We attended the sunset Luau on June 30 2016. Did was good and refreshment was plenty. The best was the Luau show itself. Loved the dancers and their colourful costumes. It was a bit rushed but we still enjoyed it fully.

My family stayed here for our 10 day trip to Maui. The room was clean and spacious enough for 4. The view from our room was gorgeous- we overlooked the gardens and the ocean. The gardens were beautifully kept and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with my morning coffee! The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and very helpful with our needs. Phillip, Aaron, Tamara and all of the pool staff were so friendly and helpful! They really helped us when our daughter got sunburned. They gave us a sample of the best lotion that really healed her FAST! The food at all of the restaurants was great and each one had its own flavors so you really had quite a few choices. We all loved relaxing in the pool and playing in the ocean which was a short walk away. All in all we were very impressed with our stay here and would love to return someday soon!

My favourite hotel in Kaanapali! With the beach right out front and the Black Rock torch show every night, it s an amazing experience.

Staff are very friendly and open to requests. Will stay again.

Horrible communication and service. Do not have your wedding here if you do not live on the island. Its 4 months till my wedding and my coordinator Diane has not called me once (even though I have made several attempts to set up calles with her) and has not booked any of my vendors. All I get are excuses on why she is busy or how she was on vacation from her boss. This experience has given me nothing but anxiety and anger. Do yourself a favor and do not have your wedding here. I wish I could just get my money back.

Room on floor level, bugs everywhere and NO I didn't leave the door open, but if only there were screens on them, I could have!
Also...LEARN FROM MARRIOTT! AND NO I DON'T WORK FOR THEM! A cup for soft drinks that's refillable, costs you VERY little but more importantly, your guests get something.
Never felt special, more like a huge burden. First room, we moved from a suite into a tiny room, had a microwave, so I requested one in New room. They wanted to charge $35/day?!! I moved, packed, unpacked, packed again, unpacked...omg, really?! Also, for the honor, I was comped a drink ON day of arrival ONLY. Lol. Only noticed it said that 2 days into stay.
Cabanas by pool... lazy teenagers. Why don't they remove previous guests name? Cover chairs with a towel? Or 2? Marriott does! They also gift you 2 bottles of water AND a box of cookies! Sheraton? 0. Nada.
I do have a degree in hotel management, and I've worked for both companies in my youth.
Retiring at Marriott resorts. Sheraton? Never again.
Really disappointed after 2 yrs ago, stayed at Sheraton Kauai, great experience. This year? A miss.

For the most part we had a nice stay at the Sheraton. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool and beach were amazing. The food at the Cliff Dive wasn't the greatest. Loved the smoothies there, but not crazy about the food. You have to pay for parking at the hotel which I don't agree with. The biggest complaint we had about the Sheraton was the noise coming from the other rooms. You could hear people moving things around and shutting the closet door. When someone would shower it was like someone was trying to drill right through our wall. It was a very loud and annoying noise when you're trying to sleep at 7:00 AM. There has to be something wrong with the water pipes. The hotel rooms could be a little updated, but our biggest complaint was the noise.

Great beach, good snorkeling, sea turtle frequents the area directly accessible from hotel. Rooms are pretty good, but carpet is worn and dated. Pools range from kids wading pool to 8', but waterfalls attract people who constantly climb up and jump off them, so not quiet or as toddler friendly as I had hoped.

Strike is over but still impacting experience. 1/2 of bars and restaurants closed. Others running on limited hours. A lot of broken stuff now being repaired. Super disappointed. Walked down to Hyatt, everything open and vibrant. Staff saying strike isn't a thing anymore feels disengenuous.

We booked a double room but they only had twin rooms available. So surprise surprise they said we could upgrade to an Ocean View King room at a cost or wait for a room to become available I asked when that would be oh not sure you will have to check daily. We were only staying 3 days LOAD O PISH if you ask me but as this was once in a lifetime we did upgrade 3 nights $200 annoyed but oh my god best $200 ever spent lovely big room king bed but best of all was the view was STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING

Beach was alright. Parking was a nightmare to find. The snorkeling shack to rent from on property was the absolute rudest people we were in contact on the island, by far. We went to Boss Frogs 2 days later to rent new snorkeling equipment and Kai was amazing.

I would have given 1 star but due to location the hotel is in, I couldn t just give one star only. The pros- the location is really nice, very convenient area with downtown Lahaina being only minutes away. Cons- the hotel itself, we stayed here in 2017 and had an awesome experience. We upgraded our room to the ocean front room it was located really close to the beach. When we booked this time we booked, ocean view not realizing all the technicalities of each room. We walked down to our room which was on the ground floor, the key didn t work. After a day of travel, you re a little exhausted and just want to relax for a second, but we had to trek our way back up to the front desk, to get another key, we head back down we get into the room and start to unpack and a roach comes running out of the closet. My husband immediately called the front desk and they switched our room to I guess what is considered ocean front it s on the other side of the hotel, it takes forever to get to the pool or beach which is a little annoying. We haven t checked out yet but I keep seeing these $100 charges to my credit card and I m hoping they are charging us for the relocation for the roaches being in our initial room. Also if you booked recently you may want to call, apparently they are doing construction to the hotel, which is pretty loud when sitting at the Clive Dive bar or the beach. We had breakfast here one day and that wasn t even that great for the $100 we paid, which is such a bummer as I love this area but highly doubt that we ll be back to this Sheraton location.

Was on our Honeymoon and this place was a beautiful place to stay, snorkeling, cliff diving off black rock, Laua was fabulous. My two complaints and warnings, do not eat breakfast at all at the hotel, $60 for two and it wasn't that good. And the pool closes way to early, 8pm is ridiculous! !!!

Very beautiful stay. Grounds are amazing and well kept. Could use a few more chairs around pool. Also parking is additional and wasn't disclosed until check in. Gives you the island feel and relaxation. Staff is super helpful. Highly recommended.

What a nightmare. The check in process took over an hour, by which time the initial room we were going to be given had been given to someone else. We were forced to settle for a worse room. We were given no information regarding the hotel's facilities (buses, internet usage, gym usage, etc), and later found out we were being charged over $30 a day for such facilities which we DID NOT USE. Staff generally ignored us and were not helpful - I sat in the link@sheraton on my laptop for over 2 hours without so much as a glance from any waitresses while other around me were offered food and beverage menus.

I will never be returning here and will likely avoid all Sheraton resorts from now on. This has been, by far, the worst holidaying experience I've ever had.

We've been coming to the Sheraton Maui for 20+ years. It's been our go-to resort on Kaanapali Beach. Being on the north end of the beach, it's got a quieter and more peaceful vibe than some of the flashier resorts further down the boardwalk. The service is great, often outstanding, and the recently remodeled rooms are very well designed and comfortable. There are many different room options here to choose from. Now that all of the beautiful room remodels are complete, I hope the resort owners will continue to invest in the pool, landscaping, public areas. One other area for improvement is our last two rooms while upgraded have had pretty old and tired mattresses. A great bed is the foundation of a great room. Overall the Sheraton Maui delivers a consistently great guest experience. We've grown up with a lot of the staff here, many who have been here 20+ years. Mahalo for the great service!

Didn't stay here wish I had. The Teppanyaki place is a lot of fun and definitely worth stopping at. Maybe one of the last hotels on the strip you get less foot traffic the pools look nice and the staff seem lovely.

We are having an amazing time at this resort. Beautiful beach for swimming and snorkeling!
Wonderful maid service, great food, and the views are the best! We're staying at the cliff section with Black Rock in view.

We had a wonderful time at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Our room was very clean and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We love the location situated directly next to Black Rock and the grounds were immaculate. The only complaint that we have is that there were no elevators. The place was huge and took a lot of time to get around it all, so the elevator situation seemed to make a big impact on us. A younger me of 10 years ago would have handled it much better. We would definitely stay there again

Sheraton Maui Beach Resort was one of the worst ex...

Sheraton Maui Beach Resort was one of the worst experiences that we have ever had with a hotel stay. We had changed our room classification well in advance and I had pre-paid the resort fee and the upgrade fee for our 4 night stay (4/7/18 - 4/11/18) . The only thing we had that needed to be paid was the daily parking fee. Upon checking in they still showed us in the previous room classification instead of the upgraded room. The girl at the front desk could not find anything in the computer and when she did she was trying to tell me that we needed to pay the upgrade and resort fees until I went out to our car and got the receipt that had been emailed to me when I called in and pre-paid the fees. Then because of their error in not updating the reservation she had to search for a room and finally found one after a few minutes. Not a real pleasurable start to a stay.

Next, after checking in, getting settled into our room and relaxing a bit we decided to go down and try one of the restaurants onsite but on the way down my wife had suggested just getting room service but I said I had checked online and the restaurants looked really nice. So we continued on, As we arrived in the area of the restaurants we first looked in one and saw no where to check in, went back out and saw a man standing at a podium with a small sign that said "Hostess" with no other signage stating this is where you check-in for the restaurants. We asked about the one we had looked in and was told it was reservation only but my wife didn't want the kind of food they served and was not told that we had to check-in there for the other restaurant as well. We walked away from there, thinking it was just the check-in for the other restaurant, towards the other restaurant in plain sight of the "gentleman" at the "Hostess" podium. We walked up the ramp and started looking for the check-in for that restaurant. Not finding anything we stopped one of the employees and he told us there were menus down below and when I did not immediately see it he pointed to a bench with menus strewn over it. We walked down looked the menu over quickly and being right across from the "man" at the "Hostess" podium where we needed to check-in for the 2nd restaurant at which time I received a very smartallic remark of, "I know our sign is rather small" as he pointed to the sign at his podium that said only "HOSTESS". At which time I told him he was being quite a smartass and I did not appreciate that which his response was just to laugh. We finally did get seated in the 2nd restaurant but let me state there was no other signs ANYWHERE stating to check-in at the HOSTESS podium. We decided then and there that we would not be eating at the restaurants the rest of our stay.

The Bell service and the room service was the best part of the service personnel at this hotel. The one issue with the housekeeping staff was trying to figure out their schedule because they came at a different time each day. Other than that they did a very good job of keeping the room clean.

The location was fantastic but with the weather being extremely rainy you would expect the staff to be falling over themselves to make every part of the customers stay as pleasurable as possible. When the rain did give way to partly cloudy skies the view from our room was fantastic with the ocean, Molokai and Lanai as well as a few smaller islands visible from our balcony.

Last but not least, CHECK-OUT. On the morning of our check-out, I went to the front desk expecting to be billed for the parking fees. I hand the lady our key cards and towel cards and she informs me that we owe $300+ and I ask for what because we should only be being charged for the parking. She starts quoting the resort fee, the upgrade fee and I again had to return to our car, get the receipt emailed to me when I PRE-PAID those fees. The lady still had trouble finding g it in the computer but finally did find it and removed those charges.

So, to say our experience was lackluster would truly be an overstatement.

If I could give a 0 star I would, worst management, terrible costumer service and they stole my wedding ring from the safe. I am extremely disappointed and furious.

The carpet in the rooms is disgusting, the hotel is extremely outdated, food is overpriced and awful, no Aloha spirit, no enthusiasm and beach was dirty.
The hotel should be considered a 2 star and no more than $99 a night.

Wonderful resort. Staff are extremely courteous. Location is wonderful, and pictures do not do it justice. About 45-60 minute drive from the airport. Parking is a bit steep, but there really isn't much you would need to leave the resort for other than sightseeing.

The property is pretty. The room was clean. The staff did not go out of their way to help with our special requests to help with dining reservations or a late check out so we could take advantage of the spa. We paid extra for an upgraded room and they put us in their furthest building away from the main building. It's nice here, but we won't come back to this property. Quite honestly, this resort is rather boring.

Not bad so far, had a room issue which was resolved the next day but still very inconvenient. Staff is nice, property is pretty clean and gorgeous. We opted for the oceanfront room, and as you can see, the view is great. Pretty quiet, not too many kids, and the drinks have been good. Haven't dined at any restaurants yet on the property and we got in late, so to our dismay we had no room service or food so we had to Uber to a small bar. Overall, so far, it's been a good experience

A bit run down. Would not say this place lives up to the Sheraton brand image. A good place to come of you have kids and are not worried about everything being perfect. Good beach access and pool area.

Paid for ocean view room but I think I was put in a partial ocean view my first night as when I complained I was moved to the "normal ocean view section" which was far superior view and consistent with online images. Robes mentioned online do not exist. The free Hawaiian tote is a basic grocery tote with nothing remotely Hawaiian about it. Basically all the features online they promote as "free" with the resort fee have strings attached. While the resort is pretty the rooms are not as nice as I would expect for the price . I would not stay here again.

Rooms are nice, good (but pricey) breakfast buffet. Food options during lunch are terrible. Limited pool chairs, very small beach. Overall similar (not better, not worse) than comparable competition.

The views are awesome and the water is calm. Snorkeling in the Black Rock water is very cool. The are a couple of sea turtles swimming around and a lot of beautiful fish. The food here is nothing special, but fine. You are walking distance to other shops and food. The spa is very relaxing, I would highly recommend it.

Dropped by the cliff dive grill for a quick snack while on the beach. Friendly staff, quick service. The food itself was okay. Ordered some nachos which had a lot of toppings, but the flavor was mediocre. The POG juice was amazing. Get it.

4 nights and 5 days with ocean view.
Amenity is Aveda

The view from the room was good, and the bed was very comfortable and very nice.
Anyway, it was a large hotel.

The pool was very large and it was a hotel where you could spend a relaxing time.

I left my card at the bar on a tab, went home and called the Shariton right away, after being directed to one person then another I finally got connected to a busy signal. I had to work out in Hana from Monday till Friday mean while the whole time I was out there I was trying to get in touch with someone to find my card, they said they hadn't seen it. When I got back from Hana I looked and noticed that they charged my card for that night, of which I NEVER signed for because I had walked out on my tab accidentally, which I used to bartend so I know the steeps you're supposed to take when this sort of thing happens. You see it's not that you guys lost my card that pisses me off, or that you charged me without me signing it, it was the lack of accountability that YOU did in fact lose my card. I drove all the way down from my house in Haiku to Kaanapali spoke which 3 of your managers (one of which was unbelievably rude) and got no where. You guys looked for my card I'll give you that but when you didn't find it there was no accountability on your part. How about an "I'm sorry we lost your card" ?

I checked in and pizza. While I put it on the table for a while, the ants were out of the room, and I almost slid from the bathtub to the shower. My third honeymoon in Maui was the only hotel I thought was a waste of money. If you are traveling with a family or a new family, I recommend you to go somewhere else.

The complimentary shuttle service was sub-standard, only stops at a few places and it was never on time. We had to wait 2 hours for the shuttle that should come around every 20 minutes. You ll end up paying a lot for taxi or you are better off taking Lyft. But for the a high end hotel I wouldn t recommend it.
