Pacific States Leasing Review

My husband and I have used this company twice to lease equipment for our logging company and both times it has been a nightmare. They have the most incompetent people in customer service that we have ever had to deal with. Just today they emailed us information we requested, but instead of being for our logging business in Oregon, they sent us information for a pizza place in New York. This is just an example of the many moronic mistakes we have had to deal with since we signed our first contract with them over a year ago. We highly recommend you DO NOT USE this company for any of your leasing needs!

This company has nothing but incompetent employees. I have been getting calls for literally months on a daily basis. Funny story, I have no business with them. I've told them countless times they have the wrong number... and still they call. If I could give them zero stars or negative I would. If they call me tomorrow... I will be calling an attorney. This is a work phone. Get your you know what together people!! I'm done!!!

We have done business with this company for over nine years. Steve has always been effective and efficient with everything that we have needed. we have purchased vehicles and equipment from Chicago to South Carolina. They always have our loan together when we need it and we are able to purchase our vehicles and equipment and a very timely manner. We have always had nothing but a good experience with this company

They grossly overcharged us on fees. They make it seem as though it is better to do a lump fee instead of interest. If you are late by even a few days, they snowball you with fees. This place is a scam!

They call alllll the time!!!! Super annoying I don t want your service stop calling!

Predatory!!! They say no penalty for early payoff but when you want to pay off early they charge all of the finance fees anyway. Also started debiting our account for insurance. Will never use for anything. Read the fine print

No matter how many times you call or email you will not get a call back. If you are an hour late making a payment you better believe they will blow up your phone. My biggest issue I am having is I paid my account in full, received the title, and a pay off letter and these unprofessional group of people are still billing me and reporting that I am not making my truck payment. Please someone needs to shut this place of business down!!

Just warn you do not finance any think with this guys , they will charge you 80% interest "SCAMMERS"

Wish I had looked at the reviews for this sorry excuse of a company before being in the same nightmare as everyone else.

No willingness to work with you on anything, screwed up payments & deny taking payments when my bank shows otherwise, not to mention charging 5 times of the cost of the equipment to finance it.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I even talked to these people. They are horrible. I know small businesses get in situations where the think they absolutely need to buy a piece of equipment that will make them a good profit and you agree to an outrageous interest loan thinking you can pay that loan early and avoid paying the high interest well it doesn't work that way with these people. These people are thieves.

Honestly I would never recommend this company/bank. I was a new business and put my trust into this company to help me start my business and the smooth talker Steve who made everything sound great just put me into a (financial pacific pickle) I should have read the fine print but they got me into what s called a equipment finance agreement) so on a $50,000 dollar loan I m paying $100,000 over a course of 5 years and not to mention they have charged me with 5 late fees which are at least $450 dollars if I am one day late. I use bill pay online so all my bills that are sent take 10 business days to get to the banks I pay bills to, I am aware that I have to send them 10 days early but if the bill pay takes a day longer they charge me fully for my late fee no if, ands, or buts about it. I have never had a problem with any other bank but this bank. There is no slack given with this company, they are all about themselves and money and not about the customer. Please do not get yourself into an agreement with this company for your own sake. I have no reason to lie I am not a competitor nor ex employee I am just trying to save anyone from making the mistake I made. Great company s are farmers national bank, Huntington, bank of the west, ally, cardinal credit union (my favorite) (out of mentor,oh) cardinal is phenomenal.

Worst people to lease with. They harassed my pregnant wife over and over for a payment to a contract that no longer existed because one of their bankers made a mistake. They stole our down payment and try ruin my wife s credit. Contract didn t have interest and they still charge the payments with interest. Do not! And I mean it do not conduct business with these people.

I have a equipment lease with financial Pacific because of hurricane Irma I was having a hard time with my payments I called and talked to the staff there they helped me so much.thank you to the staff there

We have been with this company for a while now, its end of year tax time and we needed some info on loan for our cpa. their invoices are very vague and give no breakdown of loan beginning to current. When we called to get the info we needed to give to our cpa we were met with a VERY RUDE AND DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE NAMED LYNN. Very short and clipped in her response, telling us that she knows what we need , when we haven't even told her what we needed yet.
She chastised us like we were 3 years old, and before hanging up on me she said " I hope you have a better day and attitude". She never faxed over, or emailed over, the documents we requested for our CPA as she said she would.
THIS COMPANY IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE FRIENDLY COMPANY I have ever dealt with in my 30+ years of being a business owner. Once the loan is paid off, I WILL NEVER DO BUISNESS WITH THEM AGAIN. When I called and spoke with a supervisor about her behavior with me and my office manager on the phone, the supervisors response was " I was sitting right next to her, she was not rude at all."

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO "NOT" DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Not only are there NO CONTRACTS TO BE SENT OUT TO YOU AS A CUSTOMER, THEIR INVOICES ARE VERY SCETHCY. SIMPLY GIVES YOU YOUR PAYMENT DUE DATE AND AMOUNT, NO BREAKDOWN OF ANYTHING.
I will be contacting the BBB and filling a complaint against this company for POOR BUSINESS ETHICS.

Consistently we have to call them and REMIND THEM to send out a invoice so that we can make our payment. NO INVOICE NO PAYMENT.

A one star review is being generous to these rude folks. I ended up getting them from a broker by financing a truck. The documentation was provided at the last second, but I accepted that since time was of the essence. I called for the very first time ever to ask questions about my continuing drafted payment and the robot on the other line would not commit to say anything to "that's what's on your contract". Whoever trained them to speak to paying customers this way should be fired. The next person I get transferred to, per my request to be transferred, says she heard the convo with the other robot and there was nothing wrong with the way she answered. I explained this just added to the 1 star review they earned and she claimed those reviews are from the brokers they deal with and not theirs. BS. A negative 1 star is what they should get but obviously that can't be done here. Not the best in the business. Seek other ways to financing a company other than these rude folks.

Poor customer service, trying to get a payoff amount takes days for a return call. Terms and payoff amounts are not clearly outlined in contract posted on this website. Will never use this company again when purchasing equipment.

THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY EVER! We made our payments on time for years using auto pay with FPL. Our bank account had fraud committed on it and we had to change to a new account. This in turn stopped the ACH we had with FPL. Our CFO called numerous times to get a new ACH set up on our new account with nothing but broken promises from FPL to do so. To date they still have not gotten our account back to ACH and now they will not send us a current balance so we can pay it off. They continue to charge us late charges because they will not put our account back to auto pay. Finally, I reported our issue to the BBB and all FPL does is keep responding with promises to contact us or send us our account balance via regular mail that never happens. As long as they respond to us, even with lies, this keeps their A+ rating with BBB. Nothing ever gets resolved. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Know what you are getting into before blindly signing a contract. Most issues result from 3rd party originators not being honest or truth worthy regarding the insurance requirements or interim rent payments. Yes they are a big company with over 1,000 employees, so if you don't have a direct point of contact it can be difficult getting a hold of someone. I would always recommend reaching out to initial person you spoke with when confirming your lease/finance as well as any vendor or 3rd party that you worked with. These contacts most certainly will be able route your call. Don't let your insurance lapse, and if it does, send it in to the email address/fax number on the documents as soon as soon as possible. If I could give 0 stars I would. They are financial criminals. BE CAREFUL DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!if you need financially help with your business this isn t the company to used they will treat you badly charge tones fee. I was new to the business and didnt really understand wth i was getting into.. They dont offer true financing only a predatory lease because the interest you end up paying is so high that its against most state laws.. Bought a truck for 25k and in the end my total payments ended up being 36k. thats over 50% in terms of interest especially predatory for a credit score of 675..in the end it doesn't help at all because you don't get interest to write off and they don't report to any business credit agencies of course unless you default.. Penske truck sales should be ashamed to be affiliated with such scam

Just read the other reviewers. Go any where else you can find for financing. I'm not really sure how they have avoided being labeled a "predatory lender." Almost 4k to defer my payments during covid 19.

I got referred to these guys and set up with a lease through southern California leasing both companies are shady I would never do business with them going forward I learn my lesson. Hopefully someone reads a review like this before and doesn t make the same mistake I did. I specifically asked what the terms of the loan were what the payoff was and if they front load all the interest. Guess what! They do! They will lie to you to get you to do the lease. Go to a local bank and save yourself a lot of time and headache. I have excellent credit I could have gotten a loan anywhere. I came here only because of Southern California leasing. One star and thumbs down.

This is absolutely the worst financial institution. Absolute CROOKS! We were told 12.5% interest and come to find out its 25.5% interest. They tell you it's not interest. Worst customer service in the world! Nicole Cleveland was rude, did not know who was responsible for the lease. Failed to suspend a auto draft when she knew the date the check was to arrive and after drafting the payment on a paid in full account, required more paperwork to pay back the money they never should have taken in the first place. I spoke with another CSR and they were just as bad. Poor customer service must be in their training manual! Never again FINPAC!

I must be lucky?? I ve been a customer of FP for 3-4 years now, I financed a utility truck with them. Being self employed and in construction I ve been late more times on my payment than I d like. Not once have they been rude, demanding, or anything like the previous reviews have stated. I find them very understanding and easy to deal with, in fact I m looking at getting another truck soon and will definitely give them first shot at another loan.

Anyone who is foolish to attemps to get a loan from them "Dont Do it " i made a mistake with them. all smooth talk, calls late nite for payment when payments were already arranged. Anyone going through the trouble with them your more welcome to share your situation with me to help you.

LOAN SHARKS!!!!!!!!! LOOOAAANN SHAAAARRRKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people must be immune from the law. If I could give negative 1 million stars I would. Here is my experience. I bought a used truck from UHaul. I wanted to close the deal quickly but I did not have the full 10k at the moment. So I applied for financing through U-Haul's company, Alliance Leasing. They sold the loan to FPL without my knowledge. I informed them I was going to pay it off in a few months, would that be OK? "Oh, sure, no prepayment penalties." So now I am making payments to FPL, who is that? I go online and begin to mess myself after reading the FPL reviews. So I call them and ask for an amortization sheet. "Well, this isn't a regular loan. All the interest is charged up front." So I asked the girl, if I had the money for 1 week, I would pay the $5k in interest just the same as if I had the money for the 5 year term. "Well, we could give you $1,000 if you pay earlier." This can't be legal. I never agreed to pay all the interest up front. THEY CHARGE ALL THE INTEREST UP FRONT, NOT FOR THE TIME YOU USE IT. Call your uncle or anybody but FPL. Someone's gotta stop 'em.

They allowed me to make payments on the 30th of the month for over a year before I discovered that I was being charged an insane late fee because payments "are always due on the 5th". They never answer their customer service line but three representatives will call you if your payment is late. They are predatory in the way the creditors exist in a malaise of pretend incompetence. My experience with them is so poor I think bankruptcy might just be a better route on my unsecured debt.

Zero is too high, but I needed to choose 1 so it would post. Easily the least responsive company ever. They never do what they say and ignoring people is their policy. STAY AWAY!

This is more than a finance company. They care about you as a person. I have been leasing equipment from this company for almost 4 years now. In that time I have encountered two major financial hardships. Both times they have worked with me allowing me to pay when I could and waived late fees. They have always been kind, caring, and respectful people when I have spoken to them on the phone. They never made me feel bad for missing payments. During this whole COVID pandemic my business was hit hard. I had to close temporarily and Financial Pacific Leasing let me defer my payments. That was the biggest blessing. It allowed me to catch up financially and now I am back on track. If you need to lease anything I highly recommend this company!

Can't follow directions and when they overdraw your account will not make good on their error! Not a company to do business with.

I wish I could give them a negative 5 rating. They are god awful!! All stay away. VERY Rude, won't let you SELL the equipment until leasing loan paid off for all months, all interest charges of over 60 months! Out of this world interest and fees horrible! Tens of thousands of dollars. Total ripoff. Who would ever have to pay $85,000 for $34,000 truck? CRAZY

Not a 1 for sure - way below 0. So sorry that I ever got involved with this company! Take my word for it. Stay far away! They are evil! They hook you and then take everything away from you. Leased equipment through them for my small business. They tripled what the equipment was worth with all their fees and interests. They called me constantly if I was one day late with my extremely high monthly payment and rudely nagged me screaming at me on the phone. Arlene and Christa would scream and argue with me and my fiance on the phone constantly. Jim Hennessey actually was the worst! He treated me like dirt screaming and so rude to me and had no remorse at all that he was treating a lady like that! They are mean and don't care if they hurt people! Finally got to a point where I made an extremely high payoff, which put me in unbelievable debt that I will be paying for the next 5 years. I don't see how these people can sleep at night the way they treat people. I went to a lawyer and he said there was nothing I could do. This company needs to be shut down because every person that uses them ends up getting ruined! They ruined my life!!!!!!!!!! The owner of this company must have no conscious at all the way he is putting people in debt and ruining their lives! He is probably smirking and living it up on my money that I saved for my retirement!

terrible place to do financing, bought a truck for 24k, i had a four year agreement. ive put 11k in payments and my payoff quote was somehow 22 thousand. Dont do business with them.

Terrible company and predatory lending. I borrowed $15k to buy a bobcat. 2 months later I tried to pay off the loan and it is currently 23k. I agreed to an 18% interest rate knowing I would pay it off it 2 or 3 months. It is a scam and I will be contacting an attorney.

I attempted to receive a loan for a company truck and almost went through with financing it through this company when I realized we would have been paying nearly $24,000 for a $12,000 truck! No one could explain how or why a "25% interest rate" was coming up to DOUBLE what we were attempting to finance. I'm just glad we caught it ahead of time. Absolutely horrible taking advantage of people that way.

I've paid my loan payment for 10 months, and logged online today to make a payment, to be notified that i could no longer make online payments due to insignificant funds transfers and had to call customer service. I've never missed a payment! So I called, and was informed that they wrote my contract wrong and had updated it. Apparently they had forgotten to add tax to my loan amount. On top of it, they told me that I owed the collected amount of taxes that they had not charged me for 10 months, and that it had been due 10 days previously. I never received a letter, email or phone call about this. So now I literally owe my regular payment amount + the back payment of taxes! They will do nothing to work with me to pay this back slowly, and if i don't pay it right away, it will affect my credit score. It's ridiculous that a company can make such a big mistake and be so inflexible to work with you to correct it. I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company and have had much better luck with TimeCorp.

This looks like a business trend. How do they get away with this? Management calls and threatens how they are going to come after me. They have the title of the equipment, not sent me any registration paperwork, will not honor their part yet they want me to bend over. I have not even picked up the truck and they keep attempting to take money from my account. What kind of nonsense is that?

This is a terrible company. They will take advantage of people and rip you off. No where on the contract do they list the total price that you will.be paying and it you pay your equipment off early, you still have to pay all of the charges for the 60 month contract. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE DEAL WITH THEM. BEWARE. DONT GET SCAMMED. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.

Consider them loan sharks, I asked them about putting my payments on the back end during a Covid closure and go no response then a letter telling me they moved my payments to the back end for a $1450 charge. I cannot get information from them about my lease. I did not pay the fee because I never agreed to that, I did have to catch up my payments. They froze without any agreement or communication.

Stay away!!!! I just now paid my equipment off early and received my title and they still keep withdrawing monthly from my account. I am reporting them as fraud. I had so many issues with them. I have only been using them for a 25,000 loan and I ended up spending 35k to 40k for only 11 months. They are a SCAM!!!! I am surprised the feds haven't closed them. All they do is lie to you when you get a hold of them after 3 weeks of calling.

Overall, I would not recommend Financial Pacific Leasing, Inc unless you know what you are getting into with them. I was also misled into thinking that I could pay off an equipment early that I am currently leasing with them. However, I found out that they charge double on what is worth (equipment which was 5,000 dollars) which they call "interest fee" that I think it is too high. They also tack high late fees a day after the due date. It seems that there is no grace period with them. I only have been with them for three years and there is no sight to complete my agreement with Financial Pacific Leasing term at this time due of closure of my business.
They will be willing to work with you if you ask nicely. Only downside to the service department is that it is very hard to get a hold of them. It would be hard to find out the payoff amount with them.
There are several people who used Financial Pacific Leasing to purchase same equipment as mine and they are having hard time with them and the most common complain is that FPL misled them regarding amount financed and payoff when certain numbers of payments are met.
Again, please do your homework on them before dealing with them. It is very easy to get financed with them but it is at your risk.
If you really want to finance any equipment, I would suggest using any banks or credit union which will provide better interest rates and easy to find out the payoff amount.

one of there customers left a truck at my shop for a year and a half.they called and wanted to pick it up no problem send me 13500.00 for storage and you can pick it up..been 8 mo never called me back guess i get a free truck

I cannot give any stars! This company has been A NIGHTMARE SINCE DAY 1. Same exact issues as all stated here. They are just horrible con artists as well as Currency Capital in California (big shock there - the whole state is nuts) who forced me into using them to get the equipment I needed. I need to find a way of having another company take over the lease of my equipment. However, they're telling me it's not an option??? Has anyone had this issue?

Scammers, misleading information, fees for the entire duration of the loan charged regardless of early payoff, the list goes on and on... Would give zero stars if I could. MAKE SURE IF YOURE GOING TO FINANCE THROUGH THEM YOU GET ALL INFORMATION ON INTEREST AND HOW IT IS ACCRUED. I financed a piece of equipment that was $5500, the representative was misleading and did NOT tell me that it is almost a 35% interest rate collected UP FRONT. I was under the impression financing the equipment was like a regular bank loan. If I could do it all over again I would get a personal loan from a bank. As soon as the equipment is paid off I will NEVER go through financial pacific leasing again. I have also told every single person I know with a small business to never use them.

They will divide your loan into 2 or more to charge you 3 or 4 times the amount of your equipment. Do not trust the sales people either. I got stuck into this contract and there is no way out.

I was young, just starting out, unpatient and completly unaware of what I was actually signing up for. I was told once i reached actual value of equipment I could offer a pay off and in the end only pay a small percentage over actual cost. I was naive so I blindly believed them. They took advantage. Im in a great position now and I learned ALOT from this one situation- but to pay back almost 50k for a 18k machine that ended up running out of warranty and then breaking before I even paid this lease off . Same machine less than 10k now. Around $900 a month for 5 years. (Got em)
But I signed up and i wanted it.
As a past client , knowing what I know now , I would wait and find a beter way - so with hindsight being 20/20 I hope to help someone else make a better choice and not make the same mistake I did.

Very bad lesson learned! I strongly encourage people to stay away from this company as it s going to be a struggle to get away from them!!

I have finaced through this company many times. You have to remember it is a lease, not a bank loan. They work with you on the late fees if you ask and the service has been good for us. I would use them again and again for Leasing.

Horrible experience. Very deceiving business practices making something sound like it s not with the way they explain their policies. Will never do business with them again. Do not, under any circumstances, do business with this company unless you are in dire need of money and have very bad credit. Don't do business with these people. They work like predatory lenders. They don't give you an interest rate and tie you to a loan you can't get out of unless you pay the full-term amount.

I do call directly and no one answers their extension and then I suppose that I am just playing games with your company when I am making a $1400 a month payment? Don't deal with them. They said you can pay your balcance off in 6 months. But the payment they want in 6 months is about the same like you gonna pay 4 more years. Even for a small amount of loaned money they will totally over charge you. They won't even tell you the interest rate. Find another ways to loan money.

We purchased a UV Printer about 2 years ago and applied for financing with Financial Pacific Leasing. Our representative was so helpful and got us the loan in no time. I have called in a few times to check my balance or had questions and always got what I needed taken care of. Thank you for helping us to grow our businss.

These guys are a complete predatory rip off. I called them one time after 3 years of not missing q payment to tell them I would be late they said no problem I had 30 days before I was actually late 5 days later when I tried to make payment they said they turned it over to college toons and there was nothing the they could do for me. It cost me an extra1000$ . They were hoping that they would just repo the truck and resell it after I paid all that mo e. Scimbags. Never again

They rarely respond. In this most recent instance, they took us off of autopay for no reason and I've emailed them every week for a month and still no response for how to reinstate autopay.

I stop paying on an xray machine because after two years the machine was condemn and could not be used instead of having them picking up the machine they are trying to sue me for the purchase price and I pd for for two years they committed fraud dont use them they violated law and don't care

When using this company you have to understand that they are a "Leasing" company. They don't have normal rules for interest rates even when you lease a car at a dealer if you pay it off you pay all the interest too unless you cut a deal. People are complaining about interest and insurance but if you sold a car on a payment plan you would want to make sure your investment was covered so if you don't have proper insurance to cover pay off or gap then they will get it for you to cover Thier interest. I don't understand how people can run a business and not understand any of this. This company does exactly what they say they will do. Make your payments and keep insurance and you will never hear from them until payed off. I have 3 trucks financed with them and all is good never any trouble and they are willing to work with me on anything good company to work with just make sure you understand what you have to do.

Bought 3 pieces of equipment for my company through them and still have not have possession of them and it's been 2 months. They will not help out and will not work with me when they're taking money out of my pocket for equipment I DONT HAVE! Don't work with these people ever.

Absolutely terrible. These people are scamming me out of insurance I already have. They even wouldn't send me an invoice to show that they were secretly charging me until I asked. Then when I had my insurance show proof of insurance they said it was expired?? Like what??? Do yourself a favor and get financing from a more modern and professional company. 0/10 would not finance from again.

Horrible customer service. Make sure you read every single detail as this company is VERY unethical.
