Great buffet breakfast! Mixture of both western and asian. Lots of selection from banana berry smoothie, yogurt oats, fresh salad, omelette, sausages, dim sum, onion parathas, dhal, vegetable fritters, rendang beef, curry chicken, fried noodles, fried rice, pulut hitam desert, aka oat with coconut desert, freshly juiced fruit juice, masala tea, various kind of danishes, crossaint.
Down side: toilet bidet wasnt cleaned properly (brown stains), there is a crack line at the mug handle which they have promised to replace and did not even after reminders. Notepad was sribbled on. Phone directory and note pad has some sticky stains.
Up side: huge toilet with seperate rain shower cubicle and tub, you can practically dance inside the toilet.
Comfortable bed not too hard or soft. Floor was clean you can just walk barefooted. Not carpeted floor, good for those with sensitive nose. Thick and heavy door and cemented wall, considerably good soundproffing.

Price is affordable but the hotel is begging for maintenance. Staffs are friendly but big letdown with the cleanliness and maintenance. Took 1 day for them to decide to change my room when I told them the toilet bowl is choked and the corridors are dirty and 9th floor smells of urine

It's OK for what you're paying for. Concierge nowhere to be seen when I went to my room. Other than that, the hotel's good. Breakfast is not that good, though. Polite and courteous staff. Great bathroom, by the way. But if you're on a tight budget, I suggest trying other hotels.

Bright and tall lobby at main entrance gives an impressive air of space of the modern design furnished setup. Fair choices of food at the restaurants in the hotel. Friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Interestingly the adjunct mall is poorly maintained with hazardous broken floor tiles...be mindful.

Feel welcomed by a help from the bell boy even I came with an small car. Friendly services at the check in counter. A morning was overwhelmed by a friendly good morning wish by the housekeeping personnel. A great day to start with an enormous delicious choices during breakfast.

Thank you.

Overall good except housekeeping. Everyday there is something not done right. Example missing towels or floor mat or forgot to replace cotton buds. And most importantly, never clean the toilet basin cabinet (I powder everyday). Once they even wet the toilet paper but forgot to replace.

While the overall stay was good. It was an absolute disgrace and puzzling how Pullman management can be in being ignorant to the needs of the guest, especially when there is a major event going on.

Quite a number of your guest was taking part in the Kuching Marathon and a few needed to get up at midnight for the marathon which starts at 1am and the 21km which starts at 4am. However, the hotel is ignorant enough to organized a pool party with music blasting till 11.30pm or assign guest who needed sleep to be place in rooms away from the pool. There was no notice to the guest that a pool party will be going on.

This is an absolute disgrace for a 5 star hotel.

Understand on the need to do business, perhaps front desk and banquet management could put in more effort to coordinate or if needed to place guest running the marathon away from the pool so that they can get their rest. If not let the guest be aware of the pool party and noise that will happen to 11.30pm on that Saturday night and allow guest to request for change of room or even change hotel. That is the minimum to be a responsible hotel interested in the welfare of the guest.

Furthermore, my room was not replenished with the bath foam and shampoo, I had to call to ask for it, but that is small matter.

Thus, no matter how much effort your front line desk tried to appease the guest, this problem is solely the fault of the management of Pullman Kuching. They have to look at themselves to realize what poor judgement they had and how they have be soley responsible in creating situation where their front desk or people are at a loss to appease the guest.

nice place.. nice room..

but the most frustrating part is the paid parking.. yes, you have to pay for your parking.. it is very dissapointing..

It was a one night stay. The hotel was clean albeit the lack of facilities was a bit disappointing. Furthermore, the adjoining mall (it was Hills Point or Hill Mall) was just appalling. Hopefully the owner would do something about it, else it would do Pullman no favours.

But it is close to many authentic food outlets. That would be my plus point.

Love it
