I attended a conference here. Many of us need to stand or sit on the floor during the conference and the hotel management do nothing!

The breakfast leftover food appears in lunch buffet.

First time i need to stand or sit on the floor while attending to conference in 5 star hotel

We held an closed up private event at the Chinese Restaurant, lobby in last month- May. So we choose to stay at your hotel. That morning when we came to check-in the hotel, i requested my 5 rooms to be at same floor but the male staff directly told me don't have, that was very pretty morning, how come same floor can not be arranged as I willing to wait for that as I understand we arrived very early morning, those due out guest haven't check out, so I told him we can go out for lunch and back afternoon to check in. But he said don't have. But I told him is fine if really don't have, then I requested my room to be near lift, even not next to the lift, few rooms away also ok but he said don't have also, I can't believe that I requested 1 room to be near lift also can not find your hotel, thats ridiculous. But 15mins later my another group of colleagues come and check in but they can directly got the room which is near lift.
The male staff at last found a room for me to check in, when I went up to the room, the key card can not function, I tried many times also unable to open the room door, I seek for assistance from a housekeeper staff was on that floor, they unable to open the door too. He requested a staff from front office came up to try, they tried few times only can open, FO staff told me no problem with the lock and asked me while staying period i have to slot in few times to open the door, what is this answer to me, the door got problem should change room for me rather ask me must slot in few times to try open the door while my period of stay. I requested to change another room, I went down with my luggage look for the male staff who Checked-in for me, he told me he want to bring me up to the room and show me how to open, then I pull my luggage went up with him again but is the same problem. I told him I don't want to try and I want go change another room, then at last he ask me go down with luggage again, he very fast walk away and leave me with luggage, i immediately pull my luggage and follow him. But what is the service he has, he didn't walk with me and didn't offer the service to help me pull the luggage after let me up down twice earlier.
At last I told him I want to leave my luggage at front office and I want go out for lunch. After our lunch back it's after 4pm, but my room is still not ready. I ask them to get me any room because I need to get ready for that night our private event.
The next day after our lunch back, my lady boss who same room with me took shower then find out housekeeper didn't replace bath tower and shower gel, hair shampoo for us, I faster called and ask for that, it's took 30mins to bring over, I ask them why didn't replace after they make up the room, they told me they run out for that. But if that's the case, I think it should place a message to inform us to ask for this when we need it rather to let my lady boss halfway shower then only noticed that and keep her wait 30mins in bathroom.
Another things to highlight, I found a leftover food kept in the fridge, how come this kind of thing will happen in this hotel? It's mean that housekeeper didn't Check properly, I took a photo to show my colleague and the front office also. It's a shame for it.
During my stay I got mosquito bites during my stay while I'm sitting at the desk in the room.
I think management should improve the customer service. Especially the male staff who assist me when check-in the hotel room, his service is very bad and he shown attitude to us. I heard he is one of the duty manager at front office. I heard my colleague who base at kuching beach office, this is not the 1st time experience, many times giving him problem from this duty manager. I think management have to groom this up.

I think there is room for improvement for Pullman....

I think there is room for improvement for Pullman. The first day I came, noticed the bathroom sink was clogging. Informed front desk and got it fix the next day. I am not a buffet person, but the breakfast was really disappointing. The cups in the room were quite dirty. The towels did not smell good (I recommend using Comfort softeners ). And the rain shower knob is hard to use and gets heated up by the hot water.

The one thing I enjoyed was the view from my room (of the city). The location is quite strategic too.

Booked for other thing, but was given another thing although with free upgrade, it was not what we had initially booked for. A plate of half eaten fruits by the previous customer of the room was still outside the hallway when we arrived the room.
Fire door opposite our room had no handle. Personally I dont think this hotel deserve the number of stars they currently have. It would be better for them to reduce the stars, hence reduce the customers' expectations.

Rooms were large and comfy. Toilets were fairly clean as well. I was looking forward to using the bathtub but for the three days that we were there, there was barely enough hot water in the shower, and definitely not enough to fill a tub.

Breakfast was disappointing the first day we were there and we decided to go out for breakfast for the other days.

Also tried out the gym and would not recommend it. It was stuffy as the air conditioning was switched off and I could not find a single staff operating the gym even though it was 11am. It would be good if the hotel management could ensure that a staff is present at all times in the gym.

Hotel massage is by Mirage Spa which is located near the hotel. The massage rooms are clean and hygienic. Accor members get a discount for the massage as well.

One of the few 5 star hotels that deserves at least 4 stars. A good, central location, a beautiful swimming pool and a good restaurant make the Pullmann a place that people are happy to recommend.

Nice, cosy and very clean hotel.. location is alright.. high and strategic.. parking is ample and safe.. nice to hold meetings and functions.. access to city centre and entertainment spots are a breeze.. within walking distance..

I've stayed here every time I come over for the Rainforest World Music Festival. It's my 3rd stay. Everything was fine but nothing particularly exceptional stood out. I didn't feel that having a Le Club Accor membership changed anything.

Nothing to complain and facilities are adequate. Breakfast menu is good and probably the hot water system needs to improve. Certain rooms I stayed with low pressure. One time the sewage system was blocked.

The given room key is the same with other guest. I was given the room key and unpacking my thing in room, suddenly, another guest open the door saying the room is his. We are disappointed with such reception arrangement, it was a huge from your hotel that lead to privacy demolish.
