If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was in a serious car accident and way taken by ambulance to Sentara. They did xrays and said nothing was broken and I could go home. My husband insisted I go get checked out at UVA. Ends up I had five broken ribs and a broken ankle. I ve been going back and forth with Sentara about the ridiculous bills they keep sending me. The patient advocate took four months to figure things out and didn t advocate for us AT ALL. After agreeing with us about everything we said by phone she then sends us a letter saying we need to pay the bills because the care I received was appropriate . Listen to me people. Go to UVA or Winchester unless you re bleeding out. Then when the bleeding stops get out of there!
