I have a 2013 Speed3 that I purchased from Southtowne . But all of my factory and all of my after market parts I have been purchasing from Cody Allington at Bountiful Mazda. And I have ordered parts from here about 5 times. The service is great ! I make a call and its on its way ! Pricing is great and its always a pleasure to go and pick up my parts as I get to chat with Cody and talk cars . Every time I visit the service department at Bountiful Mazda I leave impressed by their clear communication, pleasant demeanor and trustworthiness. They keep my car so well maintained that it'll be a while before I purchase again, but when I do, I expect to buy from this dealership.

This is the BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I have ever had. This is the second brand new car I have bought in a year and I will always recommend Bountiful Mazda. The salesman are very professional and they know their cars. They didn't hassle us or rush us into a car. They took their time to make sure we were satisfied and we could tell that they cared about us. We worked with Tim May, Drew Shumway and Mike Kentrolis. AWESOME guys to work with. Tim and Drew were the salesman and Mike was the Finance Manager. Once we found the car we wanted it was a pain free process. Tim and Drew went through the booklets and features that were essential to driving the vehicle and made sure we knew had to use them. Mike went through the optional features that we could buy with the vehicle before making the sales contract and he made sure we were comfortable with our decision. He went line through line on the paperwork explaining what everything was. Every single paper, Mike thoroughly discussed what we were signing for. Also, there was no hassle on what we were offering for the vehicle even though another dealership (Southtowne) laughed at us and turned us away for offering that price. To be honest, I went to a Mazda Dealership to drive a Range Rover Discovery. The kid was pleasant and honest. Didn't know much about the vehicle I was driving. Instead he focused on their commitment in making loyal customers!
Mason took great care in assisting us in finding the right car and deal. He even got us hot chocolate while we waited. He was very patient, informative and thoughtful during the whole process, which put us at ease. The rest of the team was very motivated and helpful as well. Down the road, I'd be interested in purchasing from him again.
We were dealing with someone at Bountiful Mazda who was helping us find a CX-9. We traveled 3.5 hours to go see this car, calling them about an hour away to make certain they still had it. We were ten minutes from our destination (Bountiful Mazda) when they called us to tell us they had just sold the car to someone else. I understand car dealerships want to make a sale, but there should also be some integrity and decency in these situations. What a waste of an entire day for us. We will buy a Mazda; but certainly never from Bountiful Mazda.
We have enjoyed our new Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring and the great experience working with Bountiful Mazda and Gary Higgs through the whole process. The service afterwards has been stellar also. Highly recommend seeing Gary to lease or buy your next vehicle.
I bought my Mazda 6 back at the end of February and have been happy with everything about it. Was very pleased the sales group and there wasn't a lot of hassle with the price. The service department is great also. Jeff (service manager) was quick to reach out to me and make sure all went well. I had my first service on Friday last week 08/07/2020. It went quicker that I thought. I even had a fender bender and they, without me even asking looked over everything to make sure there wasn't any structurally wrong. Great service and quick. And you can't beat the free Oil for life, just have to pay for the service and filter. Awesome. Thanks BMazda

I thought this calamitous style of car salesman was a thing of the past. The car itself has been okay. However, the shallow 'relationship' the salesman pretended to build with me is quite disappointing. A professional and genuine relationship would go farther than the smoke and mirrors veiling Bountiful Mazda's high pressure sales tactics. Aside from the disappointed and slightly uncomfortable feeling I experienced a week or so after signing my lease (I feel like they saw me coming $$$), I was still all-in with this dealership. A few months before my lease ended I called up and asked to schedule an appointment to see about getting into another Mazda. I went out of my way to be very up front and honest about my finances, different vehicle needs and desires for a change in cars. It was all smoke and mirrors as I was told a salesman had reviewed my lease and was prepared to answer my questions promptly and sit down with me to discuss my options expeditiously. Instead of what I was promised, I was disrespected and my time wasted as they kept me hanging around the entire day, sitting in the lobby and bouncing me from one salesman to the next, attempting to get me into something over my desired budget. Time is valuable and they were dishonest with me and stole my time. The service center was great with most every repair needed during the three years I was their client. However, my entire electronic system would freeze up and reboot in cold weather. It took three separate visits to the shop to fix this issue. In the end, the mechanic who fixed the issue didn't understand why there was ever any confusion at all as this was 'a known problem' and 'simple fix'. Yet again, my time was stolen as I repeatedly scheduled time off work to have this issue unsuccessfully solved. I am not one to walk away or be non-negotiable. However, I patiently trusted this dealership and gave them myriad opportunities to earn my respect and business. Instead, they stand tall as one of those places that puts a bad taste in the mouths of consumers seeking a respectful and honest experience in vehicle purchase and support. As my lease neared it's end, repeated calls and texts began - inquiring when I was going to come in to trade in or return the car. I spoke with a salesman at this dealership and gave him my straightforward feedback. He politely thanked me for the feedback and removed me from the calling list. It's never too late to change - I genuinely hope that my time in writing this will be a valued catalyst for improvement. Thank you.

I purchased a CX5 on 12/28/2015 which was my 4th Mazda bought from Bountiful Mazda - so I can fairly say they are great bunch of people. Unfortunately, it was totaled on 1/1/2016. Annette kept in touch while I worked out a reimbursement from my insurance company and was there with me along the way. Annette was always keeping an eye out for a CX5 that was similar to the one I bought while Rustin and MJ made sure I got a great deal on my second purchase within 30 days. Annette was very patient with me through this very difficult process and made this experience easy for me. If you are thinking of buying a Mazda - I will tell you to go here first. No other dealership in the Wasatch Front will treat you the way Bountiful Mazda will.
I bought my first car from Bountiful Mazda and had an awesome experience! I worked with Sean, who was super great. Not pushy at all and made me feel really comfortable with the whole experience, as I was pretty nervous to be buying my first car. They gave me four new tires, realigned the brakes and did a full detail including a buff and a wax before I drove the car home! I definitely recommend buying from these guys.

I had a fantastic buying experience way above my expectations not only did they sell me a great used 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that they had done $1000.00 of work on it , I bought it As Is. I got back home to Idaho Falls and a few days later the headlights started having a some weird problems . I called Bountiful Mazda , and talked to the owner M J I explained the problem and told him that I know that it was sold AS IS and didn't expect him to take care of the expense of have it fixed here locally, ,, and to my total amazement he said to take it in and he would pay for it I was totally blown away, and today I received a check in the mail for $320.00 Now that's customer service I would highly recommend buying from Bountiful Mazda .

I got a postcard to update my 2014 Mazda 3 infotainment system. After waiting around for 1 1/2 hours, they said that they couldn't update it as it is already at the newest version. That sounded odd since the new update just came out, but oh well. Oh, and how did it take 1 1/2 hours to figure that out? I went home and investigated the issue further...my current version is 27, the newest is 55. I called to ask what happened, they said it must be an issue with my car. After searching around online, I am currently installing the update at home with a workaround (thank you internet). They must be very incompetent about how to service their cars.

Bought a new 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback back in October 2012. Great experience when I bought it. Was offered the free tire deal ( buy one get one free) if I brought it in and stuck to the recommended service schedule. Also was told about the Mazda loyalty program, $500 off if I bought another Mazda at any time after. Loved this car as a daily driver and did the 50 minute drive back here for all my services. Clean place, refrements and a professional sells team that s knowledgeable of their products. They honored the tire deal. Thank you. Then came the dreaded day of my accident. Guy blow the red light at 60 mph and wiped the front end out. Totaling the car. I walked away without a scratch. My insurance company paid me for fair market price. I went back to buy a new one. About to pull the trigger and I brought up the loyalty plan. I was told by the manager that since the car wasn t in my name because I Signed it over to the insurance company that it wouldn t be honored. I explained that I m in their system and never missed a service appointment. Showed pics of the accident. Still nothing. Well they lost a customer over the $500 loyalty program that had a protection clause for them. I know they have a business to run but it left a bitter taste in mouth. I drove away in the rental I had and bought a Ford down the road. I had to turn the rental in within a week so I had to get a car ASAP. I love the Mazda products and just bought a used 2014 for my 16 year old daughter. I m not hating on Bmazda. I m just bitter over how I was treated about not proving that I bought one from them when they have the complete buying and service history of my old beloved Mazda. I bring this up now because it s a running joke when we receive advertisements from them and my wife and I say to each other maybe they will honor that $500 loyalty deal on our next purchase. Long story short I m just a bitter man who feels that he was bait and switched. I do recommend going there if your in the market. Again, great place and a professional sells team.
Contacted bountiful mazda to have a recall fixed on my car in September and contacted them multiple times after. Still waiting for them to let me know the parts arrived. So I went to Riverdale Mazda and they got me in the next weekend. THANKS Riverdale Mazda!
I've had a lot of bad experience at dealerships in the past. It was time to finally get rid of my very old vehicle. I heard that Bountiful Mazda was really good to their customers. Gus from Mazda was able to get me a great deal, and more on my trade than any other dealership that I checked with. I would definitely buy another vehicle from these guys

Dianne helped me long before I stepped foot into the dealership. She made herself available to my busy schedule for my appointment. She has also been very responsive and quick to meet my requests. She even was friendly and informative to my dad who wanted to help me along with the process of purchasing my own first car. She had th car I wanted to test drive (even the color) warmed up and ready to go. Some of the other sales people were there offering add-ons, extended warranty that I didn't want; they were persistent as expected but not too pushy. I noticed some scratches on my new car before leaving the dealership which I wasn't happy about but Dianne made sure to get me set up with her best paint guy to have those fixed soon. Happy to have done business with you! The CX-5 is fantastic!

I absolutely love this dealership! It was warm and inviting from beginning to end. My salesman Gus was friendly and never pushy. He explained everything to me about the car using personal experiences and talking in language that I could understand. I met the owner MJ and was very impressed that he was down on the sales floor working right alongside his associates. And of course, I bought the car I wanted!
They sell used cars without even doing a simple inspection or test driving them. I definitely would never buy a used car here. Just as well buy private. Same risk, less money.

I made an appointment to get my wife's Mazda 5 touring edition (which we love). I raised several areas of concern (brakes, tires, lube, oil, filter) and asked that they register the car. It was said that the brakes were fine and that the grinding was due to uneven wear on the rotors, which my wife elected not to have serviced then (about two weeks ago as of this writing). The service representative (Scott) was very responsive when the car was in the shop. But I'm almost sure that he was not doing the actual work on the car. It turns out that the grinding noise was due to a complete lack of brake pads, and the rotors were destroyed because of that. Also, the service team did not seem to notice a broken strut sustained by the vehicle when the were putting on new tires. Finally, even though I asked them to register the car that task was not complete. Granted, much of this would have been avoided if I had picked up the car myself, but my ailing wife picked it up when she was in a lot of pain and just wanted to get home. I'm not blaming this establisment, because Caveat Emptor is a universal maxim. I just wish that I had been the one to retrieve the vehicle after the work was done. This car would have stayed there until all the issues were resolved to my satisfaction. It seems a shame to have such a negative experience after reading all the glowing reviews and sterling reputation this establishment enjoys. I'm not giving up on B Mazda, but I was left wanting after this experience, despite the attentive and friendly staff.
As my first-time buying experience at a dealership, I was extremely anxious that some or many of the stereotypes that car dealerships hold would be true. Turns out the guys and girls at Bountiful Mazda are totally legit! Not once did I feel like I was getting "sold." They were very up-front with how the whole process works and I ended up getting a better deal than I had originally thought. I really appreciated that. If anyone's looking for a car, go here first. Ok, I have a story for you (read until the end - I will demonstrate the difference between a dealership that is cares about the actual customer vs. one that cares about the customer's money)....So it all started with trying to order 2018. In talking with the sales representative, I discovered that there is roughly a 3 month wait on the particular vehicle I am looking to buy. It worked out perfectly with my schedule, and since there wasn't a current 2018 on the market that met my criteria, I went ahead and put in the special order with deposit (Bountiful also has a smaller deposit on special orders than other dealers I have worked with). Later the same day, we discovered that Mazda Corp had completed production on all 2018 models so I would not be able to process my special order. To make matters worse, there was no ETA on special orders for 2019 models or arrival times, pricing, etc... So now I found myself without a 2018 that met my specs, no idea on 2019s, and a 2017 model that didn't include key featuresfrom the 2018. At this point, in steps MJ - and in no time at all, he acknowledged the situation, found me a 2017 model that he could retrofit with the 2018 features I wanted, and all while agreeing to the original timeline I specified when placing my original order. I have purchased a wide variety of vehicles over the years - some through special orders (which can be tricky) and I have never found a dealership who (1) acknowledged and apologized for a mistake (that wasn't actually their fault - Mazda hadn't sent out the 2018 production notification yet), (2) solved the problem the same day by going above and beyond, and (3) kept to their original agreement (timeline) even though they could potentially sell the vehicle sooner otherwise. I have always been a huge supporter of Bountiful's Service Dept (I won't take my custom miatas anywhere else), and now I can also vouch for the care and commitment they show to their buyers as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership if you are considering the purchase of a new (or even used) vehicle as they WILL ensure that they make their customers happy.

The service center staff and all the technicians always take very good care of my baby (2013 Mazda CX-5 - "Moxie") This is my third car purchased with Bountiful Mazda. I drive 30 minutes - one way - to have my car services here and it is worth the extra time.. They are always honest and explain everything to my understanding. When I am ready to sell this one...this is the only place I am going to go!

I've never had a better car buying experience. Ever. MJ MacDonald treated us like family and he took the time to help my wife and I to make the right decisions for our purposes. In a convivial manner, he also thoroughly explained any and all of our questions and also helped us to understand all of our options given our budget. Debbie was a total sweetheart. And, Scotty Medine was keen in making sure we were being taken care of after the purchase.

I had a great experience buying my CX-5 from Bountiful Mazda! I'm from out of state so I contacted the dealership via online chat and was paired with Austin. From the beginning he was super helpful and had a quote for me in just a few minutes. Austin made sure to answer all my questions, gave me a price breakdown so I knew what I was getting into before making the trip to the dealership. Once we were there the rest of the Bountiful Mazda team was just as helpful. This was our first car purchase there and I know we will be back in the future.
This was one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Instead of going back and forth with the normal car-buying negotiation where the sales guys try to rip you off, Richard actually listened to what I had to say and treated me with respect. I had done my homework and knew what I should be paying for my CX-5, and Richard came right out and gave me a better price than other dealerships in the area. He communicated promptly, and got all of my paperwork started before I arrived to pick up the car. It only took about an hour to finalize everything, and I wasn't pressured to add on anything I didn't want. This dealership cares about its customers, and it's so refreshing to be dealt with in a civil manner, instead of having to go to battle with sales guys that lie and want to rip you off. Overall, an excellent experience!

Even though I was looking at used vehicles from other manufacturers, Gus never made me feel pressured and was very helpful with pulling service records and showing me several vehicles before I made my final decision. Truly the best car buying experience I've ever had. My husband and I went in just to look and met Rich. He took us to test drive a couple different models. We talked price and get got right to the point, giving us his best deal. After we explain we wanted to check out some other dealerships. Travis (Maybe Trevor, who is the sales manager) came out ( we were a little nervous at this point thinking that he was here to put some pressure on us buying) to our happy surprise the just shook our hands and said thank you for considering us for your next car purchase. Rich then shook our hands sent us on our way and said he would be in contact with in a few days. After visiting several other dealerships we just felt the most comfortable at Bountiful Mazda. Overall one of the best purchase experiences I've ever had in my life. The team truly cares for you and want you to get out of there with the car that works for you, not the most gimmicky or expensive one. They rather protect your interests and wallet that just sell you something for the sake of it. It is not everyday that you come out of a purchase as big as a car with absolute peace of mind and knowledge that you will be taken care of. It is also nice that the Mazda cx-5 we bought is an absolute stud. Overall would highly recommend.
This is a great Mazda dealership we found while traveling on vacation. They quickly gave me a reservation and were very understanding when I had to reschedule. I drove in at the agreed time expecting a complicated process with the Service Technician. Instead, we were promptly greeted by Bree who was very courteous, friendly and attentive. We thought the wait would be several hours. Instead we were in and out in 30-minutes. We had an oil change and the tires were rotated. We were very happy with the service and staff. Too bad this dealer is 750 miles from our home on Los Angeles.

The service manager Chris Sylvester at Bountiful Mazda is great! I took my car in for an oil change and they were finally able to diagnose a noise i have been hearing for months. After they explained the issue and that it was out of warranty I was pretty upset. The car had been in before and incorrectly diagnosed which prompted my frustration. Chris was able to accurately explain the problem and even though out of warranty, he took care of the issue. I'm usually not one to take my cars to dealers because of the negative issues i have experienced in the past, but after this experience with Bountiful Mazda I wouldn't want to take my car elsewhere. I've owned my Mazda for nearly 5 years, and everything from the sales people to the service people to the car itself have been great. I take my Mazda to this dealership for every service: oil changes, brakes, anything that needs to be done. I won't let anyone else work on my Mazda! Life throws us many curve balls... My recent was the joys of divorce. I was in need of trading in both my car and truck in hopes of achieving a smaller monthly payment. Update: I just got my 3rd vehicle from Bountiful Mazda. They were just as helpful and friendly as the first two times. They are easy to work with and don't jerk you around like some dealerships. This time I got a Certified Pre-owned Mazda CX-5, and I love it. I would happily recommend them to anyone.
I just got my second vehicle from Bountiful Mazda, and I love it! The staff here are very courteous and respectful and really went out of their way to help us. I especially enjoyed working with Bri, Shad, Dave, and MJ. They each spent time with us making sure that we were getting taken care of through the whole process, from test drive through financing and driving away. I will definitely be back.
Joshua Mulivai was absolutely fantastic! If you need a great salesman, go to him. He is honest and kind. He will go above and beyond for your needs and wants as best as he can. We ve had terrible experiences in the past with other dealerships but this was completely different..it was a pleasant experience. Jon McCarter was also fantastic to work with (financial person). He was patient and very helpful with the process. I HIGHLY recommend going to Bountiful Mazda.
I loved my experience here! I was actually able to get out of my car and walk around for a minute before the salesman came out. Our salesman Tim May was awesome answered all our questions and was not super pushy like other dealerships that you go to! Will definitely be buying my next Mazda from Bountiful Mazda!
