I'm a huge fan of 5 Star Ford. I previously had a very bad experience with a different Ford dealership service department on service for my son's mercury we bought privately. Reluctantly when we needed another car for my son, we looked at Sam Pack instead. Not only did we buy his car from Robert there, we bought my wife one as well on the same day. I've had her car serviced there now and it was a good experience. Now I'm going to buy a 3rd car from Robert. Very knowledgeable, low pressure and just genuine good folks.

I m really disappointed with this purchase and the service given, I never thought that I would come across something like this. I bought a 2015 Land Rover LR4 from their preowned inventory on 7/8/2020 and not even a month with the vehicle I got a check engine light on. Well I live in Flint, TX so it s about a 2hr drive and I m constantly busy with work. I really wish they could ve approach things differently since I lived far out and I wasn t sure if my car would make it to their dealership ok. At this point I was very concerned about this vehicle, I called the dealership to see if they could possibly work with me to get my car fixed here in town. Note, I haven t made my first payment yet. I was really hoping they could ve selected a shop in my area to get my car fixed, or just covered the expense themselves, but that did not work. The only option that they gave me was for me to meet halfway and swap with a loaner car and I was held accountable of course if anything escalated with my car on my way there so this option did not work for me. My expense was $310.25 and paid it a week after my first payment and now I m looking into another expense which are my brakes. They have a squeaking noise going on, but Its okay. Luckily we have a little savings and we will make it through this bad experience. I m not looking into getting anything from Sam s Five Star Ford from this review, the last thing I need is to deal with them again, this review is for any new potential customer coming through their dealership. Be wise with your decision and please look at different options. I really wish I could be leaving a good review here, really wish I never came across this problem.

It s missing pieces 3. It s not the same part... these guys are jokes, do Not buy parts from them because they have no intergrity . Pathetic . I will be there soon to have a talk with the owner . Kevin Cunningham in the Service dept helped me get my 2007 Ford Sport Trac repaired in a timely manner. He was professional and kind and understood my fear of driving the veh on the highway. The staff was also nice at the cashier counter. As of now, the vehicle appears to be fixed and it is a great relief to me. I have had another visit and ditto to all the above. My truck had a rear signal light out, and Kevin had it replaced with NO appt, and I was out of there in less than 15 mins. Kudos to Kevin and Sam Pack's Five Star Ford.

This has been the best car leasing experience I've ever had. it was easy, seamless, and professional. Makenna Purcell, my salesperson, spent the time needed with me to answer all of my questions and make sure I knew which model to go with, since I was looking at two. She was patient with all of my odd required items, which are probably very different from most people. She went above and beyond to make sure that I got to experience the Ford Escape in every way so that I was 100% in my decision. When it came time to talk money, I had the very best experience with the new car sales manager, Mike Munden. He was very professional, very easy to work with, and we were able to come to an agreeable number fairly quickly. Then I was off to finance, and Justin McCarroll was thorough, explained everything, and made the finance portion very easy, which was nice. I won't go anywhere else to buy a Ford, and will refer everyone I know to Sam Pack's Five Star Ford. If you are looking for a Ford, this is the ONLY dealership to go to!

Salesman Alan Reynolds was vry helpful in setting up service appointment and arranging a loaner car for me. Service writer Clay Young was excellant throughout the time my car was being serviced. Regular communication to advise me of progress and probable completion date of the service. Service done was excellent and solved my problem. Horrible! Booked an appointment yesterday for today. Once I got checked in, I was told they were "running a day and a half behind" in their service department; meaning my car wouldn't be completed that day. Why in the world would they book a next-day appointment if they were backed up! I live alone so transportation arrangements would have to be made for two days...plus I was scheduled to leave town in two days too. I would never have booked the appointment and wasted a 1.5 hours of my day. They should have been truthful about their backlog and not suggested a next-day service. Total BS. Won't be back. Ever. Certainly for service and NEVER to buy a new car.

Went there 7am on a Saturday 2nd person there spoke to Moody trying to get it checked out with a diagnosis, it took them 72 hours and still didn't look at it, until I called and asked about my vehicle, ridiculous, like they completely forgot about me. On top of that they tried to overcharge me. With $3000.00 of work which half is labor. Told Moody have a sales person call me about trading in my truck while my vehicle stayed another night at there shop. Well I never heard back from Moody or a sales person so the next day paid the fee and told Moody why nobody called me, he swore he gave my info to a sales and I will receive a call to trade in for a new or newer vehicle. So glad I'm not holding my breath!!!! This place is a rip off and hot mess don't go here there plenty of other Ford dealerships in the area avoid this one!!!!!!!!

This dealership gave me a significantly incorrect time estimate on a routine service job, then failed to update me during the repair. I wasted a day on this.

I asked for an appraisal, they insisted I sit down with a salesman to talk about it. This was after my 3 hour service took 8 hours. And the appraisal hadn t even initiated yet. I just wanted a number.

I took the car in later that week for a compensatory detail and to complete the appraisal. Was told the guy who had the number had already left for the day. I ve followed up by phone and by email to find out what the number is. Crickets.

There are lots of Ford dealerships in DFW. Service quality is very competitive. Consider choosing one that prioritizes a customer s time better than Travis team does.

I just bought my first car on my own. (My previous car my dad found and co-signed for). I was filled with anxiety at the very thought, especially since finances were a major concern and I had something very specific I wanted.
I have to say that thanks to RJ Rebolloso and Jorge Guerra I have never made an easier major purchase anywhere else; and as long as they are in the car business they are who I will go to and recommend to friends and family.
I work long hours and have two children and they did not waste my time or gas. I told them what I wanted, the price range I was looking for and within a month they had found me a vehicle that was even better than I had ever hoped. They also kept me informed of other vehicles I may like, but I never felt pressured to change my mind or make a deal.
I appreciate that I was never spammed with unwanted e-mails or phone calls and their responses were always timely to any questions.
When I went in to purchase it took less than 2 hours from test drive to driving off the lot.

I hate, yes I mean hate, high pressure sales and so it was very refreshing to be able to test drive a couple of cars, get prices and leave to go think about it (and talk to my wife) without any hassle.

Also, the fastest new car buying experience I ve ever had I was on a very tight schedule, and they had me done in less than 2 hours!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had with their service department. They hung up on me TWICE and then after I got through a third time to see if they warranty their work, the guy got an attitude when I asked him to clarify the warranty. Won't see a dime from me ever again. They did crappy work the first time and when I called to get it fixed they wouldn't take care of it.

He gave me an estimated wait time and it took a little longer, but the car works great now ! Great service, will be even better when they have they new service wing construction completed. He retrieved the keys to the ones I liked, we drove the one I really liked. We returned to go inside to talk price because I wasn't going to pay what 5 Star Ford had on the windshield. When Jennings returned with the new price I thought it was fair and we had a deal. Next came the finance guy Mr. Quincey, friendly guy who told me about my option that I had such as extended warranty etc., I declined and was not pressured to purchase. Terrible experience with the new car sales department. I went there because I was interested purchasing the new gt350. They had to check my credit and my background etc...to even let me test drive it. I feel like I was being interrogated. I even agreed to their $5000 over the invoice price. It's a ford not a Ferrari. I never got treated like this at BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche. It's a 60k car not that expensive! The manager came by and gave me lame excuses on how I can't test drive it certain way unless I buy it. After all that hassle I went through, I drove the car around the dealership lol. I almost turned into a ford fan but no thanks to that dealership's manager. I bought a M3 instead and no I didn't have to sign my life away before I drove it. So Ford can thank this dealership for turning away a possible client.

I contacted 10 different Ford dealerships online on November 9. I told all of them what vehicle I wanted (2019 Ford Fusion SE) so that I could compare apples to apples. My intention was to purchase by Thanksgiving (within 2 weeks). I asked all of the dealerships to provide me the window sticker and final drive-out price including TTL. I did not want to negotiate back and forth and waste hours of my life to save a few hundred dollars. I wanted to work with the dealership that gave me the best deal from the beginning.

Jared with 5-Star Ford in Carrollton was great. He provided me the window sticker and price and went back and forth with me via email a few times to answer a few questions I had. He never pressured me and was very professional throughout the transaction. 5-Star Ford came back with the lowest price and beat the next best price by approximately $1,000.

Yesterday, I went to 5-Star Ford and spoke with Jared. I saw my car for the 1st time and within 45 minutes, I was driving home with my NEW Ford Fusion!

I could not be happier with this transaction. It was very stress free. Jared provided all the information I needed and did not bombard me with emails or phone calls.

I will definitely work with 5-Star Ford (and hopefully Jared) in the future whenever I am looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Car was in this week for a high dollar repair. Underwhelmed by service level. Only got it out in a day because I held them accountable to the commitment they made when I set the appointment. I saw no "hustle", no extra effort. The tone of voice on the phone was "are you sure you can afford this" and "we'll get it out when we can" Wish I had bought a Toyota. My experience was consistent with other Ford dealerships in the Dallas area. Service departments are always slammed with more work than they can get done. On a positive note, my car is running better. On a negative note, they couldn't get a part I needed and I have to go back for another day of jockeying cars around. There has to be a better way. Where is the "uber" of car repair??

Probably the best car buying experience ever. Was looking for a red 2016 mustang gt and my credit was nowhere near perfect and I was at work when the deal happened. I inquired for a ford mustang at another dealership not to far but the deal negotiations were way off for me and they basically tried to charge my twice for the same vehicle. I inquired about a vehicle online while at work and Justin followed up about the vehicle. I told him my credit, where I wanted my note to be and my down payment. He said I WILL make it happen. I get a call less than 2 hours later and they ask me am I ready to pick my car up. The fact that I was able to do everything online and walk in to sign papers is amazing and was able to get basicall 0% intrest rate on top of 75,000 bumper to bumper warranty for just 4$ extra a month. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership to ANYONE looking for a ford vehicle...in particular mustangs...Justin IS the man to see. If they could give awards from customers They would have a gold medal by now. Clean, friendly, fast environment. Can't say enough good things about this dealership. when I waited for my papers to come in multiple people asked me if I needed help.

This experience is through the level of service a customer gets. I have to say that tonight my wife and I left so blessed with our purchase, the deal that we asked was honored. The car we selected, amazing. But, our sales guy. Chazmack went beyond to help us to make this happen, from my call, to the help in me getting everything done before getting being I had not way of getting there.

The people that I worked with were the greatest. The salesman, Don Wagner, answered all of my questions and was very professional. We talked payment and he was able to deliver what my wife and I asked for in a payment with the help of the finance person. The finance guy did not try to push a lot of unnecessary stuff on us. We had a problem setting up my iPhone with the truck and later on that evening, another person called me and we were able to set up my phone. I spoke to Oscar in the service department who helped me get my car towed, made sure it was covered under my warranty, called me every time something new came up and even stayed late to ensure my car was being done on time. I recommend anyone who is having issues with their Ford vehicle to take it to Sam Pack's Ford in Carrollton, I've never had that good of customer service anywhere else.

Had a great experience at Sam Pack Ford Carrollton, treated me like a valued customer throughout the buying, upgrading, and financial process. Everyone was real nice and a pleasure to work with.
I had looked for a certified F150 for awhile. Most dealerships inventory were not in very good condition and others would use the old bait and switch just to get you in - advertise for one price and when you get there it s 1k to 2k higher for dealer add-on's .
At Sam Pack Ford you get none of that. Price advertised is the same at the dealership. During my purchase one set of the keys did not work. Told me not to worry about it, said when the locksmith comes they will call me to schedule a time, 3wks later I got the call and had the second set made, bottom line they follow through with their promises! I would definitely recommend them!

This is the third vehicle that I have bought from Sam Pack's Five Star Ford and all of the sales have been a positive experience. I received excellent customer service from everyone associated with the sale and the negotiation was smooth and painless. My sales associate (Jesse Myers), the finance person (Justin McCarroll), and the sales manager (Raj) were all fantastic and made the sales experience very positive.

My experience with Five Star Ford is only deserving of one star. Yesterday I picked my 2002 Explorer up after it had been there for a month. I understand the issues of why it was there that long, but the lack of communication from my service advisor, Moody, prompts this rating. I was given an approximate charge at the beginning and wrote down each charge. After a series of obstacles, I was told the price would actually be $400 less due to using a salvage part. Monday, Moody called me and advised vehicle was ready, I inquired about final cost and he said he "didn't know" or have paperwork. When I picked up the vehicle yesterday, the charge was the same ($1800) because extra items were added. I have no problem if they were needed, but once again the lack of communication on the changes is what I am concerned about. Another issue.....when I dropped off the vehicle, I explained that I was concerned that the battery was 5 years old...it was not giving me any issues at all....just concerned about the life of the battery. Moody called me within a few days and said the battery was fine - never mentioned a $66 fee for checking the entire system including alternator. Once again, I didn't mention any of the system had an issue, just the life of the battery. I could have paid for 50% of a new battery with that uncommunicated charge. Throughout the month Ford had my vehicle I received a call about once a week and I had to call several times. When I picked up the vehicle and discovered charges were way more than I expected (due to lack of communication), I called to discuss with Moody before I made this review. His lack of concern and lack of an apology was not surprising.

I had a problem where I was upside on my truck loan. I was expecting to have to carry a lot of negative equity into a new car loan making my payments unaffordable. I was surprised when they presented me a deal that I just could not refuse. Now I am a VERY happy owner of a brand new Mustang!

This is my second vehicle I've purchased from Five Star Ford in Carrollton and I look forward to future deals. The salesman, Chandler, knows me by name and takes good care of me. He works hard to get me the right deal and is totally honest.

Flash (Jeff Flaishans) was so friendly and easy to talk to and took his time with me and let me look at everything I was thinking about. Most unorganized service department out there. You have one guy working with multiple customers waiting on him. The other service writers are sitting around not willing to help. Ford needs to do something about dealerships like this and they aren't the only one with major problems. I would be embarrassed to say I worked for this place let alone managed it. I grabbed my keys and left after Kevin was rude that I pointed out the issue. I won't let a service department work on my vehicle that has major issues on the front end.

For many years I have been a customer of Sam Pack's Five Star Ford. I was directed here and equally important introduced to Clay Young, a service representative.

Nationally known for his radio programs on vehicles, Jerry Reynolds, encouraged me to use Sam's dealership and Clay Young as my service rep. Clay will remain as my service adviser for evermore. I have no negative comments, only accolades.

That is now long ago history . . my experiences at the dealership are just more blessings in my life! I am anxiously awaiting the completion of Sam's rebuilt facility on I-35 just south of Beltline Road in Carrollton, a suburb of Dallas.

I cannot say enough good words about Scotty Luther and his top notch service in assuring that I got exactly what I wanted. He was helpful, courteous, and kind during the entire process. It made it that much better that he was able to find the perfect vehicle for my first big purchase on my own. He kept me up to date in the entire process, took the time to take videos in the rain, and once the purchase was complete he showed me the ins and outs of my new car.

I enjoyed purchasing one of the most Awesome trucks on the road. It started with an email from Allen and it went from there. He showed me exactly what I desired online, when I got there I spent a few minutes with the test drive, gave Allen a little information, left and went to work, got a call from Allen stating that everything was ready to go. After work I went back and picked up the New, Shining,Detailed F150 Platinum...... It was just that easy. 8/9/16 recent issues in the service department and accessories dept. They need to improve communication between mechanics, service advisors and other departments when work is scheduled to be done on a vehicle. This miscommunication cost me several hours from work ,numerous trips back and forth to the dealership and more inconvenience than one person should have to experience. I have been trying to figure out exactly how to describe my most recent unfortunate situation with Carrollton's Sam Pack Five Star Ford Dealership and unable to put in to words. I would like to give my appreciation to R.J. (general manager) and Drew (Service Advisor Manager) for coming through and doing their very best to make the situation right. Thank you both for efforts.

After years in an SUV, I made the decision to switch to a car for better gas mileage and an updated vehicle overall. Jennings Bryant was extremely patient while I asked for all options, and he took the time to explain financial difference between leasing and purchasing. I am happy to have reached a decision on a lease for a new 2015 Ford Fusion. The car is fantastic with the price and all options I was looking for when I cam to Sam Pack's dealership. I brought my 2017 Escape here for some some service, while I was waiting I asked about what to do about my lease because of an accident that destroyed the car s value. They got me out of the lease, saved me quite a bit of money and gave me a good deal on a new lease.
I live in McKinney, but I prefer this dealership and service department over Bob Tomes by far. The service is good and the sales department is not annoying or overbearing. I ll keep coming here for service and when updating my car.

Unorganized and unprofessional. And sold the car I reserved for test drive. They no-showed for an appointment, rescheduled my second appointment because the car wasn t ready , then they called me 45min prior to my test drive to tell me the car was sold. On top of that, the sales guy raised his voice and got upset with me when I expressed my disappointment and hesitation in doing business with Five Star Ford after being treated this way. I do not recommend Five Star Ford Carrolton

I purchased a new F-150 on October 11 and found that there were a few paint blemishes from either the factory or in transit. They were very meticulous in going over the entire body and making sure that every little blemish was made to disappear. They had to keep the truck a bit longer than expected, but only because one of the fixes didn't meet their high standards and did not want to send it home until it was perfect. That's the kind of service that earns them 5 stars.

We purchased a 2017 F150 lariat 4x4 but the carfax report stated it was never in a wreck or had any paint work done to it. I talked with our salesman Kurt about the passenger side have been worked on and repainted. Kurt informed me I was wrong and left it at that. I replaced the 4x4 decals with custom 4x4 decals, you see the clear coat lines were whoever did the work taping over the 4x4 decal. I took the truck back to see Kurt and show him that the truck did have the whole passenger side repainted. The paint work was horrible and the drivers side did not match the passenger side color wise. I got to 5 star Ford and found out Kurt no longer worked there (good job getting rid of him) So now I m thinking I m screwed because Kurt was gone. In comes Dennis White to save the day, he got my trucked fixed right with the color and shoddy paint work. I have sent friends and will continue sending them as well have our Ford vehicles serviced there. If the owner or a manager see this review please take care of Dennis White as well as he does your customers.

Very displeased with level of service from service center. Was given date and time to pick up my truck for a simple alternator fix and new battery, got there and waited 2 more hours just to be told it wont be ready till tomorrow and we haven't even ordered the battery yet. DONT DO BUSINESS here!

I've been in the market for a specific F-250, and I had a very specific deal that I needed to make. I searched all over Texas, and found the truck at a few places. They all screwed it up, either trying to take me for a ride on the deal or just selling the truck to someone else. I was starting to feel like it wouldn't work out, but then I saw the listing for Five Star Ford and they had my truck. I called them up, and was lucky enough to get Jared Wingard on the phone. He listened to my needs, and said to let him get to work. He called me back in less than 2 hours and told me that we were really close, and when I asked him to meet me in the middle he said yes without hesitation. The next day we drove up from Austin, and he had everything ready INCLUDING having the truck parked right out front so we could see it when we pulled in. We were at the dealer less than 2 hours, and drove away with our truck. This is how the buying a car should be, when someone knows what they want and how they need it done. The easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I'd drive back to Carrollton to buy another car from Jared at Five Star Ford!

Had a horrible experience buying my car here, but they promised me my first four oil changes on them due to the issues. They didn't do a good fixing the paint chips off of the to front of the car because it's coming off again. Came back today to get my first oil changd they said it was going to be a three hour wait.
