I had been prayerfully considering a trade in of my 2014 CRV. I moved from Columbus Ohio and have been here for 2.5 years. With all of the travel that I do for my job, including driving back and forth to Ohio. I needed a new vehicle, but was not sure how I would do it. I received a letter from Richards Honda at Millerville exit in Baton Rouge. I phoned the dealership and spoke with Justin. I shared with him my situation, and he was very encouraging. I decided to show up on the following Saturday. They worked out a deal that I could not even fathom, even without the letter! I knew it was God's plan in place. Justin walked me through the whole process until I drove off in my new 2019 CRV. He checked on me afterward. We had a few issues to arise after the sale, but Justin remained consistently encouraging and supportive. Just is an excellent salesman, but he is an even greater Customer Support Specialist!! I perhaps have the most candid review imaginable since I had the pleasure of working at Richards Honda for the past few months. Being absolutely green to the car sales, my sales manager as well as the general manager were kind, polite and most importantly patient to teach me the necessary knowledge to be a successful salesperson and most importantly a proud spokesman for the Honda brand.

Coming in into the industry, I had prior experience in sales, but my confidence and self-assurance was just a foundation to the demanding yet very rewarding profession of a car salesman. I think it is itself a treat to be selling Hondas since the reputation in itself is immaculate.

Salesman who spoke with us was very cocky and rude. We ended up leaving and purchased from another dealership.

Starting to get a little annoyed with this dealership. Richards Honda doesn't offer complimentary car washes....come on, how could you not offer this? Two weeks ago, I had to have my 2015 Honda CRV (bought from Richards used) towed to them because I had a flat, but was not able to have flat repaired because my salesman sold vehicle to me without the lock lug for wheels....boy what a major inconveniece! The only comp I got for this negligence on their part was a complimentary oil change worth $70 I'm told, when the cost of having to buy a new tire and new set of nuts was $167...not including my time off work.

I think the technician is not focus on what they is doing.They left alcohol in my car,my headlight pull out and my tire stems off. My what are they doing back there. After my warranty is over I will find another service provider.

Dwanda Gage....words cannot express how exemplary she is especially as a car saleswoman! I met her on September 18, 2019 during a wait for service on my then current vehicle (2016 Honda Accord EX-L). She happened to call me for a follow-up on my car as it was approaching 100K miles. We met in the waiting area while my car was being serviced and was so kind in explaining my available options with trading in my vehicle for a 2019 Honda. She took the time to share in previous car buying experiences as well. I expressed that I would like to schedule a follow-up on September 21. I decided to go a day early and am SO grateful I did. The new car purchase transaction was one that was painless. She is not over-bearing or aggressive. She is informative, insightful, and an active listener! During my time looking for an Accord 2.0 T, we did our best to search for the best price and best deal. After a couple months of online research we where ready to check out the actual cars. From the initial over night test drive they allowed to working with the super friendly Jasmine, our experience was terrific.

Worst service I have ever gotten on my life. After being told my vehicle will be ready within an hour I then waited 8 more. I'll never go back.

Our car was on it's last leg and we needed something quick. However, Steven Garic kept it real, only showing what we requested in our price range. There was no pressure at all. Wonderful experience; Madeline and Charlie exceeded my expectations in March 2018 and far surpassed the service I've received at other Honda dealers in town.
In 2014, Richards provided me with a quote on a lease, without any negotiation or haggling, that other dealers complained, "left no meat on the bone".
Now, in 2018, they again provided me with their best price the first time with a number that met my expectations after doing research online at KBB, Edmunds, etc. None of the other dealers (Toyota and Honda) that I visited in Baton Rouge the last few weeks provided me a number that was extremely reasonable and didn't require further discussion.
Will be back again!

As for me I was a first time buyer so I really didn t know much about buying a car I chose to go with Richards Honda and that was the best decision I could have made they welcomed me in as soon as I walked in their door they made me feel like I was a part of their family . My sales rep was this guy name Alex he was amazing from the time I walked In and out the door .

I have been shopping at Richards Honda for 13 years. The have a no pressure sales tactic and they will always treat you like family. Andres, sales director team is committed to making the car buying experience enjoyable. Charles, the finance manager, will always come out and greet you when he sees you. Overall, the entire staff makes you feel like family. I have bought 3 cars their and i will continue to buy from them in the future.

I spoke with the sales person B.J. advised all would be taken care of upon my arrival. Upon arrival more paperwork, which then begin a questioning session all over again. I was quoted one price and during the closing of the sale was advised an addition $300 was added for bank fees that I had no clue why this was so. By the end of the sale a 22,000 vehicle was now 28,000 Very lengthy process and misfortune. I was then advised I needed to speak with Curtis spoke with him where I felt pressured to buy extra warranty.. I declined all offers except the ones I knew were within my budget. During the completion of paperwork i signed a contingent on the financing. Well this was the worst mistake ever..30 days later the dealership calls and advises they were unable to find financing for the vehicle. Meanwhile I have already spoke with the finance company and verified all information. Well I ended up returning the vehicle and then was told have someone follow me to pick me up.. I advised I have no one I will need a ride.. This was going to be my first car loan financed. The most hurtful and deceiving process. Please Please folks make sure you DO NOT TAKE THE VECHICLE under the terms of contingent financing. Its a hoax and i have researched its the dealerships way of misleading individuals with no so great credit. Defininetly DO NOT leave down payments or trade ins with contingent financing... BEWARE!!!.

I almost forgot to mention I left something in the trunk of the car and left message for a return call.. Well of course no call.. After the sale fell through everything else did so as well...

We stayed with Honda for vehicle reliability, and returned to Richards (third car we've bought there) because of the courtesy and consideration with which we have always been treated there-- in sharp contrast to the high-pressure manipulations we have encountered at some dealerships. The atmosphere is professional throughout sales and service departments, and Gerald Connor was pleasant and knowledgeable in assisting us with the selection and purchase. Richards gets an A+ in all phases.

My initial experience at Richards Honda was a rough one. The vehicle I had made an appointment to test drive and potentially buy had been sold without my knowledge upon arrival. The dealership not only took action and swiftly reprimanded those involved, but they also apologized profusely and proceeded to work with me on getting a better deal.
They really came through and made right on their promises and quickly found a new vehicle for me offered at a great price. I would not only like to thank Richards Honda for their patience and effort, but I would also reccommend others to check out their inventory as well.

I was tricked into an extended warranty did not want for 1580 dollars and didn t realize it until I looked back at the paperwork. I was also lied to about the 1 year complementary maintenance plan that Richards Honda promises it s customers. I m very unsatisfied and will never buy a car from Richards Honda ever again.

My daughter purchased a car in October 2017 and the dealership failed to put an inspection sticker on the vehicle. Now after it has been brought to the attention of various employees btw salesperson is no longer an employee at Richard they want her to pay for her own inspecstion sticker and they reimburse her. What a sorry place; tired excuse for a business. They give car dealers a bad name. I wish there was a way to give a half star.

I went into a restaurant and when I came out, my car didn t start! Once I got my car started, I came as fast as humanly possible to Richards HONDA. While I was waiting on the service rep, the General Manager, Chris Brown, came out to introduce himself and to figure out what was wrong!
