Holiday Inn JFK Review

Fantastic experience! The customer service at the front desk with Tameka was EXCELLENT! She was incredibly friendly and helpful. we were able to check into our hotel room early, the room was clean and comfortable and the airport shuttle ran constantly making the commute very convenient. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful restaurant Bartender was very welcoming, Tamika was very nice and made my trip way more relaxing. I highly recommend

Ladies at the bar even though it's late are awesome. Had a burger and was pleasantly surprised. The fries were amazing and the burger was really tasty I'd stay here again . Room is small but plenty for a night before a flight. Decent upgrades to facilities .

The restuarant was the best part of this place, excellent food and our server Karina was amazing. However the room was too small, the carpet was stained and there was nothing nice enough to steal ):

The rooms were spacious, clean, and seem newly renovated. The staff was extremely nice as well.

After spending several nights in hotels of questionable quality, it was a breath of fresh air to step into the room at this Holiday Inn. Everything was so clean. All the amenities were high quality. It was really wonderful, and great since we weren't there by choice! Our flight got delayed 12 hours and the airline sent us here. The high quality was helpful to relieve some of our stress

Apart from a leaky toilet, the stay here made our flight cancellation so much better, amazing nights sleep after stress and the staff were very helpful

One of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed at. Barely slept a wink between the traffic outside, the ice maker down the hall, and let's not forget karaoke night in the hotel bar, which is on the same floor as guest rooms. Truly awful.

Rooms are clean and the location is stellar. I'm not a fan of the cleaning crew pounding on my door before check out and then just being loud in the hallway.

The room is clean and service is decent. About a 15 min shuttle ride from the airport, and the shuttle service is very punctual and professional

I got stuck in JFK due to an airline error and they placed me here. Reception was very nice and helpful. The room though small has everything one needs and was overall pretty clean.
The food, I had vouches, wasn t great. For dinner I had a $35 voucher and ended up having a choice of one vegetarian option which was a burger. So I got a microwave burger, fries and a soft drink...that does not equivalent. Breakfast I had $15 voucher and ended up with pancakes, potatoes (i ask for since the meat option was out for me) and a small glass of OJ. The taste of both meals was equivalent to McDonalds. On the positive side the staff was very nice.
I also did my laundry. When I went to the downstairs area it smelled strange and a as I was waiting on the dryer I had one of the residents of the floor inform me that we could hook up and what an opertunity it would be for me. If I had known that there were residents and I would be propositioned I wouldn t have done me laundry.

Rooms have been upgraded. Service is very nice and professional.

The staff here is very pleasant and welcoming. Starting from the shuttle driver to the check-in representative I encountered at almost 2:00 am on July 21st, 2017. The hotel is clean and presentable. Breakfast provided is real food, not just some fruit bars, like most hotels provide. Plus, the breakfast hours are great, 6:30 am till 11:00 am, so that you don't have to rush out of your bed in fear of missing the hours, as most other hotels end fairly earlier.

Hotel was clean, no problems there. But the restaurant?? Don't go there at 10pm unless you want to wait OVER AN HOUR for your APPETIZER....yep, an appetizer. They said "sorry, we're really busy.".....you had 3 parties in the dining area. Not 30. We ordered chicken tenders and coconut shrimp. Glad we didn't order a meal or we would have waited until 5am! Seriously, fire the whole night kitchen staff...or at least light a fire under their you-know-where to get them moving. People were getting up to grab their own drinks because the staff wasn't bringing them.

Hotel is nice but the grounds need some work. The tree and shrubs are over grown that it make it look that management is not keeping the property up Landscaping is need ASAP!!!!

Burger is great, but parking sucks, staff is great but, time was short

& CLEAN. HOWEVER THE EVENING FRONT DESK WAS HORRIBLE THEY KEPT CHARGING THE WRONG CARD.
THEY CHARGE AT 3:00PM IF YOU HAVE NOT CHECKED IN !!!
BUT I WAS TOLD THEY CHARGE WHEN I GET THERE.

MY BANK ALERTED ME OF THE SEVERAL CHARGES BACK TO BACK THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FRAUD

THIS KEPT ME UP ALL NIGHT I DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP

BREAKFAST WAS GOOD THE NEXT MORNING JUST A LITTLE. SLOW

I've stayed in most of the hotels in the JFK area and I consider this one of the best hotel options in the Jamaica area. Rooms are very clean and modern with DirectTV, fast WiFi and comfortable beds. There is a free shuttle to and from JFK evey half hour. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good.

The place really shocked me for how. Nice it is for a Holiday Inn. Rooms are super clean, modern, all amenities you need. Restaurant have very good food. Best of all is how accommodating the staff are. Definitely will be back.

it is a shame that trump has turned the most important nation of the globe first into a very expensive destination and secondly a beautiful country in a place that inspires a terrible fear

Conveniently located near shops, food and airport. The staff was professional and attentive. The room we stayed was clean and nice.

Clean rooms the only thing that there is no fridge or microwave

Location was pretty close to airport with parking, room very clean and comfortable checking in a breeze no other contact with staff. Food was close by and available for room service.

We had received a voucher from the airport, and the staff was so helpful and welcoming. The rooms were gorgeous, and the restaurant was small and a bit expensive for a Holiday Inn, but charming and convenient.

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows deliciously comfortable....but it was noisy, I could hear every door opening on the floor, a garbage truck (or other large truck) at 3am. It's a very convenient location if you have a flight out of JFK and the shuttle driver was was friendly. Overall good experience just a bit tired this morning.

Veey nice hotel for a "airport hotel". About 5-10 min from jfk in traffic.

They do not keep water in the room and they set a price online and it is not what one really pays

Shame on y'all for cutting the water off in the morning when people need it most. Horrible service and location. And I hear people being beaten and robbed in the area and in the hotel itself almost everyday.

Didn't spend a lot of time there. Nice, albeit small room, restaurant inside hotel was good. The bartender Ariel was accommodating, despite the fact that we pretty much showed up at closing. Shuttle outside of hotel got us to the airport in time for our flight.

I had a 13 hour stopover so booked in for a few hours of sleep. It was great, lovely comfortable room. Ordered buffalo wings and chicken quesadillas from the restaurant to take up to my room. Hands down the best quesadillas I've ever had!

The room was a little small but very clean. I had booked for 2 adults double beds but got 1 king bed and was told I would pay an upcharge for the change so I just took the king size room but I feel like he just didn't want to accommodate.

First of all, we entered to have lunch for we were too early to check in. However,we were offered a room immediately, settled in then had a most delicious meal. The whole experience exceeded expectations

Convenient to the airport with a helpful shuttle. Rooms are clean and adequate. Beds not so comfortable. Noisy.

It is good to be PERTINHO FROM THE AIRPORT and to stretch the column and rest one night is very good ..... and the price is reasonable ONLY FOR THAT END!

The 3 stars is for the nice and clean room. The staff on the other hand are slow and very unprofessional. If they are tired of working, they should quit and give opportunity to those who want to work.

Clean rooms. There was a little insect in the bathtub, hopefully not a harmful one.
The view is not anything fancy, but it's pleasant.
