Run! They are far from honest. If you want to negotiate price they will tell you they do not negotiate because they are a "internet based company".

Optimum RV is an excellent place to purchase a camp. The sales team went above and beyond to help us select and purchase our 2019 puma travel trailer. The walkthrough team Dawn, Jay ,and Gary, were very knowledgeable in answering all the many questions we had. They were very friendly and attentive while we waited for Gary to install brake assist on my pickup, which he stayed after hours to finish and make sure we understood how it worked and that everything work correctly.I would highly recommend checking this place out if you're interested in purchasing a camper or RV. We were very pleased with everyone for purchase first camper. If it were possible we would give way more than five stars

Inquiring about an RV on the internet. Was intentionally misinformed in an attempt to get me on the lot. I drove 400 miles to look at an RV that had been sold prior to informing me it was available!

The price is set in stone, along with a take it or leave it, we do not care attitude from sales all the way up to top management. I only wish I could give this place minus 5 stars. My camp/rv desires immensely depleted after a mistake of a trip to this place.
They obviously forget that a rv is a luxury purchase, "not a necessity"!! You choosing to walk into their establishment obviously means nothing.

I'm not comfortable with Optimum Rv. Felt very pressured by Zach in sales to have a deadline to close the purchase on a motorhome, financing was in order good too go. After several communications back and forth I will take my business elsewhere even if I spend more money! I NOT RECOMMENDED .

I want to recommend your sales rep (Will Heath). First of all, Will is a great listener. Within minutes of our arrival, he found exactly what we were looking for. He answered all questions and made the buying process simple and stress free. Will has an easy going personality and seems to have the customers best interest at heart. He was a pleasure to work with. Hats off to the financial manager (Dennis) as well who was very informative. Basically, my wife and I never felt pressured and actually enjoyed the experience.

Optimum RV is the best place everrrrr! It's like the RV version of Disney World! Travis and Denver are the best most knowledgable sales men you can ever work with. If you need an RV this is no doubt the place to go.

DO NOT GO HERE! They ROBBED me of my money!!! I bought a $60k unit from them and had to try four months to get ahold of the service department when they would finally answer they would hang up! When I finally got an appointment for my 12 month service it was there for a MONTH I made arrangements to come get it once I got there they had no idea my trailer was there or who I was, before giving it back they had me pay $900.00 when I saw my unit the battery was dead which servicing the battery was apart of the service I paid for my slide out still was greases or my awning along with EVERYTHING the service requires .. the only thing they did was put w40 on my stairs ... the service man that walked out with us agreed nothing was done AS WELL as the service manager Vinnie who we talked to 4 times which 2 he had an attitude like I was annoying him and I had to hear about what a bad day that he had...asked to speak to his boss Paul which he never even had the decency to call us ... end result they didn't give us any money back so now I'm going to dispute the charge and have my lawyer contact them

We walked for what seemed like half mile thru muddy roads, finally returned to office and got a golf cart. Salesman Sean took us for a very rough ride thru mud til he got cart stuck in the worst of the soupy mud. We proceeded to continue on by foot(my husband's shoes now ruined) thru mud, roots, just nasty. Finally reached the Rockwood 5th wheel, nose buried in mud all closed (slide) up. Had to walk all the way back (ride never showed up) Very unprofessional business if you ask me. Maybe because i wasn't looking to buy new. I am so disappointed.

Bought camper there buying was the easy part been there 3 times for service all 3 times were bad had it last time over 2 months was told it was ready got there to pick up work was not even done I took the camper and left never will use again and for service I would never recommend them

I went to many different RV companies and by far this company was the best around, friendly staff and my sales person James Godsey did a fantastic job showing me which RV was a perfect fit for my family, he sat back listened to my questions and never tried to push me into buying. I ended up getting a great deal on exactly what I was looking for.

As for the parts department that's another story. They don't follow up with their customers when they are waiting on parts. Poor customer service. When I called Kevin he told me that he had to wait on a customer before he could call me back which that was rude because I'v been waiting first and I had to call him back. I would not recommend them.

Knowledgeable staff, huge selection of travel trailers. Not many class a coaches.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit today. Our sales person Maria was very nice and I appreciated her honesty. However when I spoke on the phone with the Internet sale rep All before our visit, she told me the camper that we were interested in was available and when I asked if she had other campers that were similar in price and size she told me they had several and that they had much more inventory on the lot than listed online. When we arrived, Maria informed is that the the camper we were interested in had been sold and she only had one other trailer In the price range we were looking for. After a long muddy golf cart ride, then walking in mud (that our flip flops were sinking into leaving us with dirty feet), Maria showed us the other trailer and frankly it was a disgusting dump that I wouldn t have paid $1k for. The trailer hitch was actually sitting on top of the mud and people had tracked mud all through the camper. Maybe they cater to people looking to spend more money on a new trailer but if that s the case then they shouldn t mislead people just to get them in the door. We drove over an hour to get there and it was a complete waste of our precious time off and gas.

We had a wonderful experience here. Brought our three kids and our sales rep Don Mann treated us like family. Showed us a ton of trailers helping us find what we liked. Went above and beyond, was super helpful, and friendly.

We purchased a 28ft Kodiak Ultra Light bunk house travel trailer a few weeks ago. I will say that Brandon,and Deb were awesome! We had a great experience. We told them what we needed, and they took us right to it, and we bought it. We love it!

They dont listen to what you are asking for. The sales associates are rude.

We stopped here just to look around and thanks to Dominica, we were able to narrow down what it is that we did and didn t want in our Rv. She is extremely personable and a pleasure to work with. Just bought a RV and Gabe Valenzuela was awesome. He was with us all day showing us a ton of RV until we found the perfect one for our family. He is very patient, informative and just all around great guy. Got a great deal. And now on to our adventures :)

First time buyer of a Camper and what an awesome group of people to have them help us with the process. Heath is an awesome salesman, who actually listens to his customers. We told him exactly what we wanted to see and he drove us around looking at the many many types of campers available. We purchased a Sonic Lite and so far are very pleased with it. The whole process is amazing; looking, deciding, the walk through, the setup and every other detail I missed. Thanks for making this big purchase as easy and as enjoyable as possible!

One star instead of zero because our sales person worked very hard to sell us the perfect RV. Unfortunately, even though our credit went through immediately, it took the finance department days to get the breakdown of payment to us, and only happened after several texts, e mails and phone calls. There was excuse after excuse, apologies and continued misunderstandings . The contract was finally sent only to be missing our agreed upon trade in information( which we caught, but no one on their end did). When questioned, after more excuses and apologies from our salesman , we were informed that they made a mistake and it would be an additional 8,000$$! Needless to say we canceled the purchase and would advise buyer beware if using their finance department.

Stopped in only to take a quick peak @ a 31 ft Class C....Thanks to Richie & Don who gave us. Exactly what we asked for......until my survey is done......pulling the trigger is not an option.....

So far horrible experience. We showed up to "pick up" our new $70,000 5th wheel and two days later STILL was not ready. They delivered it to our home WITHOUT fixing every thing. They are still giving us the run around about whos fault it is. They are claiming the rv came from the factory with damage. Honestly, even if it did, they are responsible for ensuring everything is in working order BEFORE it leaves. HORRIBLE experience!!! We have waited a month for them to make it right. STILL waiting....
I will update this review once we get the final decision.
So,....got our 5thwheel back today. They've had it a month, nothing fixed!!! Pictures to follow

Buyer beware, the insurance they try to sell you is a scam! The finance department is misleading. And the extensive inspection they do on used RVs does not include the tires. The tire insurance only covers tires if they blow out all the insurance they sold us (8k worth) and none it helped us with tires. We cancelled all the insurance and here we are about 5 months later and Optimum RV is still holding our 8k. Furthermore, when you cancel insurance the insurance company refunds it to Optimum RV. So thanks for selling us a bunch of rotted tires, thanks for telling us the insurance is bumper to bumper , and give us back our freakin money back!

I'm a first-time RV buyer and had an excellent experience at Optimum RV. I had visited other RV dealers and these guys know what they're doing. My sales rep, Don Mann, had only been on the job 4 days. He made the process stress-free and easy and didn't pressure me at all. If he didn't have an answer to any of my questions, he immediately got one for me. He's also been invaluable to me since the purchase as I have contacted him with questions several times. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Conner, Dawn Bye, Jim Ropella and Charlie. Everyone of these guys (and girl) were fantastic to deal with. Even their transport team (Rory & Debbie) were great. I would highly recommend Optimum to anyone looking to buy a new or used RV.

I work for state fairs and trade shows three to four times a year. A few weeks ago I demolished my SUV and decided to buy a Class C motor home to cut back on my lodging cost; which is usually quite expensive. After doing research on RV dealers I found Optimum RV. Jaime (my salesperson) was extremely helpful and very courteous in every respect one could imagine so I did purchase my new RV from him. After a day or so a thunderstorm and wind damaged my new RV so I brought it back and Kevin the service manager got me fixed up and back on the road quickly and in expensively! I can't say enough about everyone that helped me with my purchase and those that helped me in service after my purchase! I thank the whole staff for valuing my time and money! I will definitely recommend purchasing from them! Thanks Everyone!

From Charles and Melanie Hepler, Our salesperson at the Ocala dealership was Gabe Valenzuela, he seemed to be a nice guy working hard to support his family while making his best effort to help new customers find the best RV for new adventures. We originally purchased a 2011 Forest River Sunseeker Class C RV. paying AGWS USA Travel Care $7,707.50 and the Gap paid to AGWS $1.495.00. We had it for 2 weeks and found that it had way too many problems and took it back. Honestly, the dealership was not happy with us but did allow us to trade it in for a newer RV at a HUGE financial loss, at this point we had no options. At this dealership when the salesperson tells you that it will be thoroughly inspected, pristine, engine, tires, electrical, brakes...what that really means is, and I quote from an employee on the lot "we drive every trade in and if the brakes don`t grind it`s good". Unbelievable!!! So as part of the trade in is the cancelation of the AGWS USA Travel Care $7,707.50 and the Gap paid to AGWS $1,495.00, which we were promised would be refunded to us within 6 weeks. It has now been 9 weeks and our salesperson Gabe Valenzuela refuses to take our calls, he hangs up on us, he won`t return our voicemails and the finance office will not return our calls as well. The Better Business Bureau has extensive complaints about this business. Had we known, we NEVER would have come here. Please send the refund you promised us.

We bought our Sporttrek by Venture last year and the sales process was flawless.

We have had the coach in for service for warranty issues and non warranty issues and the service has been top notch. Debbie and Toni are my go to women in parts and service. I just bought an AC unit not from Optimum RV but they installed the unit professionally. No complaints and all praises.

George at Optimum RV Ocala helped us find our replacement travel trailer. They are professional, willing to work with your needs, and have competitive pricing. The process was extremely smoothe and I'd recommend George to my friends and family .

Was given a quote over the phone and when we went to the dealership they denied everything they told us over the phone

Not a great place for used campers and rv s they don t maintain what s on the property and have no problem selling damaged goods , the techs and salesman are forced to tiptoe around all issues , I m dealing with 2k dollars is roof damage on a 2017 also radio dvd shorted out and almost burnt the whole unit up , when asked the offer to fix one thing not the other , every camper had water damage and they do not care screwing you is the way they make money , go any where else

We had a good first experience but when we got home in Kentucky we had several things wrong, the vent fan was not working, the window fans did not work some of the dash lights did not work, and there were several other things not working, but we didn't find any of this out until we were on our way back to Kentucky. We were told everything would be checked out to make sure it was in working order, we had to take it to the shop when we got home. We finally got to take our first trip in it with the grandkids and the material on the furniture fell completely apart, the toilet leaked all over the place, water went everywhere from the ice maker, and the TVs did not work. So much for making sure everything was in working order. They sold us an expensive extended warranty and told us it is good, so much for that we have been told so far it won't cover anything. I have tried to contact them about the problems but no one will get back with me. They got their money so let's stick it to the customer.

My husband and I just purchased a 2019 Kodiak Cub travel trailer from Optimum RV, and I can't speak highly enough of our sales rep, HEATH CLARK He listened carefully to what we said we wanted; and even though we were there to look at older used models, we ended up purchasing the first one he showed us -- the new 2019 Kodiak Cub -- because it met our needs more perfectly than the older models we thought we wanted. We didn't think we could afford a brand new travel trailer, but the price point on the Kodiak Cub was comparable to the used ones we'd seen online and were considering.

CHARLIE, our service technician, was outstanding. He walked us through the unit and explained all its intricacies so well that even this old lady was able to understand how to work everything. We decided to upgrade from the manual jack to an electric one, and CHARLIE quickly and expertly installed it as we waited. He is a true professional and an asset to the Optimum RV team!

The only issue we had was confusion on the balance due upon pickup, and that was because our planned trade-in (which was on consignment elsewhere) was sold a few days prior to our planned pickup date, so that changed the amount of sales tax due. After I had a hissy fit and said some nasty things to HEATH's manager, my husband pointed out why I was wrong. Gotta love that man. And yes, I did apologize to HEATH and his manager. :)

I have to say Optimum RV excels as the go to RV facility. The long and challenging search for the perfect RV was finally settled with the most patient sales professional that we had encountered. Dave W took the time to show us an amazing number of rigs carefully tailoring our search to find exactly what we wanted. Optimum has a HUGE selection of new and used units. They find the perfect rig for you because they can listen and understand your needs and will show you the ones you want. The prices we saw at Optimum were lower than other places we had been to by a considerable margin . I think because of the number of RVs that the sell. We are super happy with our new Heartland 5th wheel. Thanks again Dave... we may now be the champions of the difficult buyers, but you took great care of us and helped us find just the right home on wheels.

Won't stop calling me everyday for a month after looking at a RV. Sales manager was talking bad about another dealer to try and get our business.

Inconsistent communication between sales and management. Definitely felt like we were being swindled. They tried to charge us $3k more for a used coach than we could find brand new for the exact same model. Then the manager tried to make excuses for why it was so much more...bad bad business. No integrity or any respect for the customer. Just trying to make a sale. Spend your money ANYWHERE else!!

Kevin worked very diligently to resolve my issue knowing that I had a timeline to meet we were going away for a long period and I needed my fifth wheel back also my brother had an issue with his trailer and Kevin resolved his issue after the trailer was in possession of optimum for almost a month before anyone touched it Kevin would call us back when we were unable to get anyone else to respond to our requests had Kevin not been a employee at this company I truly believe I would not be coming back to this company I apologize for taking so long to write this review I believe that this gentleman is truly an asset to this organization

Don't ever go here they don't take care of their Arvie's they smell like mold and all have water damage.

I bought my camper from here and the sales staff were super friendly and knowledgable. The service department was a little rough at first but I've had a good experience with them after we took it back to get everything reevaluated and working properly. I would recommend buying a camper here to anyone looking for a RV.

Just to be plain honest had it not been for Heath Clark I would never bought from them. If you want to be treated like someone cares about your buying a rv see Heath. My wife and I had the pleasure of spending most of the day Saturday with him while waiting on the rv we bought from him. Thanks Heath. The only reason it is not a five star is the way it started out when I lost Heath as a salesman.

Gabriel my salesman was great. Showed me all the coaches I wanted to see (about 12) and didn t rush me through my process of elimination. Paperwork was pretty smooth to deal with and my final walk through was great. The tech took his time to thoroughly show me everything I wanted to see and how to use everything correctly. Best experience so far buying an RV. This one was number 6. And optimum rv had the biggest selection of coaches to chose from compared to other dealerships. Very good experience

Drove out to see a rv they had listed check online the night before and that morning got there and they both RV was sold they dont mark them sold or sale pending and they false advertise .they put a price on and then hit about 5000 or 6000 more ..the lady told she dont know why they dont take them
Down cause the one trailer was sold two days prior to me coming out there and then said in The Next breath they dont take them down till they leave the lot .they are scammers poor business

Has a big selection of RVs, but you have to slug through the mud to get to things. They did take the time to explain the terms, but I will need more education then I got. It could be that I just have expensive taste and a poor budget.

Visited Optimum on multiple occasions while in the search for our RV. Our salesman, George Rolle, was patient, kind, accommodating, and extremely helpful. Large selection of RVs, easy purchasing process, and quick installation of our fifth wheel hitch. Glen in the service department is also wonderful, especially helpful and patient with our initial walk through. Thank you Optimum for this pleasant experience!

Only the man that showed the campers was honest your money people take your deposit tell you when to pick it up then call you say your denied and then make you wait 48 hrs before you get your deposit bk very bad business

We had been shopping for a 5th wheel for several months and found large chain dealers to be dishonest and unwilling to work with our trade in. Richard Wieczkowski was very knowledgeable and responsive during the entire process of finding a unit and finalizing the deal. We love our new Key Stone Alpine. The worst RV dealership I have ever dealt with! Stay away at all costs!

We took our coach to Optimum RV in Ocala FL to sell on consignment. They had our RV for approximately 28 days before we ever saw on their web page not to mention that they hurried and cashed our check 3 days after we gave it to them. We called Drake on May 28th to find out why it wasn t on their web page. Then on June 1 2020 it was there. Then Jimmy Lee sold it on the 3rd of June, he called us all excited that he sold it in less than 30 days. This RV was in very good condition so they couldn t use that as an excuse for not listing, it so they used Covid ok we ll let them have that. Then on the 4th of June Jimmy Lee sent us a text saying that the coach was just pullling out and the family that bought it loved it. So now our contract reads that we will be paid no less than 15 days after sale and delivery of coach. Now we re being told that it s 10 days after the funding then it was 10-20 after the delivery. So now they changed the delivery date to the 10th. I so wish I would have read the reviews before I went to them. All the reviews read if they owe you monies they won t pay you answer or calls, texts, emails even if you let them know your coming over they all leave or so your told that. STAY AWAY FROM OPTIMUM RV. The General Manager John throws his Salesman Jimmy Lee under the bus saying he lied but then in the next breath he didn t know what he was talking about.

Worked with James Godsey, about 2 weeks ago buying our 1st travel trailer. We are completely new to this and he did a great job showing us around different models. He actually nailed everything we wanted/needed on the 1st model he showed us. Would work with him again the future, thanks James!

Gabe V was our sales person this time , bought from them 4 times before this was number 5 just looking for a little pop up for our granddaughter to camp in , a step in the direction so she can understand us and our love for RV s , Gabe was so much help was just looking till Gabe showed us just what we were looking for so we bought again then Gabe drove all the way to our home to pick up a check , we live out in the forest about 20 miles away , he was awesome not giving up , not like I m the easiest person to deal with just because I do want what I want , so find him if you go there you ll love him I m pretty sure .....

We purchased our 1st Camper from Rich at the Tampa RV show on Sunday. We are excited about the choice we made. Rich worked very hard to earn our business. Looking forward to this new adventure.

Recently drove to Optimum RV from south eastern NC to purchase a truck bed camper that I found on line. Prior to, I called and was put into contact with Joe, who is retired military, an all around great guy and no pressure sales man who treated me like family. We worked out a deal over the phone with a good trade price for my camper and the purchase of the one I wanted. All mounting brackets were pre ordered for my truck and on site when I got there waiting for installation. Upon arrival Joe met me with a hand shake and lunch, then we looked at the camper I had originally wanted. Keep in mind I'm going from a 28' toy hauler to a truck bed camper. I quickly changed my mind to a different truck bed camper because it was a bit bigger than the original one I was looking at. Now the big question, does it fit in my truck? Joe called over Gary who is a top notch technician and true professional in his field, he assured me after some research and simple modification to my truck that it would safely work. So... I bought the bigger of the two they had a made it 9hrs back to NC with absolutely no issues with how my truck handled. Over all I had a great experience with Optimum RV, from the sales manager, financing manager and hats off to Joe and Gary. Gary deserves a raise and Joe should have a paid day off to play golf. I won't buy another camper anywhere elce, this is my 4th camper purchase and by far the best experience. Not to mention I got a small much needed vacation in Ocala where there are beautiful state parks and clear water springs. Thanks everyone for making my camper buying experience a pleasurable one.

PS you can't make everyone happy but they definitely try at Optimum RV.

This place was fantastic. We have heard about it on the radio all the time; finally we just decided to make our move out of state. This was the first place we went and felt we had best experience for first time camper owners. The sales guy David Walls was the most caring and took care of our needs 100% (super friendly and joked with us). They even went the extra mile and helped us get set up and Rich the service manager was great with making sure our camper was perfect and clean. The search for the right size rv was easy; there was no pressure and they worked so well with our budget. Honestly I could not have been more happy with everything from start to finish. Thank you so much guys!!!

No organization..Lost our keys to camper..Then said we never brought them..Husband told her to go look and she finnaly found them..When we bout the camper salesman was awesome..But when we pulled out of lot the atenna fell off camper..Ever since things have gone wrong..Taken back twice to have same things fixed..Just a nightmare..Nobody wants to admit that their not efficient, they take parts from other campers to fix yours..That's what happened to ours..Now they have beautiful campers and work with you but the overall maintenance and prep needs tons of work. There are no standards of quality for repairs.

I met the sales team at the show in Tampa. They lured me in and got me to agree to trade in my trailer for a new one...2 hours and 3 people later I was told they could not find a bank that met my needs, ( of course not its Sunday) and that they would look on Monday morning and get back to me one way or the other.
Well Monday came and gone, so did Tuesday and Wednesday....still nothing.
I should have just said no to them in the beginning.....i only had a few hours to spend at the show, and because of promises and positive attitude towards the trailer convincing me I would be taking it home, even at one having me say I would take delivery the following weekend, I walked away with no sale, and missing the show.

Just another bunch of Vultures with negative promises and bait n switch attitude....
