DO not come here if your just depressed you ll get screw over and over charged for a simple urine sample DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU GOT MONEY to waste

My wife had surgery today at RMH. The whole time from our home to hospital and back including surgery was 4 hr and 5 min. Everything went like clockwork. The nurses, doctors and volunteers were efficient, helpful, polite, and went out of their way to explain everything. It was earier to check in that some hotels where i have stayed. Kudos to RMH.

phone menu system does not recognize some types of phones. despite complaining about this repeatedly and hearing that others had complained about this as well, no one ever tried to communicate with me or fix the problem

Go to RMH at your own risk. If a hospital has under a 4 star rating, do you really want to take the risk of having a 2 star experience when you or your loved one is severely injured.
I would rather die than be helped here; although if you took me here I m sure they would not help me if I were dying.
How do I know this? Multiple visits where I have been with people who could ve been internally bleeding and yet they were accepting crackheads over the actually ill. Multiple individuals conditions have become severely worse due to the lack of attention, treatment, or care from these individuals. They aren t here to help you, they re here to take your money - therefore the government funded health care abusers WILL get seen first. Until they lose the Sentara name in front of RMH, take the extra couple of minutes and drive to UVA; a teaching hospital where they genuinely care about the education of patients on issues and care about resolving those issues in the order of severity and urgency. I hate to say it, but this is only matter of fact, and fact is they re more than sub par.

We have to say that Christina, an aide on the 3rd floor, is very kind and thoughtful and offered wonderful care for my husband. Thank you so much Christina! The doctor was also very good. Hospital not enough beds and not enough nusres, so overworked! Not given enough time for quality care, not their fault.

I had my first child at RMH. My midwife was very respectful of my requests to have a natural birth and let me labor 12 hours without success. When my babies heart rate plummeted, the room was full of hospital staff in 30 seconds. Within 60 seconds they had delivered my son and avoided an emergency c-section. My family later told me that everyone in the room had a job to do and didn't hesitate at all to do them. The OR staff was even waiting in the hallway to take me to the OR if things got worse. The knowledgeable staff and doctors saved my sons life and probably mine as well. My family and I are very grateful for the hospital and its staff.

This hospital is almost in humane. The staff do try to help patients but the waiting time to see a doctor is greater than 5 hours! Organization here is severely lacking. Don t stop here unless you must.
When we got to see a doctor, things went much smoother. Nurses and doctors were very professional.

My 90 yr grandmother came in this morning 1/24/19 at 3-330am, she has pneumonia and the flu we are still sitting in the ER in a room after they told us 2hrs ago that they were going to take her up to her room for recovery,its 930am and still waiting. She asked for a couple of water 3hours ago and still no water. They dont seem to care if anyone else has a job to get too only that they have one. Busy or not dont be lying to the patients and their family that's waiting with them..totally disappointed with our local hospital..

Awful experience every time here. Family member cut finger wide open and waited over an hour for assistance. Recommend going to another ER for quick service. You ll be here forever at RMH.

They keep you for hours with no communication and no actual diagnosis. Sometimes you won't even see a doctor at all. They don't care to find out what is actually going on or how to fix it. I have never once had a positive experience with this hospital at this location or their old one. Go to UVA.

Hours, hours waiting. Is there only one medical professional on staff?

Nurses wouldn't return my page for over twenty minutes and the doctor had me discharged without giving me a second or any kind of reasoning. I left a poor review via the phone and a woman said that management would call me to speak about my experience and no one ever followed up. If you need emergency care, go somewhere else .

This place is a joke my grandfather is there and it's like they don't wanna help him at all . They just wanna do what ever gets him out of there hair .

They don t even have their own doctors. They contract their doctors from another company. I had to pay a huge co-pay just to sit in the ER and get another bill in the mail. Then I had to pay the other company for using the doctor they contracted. Save your money and go elsewhere and get better treatment. I will say that the staff checking me in was nice though. Other than that....there are better hospitals.

Nothing good to say about this hospital. The lady at the front desk said their average wait time is 4-5 hours for the EMERGENCY Room. I'm convinced they have one functioning doctor at this place. You're better off driving to New York and going to a hospital because it will probably take faster. Never come here, they'd rather watch you die than treat you.

My father in-law spent his last days here and the hospice team was very nice, patient and professional. They took care of our entire family while we said our goodbyes. Answered all our questions and allowed us to play Johnny Cash, Dad's favorite, softly in the background.

We were from out of state and had to go. We couldn't be happier with the staff and how clean the hospital was. We were also seem within 15 minutes of arriving at 7am on a Saturday. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Worse hospital ever! They are highly slow and they are NEVER right!

We were on vacation and I had a medical issue and went to the emergency room. Had to be admitted. Every person I had contact with was very professional and kind. I felt the care and attention I received was excellent.

ER staff suck. Front desk volunteers could learn some etiquette. Go to Augusta if you can stand the trip. Having severe health complications and they put me in waiting room. Triage said there's one ahead of me after a very long wait I asked any idea on time and they told me there's 10 ahead of me! I couldn't find a ride to Augusta and they wouldn't transport. Finally in a room in the main er and there's blood on the ground in here! I asked for nausea medicine and the nurse disappears for a half hour comes back and says let me check. Meanwhile several nurses and techs are talking about doughnuts being here for everyone and I said to stop talking about it. The nurse told me that "that's not likely to stop for a while" and shut the door. And here I am still waiting.

I had hip replacement there n was very impressed with my treatment..everyone was very caring and helpful..I was n there 4 3 days n my hubby stayed the whole time they were just as caring 4 him I live n waynesboro n would travel there b4 I would go to ours...

Stopped into the ER on Sunday night to get my knee stitched up after a gnarly mountain bike crash. My wait was reasonable and the entire staff was very friendly and professional.

It s been a 90 minuets since I drove into the ER!!! No One call my name YET!!!!

My boyfriend walked into sentara on June 23 and after they made several mistakes with him , they finally had him flown to uva , and by the time they finally decided to send him to uva it was too late and there he passed away at age 49 , I m telling anyone of you have illnesses do not go to this hospital because if you make it out alive you will be lucky

Came all the way from NYC just to get a lazy doctor and sarcastic nurse. Monkeys could do a better job!!

Update... unfortunately had to go back to RMH recently. My suggestion is if you can make it to UVA Go there instead!!!

Me and my mother had to wait 4 hr To see a doctor for another two hours so I total of six hours ridiculous do not recommend to go Here

I just want everyone to know this hospital and its staff was Amazing!! I started having issues while on an OTR truck driving adventure with my truck driving fiance. I was afraid to go for many reasons. One being the reviews on google. We pulled in, in an 18 wheeler and that was the start of an amazing staff! I wish I could have gotten each name so I could send a thank you card to those who tended to me. You see, I'm from Ga. The parking lot supervised seen us as he was leaving,he had just pulled his shift and was headed home. He helped us find parking and called another gentleman to pick us up on a golf cart. Walked into emergency, and their system is phenomenal!! From triage, ECG, x-ray, my nurses, Cat-Scan to my Dr were all amazing to me. Yes, it was a bit of a wait and a a patient representative came with warm blankets, passing them out to those of us in the lobby, but I'd rather have a long wait and attentive care givers over get you in get you out "care givers"
The Dr that seen me, even had all my test and lab results ready for me to bring back to Ga with me. I'd give them 10 stars!

The Best Hospital! Sentara has done an outstanding job in bringing great doctors and surgeons to Harrisonburg!

To put it nicely this is the most ridiculous hospital ever! The ER is like a circus they have the most screwed up policy. I suggest you go else where because this place is just a waste of time!

RMH used to be sooo good... It has definitely changed over the years for the worst. The old hospital the wait was minimal. The wait now is absolutely absurd especially when we have children that need to be seen. They take crack heads over children and elderly. The quality of care has just diminished. I remember 10 years ago when I had my son I had outstanding care while in the Birthing Wing.. This past year when I had my daughter I was ready to leave right after having my C-section. The level of care just isn't there. Would much rather go to UVA or Augusta Health!

It's like the doctors want to spend as little time as possible with patient. Had emergency surgery 3 times in a month and know as little now as I did the first time, the things the Urologists suggested I do so it wouldn't happen again only made my problem worse and happen faster, it's truly like they were guessing. Dr. Morra is an absolute quack imho who was more focused on what he wanted the cause to be as opposed to what it actually was. Hospital has a heavy emphasis on shoving pills down your throat and be prepared to wait ridiculous amounts of time and to be asked the same questions over, and over, and over, and over again. 60% of the nurses are great, truly shining examples of their field, the other 40 are the utter worst rude bottom of the barrel dregs, especially in the emergency room. If you need medical attention and aren't immediately dying, save yourself a large amount of trouble and go to UVA, Augusta medical, or Valley health in page county.

Disappointment says it all. When I arrived at the hospital, my first interaction with the nursing staff made me feel very unwelcome while I was feeling so poorly. I had to truly advocate for myself to get any service. I had been diagnosed with Covid and being a young adult I was scared and experiencing chest pains due to pneumonia. I was alone and nervous because I knew that how I was feeling was not normal. When I tried to talk the nursing staff and tell them what was wrong, I was talked over and immediately asked if I needed to see a psychologist. This was all happening while I was attempting to tell them that I was in extreme pain.

Later after when the doctor came to see me he gave me a paper prescription for some antibiotics then proceeded to tell me to take it to the local pharmacy to get it filled. Normally this would not upset me but in this instance I had been diagnosed with covid and I thought they where trying to limit the spread of the disease but not with their actions.

Sadly there are no other options to students at JMU. I just hope that by expressing my feelings they will begin to understand and listen to the public and change their protocol to provide better customer service and a more compassionate environment.

I went to RMH and I am never going back again even if I am dying! I went because I had not been able to hold down food or water all day and was severely dehydrated. When I first went in the where very nice and I went back into a room right away, but after that it was horrible! The doctor barely even examined me and dismissed me. The nurse talked to me in a baby voice, even though I am over 21 and politely asked her to treat me like an adult because I was treating her as an adult. They kept making me drink grape juice which just came right back up. Then nurse baby voice got an attitude because I kept throwing up the juice and yelling at me that I was dehydrated and I needed to keep it down. I have no idea why they did not start an IV to keep my hydrated or give me nausea medicine to stop the vomiting. Then for over three hours I had no nurse of doctor come in. And after I had been in the ER a total of 6 hours the doctor came in and said he was discharging me there was nothing they could do. When I was discharged no one came in to show me how to get out or told me if I owed a co-pay or anything so I wondered around for over five minutes trying to find a check-out and I finally gave up and just left. I was sicker leaving then going in! Luckily I found a local doctor the next day that diagnosed me with food posioning and was able to help me. DO NOT GO TO RHM!

I will have to say the ER staff at Sentera was excellent this evening. I was so impressed. I cannot thank you enough for the care and consideration you gave my granddaughter tonight

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this place is terrible. We are on hour 8 in the emergency room and still waiting to be seen. Supposedly we were going to be seen in 15 minutes.... two hours ago. And they aren t even busy in the ER tonight. Everyone seems to be standing around and laughing together. Super frustrating!!!

They take entirely too long to do anything. The doctors don't care about the patients in any way. Not to mention you wait for 5 hours just for labs to be done

Waited 3 months for a visit with Dr. Martin who had left Johns Hopkins and came very highly recommended by friends. Had records sent and everything approved by his office for a visit. 4 days before a 85 mile trip to visit Martin we were called and told that we never had an appointment with Martin it was with Dr Ko but Ko was out on our date so we had to see Khalique instead. I told Kari that everything approved 3 months prior and we followed up 2 weeks ago and she said we were mistaken that Martin wasn't taking new patients. Told her to pound sand we'd go to Leesburg to another specialist and sure wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. I see why ratings so poor at RMH. From the reviews I can also see they don't read these reviews because it sounds like the Emergency room sucks big time. Glad we're in another town.

This hospital was a joke. Daughter had to be admitted for stomach pains and all they wanted to do was take a blood sample. We were told it would be 30-45 minutes for the results. It's been over 1.5 hours on top of the initial wait to see the nurse. We have been waiting for 4.5 hours so far and no doctor has stopped by. Sorry for the people of Harrisonburg with no other options .Bad experience.

My daughter had a broken wrist -- horrible break. They did rush her right in and it was busy. The nurses were wonderful. The PA was horrible. Our daughter is a student and we were trying to make decisions where to do the surgery. He was either incompetent or unwilling. If he had shown some compassion and said I am sorry I just do not know the answers. But instead he was disrespectful, did not answer questions, did not attempt to find someone who could and sat there with his arms crossed.

Udder disbelief and disgusted! My mother goes in for surgery and while the idiot nurse is trying to start her IV, another nurse walks in, just walks in the room, and the IV nurse she says "oops, I blew than vein because I wasn't paying attention!" Really? You're that easily distracted... then you don't need to be a nurse. How does this place not have malpractice suits?
I wouldn't have given this one star but it won't let you post unless you do!

This ER is deplorable, shameful and staffed by a bunch of incompetent , uncaring care givers. I was there for 16 hours before reaching my room. If you have determined the community needs a certain number of beds, open them for heaven's sake and take care of your community. Educate your nurses for competence. They want to know how to care and get rid of the ER docs who don't want to be there anyway and mumble 7 words to a patient in 16 hours. If I could give zero stars I would. Disappointing, poorly organized and managed. A haven for malpractice.

I just spent a week on 3 West with some of the best nursing staff I have ever met. I wish to thank all of the great people involved with my care. I honestly don't think I could have made it through without them.

Any doctor or practice that places their convenience above your healthcare needs should be avoided

Just got EOB from ins. One charge for $758 . Called to see what the charge was for ??? I got a shot, Dr billed ins and Sentara billed ins for use of facility $758 . For a shot , no wonder ins is so expensive. This is crazy !!!!!!!!

My wife and I were visiting from Canada when my wife suffered a very serious fracture requiring immediate surgery. The nursing staff at Emerg, the doctors, surgeon and nursing once admitted were the best.

Customer service is below 0, they talk with you like the see you for free!! Plus if you to emergency thatst it you killed your whole day because the wait is ridiculous!

Hindsight as a person that tries to forgive people for them as well as understanding to situations that can be presented irrevocably, this is not one of those times. I'll make this brutally short without even having to put a full description of why but I literally should have just died from my heart disease or try to make it across the mountain to UVA. It would have been a lot easier and worth it..

Didn't look at my X-rays right and put me on crutches making my knee worse. I have patellofemoral syndrome and they said it was sprain. MISDIAGNOSE MUCH!!!?

We found a Wonderful Doctor who recommended Sentara to us. We were surprised when we found the doctors caring, experienced and quite knowledgeable .
The reviews on Google weren't exactly positive. But we think it's a Wonderful, modern ,caring and very well maintained institution. Quite Suprising but very satisfied

They are very unknowledgeable of their medical fields and have no idea what they are doing, all they do is try to give pain relievers that kills your liver and health instead of fixing the actual problem. Do Not Go Here. Google can help you much better.

Excellent care from the entire staff - from ER intake, to billing, the nurses, physician assistant, ultrasound tech to the final referral for orthopedic surgeon (which took a few referral hops to get to the right specialist). The care for active bleeding began literally at the reception desk. Everyone is very polite and every member of the medical team is supportive of one another, great communication with each hand-off. I'm in the process of finding her name, but one of the nurses in surg prep insisted on an ultrasound in response to pain...and that test turned up a blood clot. Received truly potentially life-saving care here.

I drove myself up to RMH last October with severe stomach pain. I went to the ER & was seen within 5 minutes. Turned out I needed an emergency appendectomy which was done by that late afternoon. Everyone was so nice,attentive & professional. I only stayed overnight & was released the next afternoon. Without a doubt the most wonderful experience I have ever had in a hospital. 100% better than Augusta Health!(which was why I drove the half hour drive to RMH). I sent the nurses in the wing I was in an Edible Arrangement to thank them for the wonderful experience. I highly recommend RMH to anyone that will listen.

I dont know what RMH is thinking. This is supposed to be a hospital not a dr office. The people here suck. They made my 12 year old sit oit in the waiting area in pain crying an throwing up this place is a joke. If i could give this place 0 stars that is what it would be.

Could be easier to navigate for new patients, but staff are all helpful when possible.

Entered this hospital via a walk-in at the er. Minimal waiting time, was admitted and treated to series of tests. with the help of a caring staff and Doctors with specialties i ended up needing i had emergency surgery and recovery was without issues. I would strongly recommend this Hospital and the doctors and Nurses to any one needing medical assistance. I want to say that at the time of this occurrence i was on vacation in Virginia and i talk with experience as to hospital operations as in my home state i work in a Critical Care Hospital.
Thanks to all as i am here due to outstanding people who care.

Its a hospital some are great, some ok , and some should be CLOSED. SENTARA ITS LEANING TO GREAT... BASE LINE ITS THE EMPLOYEES THAT CAN MAKE OR BREAK HEALTH CARE PLACE....

Kim in the rheumatology department is wonderful. After moving out of state I had a hard time finding a new doctor. Once one was found, Kim sent all the paperwork and continued to follow up with the doctor and myself until the appointment was made. She made a very stressful time easier for me. Thank you Kim

Maybe I should of read the reviews. My wife is 3 cm all day has a schedule c section the next day and we have been seen 3 times they continue to send her home and not make her comfortable. I finally had to be snippy with them. I pray my baby is coming out okay.

The ER Staff came to meet us when they saw my husband was a bit unsteady. From there we were treated with kindness. We did not need to wait and they took excellent care of him. We did have to wait as you do everywhere in an ER between steps and then for the admitting physician. Everyone was thorough and competent as well as caring and kind. We are happy to be moving to the area with this health care facility. The food in the cafeteria was very good. Everything was very clean in all parts of the hospital.

I cannot express my gratitude to this facility not only have I been provided with very good care anytime I have been admitted or been seen at RMH Sentara, but they have exceeded all expectations above and beyond for having a caring heart for my personal situation!

Kind, efficient, super clean. Thank you for taking such good care of me! Doctors and Nursing staff were exceptional and very good natured. The food was ACTUALLY GOOD! Thank you for taking in a stranger and making them feel comforted and cared for! Out of state JMU Parents can breathe easy!

This Sentara hospital is a JOKE... I would go into detail but there's just to much BS..... Please if you need care go to Med Express and skip all the Democratic bureaucracy, They will be honest and upfront with you and not hold you hostage over a signature........

My family doctor sent me to Sentara because my blood test was indicating a possible blood clot. I was having pain in my right side when breathing. I have a clotting disorder and had a stoke in the past.. Also had recent heart surgery. There was only one friendly person in the staff that was at the desk and that was Nan. The man that starting an iv on me was a grouch. My doctor sent me there requesting a cat scan be done to determine what was going on with me. Later I learned the iv started could not be used for the contrast used when doing a cat scan. It was too small. Knowing my history; I still sat for hours. It was over five hours before I got a cat scan. I had a good travel nurse, Ursulla. The doctor was not professional acting. The scan found pneumonia which needed strong antibiotics to protect my heart. When I had a stroke my care was excellent. Sad to say they need big change now!

Was told the wait wasn't that long, got triaged quickly, but then began the wait. Currently just over an hour into waiting, finally moved into a treatment room. I'm waiting to have minor lacerations cleaned since I fell on some nasty gravel, they'll probably be scabbed over by the time I get seen. Whoooooo. Friendly people so far though.

I went to have my baby checked at 17 weeks. They don t send you to labor and delivery they keep you in the ER. After waiting forever the nurse looked for the heartbeat and said she found it, but seemed very uncertain with what she was looking for. The dr who was so rude to me finally came and said he would check my cervix but he seemed absolutely annoyed and unconcerned so I told him as long as he felt comfortable with finding the heartbeat I would just follow up with my obgyn in the morning. He discharged me and reported to my obgyn that I refused a ultrasound which he NEVER offered. The next morning I followed up at my regular obgyn where they discovered my baby had died at least 2 weeks prior. So explain to me how you don t have nurses that can use Doppler s in the ER yet you don t send your pregnant patients to labor and delivery? Explain to me what exactly you heard. Also once sent to labor and delivery the next day the dr was very pushy about how he wanted me to deliver my dead son! But fortunately you had one very compassionate and kind nurse who helped get me to UVA.

Horrible experience and horrible hospital. Nurses are very rude and very un-professional. Patients calling for help and they were so rude and kept telling them they have to wait in a very rude way. And very careless. They get mad anytime you ask anything and dont want to help. 5 of them were in front of room 21 at around 10pm talking about their personal life and making fun of patients for more than 30 mins while people were trying to get help. Also, It has been 6 hours and still counting. Just horrible. Good luck to you.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was in a serious car accident and way taken by ambulance to Sentara. They did xrays and said nothing was broken and I could go home. My husband insisted I go get checked out at UVA. Ends up I had five broken ribs and a broken ankle. I ve been going back and forth with Sentara about the ridiculous bills they keep sending me. The patient advocate took four months to figure things out and didn t advocate for us AT ALL. After agreeing with us about everything we said by phone she then sends us a letter saying we need to pay the bills because the care I received was appropriate . Listen to me people. Go to UVA or Winchester unless you re bleeding out. Then when the bleeding stops get out of there!

To me it's a God's heaven/ hell. People come here to survive punishment pronounced by God. Here Doctores & paramedical staff examine.
Lucky ones are discharged and the unlucky are doomed.
I have an experience to have visited for I'll health of my better half.
Luckily was relieved and exhonorated of the charges.

I had a car accident....back hurting couldn't take a deep breath for the first few hrs......got x-rayed then after sitting in the doctors office for about 3 hrs he comes back to tell me I'm fine go take a Tylenol it'll help (didn't prescribe a thing)..... got a second opinion I HAD LIGAMENT DAMAGE IN ALL THE PLACES HE SAID WERE FINE needed physical therapy and everything this place should be shut down

I wish I could give this place 0/5 stars. I waited from 8:35pm-12:40am to be even called back to be seen. I waited another 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Once I had some tests done I was told that it would take an hour for the results to come back. An hour and 45 minutes later I had to find a nurse in the hallway to come help me and find the results of my tests. It is now 3:33am and the doctor is still not back. I came here to be checked out to make sure everything is okay and maybe get some medicine to help, but now my main issue is the fact this hospital cannot get it together in a timely fashion. I m honestly TERRIFIED to have anything happen to me to where I have to come back here. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do not come here unless you like waiting for 7+ hours. And yes the people are nice, but that doesn t make up for the lack of organization clearly needed in this hospital.

We've been to RMH three times now, once for myself and twice for my son, and have been very pleased with the politeness and professionalism of the whole staff.

Ok....I definitely agree with many bad reviews on here. The ER is a nightmare. The staff is unprofessional, the wait times are ridiculous. This has a lot to do with people using the ER that are either drug seeking or being seen for something that should be addressed in a family physician's office. Still, I feel this is Sentara's responsibility to assess that need in the community and address it. The billing department is awful as well. It is hard to get even a simple question answered.
HOWEVER.....I had the BEST experience yesterday with the Outpatient surgery nurses! Everyone was extremely accomadating, kept me well informed, extremely professional and empathetic. All of my concerns were addressed, and I feel these individuals went out of their way to make me comfortable. It seemed like people were there to work and cared about their jobs, unlike in other departments, such as the ER, which seems more like a social gathering of employees gossiping and talking about personal subject matter.
Thank you so much to the Outpatient Center for an awesome experience! You guys are the best!

They have gotton a lot better since Sentara has taken over. They have brought in some great Doctors, Surgeons and Specialist.

The most beautiful thing happen to me at RMH Orthopedic building today . I was scheduled to have an MRI . A nurse by the the name of Deborah Smith was so gentle, kind , caring & sympathetic. She even prayed with me be for the MRI . HER prayer was so powerful, i actually felt the power of GOD over me . The power of GOD was all over me . She is an amazing an absolutely beautiful person. I really pray that she has an an amazing life with our lord . She absolutely deserves some type of award. We need more people like her in this world. What an absolutely beautiful woman. Thk u 4 ur prayers.

Lousy customer service, no sense of urgency. Insensitive staff, Emergency room night staff is atrocious for good care as they do not provide any. They treat college students from JMU like trash. My daughter had gone to them twice and both times treated horribly. I called and complained last time will get their accrediting agency involved this time.

I gave birth 3 times in this hospital. I drove an hour in labor all three times, and plan to do it again for baby #4. I pass a hospital and am closer to two other hospitals, and would choose this one again in a heartbeat. The L&D staff is so kind, so understanding, there for you and happy to be. I am attending The Wound Clinic there where Dr. Nina Smith and on days She isn't there Dr. Montgomery fills in for her.
They Both saved my Shin where a Hematoma, the size of Cantaloupe developed where I fell on my Shin in July 2020. I Appreciate Dr. Smith & Dr. Montgomery so much. I will Never Be Able to Thank You but My Heart that Carries many Tears when it Looks into How You Both saved my Shin ~ I am so Very Thankful to You Both and All the CARING WOUND NURSES in your Clinic.

This is the worst emergency room I have ever been too. Out of town, cousin had an emergency came at 10:30pm, it is now 2:35am still haven't seen anyone. The nurses up front are passive and rude, no sympathy.

We brought our 3 year old son in with a broken femur Friday morning. Someone picked us up in a golf cart as soon as we parked. When we walked into the front desk they made sure our son was seen right away, since he was obviously in extreme pain. A gentlemn noticed his ninja turtle shirt and asked him about the turtles which helped to keep him calm. The entire staff was extremely caring & nice. We had numerous people come in and give our son ninja turtle stickers and packs, they even had people searching to find a sticker with his favorite turtle Raph on it. I bawled my eyes out at how caring and quickly they cared for our son.

I had go to the ER for an abscess on the back of my leg. I was entered into their "Fast Track" service. I went through the triage, and then I waited probably an hour, before I was called back to the treatment area. My wait there was probably about a half hour before I was seen by the doctor. It was about another half hour before I received treatment. I was there probably a total of 2 to 2-1/2 hours. The nurses were so nice and friendly , and very caring. Dr. Marble is a great doctor , I would highly recommend you go to this facility for your emergency treatment.

I gave birth to both of my children here and those ladies are amazing, the process was amazing. My dad had cancer 3 years ago and in the emergency room, the doctor came in and asked him what his symptoms were, what was going on. My dads answer, I have cancer. I had my 2 year old there 2 months ago, sent from medexpress for what they thought was double pneumonia. They asked me.. what did they want us to do? We waited about 4 hours and sent home with what was almost steroid tablets for my 2 year old until I noticed and told the nurse the patient on the paper was a man and not my daughter. Tonight we went there with a serious goose egg. My two year old fell and let me tell ya, a nasty looking injury. We waited for 2 hours out front and an hour in the back room before I told them I think she s okay and we are leaving. I turned to walk away, waiting on paperwork and my mom sees the nurses hiding behind the printer laughing. I should be the one laughing. I work in customer service. My mother in law is a nurse, my sister in law, my cousins and a good friend actually works in this ER and if it weren t for these ladies, all respect would be lost. What a shame that some give others who take their job seriously such a bad name. A job that should, in fact be taken seriously. Especially when dealing with a mom and her child. What a shame. I wish I could give an amazing review based on the delivery unit or the cancer center but every chance I have had to be proven wrong has been a joke. Really.

Staff was helpful and kind. Not much else to review (I was visiting family/newborn).

Up-to-date hospital with excellent staff. Everyone went above and beyond. Nice waiting areas with snacks, food, & a pharmacy.

The worst hospital I have ever been to. We literarly spend 8 hours in there, 4 in the waiting area and then 4 more waiting for a doctor to check on my husband. When he finally came he barely did anything it was as if he was rushing to get out of the room. It's a waist of time!!!!!

Emergency department: Wonderful caring staff. It s apparent they love what they do. The community at large are very greatful for their service here. If someone has a true emergency this is the place to get care. They save lives every single day.

RMH- now Sentara RMH: The hospital is fairly new. Rebuilt and relocated. From open heart surgeries to knee/ hip replacements. Sentara provides a range of care for most of the needs and concerns of the community. The Staff does listen to your needs and concerns and adresseses them the best they can. Resources are provided and follow up information is given. Thank you Sentara.

DON'T COME HERE unless you want to wait a year. We were sent to the fast track waiting yet still waited forever to even be called back. Wish i could rate 0/5 stars.
