Orem Mazda is MILLION times better than the Murray location. Murray is a bunch of clowns who are impatient and lazy. I finally left Murray and went to Orem and they did everything they could to make my negative experience with Mazda a positive one.

This was definitely one of my better car buying experiences. I dealt with Dan in sales and Scott, the general sales manager, and both were very friendly, and not pushy at all. Dan went overboard showing me every important feature of the CX-5 I drove away with and let me go my own pace and tinker with everything. I could also tell he was genuinely impressed with the car and not just faking it to make the sale. It improved my confidence in my decision without making me feel like he was making it for me. I have had horrible experiences with other dealerships, like LHM trying to force me to buy a car that you know they've just had on their lot too long, but my wife and I both felt like we were treated well and respectfully the entire time. I would definitely shop here again and refer friends and family here, even though I live in Salt Lake and this is definitely not the closest Mazda dealership to me.

Taylor Curtis helped me through my car buying process. He did everything he could to make sure my car was in working condition. but the rest of the company has been shady and never holds up promises even if in writing. went in to cancel extended warranty on 4-22-2015 because my car was wreaked and they "took care of it" come to find out a month later it was never sent in. this place is horrible DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

The car that I wanted was in short supply due to the 2016 Mazda 3's being just around the corner and dealers not getting any more 2015 Mazda 3's. The guys at Orem Mazda went the extra mile to make sure I got the car that I wanted. What fantastic service! I highly recommend that anybody who is in the market for a new car go to Orem Mazda for great cars and great service. I plan to buy from them again when I am ready to replace the car that I just purchased.

I purchased a vehicle a few months ago, I thought the frustration with the whole process at Orem Mazda would subside. However it hasn't, and now talking with some friends who purchased a vehicle there long before I did it sounds like this is just how it goes there.
The short and not so sweet of "my experience" is: super high pressure sales tactics. yo-yo financing. After we told them we were pre approved, and we DID NOT want our credit shopped they did so anyways. Brought us in weeks later told us we weren't qualified and continued pressuring us to sign for a different loan (our bank telling us after reviewing the paper work, we should be totally fine). Then telling us they couldn't sell us the car without us buying nearly $4000 in insurances that we didn't want, won't use and after researching said insurance, found many instances where the insurer failed to come through for people carrying their coverage.

Also, do not give them the keys to your trade in!!! (The old hold em' till they fold)

Reading the reviews for this location I thought my family was going to be well taken care of. Honestly the worst car buying experience ever. Orem Mazda had the chance to make it right and chose not to. We Should have left but we allowed them to break us down and get what they wanted.

Great Service! These guys made a mistake when I purchased a new car and they went out of their way to make it right! Great service, love the waiting area with snacks. I get 1/2 of my oil changes, 1/2 off new tires and their service department guys are amazing.

Nice friendly, don't bother leaving a message they don't call back. Their text and schedule service on their website didn't work either. Expensive

These folks really go the distance for their customers. I bought a 2015 Mazda 3 from them and the whole experience was exceptional, and they add a lot of nice touches too like free synthetic oil with oil changes and free car wash, plus more. Great dealership!

About a year ago I went to Orem Mazda to look at some cars. I had finally narrowed it down to two cars so we went inside to talk numbers. They pulled my credit score multiple times in one day and then since I mentioned I was a first time car buyer, they told me my rate would be 12+ percent even though I have a good credit score. The girl helping me had to keep going back into glass office where a bunch of guys were in there praticing their golf swings. Not very professional. I left in tears because they told me my car payment for a 13k car would be $400+. The next day when I went back telling them I was financing through someone else to but the car, they tried to raise the price on the car by 1500 dollars and it wasn't until my husband came in that they weren't trying to take advantage of me. Finally when they realized I was financing through someone else they found me a rate for 8 percent lower than what they had told me the day before. The guy that helped us with the financing was very nice and friendly and made up for the other employees.
Fast forward a year later. I got into a bad accident and I was calling to try to figure out Who my gap insurance was through. I had to call three different times to finally talk to someone. Chip was helping me and he acted like he couldn't care less if I had it or not and made me feel like a complete idiot. I feel like it's something they should know how to get access to since they required me to purchase it at the time of buying the car. Overall horrible experience

Nate Speer did an excellent job at explaining different car features. He was able to answer all of my questions and really opened my eyes to what kind of car is best for me. He was great!

Take it in for an oil change at the place we bought it, cause due to Covid, they didn t have time to do it...not even driven 100 miles since we bought It, they make us PAY for the oil change labor and they tell my us it needs new tires. Only 78 miles driven, since it left THEIR lot!! The Guy who sold it to us said he would get us new tires and now he s ignoring our calls and we get the run around, when we call the main number.. So tired of dishonesty. We buy at least 1 new car a year and We would never go here again.. save your money and go to a different Mazda place. horrible horrible company!!

The service was great. The staff were easy to work with and Mikhail didn't make us feel like he was just trying to make a sale.

My wife and I received help from Jared, who was very attentive and easy-going. He knew his stuff fairly well, but didn't BS me when he didn't know. I appreciated the honesty and good humor of everyone there.

We purchased a used 2013 Mazda 3 Grand Touring with low miles and haven't had any problems for the months we have driven this across Utah, up the canyons and down the freeways.

I consider our purchase great for the value and didn't feel any frustration from them for the hours I was there asking questions and making comparisons online. They agreed to touch up the paint and even went over some other patches that they didn't necessarily have to. It took a bit longer than originally anticipated, but Jared works for us to get a loaner Mazda 6 for a few days.

Lifetime oil is great considering the quality of the synthetic and they include car washes with the purchase.

Might get myself a Miata there later in life!

Car shopping is not my favorite thing to do but Deborah and team made me feel so at ease that I didn t mind. I got a fair price on my trade in. I would highly recommend!

I traded in my 2018 3 sport for a new 2020 CX-30. The entire experience was quick, seamless, and I would even go as far as to say enjoyable! The staff at Orem Mazda is awesome, and their new showroom is incredible! They even have soda on fountain so I could get my Diet Coke fix while we finished paperwork. I will only go through Orem Mazda from here on out.

We had a fantastic experience both times we purchased a car from Orem Mazda. My wife bought a CX-9 and I bought a 6 and both times loved the way we were treated. The process of buying a new car generally stresses me out. However, I had a great experience at Orem Mazda. I appreciated the relaxed nature of Martin, Jesse, and Bryce. I didn't feel pressured. They were straight forward with me which made the car buying process so much more enjoyable. I feel like I received a great deal and was treated fairly.

Even though we ultimately didn't purchase a Mazda, we had a very positive experience with Rhett and the rest of the associates here. Rhett let us take our time looking over our options and I really felt he genuinely wanted us to be informed about our choices. Our experience was friendly and low-pressure. For someone in the market for a Mazda, I'd recommend they check them out.

Alexis in Sales, Justin and Tyler Eastman in Finance gave me the best experience i have had at a dealership so far, and I have been to quite a few. I had been meaning to get rid of my 2013 Ford Focus for months, and get something that I actually loved driving, but every dealership I went in to wouldn't give me a good trade in price, and I wasn't getting very much valuable help. -

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! I went into this dealership last week to test drive a car and was treated with such disrespect it was incredible. As I was about to test drive a vehicle the salesmen continued to be unprofessional so I went inside to speak to the manager who was not any nicer. I told him I was there to test drive a vehicle that I was planning on buying. He took the side of his worker and they told me they would not help me. I'm contacting Get Gephardt from the news to try to shine a light to the racial discrimination practices of Orem Mazda.

Service was good but what we're they thinking when they picked music to play. Swear words and sexual content. Glad I got a babysitter and didn't bring my kids!

I've purchased three cars from Orem Mazda and we absolutely love them. They're fair, honest, and appreciate returning customers. Their GM, Chip is the greatest. We love the free car washes and get all our oil changes here because it's fast and cheaper than anywhere else.

The last time I bought a car I knew it was the one from the start, so I knew what I was looking for. I was very excited to be able to work with my old school mate Sabastien. He didn t push a car on to me when I wasn t all for it, instead he found me a car under my price range with all the things I was looking for. He also works a way to make sure I could get loan. The next day Kyle sat with me for several hours finishing up the paperwork and shared several laughs with us. Nate later helped me set up the finances and got me a lower interest rate than was previously given. Before I took my new car home they replaced the old battery instead of making me purchase one myself. I love how I never felt pressured into a buy. I love my new car

Looking for a CX5 I went to D. Dahle Mazda and didn't get a great vibe. I called Orem Mazda looking for a specific model and color and got J.D. I've had nothing but bad experiences with dealerships but this is the first time I knew I wasn't being taken advantage of. Overall, Orem Mazda took great care of us and we are very satisfied with our lease of a 2016 Mazda 3. They worked hard to make sure we were happy and in the end we got a great deal. The only negative part of working with Mazda was that our salesman was not as good at finding available cars with the description we wanted as my husband. My husband found cars on the internet when our salesman didn't even know they existed at different dealerships, or maybe just did not have the time to do the research. That is the only reason we rated it 4 stars. That aside, we are very happy and would come back again.

I left before I could even fill out a credit check. They acted like I had to be special to buy a Mazda. I was passed off to three different employees because they were "so busy". Walked over to another dealership, they had me in a car within 5 minutes and didn't even look at my license. There's no wonder Mazda is one of the smallest companies in the US.

I received great service and help in selecting a vehicle and becoming familiar with it. I don't like the automatic electric parking brake but that isn't the fault of anyone at the dealership.

My wife and I came here looking for a used car. Kyle (or Karl as he is also known) helped us to find a car in our price range. Our experience was super nice since even though he was a salesman, it didn't feel like we were dealing with a salesman. He is very personable and super helpful.

First I went to get my thermostat replace and engine mount that cost me 500+ it did fix the over heating issue but 2 weeks later the coolant start leaking so went back and a guy called my and said that water pump need to be replace because it s old, but guess what it was replace 2 months before I even went there the first time. But ok I said I ll do it. Picked up my car and guess what after spending $500+ It s still broken. Everytime I go there they just try to make me change everything. Now I got a call from mazda and trying to buy my car. Go get ur car service somewhere else!!!!!

Short experience: they rip you off
Long description: I purchased a car from Orem Mazda and was given "expedited" finance because we were there way after close and had plans. I was told there were no additional warranties charged. I reviewed my paperwork after getting insurance and noticed they added Millennium Coverage onto my loan for over $2000. I purchased a 2016 vehicle. Why would I purchase additional coverage knowingly. When I contacted the sales manager, Tyler Eastman, he said he would send a cancellation form to my email. All I had to do was fill it out and the money would be put towards my loan. After receiving the form on 12/3 and sending a signed form back to Tyler and Sean Smith, my salesman, on 12/7 I have yet to see any money returned. I have sent 2 follow up emails to Tyler on 12/11 and again on 1/14 with no response.

Love these guys! Came in and Jason immediately helped me find my dream car! They worked with me on financing to get the best rate possible with my bank. I had been to several other dealerships that week trying to find the perfect car and was so impressed by Orem Mazda and their amazing customer service. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car :)

Working with Jesse B., Tyler E. and the entire Orem Mazda team was an absolute pleasure. My wife and I have purchased a number of cars over the years and each experience has involved your typical price haggling in addition to a good long 3-4 hour wait. Jesse had the car we were looking for cleaned, fueled up and ready to go before we even arrived. The payment he quoted me over the phone was the payment we settled on when we arrived at the dealership and the finance manager was kind and worked quickly after we requested he not try to sell us any add-ons. For once, we were in and out with the vehicle we wanted and the payment we were expecting in right around 90 minutes!

Well, its a car dealer. If you want a new car you have to use them.

They were super nice and great to work with. They were careful to not be pushy. They obviously still gotta sell cars but it wasn t a high pressure like other dealerships. The only reason I m not giving them 5 stars is because the key to our new car died when we got home. It just seems like they should put new batteries into the keys.

Wayne in the internet dept. was calm and helpful. We test drove a car that I could get approved for, and it's a great little used car. They listened and showed me something along the lines of what I was looking for. Mazda won an award from cargurus for 2018. Good dealership and I will return.

I bought a car off Sebastian who I fully trusted because he had been communicating with my father who lives across the country and obviously as a young girl I didn t know cars so we had to trust who ever we met, which we THOUGHT we found with Sebastian. He told me the tires were brand new, which I then took to a shop and they told me I had about 300 miles to go on them until I needed new ones. He told me the brakes were good, which were completely toast and I realized that when I almost died going down big cottonwood canyon. The sway bar also needs repairing. He was a liar and a crook! I will never return to this place again. Terrible terrible service. Also there s not even god damn fog lights in this car. They re straight up missing. And no spare key ?!?! If I could give negative stars I would.

My daughter had a mechanical issue with her Mazda on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to get her in without a service appointment, took care of the problem, finished an hour earlier than they said they would, and charged me less than the original quote. These guys just earned a loyal customer for life.

Best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had!!! We went in to trade in our older Mazda and at first it was not something we could do but, our Car Salesman and the Owner did everything in their power to make it happen for us!!! In the end it was perfect and we now have a new Mazda 2018 CX-5!!! Our Salesman s name was Wayne!!! They have another Wayne, but our Salesman s nickname is Lil Wayne!!! Ask for him!!! He WILL take care of you!!! Nicest, most honest, and straightforward Salesman ever!!! Enjoyed him working with us so much!! My husband and I were there two days in a row for at least 2 hours per day asking questions and looking at our options and he had no issue and was just so happy to help!!! Defiantly will be going back for our next vehicle and will DEFINATLY be asking for Lil Wayne!!!

If you are looking for a great deal on a great car and really great service, Orem Mazda is the place. To date, our family has purchased 7 cars from them. We traded in a used car for a new one several years ago and we just keep going back because they make the whole experience so pleasant. We have recommended several friends who have gone there as well, and they have all been happy with their experience.

Chip, the general manager, has really been great to work with, those who help with the paperwork have been efficient, and all the sales guys have been great. Tyrone, the salesman who helped us most recently, was fantastic.

We take our cars there for regular service as well because it is inexpensive, the guys in the service department get us in and out according to our schedules, and we love the free car washes for life and the tire replacement program.

I have driven and owned a lot of different kinds of cars, but I love the Mazdas because of their dependability and their value for the money, not to mention how much fun they are to drive. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone because I don't think you'll be disappointed.
