I had my first child at RMH. My midwife was very respectful of my requests to have a natural birth and let me labor 12 hours without success. When my babies heart rate plummeted, the room was full of hospital staff in 30 seconds. Within 60 seconds they had delivered my son and avoided an emergency c-section. My family later told me that everyone in the room had a job to do and didn't hesitate at all to do them. The OR staff was even waiting in the hallway to take me to the OR if things got worse. The knowledgeable staff and doctors saved my sons life and probably mine as well. My family and I are very grateful for the hospital and its staff.
