I came to the Omni Hotel with a friend and was struck by this beatiful Steinway in the lobby. I sat down, lifted the keylid, and started to play. Less than 2 minutes later, I was asked to stop... Not because of my playing ability, but because the piano isn't supposed to be played. It had been over 6 months since someone had even attempted to play this beautiful instrument. Shame on you, Omni, pianos are meant to be played, not serve as a pretentious status symbol of your overpriced hotel that has people pay $5 to charge their phone at the special "phone charging station." This place is ridiculous. A disgrace to good people who work hard for everything that they have.

The city of Atlanta placed over 20 uprights around the city only a week ago for the general public to enjoy (along with the sheet music of classical conposers)... Then they donated said pianos to the underprivileged educational systems in the area. Let people express themselves through the language of music, or get rid of the piano. Musicians everywhere (including myself) dream of having something this beautiful to play.

For what is worth, I hate what this place stands for.

As far as guest service and experience, you won't get anything at all unless you pay for even if you have already shelled out money for the pretentious room that is no better than motel 6.

The Atlanta Omni always goes above and beyond to make our stay top notch each and every time that we stay there! With such a busy football Labor Day weekend we still had everything we needed, ordered, had fixed in a very timely manner! Their staff always is personal and friendly! We love the extras that are included being a select guest! They really take care of you at the Atlanta Omni!!
We will be back!!

Wonderful staff and great location. Very friendly and helpful all around. Love the view from the balcony. The TV "signal" kept freezing up and the TV only worked about 50% of the time. The beds were also below average and were rough to sleep. Still love this place overall and if they would lower the valet parking fee (it's really high), and get new beds, I would give 5 stars!

We stayed here for the first time yesterday Nov. 17th. Reserved our room months ago. We show up at 2:45 pm and are told check in is not allowed until 4pm per policy. Lobby is packed with guests waiting on rooms. No place to sit. At 4pm line to check in out the door. Told our room not ready, no explanation. Told that even though check in at 4pm there is no guarantee your room will be ready. Irate guests all around in same situation. Asked to speak with manager, told manager will call, never did. Finally after much insistence we are told they have no king bed rooms.. ok why did you let us reserve one months ago. Finally get a room with what we are told are 2 queen beds, that are actually full size. Room is outdated, hallways dirty. The only good thing was the proximity to the Benz. We will never stay here again. If your thinking of staying here.. don t! Terrible service!

If you need help you may have to wait and wait and still wait and they will not pick up the phone despite 4 call backs each on hold for 5 to 7 minutes. Horrible . After 20 minutes trying, i never spoke to anyone but their person who answered thw phone and directed me to mutiple departments... with the same results. No thanks... too many other good hotel in Atlanta.

This is the place to stay when your in Atlanta. Gorgeous property with top notch staff. I couldn't be happier with the view of downtown atlanta or the amenities inside the hotel. It was a great place to come back to after being on the convention floor all day. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, at the center of Atlanta. Room was comfortable with all expected amenities. The centralized location makes it easy to visit sites like the CNN studio. Only drawbacks would be the daily charge for internet access, and high valet parking rates.

Convenient and well connected, the Omni CNN Center boasts rooms with geometric patterned carpets, retro furnishings, and floor to ceiling windows for a stylish stay in the city.

Away from the rooms, guests here can enjoy dining in the onsite restaurant complete with seasonal menu all while enjoying views of Centennial Olympic Park while they eat. There s a fitness centre with a sun terrace, but you can also request a fitness kit for your in-room vacation yoga sessions.

Location: Situated near many top attractions, this hotel overlooks the CNN headquarters (it s actually attached to it) and is close to the World of Coca Cola, the Martin Luther King Jr. Centre, Georgia Aquarium, and the Children s Museum of Atlanta.

Got a last minute deals from Hotwire and lucked out to get the Omni! Staff was extremely friendly and happy to handle any request. Room was amazing with an awesome view.

The only negative aspects was the parking. $35 a night valet parking was the only real option, with a public parking garage a few blocks away charging $20 the only other. This fee should be waived for all overnight guests as they obviously make plenty on parking for three CNN Center itself.

Not sure why I see all the negative reviews.

We couldn't be happier.
Milk and cookie was waiting for the little one, he also received a backpack with some games, a binocular, and crayons and paper.
Room is very clean, great view of the Olympic park
Complementary drinks brought to our room in the morning. (Coffee, juice)
Impeccable service.
Will stay here again when in Atlanta.

The hotel staff made my stay as enjoyable as they could. I completed a survey and am still waiting to hear back (I could go to 4 or 5 stars if the Hotel contacts me back).

It's definitely the place to network in Atlanta.

My bed had soft firmness and I could hear the person through the wall getting excited about an NBA game.

Great place to stay, parking rates are a bit high at $45 a night. Rooms are quiet, all hotel staff encountered during my stay were professional and knowledgable. I'd stay at this location again when in Atlanta..

Mixed feelings about this hotel. My first night here from London, Lyft driver was told North Tower (where you can get dropped off and get help with your luggage) was closed and to drop me off at a side entrance. She did and I waited 15mins for someone, anyone to show up. Eventually gave up and wandered around that floor for another 10mins without seeing a soul. I had two 23kg bags, a handbag and my hand luggage so you can imagine how stressful this was dragging my luggage around. Eventually found two lost souls who helped with luggage - they were also guests and lost in the labyrinth of halls. We went floor by floor and on the 4th floor, we found a check in desk with a note saying go to South Tower across the bridge. Took 35mins in all with all my luggage before I found a single member of staff. I was not impressed! Their check-in personnel were very nice and very apologetic but during my week long stay, I noticed other harassed looking guests crossing the bridge with their luggage from the North to the South tower. Check-out was much smoother and way more pleasant and they gave me an extra hour free in the room cause of my late flight. Room was good size, got very small bottles of water from Reception when I checked in but would have preferred if it was in the very empty fridge. Machine for making coffee provided but a kettle for tea lovers would have been very thoughtful as well along with some tea bags. Loved the bathroom with it's quirky wall paper and also had a balcony that peeked into CNN next door. They have a service for holding luggage and you can call a cab from there for $32 (standard price) to the airport. The Hotel is also interlinked to CNN, Georgia World Congress Centre and Hall of Fame.

We got in very late after our flight and our room was not totally cleaned... (floor needed to be vacuumed, splatters on the wall) the night staff was very fast in getting someone up to clean up what was messy. (Staff really was so wonderful!). We had a great view! The food was alright though, and for what we paid, we were kind of hoping for a bit nicer of an experience...

Awful. Reserved room not booked. Room not complete clean. Rude greeting staff. Impossible to find Night Staff.

I ve heard great things about Omni, and I did not expect such a bad experience. I definitely will not be back.

Worst hotel experience I have ever experienced. Upon arrival and check-in I was told that due to a convention, that they no longer have a room for me and that they were relocations me 7 miles away to some random hotel. It is important information that I had already prepaid for a non refundable room, so there was absolutely no risk to the hotel in filling the room. The management on-site was extremely rude about the situation and was so matter a fact and unaccomdating. Only after 3 separate conversations with management, me demanding that they find me a room, and 2 hours later did they magically find a room for me at the hotel.

Omni is extremely unprofessional as a notice was given to me that they were relocating me until I showed up to check in. I strongly suggest that if you are planning to stay at an Omni, DON T because you may find yourself being relocated to another hotel because they clearly have no idea to manage a hotel and their customer service is the worst in the business.

I asked for a room with a view and one agent set me up with a great view but when I trouble with my credit card and walked to the side to fix the issue and came back, he gave me an older room on the first floor, no view. I went to another agent and he promised to fix it but his boss looking gangsta pulled me aside and said I would have to pay for the view which neither agents mentioned. Angry, I took the bottom room. Then I told them a new credit card was being FedEx'd and to tell me when it came. I asked everyday for four days. They said nothing came. But upon check out, a postal handling fee of $5 was on there and showed they did get it two days prior to checkout! They charge $5 to hold your mail and not notify you it came? Needless to say, I was not charged the $5 but after my complaints, the manager gave me a bottle of wine of my choice. It was nice but I don't drink. I will never stay there again.

If you're looking for a huge, crowded hotel with zero charm and minimal standards of service and cleanliness, this is your place. Be prepared to wait in line for everything from check in to check out to even using the elevators. I was with a large group using the convention center next door, the hotel seemed unprepared even though everything that went wrong could have been predicted in advance and solved with minimal effort. The hot water in the bathroom was unreliable--several times, especially early in the morning when all the guests were showering, lukewarm was about as hot as it got. The coffee shop "Morsel" features Pete's coffee, but it is burnt and old tasting. On another visit, I ordered a cappuccino and was given a latte. The barista informed me that they are the same thing, so I guess I was just lucky to get some combination of coffee and milk. Ditto for the bar in the south tower, it was unattractive and dated, felt more like the battle-worn lounge of a 1980s Holiday Inn then what one would expect of a large, urban hotel. To cap things off, one of my colleagues left his ipad in their room after checkout. After initially reporting that they had found it, they then claimed that it wasn't actually his and within an hour he had an email from Apple saying that someone was trying to erase it.

My stay was great. The staff was friendly for the most part. Did have a issue with one of the housekeepers though. She would not give me towels unless I let her in to clean my room which I did not want or need.

Nice hotel, great staff. Here for a 5 day event and the service and staff have been amazing! The lunch buffet for our event has been really good with a variety of great food. The front desk had been very helpful and accommodating for event attendees that weren't staying at the hotel.

I really liked this hotel. Friendly and very clean. Breakfast buffet was fresh, big selection and delicious. Very close to downtown attractions. The only thing that bothered me was no free internet. It is free if you join a free Omni Club so I did join but was charged anyway. Told the front desk when checking out and looks like it came off then back on again? The TV signal kept going out which is weird.

I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. I was extremely disappointed this time. The water comes out dirty and when I called the front desk they stated just let it run. The TV feed constantly paused or studdered. Some of the lights didn't work, hallway light flickered. The prices were still Omni prices. Save yourself the disappointment and stay at the AC down the street

This place is gorgeous! We stayed in the South Tower, which is where the ATL location for CNN is based. The room was nice and spacious, and the balcony was awesome. They're all inside so you can sit out and relax without having to worry about the weather. I can't wait to go back!

Honestly I just went in for coffee, and I suspect the new guy at the cashier accidentally charged me an extra dollar. Hard to expect fresh coffee right before closing. Pretty interior though

Quiet Lobby. A bit difficult to figure out where you're going as to where you have to use two escalators and elevators just to understand the concept of the building itself. There are many security guards and Liaisons to help you along the way, though.

Going Downhill???

Going Downhill???
I've been staying here for five years but this experience was not pleasant. Customer service was less than helpful.
Housekeeping staff disregarded my in room notes regarding coffee setups.
And to top it off the last night of my seven night stay I had room key issues twice. On the second visit to the south tower desk I was asked to provide a reservation number to prove that I was staying there AFTER I had shown my photo ID. That's insane.
