Unfriendly concierge. Not even offering the assistant to load the luggages. In this pandemic, do not too arrogant because the customer will remember the treatment.
The deluxe room is huge, especially the bathroom with a "walk in" area, and clean. However, there are signs that the room is slightly dated. The king sized bed and pillows are really comfortable, definitely guarantees a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet can be improved in terms of presentation and quality.

A 5-star upper class hotel, with top amenities and facilities.
I like it if the service is provided as early as an experience staying at Pullman.
Please correct and provide:
A good iron board
Cleanliness is maintained
Good weight scales

Slow service at reception. Despite lots of guest queing up to check in, the hotel just have 1 staff to check in the whole lot. Imagine the que n time taken. It happened many times
Good room with reasonable price. Bad experience involving room key. Had problems with key card every single day on my 5 days 4 nights stay. I had to ask for card renewal at the receptionist because room is not accepting key card made on the previous day. Imagine you're exhausted after a whole day activity, came back to hotel and went straight to room, but the door just won't unlock and had to go down to receptionist to ask help. Really annoying.
Nobody follow up room cleaning, no bed side 3 legs sockets, dirty doors, the only good thing is the breakfast
Best place to meet up with your friends and business colleagues in Kuching. Their Cigar Lounge also good tho.
Good Hotel. Having clean, specious and contemporary designed rooms.
Breakfast is good however very negligible vegitarian option i.e. salads, Frutis and baked beans. Need to have 2-3 vegetarian cooked foods like vegetable sabji/curry.
Female sauna was not functioning and the service staff was not helpful. Bad experience and very disappointed with the sauna. However, the receptionist is helpful in changing room when the initial room's toilet clogged.
First time staying on my own. The room service was faster than expected. Staff were warm and helpful. Included in the room were two dumbbells and a fitness mat for guest - a nice surprise! Best of all, the lush comfort of the bed!
I had a Superior room; quite spacious with a king-size bed, a couch, a bathtub, a shower and a toilet with spray hose next to it. The room's view was spectacular; I think it was Gunung Ledang.
We stayed in apartment, and it was a gret value for money! Highly recommend xx

i normally make it to 9 or 10 , but this time I feel the room is OK, but
1. Toilet in lobby is not good,
2.Internet connection is poor, i have a connection less than 1Mbps, I dong know the connection from kuching is poor, or only from hotel, for me it become difficult to download my emails
3. this is my forst time I takwn sugar labeled sugar, but i get white sugar, and this is happen on my 2 days breakfast.please investigate this, I dont know some people also found teh problem or just me, in 2 days of breakfast.

Overall we were happy as the staff, especially those at the Cafe Chat were very helpful when we asked for help to buy a cake for our hosts in Kuching.
However, we have a rude surprise when we received our credit card statement at home. We are being charged for the prepaid stay at Pullman Kuching. We asked the receptionist when we checked out about the credit chit that we signed as requested. She assured us that she would destroy it. It was mistake to trust her.
This is the first time we are double charged for our prepaid stay at the Accor group of hotels. We hope this bad experience will be the last.

As a five star there is a lot to improve. A few small things that could be fix. My room the bed was not made properly... The shower... A few things broken. Breakfast menu... As a foodie... Should have chinese choices...pls improve because Pullman has the right location as a hotel and plus this is Kuching's Pullman.... As a fan... I want Pullman to be tha talk of thetown.
We were very upset about an incident that happened to us while we were at the Puzzle Restaurant on the 17th of May 2017 at about 950am. Here are the incidents that took place on that day:
1) We came down for breakfast at about 940am and we were not greeted by the staff at the counter with Good Morning but instead she said that the breakfast is ending at 10am. Which we are fully aware of and she did not even take us to a table. We felt so unwelcomed!
2) I was standing at the coffee and tea counter and saw there was no cups and coincidently, the Outlet Manager Mr Yusri was around and I asked him for a cup. My intention was not to bother the staff as we knew we were already late. Instead of coming to me and talk to me politely, he said in a raised voice that the coffee will be sent to my table. A few of the customers heard it and they looked at me. He didn t instruct any of the waiters to get the coffee but I had to personally asked from one of the waitresses.
3) Then, I went to the juices counter and saw there isn t any glasses too. So, again, Mr Yusri was there and when I asked him for a glass, he said to me that the breakfast ends at 10am that is why the glasses are not replenished. It was only 950am!
4) My husband accidently put 2 buns in the toaster and 1 of the buns didn t come out. A waitress was trying to assist my husband when suddenly Mr Yusri came and took the bun out with his bare hand and said rudely that the this toaster is not meant for buns and just walked away. He didn t even look at my husband. I think making eye-contact with the guests is a very important part of good customer service, correct me if I am wrong?
5) The waitresses didn t communicate and asked whether our plates, glasses or cups are ready to be cleared. Instead, she just collected them all. I am just wondering whether the Puzzle Restaurant s staff are properly trained in customer service?
Our conclusion:
I lodged a complaint at the front office because we felt very unhappy and was surprised to see the level of service that Pullman Kuching is portraying. It differs than what we used to see with more smiles and warm approaches. Mr Yusri definitely failed as a Manager with his attitude and behavior. I am shocked that such staff is working in a service industry! We didn t stay at Pullman Kuching for free and we definitely didn t go there to be treated with no respect!
Ms Zainab Majidi was kind enough to meet us to apologize on his behalf but Mr Yusri didn t even meet us even though he was made aware of the meeting. I am wondering what kind of training he received to be so unprofessional?
The good and bad of the hotel is on a steep slope, with poor access from the waterfront area. The road is also bad, so be careful with your feet after sunset. Because there is a taxi pool in front of Pullman, taxi movement is basically the same wherever you go. Although there is hill's of a shopping mall on the lower floor of Pullman, more than 90% are closed and it is useless. A convenience store has one bad Seven Eleven in the assortment, but it has to cross the road and it is difficult to use because it is slightly distant
stayed on lvl 9, room spacious yes, clean yes. but room only hv one power outlet,only hv one small bath foam and shampoo(3* htl hv more than this), in dining.. i was served wt rotten egg smell omelette, chck in take more than 30 minutes. so, in short, 5* htl provide 2*exp. plates hv stain mark,permanent stain
Stayed for 3 nights in deluxe twin. The room is spacious, and clean, the river and mountain view is excellent. The staffs are helpful and friendly, special thanks to Erony Tiang who ensure we, the guests are well served and taken care of during our stay. Also appreciation to Bob who remember to arrange transport for us to the airport.
I surely can tell you that they serve best mee udang, very tasty... Hope still the same chef...
Spacious room and bathroom, bathtub included, food is not excellent though.
Superb stay, staffs were friendly and helpful. One improvement is the TV in family room can be a bit bigger.
Overall stay here was great. Good Food court at basement, and every this is walking distance.

The room was of good size and set up with a nice ward robe area. The bed was comfortable but the lighting of the room was too dim. Unfortunately, the room air-condition was too cold & could not be adjusted despite changing the temperature setting.
It was good there was a hose by the toilet bowl. However, the hose water stream could not be controlled by pressing the little lever & had to be controlled only by turning the tap on the wall.
Nice pool facilities, quiet and it's also nearby the landmark seafood haunt just 5 minutes away. The hotel is connected to a small shopping center with toys are us but not much else unfortunately

The food were mostly lack of taste (Puzzle Restaurant) some of the plates are dirty (traces of food that is not washed properly). The rest are okay. Overall, not meeting my expectations from a so called 5 star hotel.

For a 5-star hotel, Pullman hotel considered ok only. They should improve on its cleanliness, I noticed the stairs to the pool and the carpet on our floor is not properly cleaned. Only on the lobby you can see everything is clean and nice. The floor of the room where we stayed is also not cleaned properly. I expect a five star hotel to be clean. However, the variety of the breakfast is good.
Last week we ve seminar at KL, Kuching and KK. The service provided from Pullman Kuching is the worst!
1) We book 10 persons airport transfer, the hotel arrange 10 person van. Expect we come in empty handed??
2) We arrive in hotel at 2pm, and the staff told me and one of my German colleague our room not ready yet, need to wait for another 1 hour.
3) While we re waiting, since my colleague is Accor Gold Member and I m Silver Member, we deserve at least a welcome drink. We requested to the staff, she ask us to wait and she walk around to do her others work. End up we wait for 1 hour and didn t get anything.
4) I call for laundry and asked for express service. After 30 mins I called back, the staff asked me to repeat again my request!
5) The furniture that prepared for our seminar is old and broken. Food for audiences not enough and the hotel staff said our audiences eat too much!
Menus are just ok. Lunch buffet was better few years ago, they might try to suit foreigners' taste eventhough locals are their main customers everytime I came. Fewer quality cakes avail compared to before. Less helpful staff nearby foods, more staff near entrance.
The best place to stay in Kuching. Easy access to the waterfront. It's new so the rooms are well equipped, clean and modern.
We had a rocky check in, most likely due to inexperienced staff. Multiple delays but once we got to the rooms, it's been an enjoyable stay. Rooms are big, bathroom is spacious, water pressure superb and good air conditioning.
Very big, nice and clean, good breakfast. But very noisy, walls are super thin (we had a door connected to another room and could hear everything from the neighbor).
Edit: we were there a second time and when asking we were given a room without connecting doors.

For Kuching standards it's one of the better hotels to stay in. Sadly it's not maintained that well so rooms can be a hit or miss
