UPDATE: Sam Pack's responded to my post and was eager to make the situation right by honoring their original internet price. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was due to the fact that it would have been nicer to have been treated so well on the first visit. I do feel, though, that they were courteous and professional in response to my concerns and ultimately took care of me.

Drove from south of Dallas after calling ahead to confirm they still had the vehicle quoted on the internet...sales manager did not honor the price saying it was a mistake and tried to sell me something else for marginal savings. In business, I stand by my word even if I made a mistake. Not sure how they get five star ratings based on my experience.

Had a very good experience with Five Star Chevy. Mr. Cecilio Santos was my salesman and he did a great job getting me into a 2020 Malibu. They didn't have the car I was looking at on their website and he got me hooked up on another Malibu. He was able to accommodate everything I needed. It was only a few hours to get everything in order. Thank you Mr. Santos!!!!

Great dealership, great people. Eddie Mohmand was ...

Great dealership, great people. Eddie Mohmand was super easy to work with. We inquired about a vehicle online and Eddie got in touch right away. In about 30 minutes he'd sent us videos with commentary of the car we were interested in. By the time we arrived at the dealership he had everything ready to go and just helped roll the buying process along. All in all a wonderful experience.

I have been looking for a Jeep for my son who s about to turn 16 and needs a car to drive to/from school and work. I found what appeared to be a nice Jeep at Five Star Ford in Carrollton. The salesperson contacted me and told me vehicle was in very good condition with low mileage and no damage whatsoever. I live in Austin, so I put down a $2500 down-payment and flew to Dallas on Saturday to finish the deal for this vehicle with the plan to drive home to give to my son on his birthday next month.
It turned out that the car had been abused. It had dents in the rear door, paint was flaking off, it had all types of electronics that didn t work, tires were missing chunks of tread, rims were scratched and missing the center caps, spare tire mounting hardware was missing, the window tint on every window was torn and flaking off, the CB Antenna fell off when I drove it. It was a mess, the dealer told me he didn t realize it was in such poor shape and "was sorry". This after I had already spent $300 to fly there, plus Uber, then ended up doing the same go get home. I ended up losing about $800 and a full day due to the dishonesty of this dealership.
They were unable to refund the down-payment until a week later. Please avoid using this dealer if you are looking for a fair deal, especially if you are remote, as I was.

Great people! Willing to work with you to buy a vehicle. They love helping people and the sales people are trained to help you find the exact vehicle that you want and that will fit every need you have in life. I highly recommend coming here to buy a vehicle and their service department is probably the number 1 service department in DFW and possibly in all of Texas (which is why they stay busy and it may take longer to get your repairs done). I am looking forward to purchasing my first new car here! No pressure to buy and the sales people dont push you to buy or try to sell you a vehicle you dont want or cant afford. Also, if they dont have it on the lot they will find it for you at another dealership and have it transferred at no cost to the customer. They value their customers more than any other place I have ever seen. I recommend any salesperson there.

Went in for 3 Ford recalls and my wiper switch that stopped working. I keep a very clean truck inside and out so i can tell they don't care about your vehicle when they work on it. The reason i say this I brought my truck in with the back bench seats down and when i got my truck they were in the up position so my son's school golf cap was crushed in the seat. They should have been more aware of the customer's belongings. I also found their used rubber gloves in the passenger side floor. So again they don't care about cleanliness in customers vehicles. One more thing on poor customer service is I noticed a day later a long white scrap down my driver side door. I called to see if they had video if this was possibly done while on the lot and my rep immediately acted defensive denied it and has yet to return my request to check security videos this was more than 3 weeks ago. No worries, The scrap buffed out but I feel this again shows the customer service is lacking at this dealership. with Ford houses always busy and over scheduled I have to use this one being 5-mins from my work. Hope they get their act together on my next visit!!

I took my Expedition in for service and it was a pleasant experience. Clay Young was friendly, polite and very efficient. I expected to leave my vehicle over night but before the day was over I was called to pick it up.

There is another Ford dealership less than 5 minutes from my house and I drive 22 minutes of of my way to go to Sam Pack's instead because of their outstanding service. They are always ready and willing to help and try to do everything they can to get you taken care of. I really appreciate that kind of service.

I had a great experience buying the car but the delivery was far from superior. The Saleman, his supervisor were not present when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. I had to find someone else to help, then the truck wasn t clean. The salesperson got the vehicle cleaned properly and got me in touch with tech guy to explain the vehicle. I was very excited to pickup my new truck but was disappointed with having to wait another hour to get my vehicle. The truck was supposed to be ready at noon and I arrived after 2. Also, no one showed me your Service Dept. I hope your Service Dept. is better organized.

Pros: They took care of a problem with a certified vehicle that I purchased from them about a year ago. Cons: I had to escalate matter. I know I was right from the start. I guess they have forgotten that the customer is always right. 5 stars would have been given if they would have simply taken care of my concerns without me having to escalate the matter. Heck, I dropped over $90k on 2 vehicles from one day to the next. These guys!

Give Otilio Hernandez a Raise! What a nice salesman to work with. My wife and I showed up and were looking at a F-250 in the parking lot when he came over and introduced himself, told us all we needed to know about the truck, answered our questions, let us test drive, and did not make us feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way. This experience makes us want to come back and buy from Otilio when we find the right one. Thank you for the great experience!

Honestly the best car buying experience I've ever had. Reuben made sure the numbers were explained and were exactly what I wanted. Finance was a breeze as well. Michael in financing knew his stuff! Had a small problem when I picked up the truck, but Clay got it fixed and back to me quickly with a wash and a shine.
Christian in their rental department was easy to work with too.

I started my research online and when I found the car I wanted at the price best price, I responded to the link and completed a very simple credit application. Within just a few minutes, I had an email greeting from Tom followed by confirmation of receipt of my credit app. A call confirmed I was pre-approved. I called Tom back and settled the details regarding my needs. We arranged a time for me to meet Mike. After a long drive, I met Mike and found him to be quite friendly and genuine. He had the car ready and waiting for me to test drive within minutes of my arrival. I took my time looking at the car before I drove it away. He let me have all the time I needed with no interference. After the test drive, I asked to have the car for the night. He made it happen and sent me home with a full tank. I took the car home and showed it to the family and to my mechanic. Everyone approved. The next morning, I returned with my wife and the car. Mike was easy to find and took care of me right away. We worked through the deal and then I moved on to finance. In just a couple of hours, we were done. The car was cleaned, topped off, and ready to go. I\'m no big spender, but they made me feel like one. The whole experience was terrific. I felt welcome and completely satisfied. It could not have been any better...unless they bought lunch. Maybe I should\'ve asked.Oh well. Thanks FSF.

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned in Oct. It was kinda a rushed deal. Everything went smooth, I left with the car with the intention I would bring it back to get detailed. The previous owners info was still in the navigation system. I found an RX bottle of hers. I knew where she lived, worked and spent time. I had to call many time over a month trying to get the extra key that I was promised. I finanly called to see if my plates were in, after the temp tag expired. I was handed my plates by a lady that was not happy to be there. My car has yet to be detailed due to lack of communication.
There were some issues with the locks and Navigation within a week and I was required to pay for them.to be fixed. I have sent several emails to my sales person-nothing! Sent emails to the Customer Service email_nothing! But they have sent me 3 request for a review-so here it is!

These guys really live up to their name! I took my car in for a transmission issue and they were amazing. The staff is professional and they a don t cut corners. I had called a different ford location (Not Sam Pack s) and was turned away even though my car still has warranty coverage. These guys immediately had me take the car in, they understood how important it was for me to get my car back in a timely manner, and made me feel confident that my car was in good hands. I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you for everything, I ll definitely be coming back to you guys in the future!

Don't waste your time with this place, these guys will try to steal your trade in.. Had a sales manager named Raj Patel try to offer me 3,000 for my mustang when I came in person, then called me a couple of weeks after I left and said he can get 7,000. So what changed? Why is my mustang worth 4,000 more all of a sudden? Oh that's because you knew what it was worth but instead tried to low ball me from the start and expect me to give you my business? Not on my watch. Stay away from these crooks.

I'm a one star here. Bought a small transit connect van through these guys. Drove van for few months and it throws a engine code. It's under warranty. So I thought
They tell me rats chewed through my harness. Costs $400+ to fix. Van is garage kept. No rats in my garage. Ford uses soybean for coatings on wiring harnesses. Rats love the taste. Service rep admits that they have issues on there with rats. In this case it took a couple months for problem to be exposed.
These vans/cars sit idle until purchased. You'd better make sure the wiring isn't damaged on any car you purchase from there lot. Service rep told me "good luck" knowing full well it happened on there lot. This is a buyer beware situation with these guys

Sam Pack delivered the vehicle to my home with 1 key and would not leave a copy of the contract. 10 days past purchase and no one will respond to me. They are unwilling to send me a copy of the contract. I would shop elsewhere!

Purchased a used $46,000 car from this dealership ...

Purchased a used $46,000 car from this dealership 11/2018. Was rushed past the negotiation stage, and put directly in the finance office after my test drive. Was denied the opportunity to negotiate prices or talk to a manager until I started to walk out. Even then, the manager on the floor was too busy to come talk to me, and my negotiating attempts were stiffed after taking $500 off the price, refusing to even meet me halfway on my very reasonable offer.

To add insult to injury, when I got home I found that the license plate had been affixed to my car with sheet metal screws, as opposed to machine screws. This damaged my license plate holder beyond repair and scratched my trunk down to the metal. When giving this information to the salesman, I was told can t catch them all, sorry bud . I have tried to get in touch with someone for over a year now in regards to getting this remedied, or at least partially compensated for the damages, to no avail. So here I am, writing my review. I wouldn t go back to this dealership if it was the last one in Texas.

Our salesman Michael Corbett was very knowledgeable and helpful in our search. The reason we came back and will continue to use this dealership is the Sales Director Justin McCarroll. The level of service and professionalism her provided us is second to none. We will see them again when it s time to buy our next car.

I bought a new Escape in 2015 from Jose at Sam Pack in Carrollton, TX. Got exceptional treatment through the entire purchase. I ve taken it back there for service every time, all for normal maintenance. Oscar has been my service rep since day 1. He s the greatest. I show up when the doors open on Saturdays every time. He s always there to meet me. He makes sure everything is taken care of to my satisfaction without fail. I ve never had to make a return trip because someone did something wrong or forgot something. If you want great customer service, go see the folks at Sam Pack in Carrollton... and ask for Oscar. Can t recommend them enough!

I've been taking my truck for standard oil and tire rotations here since I bought it. This time I needed my brakes done, my transmission re-tuned and fuel injectors cleaned. After 3 weeks and no phone call I decided to call them and there replay was oh your truck has been ready. It would of been nice to have someone leave me a message to come pick up my truck. Anyways the next day my check engine light came on and its never been on since I owned it. Then the transmission started slamming into 2nd gear and I started to get a weird noise from the front tire. Then next morning I had an early appointment and planned on taking my truck back to 5 star after, but when I got on the highway the entire truck started to shake and vibrate. It literally sounded like my tire was going to fall off! That's exactly what almost happened cause they didn't tighten all the bolts down when putting my tire back on! Now my custom rim is destroyed and after another 5 days I'm still without my truck and haven't heard from them regarding all the issues with my truck. I wouldn't let the fancy building fool you cause these guys are clueless and the customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Sam Pack's Five-Star Ford was exceptional. My 2012 F-350 Turbo-diesel was ordered from the factory, but upon delivery, I discovered an intermittent hesitation upon entering traffic. This was both dangerous and anxiety producing, given I never knew when it would happen. Internet research shows that some others have had this problem, and it was linked to a computer program that limited power to the rear wheels when starting out to minimize tire spin due to all the power. I have not confirmed this.

My dealer, who has been selling me my F-350 diesel trucks since the 90's, was never able to discover, nor fix this hesitation problem. This has been a constant frustration to me, although, the truck isn't driven on a daily basis.

When my engine light came on, I called my dealership's service department, but staff changes were in effect, and I could not reach my service representative. So I accessed their website, and sent a message to the service department manager. The email came back indicating that it was an invalid address?

I called the dealership to talk t the service department manager, it went to voice mail, so I left a message and my cellphone number. I never received a call back.

I did some research, and found Sam Pack's Five-Star Ford, located much closer to my house, and contacted Clay Young, service representative. He was very personable, and made an appointment for me to bring in my truck.

While the truck was being serviced, Clay contacted me concerning some possible additions to the repair order, like the cabin filters, and fuel filters, that he recommended to be changed out, which I agreed given the mileage.

After picking up the truck, the engine light was no longer on, and upon driving home, I discovered the truck no longer had the hesitation. Yea! I have driven it several times now, and still no hesitation, nor do I have tire spin.

I have now transferred my allegiance to Sam Pack's Five-Star Ford for all my service requirements and highly recommend the service department and Clay Young, based upon my experience. As a bonus, the truck came back much cleaner than when I dropped it off. I appreciated their consideration to detail.

Never a pressured moment. Just servant leadership. I usually hate going into the shark tank of a dealership, but Sam Pack Five Star Ford in Carrollton changed all that. I was asked about my NEEDS and was never pressured to look at a higher trim model. They understood my budget and worked their tails off to stay within it. Jarred and RJ were absolutely amazing in their service. Never going anywhere else after service like that.

After our daughters Fiesta was caught in a Houston...

After our daughters Fiesta was caught in a Houston flood, it would not start. She had it towed to a Ford dealer there, but they didn't fix it right. She was able to dri e it home and we took it to Fi e Star Carrollton. Vince and Drew went the extra mile to help with rhe insurance, diagnose the problem, and finally vet it fixed. The service department deserves a lot of credit finding a very difficult problem. Thanks guys.

I was impressed with their follow up. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and so far this experience has exceeded my expectations. From the start of the sale with Harold Bennett, thru the negotiations with Justin McCarroll and finally the home delivery. In the midst of a pandemic, both made sure that the transaction was easy and more importantly, safe. That meant everything to our family, especially given these uncertain times.

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from Sam Pack my salesman was Reuben Krause and I highly recommend him he went above and beyond to help me get my car and he was not pushy at all. It made the buying a car experience enjoyable. Also their finance guy Justin Mccarroll was great, he worked really hard to get me in to my new 2016 Ford Fiesta ST, he was very helpful and told me everything upfront, I hope both of them are there for many years because they are a great asset to the company. I will be telling anyone that needs a new car to visit Sam Pack's Five Star Ford. A++++ customer service!

At then end of December I decided to look for a new car. After looking at the SP web page I found a couple I was interested in so I called Melanie and asked her if they were still available. When I got there she had them ready for me to test drive. As always, Melanie and everyone else at SP Ford Carrollton were willing to help and make sure I felt comfortable with the purchase and everything involved with the purchase. Melanie made sure I got the best finance options and any and all discounts available. This is the second car I bought through Melanie, and 7 or 8 I have bought from Sam Pack. The Finance department as well is well informed with different finance options and ready with the paper work. One of the biggest reason I do buy from Sam Pack is the Service. Each of the reviews I give I have to make sure I mention the Service Department, more specifically Clay and Garrett. Needless to say I will continue to buy cars and recommend Sam Pack Ford Carrollton

Second Review for new Purchase June 2018
I called Melanie prior to our visit to the dealership to have the car we were interested in buying available and as in the past she had it ready when we arrived.
Melanie has been our salesperson for the last several cars we purchased for a reason. She knows her job is to make the customer happy, comfortable with the purchase and have everything in place.
Make sure to ask for Melanie when you want to buy your next car or truck.
Make sure to ask for Clay Young or Garret Tidman to be your Service Rep.

The lease process was seamless but reaching anyone at this location is like pulling teeth. If you can ever get someone on the phone -they will likely want to transfer you to someone else. I work in the auto industry and work with service and shops on a daily basis and the service at this location is terrible. My lease is coming up and I will not be going back to this location unless it is the only option. Dept issue in Service & Accessories

I went to Sam Pack's 5 Star Ford because I saw a vehicle that I liked online. Reuben Krause called me and set up an appointment for me to come see him. In the mean time he sent me a video and some pictures of the Explorer I was interested in. While on our way Reuben kindly called to make sure our 2 hour trip was going well. When we arrived Reuben introduced himself and was very courteous. He showed me all the features on the Explorer and made sure that was the best choice for me out of everything they had on the lot. We didn't make a decision immediately because of price. After a while and negotiation we came to an agreement on a price. They got the Explorer cleaned up in a very timely manner and made sure we knew how all the Sync features operated. I feel like we got the best deal possible on the vehicle and we do not regret this purchase in the least little bit. I would send anyone that I know to Reuben to buy a vehicle because we were treated and still are treated with the upmost respect. Thanks Reuben!

Dropped my husband's car off for a recall this mor...

Dropped my husband's car off for a recall this morning and my service advisor was not great. First I had my appointment last week and unfortunately I had to reschedule. Had to wait over 5 mins to speak to Kevin which I was told I had to speak with since the original appointment was with him. He said both times I spoke with him the week before and that day that the recall would take ALL day. Dropped the car off and was contacted by him about issues they found dirty air filter and expired tags and I as I told him not my car do not do anything I'll have my husband deal with it. He was still asking about the tags I clearly said don't do anything he will deal with it. Seems like he couldn't take no that easily. Then he calls about 2 hours after dropoff to let me know the car was ready glad it didnt take all day like he stressed when I made the appointment but, he was saying if I didnt have the vehicle in first thing it would probably be until Monday when I could get it back. I feel like he is not giving correct information. Also when I made the appointment over the phone and asked for the phone number my number is tied to my mom's car and he said he would have to put it on her account okay no big deal but, this morning it was not entered under anywhere and he asked for the information I gave him her name thinking that's how he would find it. He reentered all the information and I said well can you just change the name to my husband's and he said there is no difference. Yes there is I rather his vehicle be linked under his name for future reference. Long story short don't go to Kevin in service. I rather drive out somewhere else to speak to someone who has a pleasant personality and knows their job. I worked in service for a dealership so I know how it should go and also from going right next door to the Chevrolet dealership for my truck and this was a weird experience from the booking to the actual appointment. Best part when I went to pick up the car it was blocked in by other vehicles

It's a nice place with nice vehicles. Who's there for a couple hours waiting on my truck to be serviced. It was surprising nobody tried to sell me a new vehicle. I'm not entirely sure why nobody really said anything to me except the people I said something to First. That's the first time I've been in a dealership and had no one say hi to me. It's not really what I'm looking for in a dealership so when I buy my next truck I'll probably go somewhere else. I had $30,000 cash on me I going to put down on a nice shiny new truck. I did go in there looking a little bit of a mess. I had grease on me and I had been tinkering with my other toys today. I guess they judged the book by it's cover. I actually walked around and looked at some of the new trucks and nobody said anything to me so I just let them change the oil on mine and left. Sad really guys.

Today, 13 January 2018 I brought my 2017 Ford F-150 in to ask about the loudness of my engine with only 7500 miles on it. My sales Representative (Mike Burnett), and the service department manager (failed to get name) exceeded their customer service requirements to ease my worries. The service manager had Mike bring another 2.7L F-150 to show that in fact these engines do sound louder that other engines. They did not need to go to this extent, they could have easily accepted my truck and had me wait all day as they were extremely busy. Thank you Five Star Ford for true customer service in all facets of your organization.

I was working in the area one day and looked on the internet to see if there was any used trucks for sale. There was a 2004 f250 that they had so I decided to go there and take a look at it and went in and talked to Terry Smith and told him the truck that I was interested in.we took it for a test drive and I knew it was the exact truck I have been looking for for over a year the truck had 260000 miles on it but it has been maintained very well by the previous owner so I wasn't to concern about the miles. There was a couple very very small leaks that concerned me a bit and I have been around diesel pickups my whole life so I kinda had an idea what they were so I ask them to take a look at it. They confirmed what i thought it was and we already settled on a final price before I noticed the small leaks so I talk to Kip Hines and they covered the repairs at the price we settled on before I noticed the leaks. I highly recommend Sam pack's five star ford Carrollton and will definitely be going back for my next vehicle.

This was the first time I have ever purchased a car, it was actually a wedding gift from my father-in-law to my husband and I. Timothy Little was a literal HERO! He made the whole experience very very enjoyable. His personality and willingness to get us what we needed at a price we could afford was outstanding. He was so kind and absolutely HILARIOUS! Great experience overall. They are super quick, friendly and very efficient. Grant helped us to get the car we wanted. The whole process took only a couple of hours and we drove our new Ford Focus home. I would recommend going to Five Star Ford.

Transmission seemed to go into neutral, or at least quit pulling. Happened several times. After 4 days you could find nothing wrong. Seems you only used check engine light and trouble codes from the computer for diagnosis. Did anyone actually look at the transmission? Pull the pan to see if there might be a broken wire. stuck valve or broken spring in the valve body? Check for foreign material in the transmission fluid? Probably not. Seems real mechanics are becoming a thing of the past. If the computer says nothing is wrong then that's it. Nothing wrong! While the diagnostics are a great tool, they are just that; a tool. I have no doubt that if I keep it long enough for the warranty to run out you will have NO problem taking it apart to find the problem - - -as long it is on MY dime.

Great overall experience! I bought my Expedition from Sam Pack, but the location of the dealership wasn't as convenient to my house as another Ford dealer. After taking the Expedition to the "convenient" Ford dealer 3 times for brake vibration and being told I was wrong about what I was feeling, I decided to go back to the point of purchase. Garret in service did a great job, I told him when I called that I only had 50 miles left on the warranty. He got me in the next day and it was fixed the first time and I was right the brakes rotors needed to be resurfaced. From drop off to shuttle service both to and from my office it was a pain free experience. I will be using Sam Pack for all other service going forward.

Don and Jess were AWESOME! Don did so much leg work prior to me going to the dealership. He was a man of his word and got me into an economical and dependable car for my needs. Jess did all of the leg work...she walk the hot car lot with me and answered all of my question. Carlos finance man extraordinaire had me approved quickly. He had all of the paperwork ready for me to sign before I even got comfortable in the chair! (And) all of the sales people that were friendly and funny made the day breeze by.
Truly the most stress free car shopping experience I have ever had.
