Attentive staff, spacious room, well equipped with kitchen and utensils, clean bathroom and bed. From Monday to Wednesday there is social hour from 5 to 7 pm with drinks and buffet at will, varying the theme every day. Great lodging close to Times Square, Broadway and outrls sights.

While the location of this place is good, it is a bit too run down and poorly run to compete with neighboring hotels. Just in our one room, we had missing seal on shower so it leaked on floor, sheets were too short for bed so feet were on bare mattress, and broken curtain rod so we could not open the shade. The elevators have not been updated to run floor intelligently, so frequently have to wait 15 minutes for an elevator with enough space to get on. And to top it off their choice of cleaning supplies smell like bathroom at gas station.

Great staff. Helped us out when our daughter who was staying out here for school decide she'd like to stay with us here the week too. Gave us a free upgrade to a two bed room. One side does view another hotel but the other side has a pretty good view. You can just see the tip of Times Square. Of course, this means Times Square is within walking distance as well as the port authority. Plus, full free breakfast and free guest laundry.

Nice rooms, good size and decor. Friendly staff all the time, willing to help you with anything. Very clean and neat. The breakfast Is ok. The only problem is the waiting time for the elevators, too much guests for only 3 elevators.

Great place to stay if your into the tourist time square thing. The elevators are incredibly slow and unless you want to walk 20 flights your going to be waiting as much as 15 minutes. Also the breakfast selection isn't great. Sadly no waffles. Pretty close to the subway but a good half a mile walk to the main time square subway station. All around a pretty good place to stay.

Don't stay here, they don't have enough elevators so it's pain in the ass on any regular day and when one of the three they have breaks like this weekend you will loose 2-3 hrs of your day and get frustrated...so not worth the money, spend your $300 per night somewhere else in the area

Hotel very well located, one step away from Time Square. Large room with view of the city. Breakfast copious but little varied (do not expect a buffet type Parador). Exasperating elevator problem. Before booking, check that it is fixed. They take weeks with the issue and it is unsettling ... If it were not for this problem, I would give it 4 stars.

Small but well kept rooms. I felt like it was very clean..especially the bedding was white, crisp, and it has a small efficiency kitchen..including an apartment size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove top, dishwasher...cabinets with utensils, plates, glasses pots. Close to Lincoln tunnel, fair walk to Times Square and Hells kitchen, perfect walk to enter the North part of High-line. Serving a nice breakfast buffet in 3 areas of hotel as well as a nice 5 pm selection of drinks and finger snacks. Enjoyed and would return.

I traveled to NYC for work (high season of work and should be in the office from 10am until 4am the next day, so for 10 days). I had a very bad experience with this hotel. First, the room was nice, big, comfortable bed, but it had a lot of dog smell. Which I thought was weird, until I saw a couple with a giant dog in the next room, and I realized that it is a pet friendly hotel (they allow pets). I have nothing against dogs, but they should have well-divided environments that allow pets and those that are free of pets (or at least noticeably improve cleaning, disinfect, clean the carpets). The smell of dog in my room was very strong. I had to wait for the elevator for at least 10 minutes, and I was lucky to be on one of the higher floors, because if I had been in middle floors, the elevator would have always been full. The normal buffet breakfast, at times grumpy. And what did fill my patience for 3 days in a row, after 18 hours of work every day, every time I arrived at the hotel at 4am and went up to my room I could not access it because the access card did not work. They made a lot of problems with the credit card and the authorization form. They debited from a card the total amount and nevertheless they kept almost $ 600 dollars of my credit card for 15 days, they did not respond to my phone calls or my emails. When I paid 2 hotel days I asked for an invoice and they told me that they could not give it to me until the end of my stay (but they did demand that I pay every day in advance). The day of the check out, I demanded the invoice of the rest of the stay and they denied it to me because the credit card with which I paid the stay was not in my name (authorization form sent twice and without answer by the hotel), I asked them to please send it by email to the card title, but they never sent the invoice. Many complaints without response. Bad attention mainly from a receptionist with unnatural blonde hair, I wish I knew the name. They did not replenish bathroom amenities. And it seemed very expensive (around 300 US dollars a night) for mediocre service. Definitely or I had bad luck, or this hotel is not worth it. It is well located, close to Time Square although a little dirty area. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I only spent about 6 hours in the hotel, however I was stressed getting there every night and there is a new problem every day. More stressful than all the hours I spent working. I had to stay in NYC for 3 more days, but I decided to take a risk and I did not extend my stay here. I checked out without having a reservation at another hotel. I did not want to continue paying so dearly for such bad service. I have stayed in many hotels and it is not possible that this hotel is 4 stars. Not recommendable.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a large selection for breakfast. The rooms were very dark and not very modern, but ok if you only sleep there. At the elevator you can already spend 5-10 minutes with the whole people and the many floors.

The hotel has a problem with the Spanish credit cards, we were in a very complicated situation and the hotel did not give us any solution, even though those same cards are valid in any New York business.

I have been comparing all week and value for money is perfect. We stayed my 2 children, my husband my father and I, in the double with city views. The very comfortable beds, the beautiful views, is two blocks from Times Square, Madison Square Garden, on the same street ten minutes east of the municipal library and 5th Avenue. Super friendly and helpful people, they speak Spanish, everything is super clean, which I appreciate. The room one of the most spacious I have seen in NY. The kitchen helps a lot and the micro and the vitro already ... The wifi works uninterruptedly perfectly. Breakfast very grateful because it is enough to start the day. The coffee is not bad at all. The happy hours in which it is served free of charge are also appreciated; Beers, wines, juices and a snack that varies with the day. Definitely a 10. I would definitely return. I definitely recommend it.

Having stayed at this hotel multiple times I really feel it is worth the 5 stars. Rooms are good, bathrooms are clean, staff are friendly. The hotel is kept clean, both the public areas and the rooms. Staff are all very friendly while remaining professional. Breakfast is included free of charge which is a good bonus. If it's not to your taste (as it is not to mine) then eat breakfast out. You're in NYC and spoiled for choice. The only drawback is the painfully slow lifts/elevators. There's a real problem here. One morning I waited 9 minutes with another guest. It felt like an eternity. Having said that, I keep going back. Just shows how good everything else is.

Location is the best. I really loved this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was pretty good. I like the social hour in the evening. Free wine and beer along with some food. We have stayed here a couple of times and look forward to staying again. You are literally down the street from Time Square. It's NY the food options just in the neighborhood are plenty.

Me and my boyfriend spent 2 nights 3 days there. The tv connection was horrible we called twice on the Monday for assistance and the Tuesday no one came up to help at all. The worst part of the stay was the night before my boyfriend woke up because of an itchy feeling on his leg he examine the bed and we notice bedbugs we told the people at the front desk they really didn't seem to care worst experience will never come here again !!!!

Not recommended for a family of 4 or higher. Cramped rooms make moving a little hard. TV's make entertainment easy, but that's the only thing. If you have a family of 1-2, might be okay, but I didn't like it very much, as I had a family of 4.

Spontaneously made a trip down to the city and booked a room here when we arrived. Great location just outside Times Square. The staff was amazingly friendly and professional! Very impressed with the room and the bed for the price we paid! Will most likely be staying here again during future visits!

This hotel is situated near the Bus Station and City centre. From Bus station is possible to take a ride to nearest cities or to the whole country (for example to Boston) If you want to go to the city centre, you walk from hotel only 3 minutes to 7av.

The rooms are well equipped. The kitchenette is a must and several small groceries are nearby. The hotel offers 5 @ 7 evenings with drinks and food included. The staff is very friendly. The variety of restaurant is abundant in this sector and it is very close to the centers of interest.

Everything was fine, but there wasn't any drinking water in the rooms, and an annoying alarm went off in our room that was set by the previous people staying there. But overall a good stay, very clean, and a good breakfast.

It is a comfortable hotel, but, like many others, it requires attention from the staff for more frequent maintenance of the infrastructure, between a guest's stay and another (from the bathroom drain to the power sockets on the desk, through the lamps and the lock) electronics), but with good standard amenities (in the kitchen and appliances). Great mattress, sheets, pillows and shower - good to watch.

The place is comfortable and clean, the size is small but for the location it is worth it, it is next to the subway and the bus station, you can go directly from one of the station doors and across the hotel, the bad thing is that when walking down the street there are many homeless people and people smoking marijuana, inside the hotel in the corridors and in the elevator the aroma of marijuana is also perceived at certain times.
Breakfast is included, because you are in the middle of the pandemic you have to speak beforehand to indicate which hot dish you need to prepare for you, downstairs there is bread, cereal, juice and coffee.

Convenient location and walkable for Times Square, Central Park, theaters. Desk staff were friendly and helpful, but had to call and request clean towels, coffee. Suites are very convenient for multiple days stay. Breakfast included was limited, but adequate.

Good hotel for a visit to NYC. Location is great. The room was not as clean as I'd expect it from my past experiences at other Staybridge locations. Breakfast is unexceptional, however I was positively surprised at the evening reception. Since the building is about 40 floors tall, it can take some time to go from one of the top floors to 1st with the elevator (depends on the number of stops). The hotel is next to the Port Authority bus terminal, so there are convenient options to go from/to the airports by bus (it took slightly longer than 1h to go to JFK with the Airporter bus). Would stay here again.

Poor and not very varied breakfast with few seats compared to customers. Slow and insufficient elevators for customers.
Rough cleaning.
However, excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Times Square and opposite the subway.

There are fewer elevators than the number of rooms, so it is not easy to take a ride when staying on the middle floor (^ ^;
In such a case, get on the boat once and get down to the boat with it (;> _ <;)

They clean the rooms when they feel like it. My room seems to be cleaned at the flip of a coin. The breakfast is terrible. Elevators are always extremely packed. Tiny reception, tiny lobby, tiny breakfast restaurant. If you are looking for a mediocre experience, look no further. Definitely nothing luxurious about this place.

DO NOT BE SUCKED IN!! They took my 1600 for 7 nights and told me after I pre-paid that I would only need to put $50 on my card upon arrival. Great right? Upon arrival I was told it was a $250 hold that I would get back 3-5 business days after check out. This is a scam. The room was filthy dirty with a strobe light the cramped bathroom. and to top it off the elevators don't work. Thank God we were on the 6th floor. I would NEVER stay at a Staybridge anywhere now. What poor customer service. The list of bad experiences here goes on and on. Just pay the small amount of extra and have a great experience in NYC. I work too hard for my money to be treated badly and lied to about prices. RUN THE OTHER way. There is a wonderful Doubletree next door. Go there!!!!!

Excellent, perfect for those who want to be close to everything with a great cost / benefit. Nearby you have everything. Subway right around the corner and just a few blocks from trendy Times Square. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, including a microwave, cooktop stove and refrigerator. The beds are divine! The cafe is always full, but it fits like a glove, being a courtesy of the hotel. The only cons is the delay in the elevators and the capacity. There is no exclusive for employees and you also have to share them, but this is nothing in relation to the benefits you will have when staying.
