We arrived on a Friday afternoon. When I went in to take a shower, the shower head was not able to turn on due to a broken valve. We called down to the desk. They sent someone up. He looked at it, said he d be right back to fix it, and never returned. After being woken up the next morning by an alarm that continued for 15 minutes, I called the desk again about the shower. As my husband and I were leaving to go out for the day, we talked to the front desk about the shower and were told that they promised to have it fixed by the time we returned to our room. Upon returning 8 hours later, the shower was still not repaired. By the last day and 4 requests to have out shower fixed, we had given up. Another huge negative is the elevator waits. The morning we left, we waited 30 minutes for an elevator. It was horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If this place doesn t care that you cannot take a proper shower during a three day stay, I really don t believe they care about anything.

Spent a week here. This is one of the better hotels in this strip. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms are large compared to the hotels next to it - more floor space than I'm used to in midtown. Kitchenette and dining bar were perfect. Storage and closets were good, had iron and ironing board. None of these hotels have room service, but this one at least has a food and drink area open all day and night for snacks and drinks. I stayed in room 10, I imagine this room is cheaper as it is bookended by the elevators. It's not that loud to be honest, once I figured out what that faint groaning sound was lol. After realizing it was just the elevators I think I haven't even noticed it since. This room is also on the back of the building, so street noise and sirens almost nonexistent. Bathrooms are nice, water is hot, and the shower head is high flow, it's amazing. I definitely recommend staybridge.

Terrible experience! Stayed there for five days and it was crappy from jump. On check in we had a room mix up, the room we got had a damp odor. I called to ask for housekeeping & no one ever came. The room had a kitchen but the sink was clogged. Called for maintenance no one came. The AC didn't work in my mom's room so she had to move to another room. There were 3 elevators and they were low quality. So much so that all but one eventually stopped working during our stay. And the one that did work was so rickety my sis and I got off of the elevator from the 28th floor and walked 14 flights with our luggage to check out all because we did not feel safe on the elevator. Oh, and did I mention that the hotel had a fire???? They think some one came into the hotel and started setting random fires in trash cans on different floors. I never saw a security guard on the premises or cameras. And there was no key code access required to access the elevators so random people could come in and out of the hotel and travel up the elevators or stairwells at their leisure. It was truly a piss poor experience and comes highly unrecommended. I will never stay at the location in NYC Times Square again.

The location is good but they never looked after us well, a lot of bad smell in the corridors, the elevators very bad ((no breakfast included.)), In five days they never changed our towels or cleaned the room InThey say it's because of the covi, but it's a lie, the breakfast place is under construction .

This hotel is just very blah. It s pricey for what you get. There s a lamp in my room that you can t turn off. There are two sets of drapes...one is sheer, and those are the only ones that actually cover the window. The second set is a heavier black-out type curtain, but they are affixed to the wall. You can t pull them closed. And obviously, the sheer curtains don t keep any light out.

I loved it! The rooms are like small apartments with a laundry room that is free only $1.00 for the soap. The staff is professional and the breakfast and social nights are included and make for a wonderful stay overall.

The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in taking care of the room. They provided clean sheets and towels every day. Breakfast was good and they started early so if you had a meeting or appointment you could eat before you leave.

Is there a zero. Disgusting. They had feces in the toilet when I checked in. The women wiped out the poop with toilet paper. I had such a terrible experience. They redirected me to another room which the key didnt work. Once we got a key a man was in the room. Finally we went to another room and it had two twin beds. Never again it was a nightmare. Mind you I had booked a king sized bed. I am contacting the b.b.b due to them failing compliance.

Love this hotel. Very convenient and priced for the location. Walkable to the main spots of New York. Very spacious rooms with a semi kitchen. The breakfast is quite sufficient and free. The weekend prices are expensive, but definitely good for business trips during the weekdays.

Not cheap, but you're in times square so you already know that. They have events with booze/food two nights a week for the guests at the hotel so when you're unsure of what to do but are exhausted they've got you covered. Athletic facility was a hair small and the elevators are obnoxious, but past that the room was ample and the staff fantastically helpful.

The structure as a whole is not bad, the central position facilitates all movements. The room is on average clean, although the change of towels must be requested; the bed is large and very comfortable. Cleaning in the common areas can certainly be improved. Sometimes the elevators, especially at peak times, are really overcrowded and very long waits. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The photos of the site reveal a structure in better than expected conditions. The staff is not always friendly and not always available to give you the information requested in an understandable way.

Very nice staff, they even offered us free breakfast when we did a very early check in. Never got to experience the evening reception as we were there on the weekend :( As reviewed by others the elevators did take awhile depending on time of day.

This hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are well-designed. We got a great deal for a January trip and it is in a great location, walking distance from the bus terminal, Times Square, and subway stop.
I take off 1 star for the elevator wait times, as others have mentioned, and the strange attitude of staff members. There s a $5 charge for housekeeping each day, and we only did it once to avoid paying the fees. For $5 we got the trash taken out, fresh towels, and a made bed. Coffee and bath products were not refilled as is typical in a hotel, and I couldn t get through to the front desk at all for over an hour to request more, and ended up coming by in the morning. The employee at that time said we have coffee? and seemed generally clueless. We also got the bill on our final day and had been charged for daily housekeeping, so I had to go dispute that with the front desk. It seems the front desk staff don t really know what they re doing.
We did not eat the free breakfast as there are no gluten free options and I have celiac so need separate food. Overall though, a good deal and great location.

Came in late at night, exhausted, they checked us in to an incomplete room, then were sent to another one where weed and cigarette odors were hunting the entire floor.
The next door room bathroom door squeaks at night. Beds aren't comfy at all. Conclusion, we will never come back when we come to NYC.

Hotel is well located and rooms are comfortable enough for businesses or leisure stays, yet the elevators are on the medium to small size and it's a big challenge to leave to work in the mornings.
Service is great for the breakfast in the "C" floor. The gentleman attending in the mornings is very polite, friendly, professional, and accommodating with all the guess. I give him a 5 stats for service on his shift

Everything at the hotel was perfect. The breakfast which is included is very complete and the big plus is the "social hours" from Monday to Friday which are a dinner buffet accompanied by not bad wines at all!
The rooms are cleaned every day which is really nice because all the bedding is changed.
I would 100% recommend this hotel for couples, families etc.

Hotel is located two blocks away from Times Square. 20 minute walk to American Museum of Natural History and Central Park. Service is awesome. Beds and pillows are so comfortable and the concierge helped us with everything. We had never been to New York and they helped us plan the whole trip for the whole week we were here. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Breathtaking views of Times Square especially in the upper floors very secure with room access starting on the third floor very convenient down to the street and across from the big steps... Parking is a little pricey at $85 a day but it certainly is an experience the rooms were spacious and clean and had light-blocking curtains we stayed on the 44th floor near the top and had beautiful views through three different sections of windows

Stayed there for 11 nights, the staff is really kind and willing to help but the house keeping is horrible, you're supposed to get new towels new toilet paper and shampoo every day but this never happened I can't even tell the number of times I ran out of toilet paper and had to wait like an hour till I get shampoo. Of course the staff promise you it won't happen again but they never did anything about it.always happened again the day after.
Nice rooms overall.

Nice view in case you have a upper floor room. The Rooms are nothing special, but we felt comfortable. The elevators are like crazy. You have to wait quite a long time for it and sometimes it does weird stuff... you push the down botton and it goes upwards and stops at every floor, but noone is there...
the location is great. There is a bus terminal right around the corner, which brings you to the airport very cheap.

Nice service apartment, unlike your normal hotel. They offer a lot of freebies including takeaway tea coffee, evening beer, wine and snacks, well equipped kitchen in the room if you want to save money eating out. It's definitely value for money place to stay in New York, plus the central location in time square and friendly staff. It's no brainer, I'll stay here again for sure.

Dreadful location, right next to the port authority, the neighbourhood is bereft of decent restaurants and late at night you will need to navigate past all sorts of unsavoury types to get back to your hotel. The staff are not particularly friendly (or competent); on check in I was given someone else's room - just glad that they were not in the room when I let myself in! I immediately went back to the reception to complain about the error expecting a very embarrassed front desk to apologise but was greeted with a shrug. Makes you wonder how often this mistake occurs.

This place is fine. The front desk staff aren't the friendliest, but the cleaning staff are so kind! The elevators are annoying. Expect a pretty long wait going up and down. I stayed on the 29th floor and usually took the stairs down. The location is great. Near the subway and many tourist areas.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room had a distinct smell almost like urine. The AC is very loud and constantly turns on and off during the night. The staff needs a lesson on how to dress up. None of the staff had any nametags. They ran out of BREAD during breakfast. Elevators are slow and noisy. Carpets are dirty. This place needs a total overhaul. You will be better off spending a little more money and staying at the hilton or marriott. At least you will have better rooms and more professional staff. Dreadful!

The hotel has a great location that was absolutely amazing. The rooms are a good size and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast for America.

There are only two things we didn't like that much.

Once the sometimes long wait for the elevator. Unfortunately there are only 3 pieces for 32 floors because it happened that you had to wait 10 minutes.

And the second was that the windows weren't really tight and cold air was constantly coming in.

We would recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

I had a package delivered to me with my name and room. The package got opened and lost some part of the package, they throw away the box and they didn't even allowed me to sign that I received the package which is strange. I also saw another guest arrived and it was raining, he have reserved and pay in advance the hotel but the hotel only discovered in that moment that it was full and would transfer to another hotel some blocks away

Really good hotel, which can score especially by its location. We had a room on the top floor (32nd floor), we also had to wait for one of the three elevators.
The rooms are well equipped and clean. You can choose whether the room should be cleaned or not. If you wish, a $ 5 cleaning fee will be charged. The towel exchange and the receipt of new toilet paper is free.
What bothered us, however, was the fact that the hotel is relatively noisy. We partly heard the traffic and much worse the elevator (and we were the farthest from the floor of this).
