Easy logistics for eating prior to the show, parking, and everything once inside. I have been to shows on both the orchestra level and grand tier and don't think there is a bad seat in those areas. All my interactions with the staff have been very friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful venue; comfortable seating and very well maintained! Designed to have great viewing of performances regardless of assigned seating. Definitely deserves a 5-Star rating with two thumbs up!

We visited for the Dave Ramsey Smart Money Tour and the Arts Center was awesome. The facility was clean and we had no complaints. The seating was comfortable and the place was nice a cool during the summer.

Went to this venue and was able to get seats on the 3rd floor. Bad idea to pay that much. The acoustics are terrible and I am not bragging but have been to other venues in the US as well as abroad like Sydney or Lima, we left after the intermission because we found that the play was not funny and was politically charged but the worse part was not being able to hear well the dialog. Maybe it was funny but the laughter from the people below us would muffle the next sentence and had to guess what came before the next punchline. Willing to give this place a second chance because maybe someone forgot to turn on the speakers up there. One thing for sure will have to pay premium to be closer to the stage. Whoever is in charge never had to seat up there DURING a performance with dozens of people around. The laughter came mostly from below so it wasn't us only and that alone makes me think it wasn't us but a poorly design venue. The place needs an upgraded sound system with all the extra money they get. No a bad seats in the house? previous posters don't have an idea how bad it can get up there, no wonder why only half or less of the seats were occupied while everything else was at capacity, don't waste your money, go to a movie and save some for the next orchestra level for a better experience. Durham is not the most visitor friendly city to drive and find a place to park but that is a different post.

Great venue for concerts! Not a bad seat in the whole place. Plenty of restrooms. Good beverage and snack selection. We go when there is a great oldie group performing. Also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful venue for shows. Good parking nearby, can get in quickly and easily, drinks and light snacks are available, plenty of restrooms, and the theater auditorium itself is nice and comfortable.

The theater is great. As far as I can see there is a clear view of the stage from even the cheap seats. My wife and I became season ticket holders for this upcoming season and we couldn't be happier.

DPAC is an absolutely beautiful Performing Arts Center. There really is no bad seat in the entire theater. The staff gives customer service that you don't see anymore. From the moment you park to the moment you said you are number one on their list of care. I've seen five or six shows there and I have three more in the next month and a half. I've not been good about leaving my house much since I'm not in very good health but the parking for handicapped, and the general way they treat their patrons have made me start to get out of my house again and see shows and concerts. If you've not seen anything at DPAC please take my suggestion and go see at least one. Next thing you know you'll be seeing your 10th show. They are that good. Highest rating that can be given!

Amazing local performance hall. Easy to access from multiple major roadways, quick access to American tobacco with tons of choices for food and drink. DPAC seems to attract the best shows in the area.

Love it! And for my fellow ladies, there is another women's bathroom tucked into the right hand corner if you are facing the doors to enter the theater seating upstairs. It's still busy, but it comes in handy when everyone congregates at the main one.

Wonderful shows. Really well done music, sets, costumes. Wow! My only complaint is the cost is way outside of an average family's budget. Very special night out. But the average family of four can't drop $300 for a night out.

Very nice facilities, easy to get in and out, parking nearby comfortable seats, good acoustics, large stage but still feels intimate. Sufficient bathrooms. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. They thank you for coming on the way out with bright smiling faces.
