I don t normally write reviews, but I needed to. I am happy with the work of the HVAC personnel. I did have issues with the the office not calling me when they decided to cancel due to weather. Of which, I stayed at the house waiting for them until after the service call time I scheduled. I get weather is uncontrollable, but on the day they canceled morning service due to weather before 8 o clock the rain had already stopped for about an hour and didn t start again until 3 pm. Called the office at 1 pm and said they had called and canceled all morning appointments. I had to inform them they had not called me. I was not happy at this point they told me I would be next. A few hours later at 3 pm they called and canceled (3rd time). Again I get weather was an issue but dilute to the lack of communication I wasted a third day off with no service call. When they called me I told them I need to be first in line!
I was called at roughly 7:45 am, I was already up and ready to go. They showed up and got the work done. All I ask is communicate with the customer and after rescheduling twice put that customer first no matter what because our time is important too! I will say the service people do excellent work and explain problems when they need to fix.

I bought my new construction home and bought a five-year service contract with ServiceOne. I never thought that a home with everything brand new would need an appliance repaired, but I was paying for peace of mind (I am a single mother with two teenagers, so I can't afford for anything to go wrong)! Well, needless to say, I woke up one morning and my central air/heat pump would not work. I called ServiceOne and within two hours (you can't even get into the doctor that quickly!) they sent Jesse S. to my home find out what was wrong with it and repair it. Jesse S. was friendly, professional, and efficient! A $428.00 repair cost me my deductible $80.25 ($75.00 deductible plus tax) and I'm back in business! Thank you Jesse S. and ServiceOne for standing by the product that you sell! I'll never be without ServiceOne in the future... one repair pays for the entire year!

Craig E. with Service One was awesome! He had the broken latch fixed on our dishwasher in no time. He shared some inside advice on appliances such as what brands to buy and what brands to avoid. He was friendly and efficient. Our experiences with Service One overall have been great and definitely recommend their services! Thank you!

Thought I'd give ServiceOne a try because of the great reviews. Brittany was so nice and helpful setting me up for an appt when our heater stopped working correctly and informed me of monthly plans for repairs that will save us lots of money in the future. Our technician, Cliff called before coming over and found the problem right away. He is so genuinely nice and knowledgeable. He taught us things to look for and gave us advice on monthly plans as well. We signed up right away. SO grateful for Cliff G and ServiceOne. Wish we would've known about them sooner!!

I have contracted with Service One for 30+year and never been more upset than currently. They came out to service my dryer and did a great job however at the same time I had them check the agitation in my washing machine. They replaced the agitator but indicated the transmission of the unit was going out and due to the age could not be repaired and I would need to purchase a new on. I specifically asked if it would still work and they indicated a little better than it had but would ultimately need to be replaced. The second load of laundry I did in the machine resulted in the agitator flying out of the machine with enough force to open the lid and land on the floor. Clearly they had not appropriately attached. This could have seriously hurt someone! I called today to have them come out and fixed what in my opinion was their fault and was told they would not as machine was condemned and would no longer be serviced by them. I have paid for my "Gold" plan faithfully for 30+ years. They should not be able to pick and choose what they deem can be fixed without coming out to access. I only want them to come back and fix what they did in error. This looks like it would only take someone who knows what they are doing 10 minutes to reassemble and attach correctly. I would no longer recommend them to anyone. As soon as I can identify a service to replace them I will. I am open to anyone's recommendations.

I find Alan a very friendly knowledgeable HVAC technician. Does a thorough job and does not cut corners.

I have a very complicated thermostat that no one knows how to adjust the humidity control. Alan from Service One did an awesome job, he was able to look up the user guide and reset the thermostat, he even helped me to record a short video for the procedures to adjust the thermostat in the future. We were having issues with our heat pump and Alan D is the person who came out to our house. Ryan from Serviceone was by today to perform the annual furnace inspection. Ryan was very professional and courteous. We have used Serviceone many times and always find the techs to be a pleasure to deal with . We have had a service contract for many years now and have never been disappointed in the service we receive . They are well worth the money.

I received excellent service from Chris. My kitchen sink was clogged and he got the drain cleared out as well as tightened all the fittings. He did a great job.

Cliff came and was courteous and helpful. He was quick and got things done in a timely manner. He has come to my house more than once and always gets the job done quickly and with the same level of good customer service.

Contacted Service One about A/C not working & they got me in the same day!! Thank goodness because it was a sauna in my house. The technician that came out was ALAN D he was professional & friendly! Explained everything he did on the service call, answered all my questions & gave me some helpful tips regarding my A/C unit. He even took time out to pay attention to my pets.

If you are looking for a company to get a home warranty, I would recommend you look elsewhere. We have had a warranty for many years and it has gone from providing service within a day or two to taking two to three days to get a tech to come out. Seems like they have too many customers to provide the expected level of service with the staff they have. It's really no longer One Simple Solution.

Customer Service at its best. I have used ServiceOne for both Commercial and Residential repairs. Both calls they arrived that day, when they said they would, and were able to resolve the issue that same day. Bette is the most helpful person I might have ever interacted with, she helped with the Commercial repair. Bob, was my Residential repairman who did his job just as he said he would. I couldn't be happier with their services.

ServiceOne has always done great work. In our last call, Kevin M had our plumbing fixed in under an hour, and was courteous and explained everything as he went.

I'm not sure why I pay this company. Every time I call for something to be serviced, they say it's not covered or condemned. I'm so frustrated. For all the money I've paid over the time I've had ServiceOne, I could certainly afford to have someone else fix things. Almost wish I just had my money back.

They are amazing. They are very efficient, staff and technicians are kind and courteous.

I called ServiceOne to come out to unclog a sink drain. The appointment was scheduled timely. Prior to our appointment, the technician communicated when he would arrive and checked that I was home. Upon arriving, Chris followed all of the COVID protocols and respected our property. Chris worked quickly to fix the issue and cleaned up after the work was completed. He provided helpful tips and a product to avoid the issue going forward. We have been using ServiceOne since 2011 and will continue.

Chris was friendly and efficient. The problem was fixed.

We have had them out 5 times to fix our dish washer today I was told it was fixed tried to use it and still dosent work right haven't had a dishwasher in 2 months horrible service do not use the home warranty it is worthless

This rating is for the work performed by Alan D at Service One. I have been fortunate enough to have Alan D as a technician to troubleshoot several of my A/C issues. He always performs a thorough inspection of my equipment, inside and outside of the house. If there is an issue, he finds it and fixes it the first time. He always provides a detailed explanation of the problem and fix. He is always pleasant. I am always thankful when Alan D is the technician that is sent to repair my A/C issues. He is great representative of Service One.

My repair man was great, scheduling the appointment was a pain. They had to order a part for my dryer and when it came in I called to schedule them to come back out... they are short on appliance repair men and so it took another week to have them come back out to fix my dryer.

Superior service from my first phone call for service all the way through the perfectly installed water heater. Service One stands alone as the best service company in Omaha, Elkhorn, surrounding areas. Do not waste money on the pretenders. Service One rules!

My furnace is less than 12 months old, and it had stopped generating heat for the past four days. I contacted the installer and he informed me that he was out of town. Therefore, he sent someone else in his place. After several hours, the service provider could not figure out what was wrong and he stated: "he would need to order a part and come back on Monday." On Monday, the service provider showed up late, ran another test and informed me that he needed to order two parts instead of one. Also, he would need to come back on Tuesday. Since the service provider never called or showed up on Tuesday, I scheduled an appointment with Service One. Within 2 hours, Cliff G called and advised he was on his way over. After arriving, Cliff G figured out what was wrong and repaired the unit within 20 minutes. Way to Go Cliff G and Service One for hiring an employee who knows exactly what he is doing. Thanks!

I have been a customer for a very long time, and have my share of good calls and poor calls. But, I have never been, literally, left in the cold on an emergency call for furnace out.
Other than the tech arrived in a relatively short time, this would rate a zero!
Service call placed about 1:30pm on Saturday. Tech responded within 10-15 minutes and arrived shortly after. I will admit the space around the furnace was filthy and floor was damp...
After about 10 minutes unscrewing a few screws he says he has 2 bad news. Not sure the order, but, he saw a "roach" or bug on the floor and that the furnace was "out of maintenance" and would cost about $400 dollars to swap out the blower motor. Wow!
The tech is packing up to leave and says he will not do the repair because of the "roach"! as well as the reason the furnace is "out of maintenance" because it hasn't been serviced in 5 years. What??? were did this come from? I am on auto-payment, so for 5 years and north of $2000 I can't service without additional parts and labor? Give me a break!!! At this point I ask if he has the part to fix the furnace, which he affirms, but he is still leaving. He keeps apologizing and says he is following policy. I have had it with this tech, there is no use talking to him. I requested that he put things back together and he does. and leaves.
At this point, I am completely upset and while I call Burton HVAC, my brother cleans up all around the furnace. Beside some dead waterbugs there aren't any live bugs we can see....
So, the call to Burton was $190 with a price tag of $800+ to replace the blower motor! The furnace sales guy comes over and it's going to cost $5500 for a new furnace... Wow !!!

Sunday morning, and 4 inches of snow, I place another emergency service call about 8:30am and explain the situation to the dispatcher. I get a call back from the Tech about 10 minutes later, and after explaining there "should" be some case notes, he is on the way.

Well, long story short, 2 hours later and one new blower motor, the furnace is running great! ONE part!!! I ask about the charge and the Tech asks if I am a customer and he charges me for the trip, $26.75... I watched the entire repair, there was nothing complicated, just some elbow grease to pull things apart.... and reassembly was quick.

The first Tech cost me time, lots of frustration and $190!
I told the second Tech he should be in the picture on the back of the van!

Cliff was the greatest. He came over diagnosed the problem and gave us OPTIONS!. Thanks Cliff I wish ALL service people could be so straight forward and professional.

Mike dropped by and completed a thorough inspection of my furnace. He was professional and very courteous. Thank you!

Alan contacted us and let us know when he would arrive to fix our furnace. He quickly changed out the defective part and tested the system. Before long we had heat again. A true professional.

The tech did a professional job. He fixed my problem quickly.. he also gave me some good advice on how to prevent clogging the pipes going forth from today.

I scheduled a service call with ServiceOne, and things couldn't have gone any better! I received the reminder call the day before, just as promised. Also I did receive a call 20 minutes prior to the service call from Gary, Just as promised.
Gary arrived, introduced himself, then proceeded to the laundry room in the basement. It took him just minutes to find the problem. This fellow is an expert in his job! He did things to my dryer above and beyond what I had expected.
Your company has quite an asset in this individual.
