BUYER BEWARE!!!! Totally disappointed with the Finance Department after being JAMMED into a loan with 8% interest rate after i told them i would obtained a better interest rate with my bank, which I did @3.44%. They submitted the contract before I was able to make it back to sign another deal! Went into dealership to cancel contract and every person I talked told me something different. Even the GM was clueless. They lied about being with customers, returning calls and the fact that the couldn't cancel contract. One finance guy told me it would be $200 flat fee to cancel contract, another said it couldn't be done at all. So I asked for a refund of about $4200 in warranty/Gap. I was told that only two items had been processed and I would have to wait on all but two which will be deducted from my loan amount. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. They don't value their customers.
I recently purchased a Honda CRV from Justin Stagg with Richards Honda. Justin provided excellent service, fair prices, and he was extremely professional. The ease of doing business with him was incredible. He had the vehicle gased up, sitting on the show room floor, and paperwork about 90% complete when we arrived making everything extremely smooth. I definitely recommend Justin and Richards Honda! Great company.
Tbh that is a good car dealership but in my opinion I like Honda's so I'll like the car dealership.
Carva was so patient and courteous, a great listener who understood our needs in purchasing a high-end used vehicle. I live in Florence,MS.One day I was looking for a used CRV when I found one on Richards Honda web site.I phoned the dealership and they let me speak to a salesperson named Alvin Washington.Mr. Washington told me to come on in and we could probably make a deal.I explained to him that I was about two and one half hours away.He said no problem that he would assure me of a certain amount for my trade.Well I left my home and got to Richards Honda at 4PM.Alvin was there waiting for me.He welcomed me to his turf and showed me the CRV. It was exactly what I wanted.Alvin gave me the deal he promised! At 6PM ,I was on my way in a freshly washed CRV. Best 2hrs I ever spent at any dealership!!!!! Thank you Mr Alvin Washington.
I had an absolute fantastic experience with Richards Honda. I was helped by Jasmine Naylor and she certainly knew her stuff she answered all of my questions and made sure I got the car I wanted. After looking at about 6 cars and not feeling any of them she suggested a white Corolla and was convinced I would love it and she was definitely right. I can't even wait a week to rave about my experience at Richard's Honda! I just purchased my first vehicle, and the team exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant going in without a male voice to help me negotiate the sale, but I did not feel like they were trying to scam me. My two salesmen, Brian Stansberry and Brian Hopkins, answered any questions I had, and the used car sales manager Kevin Brown even got in on the negotiation action. The finance manager, Curtis Hopkins, explained everything to me in laymen's terms so I could fully understand the transaction.
I had a great time doing business with everyone at every aspect of the sale--from sales to finance. The best way I can describe my experience is friendly, honest, and a lot of fun! They made a task I thought was going to be tedious and stressful easy and about what I needed/wanted! I've definitely already shared my story and referred them to a few people, and if I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Richard's. Great customer service within a friendly environment.
Never buying from this place again. The sales person, Billy Jean George, was very good, but the Finance Department is a nightmare. Buyer beware! DON'T PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTIES AT THE TIME OF VEHICLE PURCHASE. After you go home and read what you are really buying, you will see you will be overpaying for a lot of things and the coverage is not that great. And good luck getting Richard's Honda to give you your money back if you cancel within the 30 days. I cancelled the warranties within a week and two months later, after many unanswered phone calls and emails from the Finance Director, Curtis Hopkins, I'm paying interest on the extended warranties and they haven't refunded for the coverage I cancelled and they all just give me the runaround. First he said we'd get refunded the money directly and now they are saying they'd refund the financing institutions, which means my monthly note will be higher. Either way, they have done nothing. In the meantime, I am paying a high car note that includes an extended warranty I don't have, and I am also paying for it to the extended warranty company we chose. I have never seen poor customer service like this on a car dealership, especially for a vehicle that costs over $40k. You'd think they'd treat you differently even knowing we told them we were purchasing another vehicle with a few months. Definitely not on this place. I am even removing the Richard's decal from our Pilot Touring because I have no interest in promoting lousy customer service. Today, on a last attempt, I left voicemails to Mr. Hopkins, AGAIN, and to the the general manager to see if this nightmare ends.

I bought a vehicle from this dealership about 15 years ago. It was a pleasant experience then and worth the 4 hour drive and over night stay. So, when we started shopping for a Honda Odyssey, we had to check here again. Found the exact vehicle at a price we could live with. Once again, Richard s was just right for us.

I had gone to the competition on the other side of town where I got the exact opposite treatment. They were pushy and evasive about the price of a car. I have already recommend Richards Honda to several people and will be back for my next car. I felt I got a GREAT deal on my 2011 Certified Honda Accord with a V6.

If you have to get any work done on your car, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE. I am currently sitting in the service center. I've been waiting here for 2.5 hours. I had an appointment to get an armrest installed. I purchased the armrest with my car. Despite the fact that I had an appointment and this was in the purchase price, I am still sitting here waiting for the armrest to be installed.
They told me it would take an hour. Fine. After an hour I went to see how much longer it would be. A few minutes, they said. 30 minutes later, a manager came by to inform me that they hadn't begun the installation, but they would get to it soon. About another hour. I am still sitting here with no sign of my car and no idea when I will get to drive it again.
The service here is awful. Maybe it's just today, but be that as it may, this experience is AWFUL. Don't bring your car here. You'd be better off fixing it yourself. At least then you would know why the mechanic is having trouble.
I mean, seriously, this is a HONDA dealership. Why are the people who work in the service center having this much trouble installing something on a HONDA!?! This place is the worst.

Everyone knows I'm a grumpy old man, and my experiences with car dealers has made me even grumpier. But I must say, Jasmine Naylor at Richard's Honda made my recent CRV purchase a very pleasant experience. I asked Jasmine to do a few things to make the purchase quick and easy, and she fulfilled all of my requests. This was, by far, the fastest and easiest car purchase I've ever made in my 50 years of car ownership. If you want to buy a car from an honest person that doesn't play games, Jasmine is the person you need to see. And Honda- well, this is my fourth Honda in a row, and they're mighty hard to beat.

He was the reason my family and many others were customers there. 20+ years...not many dealerships are lucky enough to have loyal trustworthy employees. Unfortunately I was in a terrible car accident late 2012 and totaled my car. This January I was able to go car shopping once I was released to drive and got off my crutches. I did alot of car shopping on line and have gone to numerous dealerships. Finally I went to Richards Honda and was appointed by the sweet little angel Jessica. She was a blessing! She showed me the different cars on the lot and went over prices, because I was already afraid going to another car lot and she made my shopping experience the best experience of lifetime. The Experience Was Great ! My Salesman Did A Wonderful Job Funding The Perfect Car For My Kids And I.
Richards Honda worked with us to finally reach a deal; however, it was a miserable experience. We arrived at 11:00 and did not leave the lot with our vehicle until 5:30. We tried to do some business over the phone the day before to expedite the process, but the salesman never called back with answers to our questions regarding trade-in estimates and financing. When we arrived with our 2 year old and 10 month old, we immediately told our sales consultant we were serious about purchasing the vehicle we had already spoken to them about the previous day, and we did not want to be there all day because we had our small children with us. It took 2 hours to even begin negotiating. When that began, they added $1000 of additional fees and accessories. My husband had been told and I had been emailed the day before that price included everything and we would only be responsible for tax, title, and license. They did finally agree to remove these fees but not before complaining repeatedly about it. We left 2 1/2 hours into the process to go to lunch. While eating, we received a phone call that they were able to reach a deal they thought we would agree to. We arrived back at the lot at 2:30 and were there another 3 hours. They didn't begin to detail the car (after we arrived we found out it was actually a demo) until after all the paperwork was signed. While we waited 2 -3 hours to do our paperwork and for our car to finally be ready, the sales manager we were negotiating with before lunch walked past us multiple times and did not once stop to thank us for our business or even acknowledge our presence. Once the car was ready, our sales consultant realized there was not a full tank of gas and had us drive him a half mile down the road in 5:00 traffic to put gas in the vehicle. Then it was discovered that an inspection sticker was not put on the vehicle either. At that point, it was too late in the day to get an inspection sticker. The vehicle is also missing the washer fluid jets in the hood. It's a brand new vehicle, and I cannot understand why those are missing. We live over an hour away from the lot and now have to go to a local honda dealership to have those installed. I am happy with the vehicle and the price we negotiated, but I will never purchase a car from this dealership again. I expected much better customer service and an expedited process considering I had to entertain 2 children under the age of 3 for over 6 hours.

The worst experience ever, I would not recommed this place to anyone, from my sales person Mark Lowery to my finance person Jessica Miller, they make promises that they dont, or should i say cant keep, they put me in a vechiel in November, and in Feburary they took it back because they had not found a bank to finance me but instead of beging honest , they came up with a excuse that they could not prove my income when i had given them everything possible to prove it, and then once they finally got a approval they wanted me to come up with more money down, what a bunch of loosers!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone but I would recommend North American Auto( which is right acrosss the street) I went there on my lunch break, and 2 hours later i was riding in a better vechile with less miles!!!!

I purchased a "certified pre-owned" Honda Civic Si from this dealership in November of 2017. The sale went smooth, I was in and out with my car in no time. Fast forward a few months later and the paint on the passenger side of my front bumper had started peeling off. When I brought it to a highly reviewed body shop (Honda certified) he could tell within seconds of looking at it that the passenger side of the bumper had been previously repaired (improperly). Whomever repaired the bumper previously did not do the process properly which lead to delamination of the paint. I re pulled the Car Fax to be doubly sure and there were no records of such repairs being done to my car.I was never notified of any repairs previously done to the car when I bought it. A "certified pre owned " car supposedly undergoes a rigorous inspection and yet they didn't notice the difference in the paint on that side, but my body guy spotted it in seconds. I brought the car in to the dealership and my salesperson looked at it and took pictures which he said he'd send up to Honda to see what they'd do about it. He assured me he'd call me back the next day and update me. He never did. In fact he never returned any of my calls. I got a reply after texting the man weeks later, and he said he'd heard nothing back. I responded by voicing my disappointment and my desire to speak to someone from management. He never replied to that message. I ended up getting tired of my car looking junky and eventually got the paint fixed on my own dime. Moral of the story is that "Certified Pre Owned" cars arent all they're cracked up to be. It's likely that the repair was done as a quick fix to hurry up and offload the car which months later lead to the delamination of my cars paint and me being stuck with a severely devalued car. I was offered no help and my situation was treated indifferently. Get someone to look closely at any car you buy, or risk getting burned like I did; it doesn't matter if they supposedly did a 500 point inspection in the end they're just looking to move stock. I was sold a car under false pretenses with a cosmetic defect that would severely devalue it later on and offered no consolations.
My husband and I recently purchased a 2020 Honda CR-V. We were very fortunate to have Alvin Washington as our salesman! He went the whole 9 yards and beyond with purchasing our vehicle. After we signed our official paperwork, he went above and beyond with showing us all of the safety features, helping us set up and syncing our phones, showing us other features, putting on our temp plate, and even put on my permanent plate when I went to pick it up at the dealership the month after! He is very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful even long after the ink dried on the paperwork! I highly recommend asking for him if you re in the market for a Honda!! Everyone else we encountered there was very friendly and several congratulated us on our purchase! We have no regrets!!

My experience with Richard Honda was a nightmare. My financial paperwork got lost and they pulled my credit report twice because of their errors. I had my original paperwork but was asked to sign new paperwork with higher interest rate without being discussed or told about the change. I would not recommend this dealership to no one ever. This is definitely bad business and no one at the dealership is concerned. I reached out to general manager but he is too busy and I am just one customer to him.
Our salesman, Matthew Whiticar was amazing! My husband and I both dread car shopping but this was by far the BEST car buying experience we ve ever had. Just leased a 2015 Honda Civic Si, Mr.Carva was my salesman. Had such a wonderful experience here. Everyone was very kind and willing to help. Just purchased a car from Richards Honda. The new facility is very nice and clean. Bobby Sibley had the car I was interested in ready to test drive and was helpful throughout the car buying process. Bobby was very efficient and quick in his part of the process, but waiting on the finance department took an exceptionally long time. Waited hours before being able to meet with Finance.

Richard's Honda was very accommodating. I used the chat feature on their website to arrange to have a sales person bring the car I wanted to test drive to my office. I completed my finance application on their website. Reggie called me to tell me the best finance rate I qualified for. When I went in to finalize my purchase, I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Best car buying experience I've ever had.
