My Dad and I originally stopped in to Paramount Kia to see if they could help "refinance" a vehicle that he purchased (from Paramount Kia) and now I needed to buy it from him since the car is for my son.

Everyone went above and beyond to help facilitate the transaction!

At the time, I had a Kia Optima which I loved - bought it from a Kia dealership in Virginia. I expressed a little bit of interest in possibly trading in my 2013 for a new vehicle. I did not have any need to trade it in, but Julian went above and beyond to get the price reduced enough to where I would want to trade in my car.

Julian was very patient, did not apply any pressure and was very personable. He really worked to make sure we were 100% happy! Way to go Julian!

I went to this dealership yesterday knowing then I would have some negative equity from my trade. I let the sales person know ahead of time My situation and that I wanted my payment to be within a specific Price range. Knowing this ahead of time I asked the salesperson to see if they thought they could make it work with my trade and if not we could make it quick and not waste either one of our time. The salesperson gathered some info, ran my credit and Let me know that unless I had a cosigner They wouldn't be able to meet my needs with the negative equity I would carry over. The only thing I'm upset about with this situation is the fact that they never appraised my car so I'm a little confused at how they assessed my current car situation. I was greeted immediately as I walked into the dealership by several sales people so There is no doubt that they may have been a good fit For my car buying experience.

I have had my fair share of car dealership experie...

I have had my fair share of car dealership experiences over the years. The loooong wait to sign a billion documents to finally bring home the vehicle you have picked out and researched and test driven is very annoying. Paramount Kia gave me a pleasant surprise when the time came to negotiate and sign on the dotted lines. It was from start to finish, the quickest, most pleasant experience buying a vehicle I have ever had. Justin was very knowledgeable and helped me find the vehicle I had researched online in less than 5 minutes. From the time my wife and I arrived, to the time we left in the Sportage we picked out was about 2 1/2 hours. I enjoyed my time not being wasted and the Sportage was even better than I had hoped it would be! Two thumbs way up!!

Went here today to see about trading in my current car for something better and had the worst luck ever! I guess you gotta have perfect credit to come here! My thing is how do you expect someone to have good credit when they are trying to make their first major purchase?! Also, they wanted me to put the car in someone else's name (my stepdad). My step dad will NEVER do something like this so if I say he went do something quit asking! So I will never come back here again!

Justin and Colton really went the extra mile for me. They made me feel comfortable and safe in the middle of a pandemic. This took some extra work on their part, but they were still very fast and efficient. They helped me find a car I love that is still within my budget. I would recommend Paramount Kia of Hickory.

Colton and Eli are liars! They did my dad wrong and WE LL never make another purchase from any Paramount company. They also told me that there was nothing wrong with my 2016 Kia Optima when there is clearly something wrong with it when I always lose heat after my car gets to operating temperature. This is the worst company to buy a car from!

For transparency sake, I will say I did not buy a car although that may still change. I've been to many dealerships from Dodge/Chrysler/Ram to Toyota to Honda to Chevy and I will say that this dealership is the most stress free experience I've ever had and that says alot.

After test driving the Forte, we sat down and worked on some numbers. The sales manager came out right away and showed us the initial numbers. There was no back and forth like nearly all other dealerships where the sales person talks with you for 10-15 mins and then goes to bring in the sales manager and then the manager goes away only to come back 10-15 mins later. There was very little pressure which made the experience so pleasant. It's was to the point where I almost got the car because I liked the experience so much.

In the end, I am still contemplating on if I want the Forte or not but that's neither here nor there. As far as dealership experiences goes from a potential buyer's standpoint, it was as good as it gets.

I went to Paramount Kia and receive the best service I ever had dealing with a dealership . I went in with hopes of talking with Tim who I had been speaking with online. Instead I received Caleb Motley due to Tim having another customer. Caleb was so efficient and asked what I was looking for and I told him and he did just what I asked and got straight to the point he did not waste my time and the car that I looked for online he had it out and test drove in a matter of minutes. The service was quick and the staff in all areas including the financial department, auto mechanic department, and my personal helper Caleb were all nice and very helpful and quick to reach my needs. I would definitely recommend them to family, friends and whomever else is interested in a vehicle. Thanks Caleb Motley and Tim and everyone at Paramount Kia of Hickory!!

I will warn everyone not to buy from this place. I have had nothing but problems and Kia has not stood behind there products. I have been cursed by a salesman and have had many issues with the quality of my car. I hope they do not continue to screw people over like they have me. I will be more than glad to let anyone know what all I have had to go through.

Went looking to purchase a vehicle today....spent a good 20 min outside looking and no one approached. So went inside and wasted an hour trying to get someone to help me. Three gentlemen sitting at their desks staring at me, one leaning against the wall looking out the door and several others walking right past me not offering service.
I work in customer service and this was by far the worst customer service I have ever seen. I will take my business elsewhere.

Duped me into leasing an Optima. Was a good car (only reason they're getting 2 stars from me), but their service is terrible. They don't care about anyone that isn't giving them money buying a new car. This marks the 2nd day I've tried to bring them my car so I can terminate the lease and after 4 HOURS of waiting (the group of employees hanging out in one office while they told us they were "slammed" said it would take an hour) told us they couldn't do the simple once over check on my car. This was also after we called ahead to see if we could go through the process today (the drive is about 40 minutes both ways), and they said to bring it on up. Will not ever lease a car again, nor would I attempt to do business with this place.

John Arrowwood was amazing and awesome to work with when we bought our 2019 KIA Sorrento . We plan to go back to him and get the KIA hybrid as soon as we can. He went above and beyond the call of duty great customer service before and after the purchase.

I was in Paramount Kia this past week just to have a look around. I knew I needed a new car but was nervous about the whole sales pressure thing. I was pleasantly surprised when Chris Gallegos took the time to answer all my questions. I felt no pressure. He felt like he was just a friend having a helpful conversation. While I m still getting my financing together, I will most definitely go back to Chris to finish up my deal.

!! My wife and I came to Paramount because we looked on the internet and felt you had the best selection of used cars. We felt we could find a car that would meet our needs. Michael Griffin helped us pick a car that would meet that. He knew his cars and helped pick a Kia Soul for our next car and I have been very happy with the car we picked. This Dealership is possibly the worse new car deal...

This Dealership is possibly the worse new car dealership to ever do business with. I purchased the car in October 2016, since then it's been a constant battle. A spare tire was suppose to be included in our purchase it took call after call and visit after visit to get the tire. They finally delivered the tire today which is June 5, 2017. It was suppose to be installed however the older gentlemen who delivered the tire was made unaware of that so that's been Chalked up to just another thing I have to do. The day we purchased the car it was raining so the lying salesman Tim Whitner said that if we brought the car back for the first oil change they would do a full detail. After several visits this still never happened. Even when they kept the car for a week to check the transmission they never washed it. This last trip we went up which was for the tire (which we didn't get until today and the detail which never happened) was awful. Aaron lied and told us they had no more spare tires at the deliver ship, funny thing is I called corporate and magically one appeared, go figure! Marsha the customer service rep that reached out to us first when I continued to bring up these issues and the problems with the transmission assured me all of it would be take care of but Tim was a good Christian man and I should take that into consideration. First and foremost his religious background means nothing to me. And if he was such a honest Christian man we wouldn't have had to battle for the spare since October and it finally gets resolved today. Meanwhile I'm still driving a Kia Optima with a bad transmission. It literally sounds like a rubber band winding up. This has been the worse purchase we could have ever bought. I am literally to the point that I have contacted a business to make signs to go on both sides of this vehicle stating where it was bought and everything that is wrong with it and how terrible this dealership is. This car is a LEMON!!!!!! I wish I would have never purchased a car from this dealership.

Found the vehicle which interested us online. Chatted online then we talked on the phone with Caleb. When we came to the dealership he had the vehicle we talked about ready for us to look at and a test drive. He not only showed us the obvious features of the vehicle but also many more which could not be seen. Wife and I were very pleased with his knowledge of the vehicle. The process of a getting a value of our trade in was pleasantly swift and the financing was better and easier than anticipated. We have had our Sorento three days at this writing and we don't have any regret of our purchase.

I bought my first car at Paramount Kia yesterday. My salesman Jac Chambers was very friendly and not pushy at all. The manager was willing to work with me on the things we needed. The finance manager was able to get me a fair interest rate and a joy to work with. Overall things went much better than expected and would not hesitate to go back next time we need new wheels.

Being in the market for a new car, I checked on line for an SUV. I found that the Kia Soul was one of the most top rated SUVs by Consumer Reports. I went to Paramount Kia in Hickory, NC and was met by a salesman, Tim Whitener, who was such a pleasant man to work with. I ended up test driving the Soul and immediately fell in love with it. Tim Whitener was so knowledgeable and explained everything about the vehicle and how to use the controls. I highly recommend buying your next vehicle from Tim at Paramount Kia.

Even though I had a very strict budget, Justin Roepel didn't treat me any differently than someone who could spend five times as much. I knew I wanted to buy a used Kia thanks to the brand's reliability, fuel economy, and overall quality, and I was specifically interested in a Kia Soul, but unsure if I'd be able to find one in my budget. So even though I was open to any Kia model, when I saw the Kia Soul (which I eventually bought thanks to it being in my price range) and took it for a test drive, I was a goner. There was no other car for me. During the entire process, Justin was personable, friendly, and extremely helpful. He even put up with my goofy dad, which is amazing. There were no high pressure tactics, no tricks used to make me feel if I didn't buy, I'd be missing out. Basically, it was the most pleasant car buying transaction I've ever been through--highly recommended!

She was extremely kind and informative about the process. I was overall satisfied with their services but should also mention that I ended up paying more than I originally planned to. My experience at Paramount Kia was excellent. All the employees that I encountered were very friendly and professional. Melissa, the sales lady that sold the car to me, went above and beyond. She has called me several times since to see how I liked my car and to remind me about the oil change. Tim, the gentleman that worked on getting the car financed, was excellent and actually obtained an interest rate better than I expected. I would definitely and have encouraged others to come Paramount Kia to buy a car. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

Overall a good experience. Our salesman David was great! He worked hard to get us something nice within our budget. We did have to do some haggling to get to the price which stressed my wife out a bit but all in all, we are very happy with the car and would do business with David again! Also thanks to Holly who called us the very next day to make sure we were satisfied with our experience and purchase.

This review is regarding the service center. Since purchasing my Optima, I ve been having my cars oil changed here. They are always very friendly and you receive an overall inspection of your car to see if you need the tires rotated, filters changed, etc. they also offer a free shuttle to various places in hickory if you do not wish to wait in the lobby area. I used the shuttle to go to the mall and it worked it very nicely. The shuttle driver was a sweet retired man who was very polite and timely.

Looking back, I also had a good experience when purchasing my Kia. Everything went smoothly and I love my car. However, my car did not have a service manual when I purchased it. The salesman promised he would order one for the car and get back to me. But after checking with him several times, he never followed through.

Chris Gallegos is a great salesman to talk with about a new car. I have had Chris do some research for me before concerning some models Paramount had in stock. He was efficient and very cordial. Also as a pastor I hear that Paramount is a strong faith based company also. Such things impact my decisions when doing business.

This visit was for an oil change, tire rotation and transmission computer reflash. Staff were very attentive and the wait wasn't too long. The waiting area was comfortable enough and coffee and snacks we're provided. They also make follow up calls to make sure you're happy.

My elderly mother who lives in Hickory was in a car wreck the beginning of December. I came from Ohio to pick her up and bring her here for the holidays. She was here for a month. During which Itime I was car shopping online. I called and dealt with at least 15 other used car dealerships and/or car salesmen. A friend of my mother s recommended Paramount Kia. I spoke with Randy Rosenbalm. I explained my situation. From that moment, he went above and beyond finding my Mom a SAFE and RELIABLE car. He was even was going to help me on his day off. I m telling anyone who lives in North Carolina, do not car shop anywhere else except at Paramount Kia. Even if your not looking for a Kia, he can find you what your looking for at other Paramount car dealerships. It is so nice to know there are still people like Randy in this world. Stop by Paramount Kia as the 1st stop of my car buying day and meet Pete Bailey the salesman . Pete really was attentive to what I was looking for in a car. My orginal car was in Deep Sea Blue and this one I looked at and drove, BUT after seeing the Gravity Gray, I was set on the color. More work was involved for this car because of coarse the auto was sitting on the 3rd row back. Pete saw no trouble in moving the cars to get to the one I wanted to see, drove this one , basically the same car, parked it beside the 1st one that was blue and the look side by side helped make up my mind. We are now a 3 Kia family, still have the 1st one I bought, a 2008 Sprecta, still drove by my daughter daily. I would like to thank Pete and the rest of the Paramount team for a nice day at buying a car. Oh yea, didnt get to the 2nd stop to see cars!!!

I had a great time purchasing my new Kia from Paramount. The sales staff was friendly, professional, and concerned about getting me the car I wanted. I got a good amount for my trade in, and a GREAT price on the new car. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used or new car. They even stayed 2 hours past closing to finish up our purchase. Ask for Kris Stephens when you go to look, he will help you out.

Cathy truly worked very hard in coming up with a great deal my wife and I agreed on. In addition she went above the call of duty in being patient with us as we traveled to your dealership from out of state. The process was very quick, straight to the point and we experienced hassle free service. Being that we are from out of state but not to far from your dealership, I hope in the future we can look you guys up again when we in need of a new vehicle, as well in socially advertising your company with family and friends.
