- The staff is very nice and friendly. - The hotel is 10 minutes away from times square (walking distance). - They offer baggage storage for their clients after check out for free. - They offer buffet breakfast for free and have 3 spaces for you to have breakfast. The breakfast is really good and with several options. - The only bad things are the sink in the bathroom (the faucet was too close to one side and was a little hard to use the water so close to the sink wall) and the elevator is ridiculously slow and get stuck a lot (we were in floor 30, a little hard for the stairs).

The Staff is wonderful, helpful in every way! Room are very decent for New York City. The elevators are slow. And they have a wonderful social hour 3 days a week! I mean who does love free wine and beer!

Without exaggerated expectations, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel.
The location is fabulous, a 10 minute walk to Times Square, 1 minute to the subway. Many restaurants, bars and delis in the immediate vicinity. Hells Kitchen is a great, lively neighborhood. Right on the corner at 2 Bros Pizza they had the tastiest pizza we've ever had for $ 1 a piece! Definitely try :-)
We had a large room with all the amenities: huge bed, kitchenette, large TV, free wifi, safe, plenty of storage space, desk. Everything clean and relatively modern. The bathroom was also big and clean. Room service every day. It was relatively quiet by New York standards.
Another highlight was the American breakfast. Delicious! In contrast to other reviewers, we always got a seat and except for one time we were lucky with the elevators.
Conclusion: gladly again, New York great, hotel great!

Loved this hotel. From the moment we pulled up till the moment we left everyone in the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and loved. The valet was just phenomenal. The front desk people stupendous. The breakfast crew just fantastic. One of the best was the last who was bartending. She was engaging, entertaining and made us feel like we were her best friends. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Very good place fairly clean but I don't like to think about who could have been doing what where I need to sleep so let's just ignore the fact that anything could have been going on just a few hours before in that bed that you're sleeping in now :-)

Okay. Rooms at 250 dollars per night x 2 people. With decent breakfast in the morning. Well located. Not luxurious but nice. Very good location NY is charisma so it is well priced. In the corner there is a pizzeria of the cheapest in the area. 2 servings and a drink 3 dollars. Luck

Location was perfect for what we were looking for near times Square, the rooms had a full kitchen, the breakfast buffet was very good, but the elevators were a bit of a pain, they should dedicate one elevator to a certain amount of floors to ease the congestion, other than that a nice place to stay.

Have been here for a week and it is only 2 days there has not been a lift stop in 1-2 lifts of 3.
Glad I live in 6 floors and not in 30 and up.
Little seating at times at breakfast.
Decent food and OK service

Essential and clean with a 100 meter subway. The studios offer a valid alternative to the expensive American dinner outside, even if thanks to the excellent location, it is easy to reach the beating heart of Manhattan "Times square" for an after dinner. Exquisite and helpful staff especially the concierges with helpful suggestions. Fabulous beds. They could only give Po a bit of panache to breakfast ..... it has always been said that good morning starts in the morning ....

Great hotel for a city break, large rooms, friendly staff and ideal location for exploring. Breakfast is above average for American standards. It even includes an evening buffet of beer and wine. I would recommend the Staybridge to friends without reservation and would book it again when visiting again.

The first very good for staff mainly catering. Thanks to Zou for his welcome and his kindness. Hotel near subway and various activities. Well equipped room. The common areas are aging
Booking service has lost our booking, despite the confirmation email. Arriving at the hotel no room available with 2 young children and the booking service do it! By dint of speaking, we could have 2 rooms, but what a stress and if one did not practice English what to do! Inadmissible!

Great

Breakfast was good. We were there in new years so pretty crowded and elevator takes forever. Luckly we were on the top floor so our elevator is always empty when we need it. Overall, good experience. Close to time square.

Half the rooms on each floor are immediately next to the elevators, and they are very loud. You will have a hard time getting a good night's sleep with screechy elevators going off all night.

Hotel well located in New York but behind the bus station: the rooms facing the street are very noisy. kitchenette in the bedrooms. clean rooms. be careful to confirm your reservations for the visits they will not be of service by calling for you - except ... if you do not take the tourism professionals that they have chosen and whose flyers are at the entrance of the hotel !!!

I enjoyed my stay here at Staybridge Suites - Times Square. The room I stayed in was clean and really large compared to other hotels. I don't know why people think the rooms are small. Trust me there are far smaller rooms in Manhattan. This hotel is not one of them. The best part about the room is the kitchenette and the fridge.

Front desk staff was very professional and also friendly. Housekeeping staff are like ninjas. They're really good at cleaning rooms efficiently.

I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for two nights prior to Christmas, 2011. It was my third visit to the hotel. Everything was excellent except the front desk staff. More than three employees had the same crummy attitude. They seemed to care more about joking with each other than helping guests. When you could get their attention, they acted bothered and put out. Not what I expect from an IHG property. Room was the best! Could see the Empire State Building outside the window. Breakfast was really busy but delicious. Elevators were slow during peak times, but really just what you'd expect. Location can't be beat. Mini-kitchen with pots and utensils. I will be back, despite the staff. Fix the staff problems, and they get 5 stars!

Friendly reception. Rooms okay. Bathroom reasonable but small and cleaning could be better. Breakfast is well provided but busy and moderately replenished. There is a handy laundry facility and a very small gym. The location is perfectly central. The lifts often last an eternity.

Great staff, rooms, location, value and well maintained. The included breakfast offers a good range of hot and cold foods; very much better than most properties. The only drawback was that the shower stall is a bit small.

We love this hotel. Staybridge Suites is in a great location. It is near Times Square but on side street so it's quiet-er, but still near the action. It is right across the street from five subway stops. There are plenty of good restaurants around. They serve a complementary hot breakfast each morning. The rooms are large for NYC standards. They have a small kitchenette. They also utilize their space well for storage. The beds are comfortable

The breakfast can be crowded. We have also found the lobby to be congested almost all the time as it is small.

Well located hotel as it offers easy access to a wide variety of attractions, numerous shops, subway and buses. In addition, it has kitchen facilities in the apartments, which makes the Mayan food easy. Another positive point, which I would highlight as special, is to have laundry facilities with machines that can be used by the guests - which bariatric even expenses the cleaning of clothes (there is an emergency or you did not program as well in relation to to quantity if garment parts).

Relativity small room but I guess that's OK for NY.
Showerhead was broken but fixed during the day. Extra pillow request was not fulfilled.
Breakfast is overrun and likely to be out of the full selection even 30 min before official end.
Bottom line: you pay more for the location than you do for the hotel.

Was phenomenal! See images. Had most necessary items also in the kitchenette. Extra pillows and throws. Plenty space. They even had a special where they served food and drinks for happy hour all month in January. Room was clean. Only little minus was the bathroom glass doors could have been cleaned better.
Otherwise enjoyable stay.

Only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the staff was very friendly. I was not a fan of the hotel for the price. The room was large but the hotels amenities were severely lacking. I could not even use the phone in the room to call the front desk to ask for an extra blanket. We switched hotels after 1st night. The price of the room was only a bit cheaper than a 4 star place a few doors away. Again, the staff here is the asset.

Amazing staff! Always helpful and always polite! I stay here for work and pleasure when in NYC! Breakfast every morning and weeknight apps and drinks are a nice benefit! Rooms are of a real decent size for NYC and are recommended for extended stays. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of all major subway stations and landmarks. Really need to check them out when considering a stay in the big apple!

I stayed at this location a few years ago and was highly disappointed at how run down my room was. Mold in the bathroom, carpet torn and dirty and the toilet ran all night. I asked to be moved to another room, but was told it was a full house. My compensation was a bottle of water.

The hotel is excellent.

The hotel is excellent.
Located close to everything.
Wide rooms. Breakfast is comprehensive and is really not simple but very good
Really recommended

We received early check-in rooms at no extra charge

The room was great with a pretty decent view, it was small, but that's New York City for you! The bed was really comfy and having a fridge was awesome. The staff was very friendly. Location is everything in NYC and this was the perfect location with the 42nd street subway stop just around the corner. My wife and I love Broadway and all the theaters are in easy walking distance. Also, the free breakfast was really great every morning. The only flaw is the elevators are small, but again, that's NYC for you.

I was in April of 2018 for 10 days all very well booked to pay in the very friendly personal property. That's why I returned in October 2018 I booked in July to pay on the property for Booking but without notice at the end of August I was charged on the 3000 dollar card for the 9 day stay. The hotel has very good location and services but it seems that the Management changed because they were not very friendly except the Hispanics I found two only and the others face ... I ordered a single package from Amazon and they took a day to deliver it to me. Attention I learned that saves 2 dollars per package. Before it was free up to 5 packages.
Another detail in the check-out I am charged an additional 45 dollars and they do not explain why but the girl at the front desk tells me that they will return them, it did not happen I sent an email to reservations and they answer me that it is for an extra cleaning service , the other time I was there one more day they did not charge me anything more than the stipulated in day cleaning that appears in the daily hotel payment. The cleaning service this time was regular for under 9 days 3 the cleaning was not carried out, one day the towels were totally missing and as in each room there is a reservation that means that two days the cleaning did not provide replacement towels. I was trying to know and even claiming to IHG that it is an Associated Directory that has this and other hotel chains and nothing, I can not get a manager or someone to be responsible. I'm from Argentina and 45 dollars for our economy is very good and they should not charge you because there is no reason. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO ABOVE ALL WITH WHAT YOU BUY FOR BOOKING. The hotel is very nice but the staff's attention got worse.

Great hotel, parking situation is a little misleading. It s a small underground garage with lifts so you have to leave keys for them to jockey your vehicle around; was 35 for a car and 45 for oversized vehicle. I came in with a 4 door Chevy Silverado and wasn t an issue.

Hotel was a short walk from parking, checkin was easy and friendly.

On Sunday to Wednesday they do a free social hour with drinks and themed food they had bud light and Stella on tap with three different wines and the free food was Italian night with stuffed shells and salad.

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast the next morning was free continental with waffles, eggs, ham, bagels and such. Down stairs in the cellar is the peaceful place for breakfast

I got a moldy room. Spoke with the Manager about it and she promised to change it the next day. But it didnt happene they were sold out

1. Valet Parker's not very friendly and seem like they dont want to be their. I tried to ask questions about how to call for my car (as it was the first time I have ever valeted)? 10, 20 or 30 mins? All the guy told me was to take an Uber and continued looking at his phone.

2. The elevators were so slow and small. I waited 20 mins for an elevator. I have two children so I have a double stroller (cant take the stairs)

3. My fiance was out getting some food for us while I put the kids to bed. When he returned he said to me " Babe the hall smells like weed." I said well its not us so whatever. Maybe its across the hall. About 10 mins later (ish) the hotel mamager calls (waking up my kids... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!) and sqys he received a complaint that we werE smoking and that this is a warning. If they get another complaint, they will charge us $250.

I totally understand policies/rules, however I am completely offended that you would call and accuse us of smoking in your hotel. Listen we are not trashy people and we have respect. IF we EVER smoked, we would go outside and not with our children!

Im leaving this reveiew everywhere because I am appalled at the treatment and the lack of professionalism in how this was handled. IT WAS NOT US, how dare you accuse and tell me your going to charge me if another complaint comes in..... Prove it was us.... Come on up to our room and see! Maybe check the rats across the hall! I never been treated with suck disrespect!

The location is good, only a few minutes walk to Times Square. The rooms are tiny, there is no room at all to have them open on the floor, so unless you have a spare bed, you have to keep them closed, which is annoying. There are a few lifts but they are so slow, it can take 20 minutes on a morning to get a lift downstairs and the stairs aren't an option to take. Breakfast is included, a basic buffet but reasonable if you want to eat and start your day.

Over priced run down hotel! Very noisy you can hear everyone in there rooms. The room itself not as pictured on website. Everything was broke! Lights falling off the wall. Soap dish hanging off wall in shower stall and Bathroom sink completely clogged. Good luck get to and from your room. The tiny elevators take for ever to reach your floor and will open at every floor going down. We had to wait 30 minutes just to leave. Absolutely awful!

Stayed here for 3 weeks and changed 3 rooms. One of my worst experiences: almost zero internet speed ( less than 1-2 Mbps, free wifi but nothing comes through), zero maintenance ( shower had water drain problem, no one showed up to fix despite I requested for several days until they changed the room), absolutely unsafe neighborhood specially right in front of the entrance, staff were nice except of manager. I wouldn't give the 2nd star if it didn't have the tiny kitchen with oven, and dishwasher. Overall it was clean.

Good

Everything went well until we returned to France where I found that the daily cleaning of the room was billed and taken from the CB used for the deposit! No invoice was given to us for these fees! Really dishonest. To flee.

Updated: I am changing the review from one start to 3.5-4 star because Front Door Manager Mr. Gil Charleston resolved the issue.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had the displeasure of staying in the hotel on 5/5/18. The checkin was late around 4:30 pm but understandable given that it is a busy location. Room was considerably hot and after dinner I called front desk to check HVAC system around 11pm. They sent an engineer, who after one hour fixed the HVAC unit that only broke 10 minutes later. He again came and around 12:30 am and said that he can't fix the unit. They brought a small fan that also didn't work. After that engineer brought a big fan and it was put in the room at 1:30-2 am. The fan was like an old portable unit putting hot air right back in the room.
I decided to wake up my colleague at 2 am and slept in a different room.
Thought-out this inconvenience the front door staff mentioned that they will accommodate and will not charge the room. They send me bill stating HVAC issue deducting the amount and charging full amount back again. Finally, this morning, I spoke with another manger who has promised to resolve the issues.

This is an IDEAL location. You are in waling distance to a lot of things. Plus there is a FULL KITCHEN!!! You can grocery shop right up the street in walking distance (Fish Market, Grocery Store) and then come back, cook your food with stove, pots, dishes and then refrig your food. I just love this place. I would live there full-time if I could. Great staff as well very friendly...

The staff at the Staybridge are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a king room with a 5 month old baby for 25 nights, we recommend this hotel.
Rooms are nice, free breakfast in the mornings. For the price, the location is great. Walking distance to most activities.
I will point out that the 3 lifts can be busy during peak periods, we stayed on a lower ground floor and walked up the stairs during these periods.
Would definitely stayhere again.

Great Hotel. Not too pricey. Close to Times Square, but without the craziness. Free breakfast and free happy hour are great plus. As is the free laundry. On the bad side, Wi-Fi was painfully slow. Also, the three elevators can get quite busy during breakfast hours. All in all, great hotel for extended stays in NYC.
