Purchased a used vehicle with the stipulation that the a/c leak would be fixed. The a/c had been recently charged, but had not kept the charge, so there was obviously a leak. I covered this detail again and again with the salesman. They put it through their shop and "fixed" it. I purchased it. Two weeks later the a/c was no longer working. Now they told me they had not found the leak and just charged it again. I took it to a different shop, which found the leak for $30. Orem Mazda would not commit to fixing the a/c leak as per our original agreement. All they could say was, "Bring it in and we'll look at it." That meant a 6 hour total commute for me with no commitment from them. They said the Sales Manager agreed to cover half the cost of my repair. I felt as though I was dealing with an organization (or at least a Sales Mgr) with only half of their integrity intact. Thankfully, the repair ended up costing half of the original estimate, so after pleading my cause by phone for 2 weeks with people in Sales and Service, the repair was done without charge. Not an establishment I would patronize a second time.

Tried the a/c for the summer. Nothing but warm air. Contacted Orem Mazda about it twice--they never returned my call. Took it to a local mechanic. They diagnosed the same faulty manifold assembly hose that Orem Mazda had allegedly replaced. Orem Mazda had simply charged the a/c, knowing that would get it through the last couple weeks of summer. Cost me $700+ to replace the part. Orem Mazda was dishonest with me; outright dishonest. Changing to 1 star.

I have a 2006 Mazda 6. I got a recall on my airbag and I didn't want to go because I thought it was going to take forever. When I finally showed up they said it would take about an hour. When I returned they rotated my tires and did a free alignment. I am a life long customer of this great Mazda dealership!

Great dealership! Friendly, knowledgeable and the million mile warranty is amazing! Our salesman, Richard, was awesome to work with!

Selling my used Mazda to them was an enormous hassle. They said that the people who sign the checks are out. So I came back the next day and again only one of the signers was in. The next time I checked in, I was told their check printer was broken.

I'm sure they would have given me the runaround for at least another week before paying me, had I not pushed really hard for them to actually pay me what they promised to pay. Ask if all the signers are in, and refuse to give them anything until they can actually pay you *right there on the spot*.

I expected more of Orem Mazda, given my good experience with them in the past. But in my opinion this dealership is starting to turn sour.

Average dealer. Went to look and test drive a Mazda CX-5. Got a much better overall deal at Southtowne in Sandy. If you don't care about getting the best deal and a good offer on your trade in, go here, both dealers sell the same new cars:) But if you're looking for price and trade in offers, go to Sandy.

I had a great, low pressure experience buying a used car at Orem Mazda. Kyle was a great and friendly salesman and made my time there enjoyable. I felt that he respected me and what I was there to do. When I said no, it was no, and when I said yes it was yes, and that is a much better experience than I have had with many salesman. My only wish is that service be a bit more streamlined. It took a while to get some information, but I would definately refer a friend here.

I ve gone in here a few times to look at Mazda s along with some used vehicles they post online. I ve made sure to work with Sebastian every time. He knows his stuff and isn t pushy at all. He s more interested in getting me something I like more than a sale! Thanks for being patient with me!

Just a little appendix to my wife's accurate and succinct review. This was one of the best car buying experiences we have had.

We dropped in at 6:30 pm, not sure if we were going to purchase a vehicle or not that night. Debra Berglund was outside the door and greeted us. We test drove the vehicle, a 2018 Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve. We took a while deciding if we were going to purchase. My wife wasn't sure if she wanted to switch from her Red 2015 Mazda to the newer White car. After driving it and looking at it, the interior was the Parchment, she decided she really liked it. Anyway, Debra was incredibly nice and helpful during the whole process. Based on research we had done, we got a very good price on the vehicle and a very fair price for our trade in, considering some of the body damage it had.

Debra was incredibly helpful during the whole process, in helping get the deal done. She also let us pull our old car and the new car into the Service Bay Area, so we could transfer our stuff in a warmer environment. The attendant, with Debra's direction, was very helpful and even power washed our all weather car mats for us.

Nate was also very helpful during the financial paperwork phase. He explained things very well and let us know all the options we had. They (Debra, Nate, and Debra's son who works there and was training in finance with Nate) stayed late until 10:30 p.m., so that we could finalize everything that night.

A couple days later Debra spent a couple hours with my wife to explain and teach her about all the settings and controls of the vehicle. I can't imagine receiving any better customer service than we received.

We ended up buying a certified used Mazda CX-5 and love it so far. The car buying experience here was great and Lil Wayne was super honest, patient, and helpful. We didn't feel pressured at all like we did over at Brent Brown.

Not pushy. Very courteous. Awesome reporting tools. I left and they took pics of things they thought were concerns on my car and texted them to me in a report when done. I ve got a list and I can address them on my own time if I want.

Orem Mazda left a bad taste in my mouth. My girlfriend was looking for a Mazda and tried a Mazda6 Touring which was nice, but we felt it was overpriced. According to CarGurus and other sites, it was. The car salesman was nice enough, but the floor manager clearly only wants to make as much profit as possible. He didn't try to accommodate us at all, ignored my girlfriend and spoke only to me. He was your stereotypical car salesman. We bought a Mazda3 GT at Bountiful Mazda yesterday and had a much better experience there. The staff was helpful, nice, and really listened to my girlfriend throughout the experience. The pricing is best at Bountiful, D. Dahle, and Southtowne.

My husband and I loved Orem Mazda! We worked with Sabastien Robbins and loved his Hospitality! He made sure to listen to all of our needs and wants in a car and showed us the perfect cars to match! He was personable and not pushy at all! Ask for him whenever you go in and I m positive you will have a great experience!

i was AMAZED at the service provided by Monte (service department) & Debra (front desk?). on a very busy day where they were short-staffed, they both made sure i was taken care of. when no one was answering my phone & i was placed on hold for awhile (because of being short-staffed), Debra personally got ahold of the right people for me & then contacted me through her personal cell phone to make sure i was okay. Monte helped so much with my broken-down car. he not only gave a personal opinion as to how to handle the situation, but he was personally invested in how things turned out he followed up with me & actually cheered with me when he found out my car would be getting properly fixed. i am SO glad i had help from orem mazda, especially from Debra & Monte i feel like i had people on my team, which rarely happens when i deal with car issues (i usually feel taken-advantage of). i will recommend EVERYONE to orem mazda!!!!

I was initially happy with these guys, only because of the excitement of a new car. (Bought a Mazda CX5, and I love it). I was even okay with the entire process taking over 3 hours, which is entirely too long to be at a dealership. They even knew I was coming from Colorado and what car I wanted to drive...down to the color. They had it ready when I arrived, but from there on out, no one was organized. I could have dealt with that alone, but then they texted or called me every other day after that for a month after I bought it, because they forgot something or needed to make-up a new agreement or needed the VIN off my current Mazda 6 for the Loyalty Program, even though that was already given to them while I was there. They, still, to this day, are asking me for some information. I almost went to Denver for a new Mazda, and I truly wish I would have.

If I could leave no stars, I would. The salesmen here will be kind to you until you pay, and then they will ignore you. Don't tell them you have any money to put towards your loan. They will ask for the downpayment, and not apply it towards your loan. I tried going in and calling and received cold shoulders and unanswered voicemails. Go somewhere else.

Everyone was really nice there which is why I ended up getting the car, but they sold me a LEMON. I was having problems right before my first payment. Now I'm about to pay my second payment and my car died again.

I've purchased 4 cars from Orem Mazda because I like Mazda and it's relatively close. I've influenced at least 4 other car purchases as well with nonincentivized referrals. I appreciate management reaching out when I had questions and concerns over recent purchases. I'm excited to see how the industry as a whole improves with faster access to loan approvals and general information.

These guys are awesome! I came in with a general idea of what I was looking for and Bryce worked with me closely and helped me find the perfect fit for me! I ended up getting a Cx-5 with AWD and I LOVE IT! Jesse the lot tech made sure my car was super clean. It's been months since I bought my car. Bryce called to make sure everything was going good and I told him about some streaks I found on the door's interior, and after doing some research he found a solution for me. The guys in the shop cleaned it up like it never even happened. I highly recommend the Orem Mazda Dealership to anyone looking for a friendly experience in purchasing a vehicle.

I wish I could rate this place lower. The scum that worked here tried to pull a quick on on me while they were working on a recall on my vehicle. They did a oil change and tire rotation without my permission and was trying to charge me for it.

I actually purchased a brand new cx-5 from this dealership in 2016. At that time, I did encounter some difficulty. However, my salesman, Jordan was great! So, I purchased the vehicle. I returned recently to buy a used cx 5 for my wife. I have never encountered so much difficulty in purchasing a vehicle ever as I did recently. So, I walked out of the dealership and decided to keep shopping. They did not work with me on price or payment at all.

I went to a different Mazda dealer and I can tell you that my experience was night and day difference. I got a much better price on a vehicle that was newer, with less miles and an interest rate that was 2 percent better. It just seemed like they weren't willing to work harder at earning my business. So, I drove almost 2 hours to a different dealership and I do not regret it for a second. I got a much better deal!

Nate Speer was awesome to work with, very knowledgeable, not pushy and helped with explaining al the feature of the 2016 Cx7.. I'm very pleased with my new car. They've completely revamped the technology and everything works great now. Nate made the experience pleasant, quick and efficient. very pleased with the experience this time.

In searching for a commuter car, I searched several different dealers with several different models. My wife and I decided that the Mazda 3 was the right one for us. Alex let us take a car home after working out some numbers to test it out to make sure we liked it over the weekend. Found out we loved it, but wanted to see what our options were for a 5 door instead of he sedan. Alex and Aaron were great to work with to find the right car for the right price. Chip the General Manager got us the options we wanted for close to the price we wanted.

From my wife: My husband needed a commuter car since he drives to from Utah County to Downtown Salt Lake every day for his work... because he loves me. I've always loved Mazda but I felt like I needed to convince him of the Mazda greatness. The car did all the work for me at an avg 38 mpg. Alex was great to work with and we got really close to the price we wanted with the options we wanted. He uses the free car wash all the time.

I just bought my first car and wouldn t go anywhere else! Robert was amazing to work with and so friendly! Even my mom said that was the smoothest experience she s had in buying a car. They answered all my questions and I never felt pressured to buy. Fantastic service!

Original Review ( Update Below ): Amanda was amazing! Best salesperson I have ever had interaction with. She is very knowledgable and professional. I felt like I was talking to a friend the whole time! Definitely don't hesitate to do business with Amanda at B Mazda Orem, you won't regret it!

Update: I took the car in to be serviced and after receiving the list of servicing the vehicle needed I was pretty taken aback by it all. I thought that I had found a dealership that I could trust to do business with but that's not the case with B Mazda of Orem. They fell short on the "facts" they provided on the vehicle and I drove it off the lot just to have to spend a hefty amount just to make sure it was safe on the road.

Update: I don't get anything out of this but feel the need to call out an awesome service experience:

Took car in to Orem Mazda for some recall work. They sent me home in a beautiful loaner car. Today called again saying they found a small leak in the fuel line but they could cover it under the recall warranty and to just keep the loaner car until Thursday when the part should be in and the work complete. Thanks for taking the stress and hassle out of getting my vehicle serviced - you're the best.

Update: Went in for the oil change. They took good care of me and also found out they'll swap out winter tires for a reasonable price AND store them for FREE - how cool is that.

I blew a spark plug out on my RX-8 (just bought it from private sale a few weeks ago) and was worried the engine block was had. Found the plug - crawled under the car - got it in finger tight and was able to get it home. Called Jake up at the dealership service desk and he had me bring in the car right then over lunch. Martin (the mechanic) took the car in, checked plugs, torqued them up, and gave it a green light. I really appreciated that they were so up front with me and found a simple solution to a problem that could have been very costly to repair or require an engine swap.

I've always been leary of mechanic shops but I've found a shop I trust. Monty and Jake have both been genuine and professional. The RX-8 is awesome and it's comforting to know I've got a good team if anything goes wrong.

Great place to do business! I bought my car from them which I was taken very well care of, and received the best deal! I came in today exploring the idea of getting the new CX-5. I had average/below average credit and a low down payment option. I wasn't counting on getting the car I actually WANTED..... but Aaron helped me explore all of my options. He was incredibly patient with all my questions and requests. I am walking out of here today with an amazing car and an amazing monthly payment. I can't say enough good things about him and this dealership. ASK FOR HIM when you come in- he's awesome.

The service department always takes good care of me and my vehicle. They are friendly, professional, and accommodating. They are a big reason I am a long time loyal customer! And the Mazda CX5 is a great car, never any issues!

It depends entirely on which service person you get as to your experience. It can either be a 1 or a 5.

We had a wonderful experience getting a great deal on car here, however I would not recommend them as two months after we bought our car they are constantly emailing us trying to sell us another car, we've asked them to stop 5 times and they have just ignored us.

This experience buying a car was way better than the typical pushy dealer. Jared White helped me and was anything but pushy! Everyone there was calm and that made all the difference. Not only do I feel like Jared gave me a great deal on a car but I would recommend him and Orem Mazda over any dealer. I have literally never had as good of experience at any other dealer. I know they have a lot of great employees but it would be particularly worthwhile to go out of your way to ask for Jared.

Robert has been wonderful to work with! He is very knowledgeable about the Mazda fleet of vehicles, let me take my time test driving the vehicles, and helped me trade in my much loved Mazda6 for a Mazda CX-30. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Orem Mazda is no longer the trusted, ethical dealership I once knew them to be. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them in the past 4 years and still own both. I paid cash for my most recent vehicle; pre-owned as opposed to my first vehicle which was brand new. When I bought my recent car, the sales manager urgently asked me if he could doctor the paperwork to make it look like I paid more cash for the car and then have me pay more cash upfront in exchange for a gift card refund so he could get the deal done and that it would really help them out . I agreed, paid the extra cash, purchased the car wherein they told me to expect an email for the gift card refund. I never received an email from the dealership and when I later checked on the status of my gift card, they told me it should have come from a third party entity called edmunds?. I looked back through all of my emails (including junk and spam) with my salesman standing right there next to me and nothing was there. My salesman remembered the deal and told me he would look into it and get back with me. When he called me back, I was told I checked into things and basically, the dealership has decided to take no action to refund your money because this is not the dealerships issue and we show no record of owing you any money. Even though my salesman verified that he remembered the actual deal, the dealership refused to be true to their word. It was only 200.00 but it s the principal of it all that upsets me, especially when the sales manager begged me to work with them and help them out to buy the car; which I did in good faith. Pretty sad that Orem Mazda has lost all integrity over such a small amount of money, especially to a loyal repeat customer who has now become a never again customer. Whatever you do, don t trust Orem Mazda but even more importantly, DONT PAY THEM EXTRA UPFRONT MONEY TO BUY A VEHICLE IN EXCHANGE FOR ANY REFUND......chances are they won t honor their word to you either afterall, it s not the dealerships issue!! If I could have given a lower rating than 1 star, I GLADLY would have!!!

I haven't even purchased a car here yet, but the Sales Rep and Manager have been extremely helpful while i am trying to work things out. They have great Customer Service and have a very honest team! I will for sure be buying a car here pretty soon. I would suggest for everyone to at least stop by here if they are looking to purchase a car! Thanks Orem Mazda!!

I have never been treated so kind and respectful by any company before. I took my car in to the service department and Rick Larson helped me. He was very professional and curtiouis. He gave me a quote and it was right on the money. Or wait time was not very long which made us very happy. I will never go to another service place. Monte in service went above and beyond to greatly improve an initially (somewhat) underwhelming experience and prove that they stand behind their customers. Best service experience I ve had from any dealer in town.

I accompanied my sister on her visit to the dealership to look at a specific car which she had vetted on the website. After promptly being greeted by salesperson Ryan, he checked into the vehicle we were inquiring about and regretfully informed us that it had been sold that morning. He offered to help us locate a suitable alternative so after listening carefully to my sister as she offered specifics about the make, model and trim level of her desired Mazda, he got right to work and located it at a different dealership in Bountiful. With the help of Sales Manager Justin, Ryan had the vehicle delievered from Bountiful to Orem in what seemed to be no time at all! My sister test drove it, and several other cars that afternoon and ended up making an offer, to which we had the pleasure of a reply from Justin in the Sales Manager's office. We had a lively but respectful and educational debate about the value and price. The sincere effort that Ryan gave that day on behalf of my sister and finding the right vehicle at a fair price was complimented by Justin who went the extra mile to earn our trust and our business and after agreeing on the terms during the last minutes of the business day and to everyone's satisfaction, [he] Justin chose to stay and assist Ryan prepare the paperwork and the vehicle for delivery and has indicated that they will follow-up on the navigation chip which we were told would be provided to us within a couple days. Thank you Ryan and Justin for taking such good care of my sister. You're both awesome!

I've been to this place several years now to purchase my vehicles. We love dealing with Taylor, he is super friendly person and treats us with respect, more like family. If you go to Orem B Mazda request Taylor! Their service department is pretty top notch as well. I never had service done there and feel like I was getting screwed with like I do from other places that are always trying to convince me of draining all my fluids, changing all my filters , getting new tires month after month.

I know that some people can feel pressured into buying a car at dealerships, however that is not the case here. I have not yet made a purchase from Mazda, but I had a really good experience at the dealership in Orem. I feel like my opinions and preferences were respected by the employees. I worked with Bryce, and he was very helpful.

I was browsing cars in many lots. Instead of driving lot to lot I parked in mazada. the salesman said since I was not buying a mazada I could not park there which I was going to look there eventually. Mazada I never will buy from you...... great future customer service.....

We've leased 4 vehicles from Orem Mazda in as many years with two more leases ending in 2019 which will also be replaced with new cars. Lil Wayne and Chip have always been great to work with. They are very knowledgeable and willing to bend over backwards to help you achieve your goals. The cars have been amazing as well. Great has mileage, reliable, low cost of ownership, and super fun to drive. I'd recommend a Mazda from Orem Mazda to anyone in the market for a new or used car.

Our experience was very positive. We especially enjoyed working with Lil Wayne. We even got to meet his mom. Jordan was very helpful and Chip was also a pleasure to work with. It wasn't the normal "pushing car sales" that we sometimes experience. Everyone provided the information we needed and then allowed us to make the decision.

Price is a different item to rate since a car buyer never really knows how their deal compares with others. I research a lot before making a car purchase, including comparisons of dealers outside of Utah, and the price we got seemed to be inline and competitive.

Chip hawkes and Jared White we considerate, knowledgeable and bent over backwards for great customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them and the dealership. I will certainly tell my friends

The salesman we worked with was kind and knowledgeable. We are from out of the area so were wandering around the nearby stores while the car was being worked on. He called us to let us know that the cab filter (something we were not there for) was needing replaced and that the tires needed replaced. When we got back to the dealership he had created a quote for the tires and at my approval had replaced the filter.

This Mazda dealership is amazing! I was able to talk to someone (Reagan) right away about my car situation and ended up with a brand new car in just 2 days! Reagan is a great sales associate and he really listened to what I wanted out of a car. He was able to get me a great deal and I absolutely recommend everyone to go here! I love my car! Do not go to this Mazda! The customer service has vanished. I use to talk about how great Orem Mazda was. But now I tell everyone I know to avoid them like the plague. I have reached out multiple times on Facebook, and email, and each time they tell me it has been passed to management and they will reach out, and they never have. I am externally disappointed in this Mazda and will go to other dealerships.

Orem Mazda beat out all my local Mazda dealerships in Seattle, Bremerton and Puyallup WA with their pricing considerations, their warranties, their customer gifts like oil for life for oil changes, their warranties, their excellent customer relations and care, plus their express delivery of all the required documents for a quick and efficient total transaction. Yes, I m a believer in this five star Mazda dealership and its employees who installed all the additional accessories to make this our very own customized SUV, and the employee (Monte Menzel) who explained all the amazing features of the CX-9 and personally assisted me start (prior to the car even having a VIN assigned) to finish (transporting it to my driveway in another state.
