This was my first experience of teaching properly ...

This was my first experience of teaching properly in the UK and it was extremely helpful. I owe a lot to all the training I received at this very place. Despite brief, the amount of learning that took place was academically very up-to-date and I found it applicable to so many different aspects of my teaching practice both then and later. It was very generous of them to have trusted me and supporting me back in 2012. We had a difficult and unprofessional manager at the time which caused many trainees to drop out, but the rest of the team and my mentors were the best!

You can easily get isolated! It's probably hard not to if you study there for 5 years! I've studied there for 5 years from September 2014 to June 2019, and in that time I only got isolated once which was when I was in late year 9, just past the easter holidays. The thing that got me into isolation was: Me and my friend were locked out in the school's playground because the emergency doors can only be opened if you are inside and the other doors were looked so me and my friend then filmed each other with his phone trying to tell the School's News and there was a word that my friend said when I filmed him which I back then didn't know the meaning of and I didn't necessarily think that it would be offensive so when I got filmed I also said that word, I got isolated one week later.
But it's not all bad because some teachers are very funny!

And finally if anyone wants to find me I am on google maps for: Bristol Brunel Academy, I am also on Facebook and I am also on Instagram.
