LOAN SHARKS!!!!!!!!! LOOOAAANN SHAAAARRRKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people must be immune from the law. If I could give negative 1 million stars I would. Here is my experience. I bought a used truck from UHaul. I wanted to close the deal quickly but I did not have the full 10k at the moment. So I applied for financing through U-Haul's company, Alliance Leasing. They sold the loan to FPL without my knowledge. I informed them I was going to pay it off in a few months, would that be OK? "Oh, sure, no prepayment penalties." So now I am making payments to FPL, who is that? I go online and begin to mess myself after reading the FPL reviews. So I call them and ask for an amortization sheet. "Well, this isn't a regular loan. All the interest is charged up front." So I asked the girl, if I had the money for 1 week, I would pay the $5k in interest just the same as if I had the money for the 5 year term. "Well, we could give you $1,000 if you pay earlier." This can't be legal. I never agreed to pay all the interest up front. THEY CHARGE ALL THE INTEREST UP FRONT, NOT FOR THE TIME YOU USE IT. Call your uncle or anybody but FPL. Someone's gotta stop 'em.
