Hampton Inn- JFK Review

Facility is immaculate. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Break fast is hot, diverse and plentiful.
Front desk staff amazing and helpful, housekeeping great and accommodating.
Parking on the premises is reasonably priced for JFK area.
Great place for family stay and connected to the Hilton if you are attending a conference there.
Highly Recommended!

What you want for a quick stay. The Hilton next door has dining choices.

Nice hotel, but not many close by food options. And I was sleeping in late, but bothered by heavy equipment pounding next door where Hilton is doing construction.

The room was pretty comfortable I was disappointed that the gym was closed other than that customer service was great they came to check when there was a problem and were pretty cool.

Price performance insufficient. Cleanliness could be better. Worn out furniture and inventory. Breakfast Hampton Inn basic. We have seen much better Hampton Inn Hotels.

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago, as we had an early flight the next morning. From top to bottom, arrival to departure, our stay was perfect.

The hotel itself is kept in excellent condition - the rooms are clean, the common areas are organized and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed.

We walked next door to the sister hotel (Hilton, connected thru an indoor walkway) and grabbed a bite to eat, which was actually amazing. Great burger.

The 5:30am shuttle was ready and waiting for us - and we arrived at our terminal with plenty of time to spare. All in all - excellent stay.

This review is long over due I was introduced to Hampton in about three years ago through my company and this hotel and their staff neveer everr seem to disappoint me. Every stay I enjoy I don't sleep with lights off but here it feels like home away from home so lights off! Hampton Inn JFK your staff are amazing! From the cleaners to the bus drivers to front desk to the kitchen staff I admire how hard working they are how committed to the company and how much they care about their guest. Special shout out to Derron, Mr.Elsie,Garfield those bus drivers neverr failed they kno what it means to carry special Cargo. From breakfast Trish, Ms.Clover thank you guys for always feeding me lol. Front desk Ashley, Wonda, the front desk lady that brought the butter up to my room at 11pm in the night that is remarkable I don't remember your name I was in room301. Miles always helping... and to all the staff there you make me so happy I really love the Hampton Inn and I recently stayed at Hilton RoseHall in Montego Bay Jamaica for my birthday and that was possible because of the Hampton Inn and my loyalty points I had the most amazing experience the service was incredible. I think the entire Hilton family is just amazing! Mr.Hilton raise their pay!

Clean, but dated Hampton Inn. Van to airport every half hour.

I went January 2nd. It was a zoo in there just to check in. Line was like 15 people long. Had to pay $26 to park in their lot or your car will get towed. There's an option to park on the street tho. Ice machines broke, so had to get ice at the lobby. So to many negatives. Only positive was rooms were nice, and cleaned. I WON'T BE GOING BACK.

The service is to be definitely improved.
The first room was not as we have ordered. We booked a king bed, but we're given two queen need instead.
This was quickly fixed though.
The second room had several little cockroaches running around the TV stand, as well as one little one was also found inside the bed. The bedding (the sheets on the mattress) was disgusting. Lots of unclean spots. So we have called for a Manager.
After manager came to our room and investigated, she confirmed and changed our room to another floor.
No problems was found after that. Really good room and clean bedding.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention. In that room the phone was completely dead! But it was no a big problem for me.

Complimentary breakfast was delicious and fun. Seeing so many pilots and flight crew at breakfast made it amazing for the kids The "koolest hotel ever" I heard.

Great comfy Hampton Inn beds. Rooms are small, but well furnished. The breakfast is pretty basic but does the job.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during a 1 day layover thru JFK. The hotel is clean, as you would expect from any Hilton group hotel. The all day airport shuttle is also convenient. There's not much to be impressed or disappointed by, but it is very convenient and close to JFK.

Staff very concerned and attentive to the customers. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Non alcoholic beverages and healthy snacks available anytime.

Rooms were Hilton standard, pretty spacious. The workout room is tiny so it can border on uncomfortable when more than 3 people are in there--only 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical. Breakfast had good options and open from 6-10, so that was a definite plus. There's not many restaurants around the area so be prepared to Lyft or Uber for food.

Clean hotel close to JFK Airport. Enjoyed my stay and the staff was very nice and helpful when trying to find food late at night. Room was clean and cool. Shuttle service was good but be aware that when flying in the the shuttle runs from Government Center not direct to any of the terminals.

Hotel was decently clean but has great breakfast. This would be a great hotel at the $75 price point, but for $189 it's crazy expensive!

Nice hotel for short layovers at JFK. Rooms were clean and decently sized. The sink bathroom sink was tiny however and made it hard to brush your teeth because the faucet covered half of the sink. There is also free breakfast which is always appreciated.

A nice surprise.
We checked in to this Hampton Inn May 23, 2016. The staff was pleasant the room was great. Clean lots of towels and above all great lighting. I was to apply my makeup in the bathroom mirror. I have traveled all over the U.S. and Europe. This was a first for me. The location was in a nice quiet area. We where able to walk next door to the Hilton and enjoy a wonderful steak dinner. Poor staff, giving out wrong info about how parking works as well as wrong info about how shuttle works. 2 out of 2 soda machines did not work. I stay in hotels 3 -5 nights per month and this one was way poor.

Nice people. Quiet room. Parking is an issue, lot is too small and the parking charge is excessive for the lack of security involved.

Rude staff. $100 deposit, which is ridiculous for such kind of place. A lot of additional fees. Also I noticed quite strong wall vibrations even living on 7th floor- perhaps there s subway line down below. So if you don t want a headache and/or your hands vibrating - stay away from that place. I personally never again.

Oh, almost forgot: strong weed smell in one of their elevators.

The shuttle pickup location was difficult to find. Room was fine.

Hotel has walls made of thin paper...heard everything until like 1am. Also, the faucet in the bathroom was like playing a game. Do you get hot water? Or cold water? Play and find out!

The internet is so slow it basically doesn't work. The hotel doesn't have a resteraunt itself, but the attached hotel does. The cost of a hamburger is 15.00 and same quality as applebees

I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn. I stayed on a Saturday night and enjoyed the very quick and easy check-in and check-out. The room is pretty spacious and the neighborhood seemed quiet. Staff was very helpful and the price wasn t too bad. I plan to stay here anytime I m in the area.

Excellent hotel with incredible location and shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back to the terminal. With a truck stop to visit the city and the hotel store they sell you the transport ticket. Everything was very simple to optimize connection time for another flight.

The Hampton Inn at JFK is not just another hotel. As a Hilton Honors member, and a road warrior, the staff is what makes this place special.
I was fortunate to have a 2 week stay at this location and could not have asked for a greater experience. Jocelyn, Shari, Ana, and Ivy, to you ladies I cannot say thank you enough for making this last 2 weeks very special .

To my fellow travelers, if you have to come to JFK, please look these ladies up and put your trust in their choices. They are the true assets of this organization.

The hotel is doing renovations. We were lucky to have gotten one of the updated rooms, which was very clean and nice. The issue I have is they charged me an additional $25 to park in the hotel parking lot upon check-in or find a spot on the street. It was in a crowded residential area with narrow streets. Good luck finding a spot!

Excellent hotel for those who need to spend a night in NY near the JFK airport. Suttle service to the airport is great. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful bed and bath. Very good general cleaning. I recommend.

Simple just to stay at night and go out to meet, there is coffee and drinks such as tea, water and cocoa in the free lobby, in front there is a bus that takes you to Jamaica Station.

Everything was great, apart from finding a hair which was not mine in bed.
