showing on the dash. I did not have an appointment. I said I needed an alternator. The alternator was replaced, car washed and cleaned, ready for pick up that afternoon. I was very pleased with the service. Elizabeth was very efficient courteous, professional.

I was online looking for a particular vehicle & was trying to get out of one as well when I came across one at a fellow Sterling McCall dealership. I contacted that location & hadn't gotten no where. I contacted other dealers & received a bunch of lines, even went to one, big waste of time. I was speaking with a friend about it & was referred to a Darrell Babineaux at a sister location: Sterling McCall Acura. He called me & I explained my situation and I tell you this guy went to work , he contacted the dealer even went over to get the car himself, they told them it was deposit on the one I wanted but that didn't stop Darrell. He hit 2 or 3 different dealerships until he found my car, I was on the ropes about buying but the amount of work this guy did is way too much to put in a review. I highly recommend anyone in the market for ANY car to go to Sterling McCall Acura. The finance team is great, they work to provide you with all your options upfront not red tape & hours of waiting, they are very straight forward no false promises. Hands down my best car buying experience PERIOD ...

Worst service experience....will not come here aga...

Worst service experience....will not come here again. No accountability, delays forever, very poor communication, no respect for customer's time. I waited for an hour to see a service adviser, Fine, after giving my MDX for service, It was promised to be delivered next day but no communication from the service adviser whatsoever on the next day. Even after these delays, I have been calling to find out the status of the vehicle with no luck. Service department of Sterling Mccall at Southwest Freeway sucks!!! I purchased the MDX from this dealership only, but after such a bad service experience, I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.

David was the best service advisor, he listens and helped us solved all of our concerns and problems. My dad had language barrier but David made it so easy for him to drop off the vehicle and pick up the vehicle once it was complete. Thanks!

I came into the dealership and was greeted by the salesman Juan Island. The entire process of buying a car with him was unbelievable. He made sure I was happy the entire process, worked with me to get the price I wanted, and showed me an experience most dealers lack. If you want an Acura and are near this dealership, please ask for Juan Island. I ll never forget that name and the expertise / knowledge he shared. I gladly drove off the lot with a brand new car he had delivered from another dealership while I was sitting there and haven t looked back.

I had to make an emergency trip to Houston and my car was in need of servicing. I was hearing a strange sound when making a left turn. Before returning to Louisiana I was advised to have it checked.I called Sterling McCall Acura and explained my circumstances.The service department staff were accommodating, patient and very understanding.My Service Consultant ,Raumi, was absolutely a life saver! He helped me understand the problem , spoke to the mechanics on my behalf and went above and beyond. I can t thank him enough ! I am so grateful. I m confident that my car is in great condition to return home! I love my Acura and I love Sterling McCall , the service is awesome! Thanks so much!!

Great service, as usual, at Sterling McCall Acura. Easy to make appointment, convenient check-in outside as you pull-in, meet & greet with your advisor, confirming the service needed, update and checkout including a car-wash. Brenda Ramirez, my advisor (2nd time I worked with her), is excellent and makes the visit pleasant with her cheerful, friendly advise and updates. Also nice waiting area with coffee and snacks, in case you are hungry. Only thing they can improve on is the turnaround time- an oil change, multipoint inspection and car wash should be completed in 1.5 hours with a scheduled appointment time.

Please use a different Acura dealership! They take your money and provide poor customer satisfaction. My car was flooded in hurricane Harvey and I read many positive reviews about this dealer (and they said they didn t flood) which influenced my decision to buy from them.
What a mistake! I bought a brand new car and 10 days later I was sitting in the service department because my vehicle had an unknown malfunction. At least that was what I was told, although a quick google search revealed it is a known issue they choose to ignore!
The general manager Jim Smith is just simply awful, has no compassion, offers no recompense for their failures, and could not wait to get me out of his office. My sales agent Shelby Eastin was neglectful! They literally cannot be bother with my car issues. Talk about buyer s remorse to the extreme.
The irony of this whole story is, the loaner they gave me did the exact same thing! The unknown malfunction happened on two of their brand new vehicles! They fixed my car (after 5 days), but missed so many opportunities to earn back my business and confidence.
Truly the worst experience I ve had with a dealership and I ve purchased many new cars in the past!

The buying process was easy and painless, it s what happened after the purchase that has me baffled. My sales guy was good and helpful. The car I wanted was on the website and per the website was not a certified pre-owned vehicle. When I got to the dealership and expressed interest, I was told that it was actually a CPO and that it had a warranty and everything. After purchase, I got in and the remote battery needed to be changed. No big deal, they can fix it and they did. On the 3rd day of ownership, the battery died. When I called the dealership, they were responsive and had a tow truck come get it. I m feeling a bit nervous because I would like to know what certified really means. I have no doubt that the vehicle can be great, but I just wished that they would have truly certified the car and fixed everything before they told me it was.

We had a great experience with Sterling McCall Acura. I actually went to the wrong dealership for my appointment. They were nice and didn't try to 'steal me away'. I kept my previous appointment and when I didn't care for the car came back to Sterling McCall Acura and ended up buying a new car. Quentin was our Sales Associate and he was amazing. He showed us different options in used cars and also a new. He didn't try to sway us one way or another, just let us make a decision on what was best for us. Highly recommend them.

Would not recommend to anyone. If you are looking for a honest dealership to buy your new car from this is not the place. Lied about trade in value, carfax, and pending recalls. Stephanie was my sales agent not only was she not very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing but also told me my trade in was worth $500 because of a few accidents on the carfax. After seeing that they now have the vehicle up for sale for $4,194 I checked the carfax and found that there were 0 accidents on carfax. Also informed me of one pending recall on vehicle to be purchased when here are actually three. Completely disgusted with the way Sterling McCall will take advantage of you. Would recommend any other dealership over this one.

Update:
I recieved a call from Tom Daigle a couple of days after writing this review. I wasn't able to answer the phone but he left a message saying he wanted to know what he could do to make my experience better. I called him back of course he didn't answer so I left a message with my information and still have not received a call back from him. Also they said they had performed a oil change and fluid check at 49,488 miles but when I bought the car the coolant was below the minimum line then at 50,000 miles I got a prompt to change the oil I was hoping that it had just not been reset but this wasn't the case I have never seen oil so black. Apparently they just wrote down that they did the work without actually doing it. I'm convinced that you can't believe a single thing this dealership says.

I will start with I have never left a review before, but in this case it's needed. Found 2014 used MDX on their site and went to view. Met Shelby Eastin their internet used car guy. Viewed car and they viewed my trade in. He tells me a recall on that specific vehicle just went into effect so he can't sell it today (June 29th). We continue exchanging emails and came to agreement on price, trade-in, etc. (July 4th). We have agreement in place and now I'm just waiting to come in and complete paperwork. So over a 3 week period were continuing to exchange emails and I continue asking when the fix on recall will be complete. He keeps telling me "almost done and let you know right when I can sell". I then got this email from him late last night: "Sorry but I just found out that it got sold last week even though the recall was not done yet." (July 20th). He strung me along for weeks until he found a better offer. Wasted countless time and basically just used me as a back up plan. Shelby and therefore Sterling McCall have unethical business practices and behavior.

I have been going to this dealership for quite som...

I have been going to this dealership for quite some time and I was happy with the service. If there was ever an issue, it was resolved immediately and forgotten. I have always gotten my cars serviced here and didn t have an issue until now.
To come back to pick up my vehicle and see a very noticeable dent on my hood and scratch making the paint come off... was not something I was expecting...especially because it wasn t there when I left my car.
The advisor Juan Macias, is a great guy and has awesome customer service. I honestly can t and won t blame him for this. He is very attentive and tried to do all in his power to make this right.
That s the type of customer service I was used to at this dealership, That was when The director and manager Richard and Derek were there. They were amazing, if there was ever an issue...one if not both would reach out to me. Not once did this new management reach out to say anything on this matter. I am very disappointed.

I received an email about a recall for my 2017 Acura TLX so I called ahead to schedule an appointment for service. I also scheduled my A1 service at that time. I was told that a loaner car would be provided. I arrived for my 7:00am appointment at 6:50am. I finally spoke with a service representative at about 7:10 am. The rep started our conversation by saying that she was about to call me to let me know that there were no loaner cars available. It wouldn t have been so bad had I not driven out of my way to get to the appointment and I still had to get to another appointment clear across town. Fortunately, when I called and spoke to a manager he comped my oil change.

Update: Go To John Eagle Acura

Get a extended warranty recall notice, check my milage on my way to work and I'll be over my warranty milage on my way from work to the dealership (less than 20 miles away).

Sterling McCall suggested I pay to have my car towed to be under the milage.. Ask if supervisor would be able to honor warranty, supervisor said no.

Called John Eagle Acura, they asked when I got the notice, & they said come on over we'll take care of it since you just received the notice.

Wow, crazy to think I have to drive from Sugar Land to Katy just for that. But that's it I'm not giving any more business to Sterling McCall and I suggest you make the drive as well, on the plus side the lobby and waiting area is much better @ John Eagle!

I ve been taking my TL for service @Sterling McCall few years and the service has always been good. However, I took my car last week for oil change, and programming a new key and the customer service was oustanding! My advisor Diase S. was so nice. He took care of all the things my car needed. I highly recommend this place.

I recently purchased a car at Sterling McCall Acura. The sales person (Mr. Darrell Babineaux) was very professional and nice. He answered all of our questions, concerns and explained everything to us. He put us at ease, was very honest and forthright - we felt No High Pressure.

I was disappointed by the service there. I went there after talking on the phone with a sales person and receiving a price quote. Once there after spending time and checking out the vehicle, and confirming price, one of the sales manager(other than the person dealing with for past hour, saying I am the boss) comes back and says that price is not possible and she quotes almost 1500 dollars more and says take it or leave it. We left and bought our car at Gillman Acura.

I give a one star and thats for wasting my time they posted a car with 14,485 mileage on three website only to get there after warning the sales rep that I didn't want to drive that long distance(1hr 18min) in vain and it was 19,546
After asking them for a driveout price got there and they increased the price and very rude customer service by a guy called Thomas

I think they overbook. When I arrived for a scheduled 10:00 oil change, I waited 20 minutes just to talk to the service person before my car was taken back. Then another hour for the oil change. When it was all said and done, I was there almost two hours. The employees were all very nice, at least, and the waiting area was adequate. The complimentary car wash was a surface clean - I had to go home and clean my windows and deeper dirt. I likely won't return, mostly because of the wait. Everyone was complaining about it. They need to allow more time between appointments.

I would have given 5 stars because everything worked out great, everyone was friendly and helpful but the four stars is because you told me that you would rotate the tires for me to drive 800 miles back home and when I got back home found out they were not rotated.

He took his time, does not rush you, is not pushy and listens to what your needs are in your new car. I did not end up purchasing a car, because they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but want to thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping me look for a car!

Always professional. Ok so dealerships not cheap option but get what you pay for. After a cheaper shop caused a leak by forcing oil pan bolt that caused replacement of pan! I went back to sterling McCall. David Gilbert great service consultant.
