Great place to see a show. Good parking options. Great staff.
Great, moderate sized venue. Excellent shows. Wonderful staff.
Very well put together. . nice and clean and the accommodations are on point
Easy logistics for eating prior to the show, parking, and everything once inside. I have been to shows on both the orchestra level and grand tier and don't think there is a bad seat in those areas. All my interactions with the staff have been very friendly and helpful.
Very beautiful venue; comfortable seating and very well maintained! Designed to have great viewing of performances regardless of assigned seating. Definitely deserves a 5-Star rating with two thumbs up!
We visited for the Dave Ramsey Smart Money Tour and the Arts Center was awesome. The facility was clean and we had no complaints. The seating was comfortable and the place was nice a cool during the summer.
Very lovely theater with helpful staff. Enjoyed my visit.
Such a great venue! Can't be many bad seats in the entire place. Great acoustics and sight lines.
Went to this venue and was able to get seats on the 3rd floor. Bad idea to pay that much. The acoustics are terrible and I am not bragging but have been to other venues in the US as well as abroad like Sydney or Lima, we left after the intermission because we found that the play was not funny and was politically charged but the worse part was not being able to hear well the dialog. Maybe it was funny but the laughter from the people below us would muffle the next sentence and had to guess what came before the next punchline. Willing to give this place a second chance because maybe someone forgot to turn on the speakers up there. One thing for sure will have to pay premium to be closer to the stage. Whoever is in charge never had to seat up there DURING a performance with dozens of people around. The laughter came mostly from below so it wasn't us only and that alone makes me think it wasn't us but a poorly design venue. The place needs an upgraded sound system with all the extra money they get. No a bad seats in the house? previous posters don't have an idea how bad it can get up there, no wonder why only half or less of the seats were occupied while everything else was at capacity, don't waste your money, go to a movie and save some for the next orchestra level for a better experience. Durham is not the most visitor friendly city to drive and find a place to park but that is a different post.
I saw Aziz Ansari and Wil Sylvince. It was very wonderful
Great venue for concerts! Not a bad seat in the whole place. Plenty of restrooms. Good beverage and snack selection. We go when there is a great oldie group performing. Also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.
Really nice venue. Sitting is. Very comfortable. Easy access from parking deck.
Wonderful venue for shows. Good parking nearby, can get in quickly and easily, drinks and light snacks are available, plenty of restrooms, and the theater auditorium itself is nice and comfortable.
From Widespread to comedy to kids shows, this is the best venue in the triangle.
I don't know the words to best describe. Something that means better than the best. Would have given 5 stars if I had gotten tickets closer to the stage. Eyesight not like 20/20.
We really enjoyng going to performances here. Never disappoints and Hamilton was great.
The theater is great. As far as I can see there is a clear view of the stage from even the cheap seats. My wife and I became season ticket holders for this upcoming season and we couldn't be happier.
I just saw Rent, it was so good. Everyone did a great job 10/10
The DPAC is such a clean, friendly facility with great sound and a view.
Great place nice place really cool place its good, pretty good. I lost my shoe and someone helped me find it... im pretty sure this was the place
I don't really have to rate DPAC....it is simply the BEST place to see shows in the NC! From the excitement when you first arrive to the energy and buzz when you leave! If you are thinking about going to DPAC, think no more. You will never regret your decision. Start planning today!
Great space with lots of accessie parking and friendly staff. Venue also has nice selection of drinks and snacks as well as lots of good restaurants within walking distance.
The Play was Awesome, started on time. The Attendants were friendly and Professional.
Wife and I decided to purchase season tickets for the Broadway Series. Great venue, easy to get to and away from, excellent sight lines. We look forward to some great productions!
We saw the hip hop nutcracker here and the show was great.
Wonderful Performance of The King and I! Poor service for people with disabilities. Only 2 very small elevators!
DPAC is an absolutely beautiful Performing Arts Center. There really is no bad seat in the entire theater. The staff gives customer service that you don't see anymore. From the moment you park to the moment you said you are number one on their list of care. I've seen five or six shows there and I have three more in the next month and a half. I've not been good about leaving my house much since I'm not in very good health but the parking for handicapped, and the general way they treat their patrons have made me start to get out of my house again and see shows and concerts. If you've not seen anything at DPAC please take my suggestion and go see at least one. Next thing you know you'll be seeing your 10th show. They are that good. Highest rating that can be given!
Great venue. Seats are comfortable and really well layed out.
Lots of fun things and lots of pokestops and pokegyms!
Absolutely love this performing arts center. The staff hospitality is wonderful and the facilities are fantastic.
Love to go to dpac. Plenty of interesting restaurants nearby.
All of the greeters were professional and friendly. I felt like I received VIP treatment from when I entered to when I left.
gorgeous. Lots of parking. Love the balconies. Decent concessions. Though the seats are a little hard.
Great place to see a Broadway show, play, or concert. Plenty of great places to eat around DPAC as well.
I give it 5 stars because it really is a nice place. I have sat in the back a couple of times, and for some of us, hard to see.
The shows are awesome.
Best performance venue in area- great shows, helpful staff, clean bathrooms, comfortable seats.
Beautiful surroundings set the tone for performance. Staff outgoing, cheerful and helpful. Great night.
Very nice venue, good seating that is comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, excellent sound system
Nice venue with a great Broadway season. Recently remodeled-looks very nice, but the seats feel tighter.
Outstanding staff, very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well run.
Wonderful venue. Employees very helpful. Parking for VIP was very convenient.
Absolutely fabulous! Love this place. Take the family for a great time, or take the wife for a night she will remember and appreciate.
Went to see Cats, it smelled better than I thought it would with that many felines.
Amazing local performance hall. Easy to access from multiple major roadways, quick access to American tobacco with tons of choices for food and drink. DPAC seems to attract the best shows in the area.
Great facility. I think they need to do better with security (search or metal detector for weapons)
All seats are great sound is always great love the shows that come to town
The show we saw was sold out so we were there early to park. The venue is just great!
Love it! And for my fellow ladies, there is another women's bathroom tucked into the right hand corner if you are facing the doors to enter the theater seating upstairs. It's still busy, but it comes in handy when everyone congregates at the main one.
Took some teen girls to watch Bring It Live Dance Battle. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The facility was comfortable and clean.
Our first visit and it was awesome. Very clean and staff very kind
Aside from the quality productions, i really must say that the friendly nature of the staff who greet you and assist with directions and seating are very professional.
We love to watch performances at DPAC. All the seats have great view. I also like the location. There are nice restaurants close by, which you can eat before the show.
It's a great venue. And staff is usually cool with jam bands special type of crowd
Saw the Game Grumps live event here, the seats are nice and you have decent leg room. The food is a bit pricey but for an event it seems normal.
Wonderful shows. Really well done music, sets, costumes. Wow! My only complaint is the cost is way outside of an average family's budget. Very special night out. But the average family of four can't drop $300 for a night out.
Very nice facilities, easy to get in and out, parking nearby comfortable seats, good acoustics, large stage but still feels intimate. Sufficient bathrooms. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. They thank you for coming on the way out with bright smiling faces.
Brilliant venue. Great sight lines, well mixed sound, helpful staff, comfortable seats, and always has a performance line up STACKED with the best shows from lots of genres. HIGHLY recommended.
Great venue. Went to Raleigh for our anniversary. Found out Lyle Lovett was performing there and decided to go. Was a good evening.
We have been here sooooo many times, and every time has been great
