It was a nice hotel that was at a convenient place and was connected to a food court, but the elevators and vending machines didn't work well, one of the lamps in our room caught on fire due to lack of maintenece, and the hotel's layout was crude and there was no map of the grounds to assist in finding our rooms, any exits, etc. 3 stars because it was a relatively nice hotel but was also lacking in some important areas.
The hotel was very nice. The valet service was quick and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant also had very good food. My only complaint was that the room was not as clean as it could have been.
Very contemporary and clean but the bar was too small and very expensive. You can stay down the street for 1/2 the price with a complementary breakfast
Convenient to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Philips Arena. South Tower is scheduled for renovation. A little dated but fine. Most of the staff was courteous. Rooms had appropriate amenities like hairdyer, refrigerator.
Rooms were spacious. Rooftop pool and hot tub were amazing. Would definitely stay again
Awesome Hotel to visit. I go every year for MomoCon convention.
Excellent service. Perfect location for the Hawks game!
The Good: Conveniently located to the aquarium, Coca Cola, etc. Rooms were clean-ish (other than a layer of grime in the bathroom around the decorative edges of the counter top and mirror and some half-eaten gummy worms left under a table by a previous guest). Beds were pretty comfortable. Room was quiet inside (halls were a bit noisy) and we were able to use a small fan for white noise to drown out most of the traffic noise. Our room on the 9th floor had a fabulous view. Extra towels that I requested before arrival were provided on all but 2 nights of our stay.
The Bad: Despite joining the Select Guest program before arriving it was never mentioned upon checking in. No one provided me with the info for the complimentary free internet (which you have to pay extra for if you don t join as a select guest). I had to call down on our second night to get the info. Any perks of the select program were inconsistent (we got a paper on mornings 2-3 but not 4, son got a cookie and milk on nights 2-3 but not 4, turn down service was provided on nights 1-3 but not 4, etc). I was not provided the morning beverage service and when I asked if that was a perk of the facility no one seemed to have a direct answer. I had to call and ask for toilet paper more than once. I had to email the loyalty ambassador to ask where the microwave was and it ended up being way too far from our room to be convenient. Extra pillow I requested was never provided. There was an elevator and escalator out of service and though it wasn t a direct inconvenience for us (there are plenty of other elevators) they didn t seem to be in any hurry to fix anything broken. The pool was closed for emergency repairs which also meant no access to the hot tub. We only book hotels with pools because our son loves to swim and the hot tub meant we could soak our tired feet and backs (after long days of walking/sight seeing etc) so this was a HUGE disappointment to our entire family. We were offered the option to go to the Turner Althletic Club and use the lap-pool there then have the hotel comp our entrance fee ($15 per person/per day) when we checked out. We decided we didn t want to have to walk through the busy lobbies of both towers as well as the super busy CNN center in our swimwear and then walk back through wet. It just wasn t convenient/practical. There are no vending machines at all for snacks. You can get drinks ($2.50 for 20 oz bottle) near the ice machines.
The Ugly: $45 per day for valet is required and charged when you check in. This meant that $250 of our food/fun budget was tied up with valet services that we didn t want/need. We ended up walking everywhere to avoid the hassle of having the car brought around and additional costs of tipping the valet employees whenever we wanted to come and go. (The info about valet parking and the $50 a night incidental charges aren't mentioned online until after you ve completed your reservation and your cancellation date has passed.) The prices at the hotel restaurants are outrageous. We ended up rushing back to the hotel and eating our meals at the CNN Center s fast food joints (which close really early). Our room wasn t ready when we arrived (we did get there before check in) so we dropped our bags off and were told to go enjoy our day and they d be in our room when we returned. They weren t. I gave the front desk my claim ticket and was given the wrong luggage. Ours was missing so I was invited to go with an employee into the storage area to see if we could find our bags. They had been removed from the trolley and piled up in a corner. Unfortunately, my laptop bag was on the bottom of the pile and the case is now cracked. Thankfully, my camera which was also in the bag wasn t damaged.
All in all- yes it was convenient, clean enough and quiet enough , but otherwise I didn t find anything about the hotel, our stay, or their member program spectacular enough to say I d definitely stay there next time.
Our favorite downtown Hotel awesome location and exceptional service.
Good tour of CNN towers, and nice to learn how things work inside. Our guide was great. And it was cheaper to cover this as part of City pass.
Best views of the city. Convenient to downtown attractions as well as a variety of restaurants.
The North Tower has large rooms with great views. It isn't downtown, but close to the the sport venues.
Worst hotel to stay at. If you want to get robbed then you should stay here. Horrible customer service and worst staff I haved ever seen. Do not stay here...
This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. My friend and I traveled from out of state for a wedding for which we had planned on attending for over a year. We payed $32/night for valet parking. Self-parking is $27/night so you feel compelled to pay the extra few dollars for the CONVENIENCE. The wedding we were attending was set to start at 5:30 and only took approximately 6 minutes to drive from the hotel. At 5 pm, we called valet from the room for them to pull our car around. We arrived downstairs 15 min later only to sit in hopes that the car would pull around at any second so that we would not be late for the start of the wedding. Those hopes were ruined when 5:30 rolled around and the car had still not pulled up. At this point, we began to fervently ask questions to which we were told the keys to the car could not be located at that point and they were in the process of finding the keys. The car keys were eventually found and the car was pulled around at 5:53. Needless to say, we missed the entire wedding ceremony, which was the entire reason we took time off from work, booked flights/hotel, etc. It was heartbreaking, as this was a very dear friend to us. We were highly upset and frustrated and requested not only a $32 comp for that night, but reimbursement of valet parking for BOTH nights we were guests at the hotel for the inconvenience and carelessness of the valet staff, after spending hundreds of dollars to get to Atlanta and a couple more hundred to stay at a hotel where you expect for your car to be in good hands AT ALL HANDS (or AT LEAST in someone's hands instead of lost). They refused to comp the additional $32 and were very nonchalant and insensitive for the damage, both financially and emotionally, they caused us. One of the poorest qualities a hotel can offer is a negligent and rude staff on top of a disinterest in making a paying customer feel whole for an error the customer had no control over - especially when the specific service of valet parking is designed to be one of convenience. Thanks Omni Valet for ruining a very important weekend and following it up with the careless attitude! I'll be sure to pass the word along any chance I get :)!
I hosted a National Defenses counsel meeting for approximately 50 lawyers at Omni CNN Center. The accommodations were exceptional, and they even put me in the Coca-Cola Suite, which was phenomenal and had unbelievable views of the city. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who traveling to ATL:
Visited Comic-Con this year in Atlanta. Ate at the CNN Center. Had a great experience there.
Good hotel in general. The upper floors tend to get hot in the summer with the hot air from the middle open space in the building rising up.
Great location; staff was very helpful and responsive. Food was awesome and reasonably priced for what it was ($20-$40 plates). Rooms are spacious and provide balcony access, though the balcony being indoors is kind of off putting.
The staff were phenomenal. I enjoyed everything about my stay.
Will not stay at Omni Atlanta again. Wine was on the sheer in plain sight- about 6 ft off the ground. Light bulb was out in the lamp on the desk. Yes, they fixed both, while we were out for dinner. Beds were worse than cardboard boxes. No pillowtop mattress for us. I paid $89 for a Groupon deal for a one-night stay. Sounds good, right? Yeah, well, by the time we left, we had spent $141- $89 for the night, $32 mandatory Valet service for parking, $10 for the bellhop on the way up, $5 for the bellhop on the way down (because we packed our own car down), and $5 for the Valet driver when we left. Had I known all of the tips were required, and parking was so expensive, we would have continued driving the extra 5 hours to go home and saved the money. I suppose that people who are used to spending money will enjoy it, but not me.
Incredible, luxurious and comfortable from its facilities I can see CNN complete also that I have the privilege of entering directly
plenty of places within walking distance; the atmosphere was classy and nice.
Something I do wonder about though--do hotels usually supply a tall bottle of "complementary" water that costs x amount of dollars if you drink it??

Love it but some of the rooms had old furnituring which was not good considering the price of the hotel..
Overall hotel experience was decent. Got a greatly discounted roomrate, otherwise would have more reservations. Room was perfectly fine. Hotel parking pricing is ridiculous, use a nearby public garage for half the rate. Hotel pool is nice, outside, a bit small, but generally was uncrowded. Hotel gym is excellent; high quality, good variety of machines. Staff was pleasant, helpful, friendly. Location is, as a map would show, excellent. Right by the lovely Centennial Park, and your other major downtown Atlanta attractions, including the excellent Georgia Aquarium.
Very nice all around. Great location, very clean, nice fitness room. They also offered a package for discount tickets to the College Football HOF.
Fantastic hotel for company events, given the proximity to the convention centers. Cleanliness could be a smidgen better. Service is where points were lost, room service once arrived 45mins late after their 30min estimate. And some of the order ended up being incorrect...
They have the best scenery from the Omni sport bar. And it has a red floor, wow! Great wings and calamari.
I'm glad we stopped here during our trip to Atlanta.
Worst 4 star hotel.... I stayed at four seasons atlanta great but here they forced me after i didn't want help loading and un loading in room the door man stole from me basically right in my face i followed procedures do to the hotel not wanting to look back they swore he wouldn't do that and followed no procedures after he admitted i caught him in his pocket while loading my things but said it was his phone buy time police arrive he had more than enough time to remove it from of him police agreed they was wrong offered to arrest him an i didn't let him just wish they do better
Hotel is nice but WiFi is only free with a sign up to rewards program which is not eligible with 3rd party booking
Good location near Park. Room with balcony. Friendly staff. Would stay again.
2nd time here loved it again amazing views of city from north tower and views of inside cnn from south tower. Only complaint is that's it's long way out of room to outside
They double charged my room fee and the $50 holding fee and have not been able to resolve in over one month. They are also not returning any emails. Its not worth the hassle and the headaches.
Right at heart of downtown. All tourist attraction at walking distance
Loved the siting but the elevators would go up when you trying to go down. But overall I enjoyed the experience
Great stay. Helpful staff in both front desk and valet. A lot to do within walking distance.
Visiting the Building and also eating, there is plenty of good quality options for eat! And the experience is very nice!
The omni is amazing! Went for my honeymoon. I requested a room with a view. Got the 27th floor overlooking cenntial park. Hotel sent a card, complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries. The entire staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. Tons of fun, dining, neat stuff all within a few blocks from the hotel. Thanks for helping our honeymoon be everything we dreamed.
Great Location. Great Views of the city. This is the 2nd Omni I've been to in 2 cities. Those are NOT 4-Star rooms. Omni has a 5-Star lobby and great services but those Rooms are nowhere near four-star. Bad wallpaper job....parts of the sheetrock were poking through the wall. There was a hole in the ceiling. The furniture design was weird. It's just not 4-Star quality INSIDE the rooms
Crear hotel. Clean, confortable and amaziin ubication
I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I was there for one night and they were very accommodating, we had a peaceful night!!
Parking is awful. I don t mean it s bad. I mean it s painfully poor. Easily the worst parking I ve ever experienced. Valet service isn t worth a dime. They charge $40/per night for you to wait over an hr to park. Again, it s awful. Don t do it! Parking is awful!
I've never been here, bit it looks so cool from the inside of the CNN Center and the GWCC.
A fine conference hotel. A bit of a restaurant desert.
Was a good hotel to stay at, connect with marta train, really close to the hep attractions in the city.nice ambience and comfortable bed, long walk from check-in to the room
Actually visited State Farm Arena. It's next door to the Omni. Went to State Farm Arena to Vote. What an awesome experience.
Very good place in the heart of Atlanta. Really enjoy there.
I was at the Omni to do MomoCon 2017. It was a nice trip as always they have Professional Service and did an excellent job.
Stay here for Momocon every year. Other than the elevators being slammed on Saturday this is the place to stay. The staff is phenomenal and the rooms are so clean. Definitely worth the money to stay here. Plus it's connected to the CNN Center and to the convention center. Can't beat it!
Staff was nice, room was clean. Can here neighboring rooms pretty clearly through walls unfortunately
I had to go thru their lobby to get to the CNN food court. Keep in mind that only guest of this hotel have access to the food court 6am to 7am. BTW, you have to be staying at the hotel because they require a room key.
It was a nice place, great area & the hotel workers were very friendly but however the valet service was terrible & unorganized. We ordered the car and it took them 30 minutes to get it. The workers were goofing around & several guests were upset about how long it was taking.
& the night we were there there was some type of emergency that we didn't even know about until the loud speaker said that it was safe now. Very weird experience.
The hotel itself was decent, rooms were very nice. Bill got mixed up with someone else's because I was checked into the wrong room so I got the other person's bill. Person at the counter told me not to get mad or aggressive after literally the second sentence of my explanation. Then huffed and sighed and scowled the whole time she was trying to fix it. Couldn't seem to keep me and the other guest separate, explaining the overcharge was because I had three people in the room when I had two, the three person room was the other guest. Just frustrating and rude. The reason you pay 135 a night over 60 is the hospitality and the experience. This was a 60 dollar experience. Room service crew was very nice, but the last night I noticed mold on the wallpaper near the shower. Step it up guys or I'll stay at a holiday Inn.
This is the WORST hotel I ve EVER stayed at. The staff act so concerned about issues you are having then assure you that they re going to help you then give you the run around and they don t communicate with each other so you have to talk to multiple people who work there and they all say the same thing. They act concerned but really do nothing to help you. Literally the worst stay ever! Don t be fooled by them acting concerned because they re really not!
It is in a nice hotel but there is no free internet available.
It is very elegant. The staff was impeccable. I had a great time at an event held here
Rooms nice, hotel breakfast was terrific. The chefs were very friendly with my kids 4,12, & 14. They love omelettes like mom and dad. The buffett was a normal price for upscale hotels. BUT VALET WAS TOO HIGH AT A WHOPPING 45$$$$$ dollars. Who valet FOURTY FIVE DOLLARS. ARE THEY GONNA CLEAN &DeTAIL MY CAR TOO. $45 for valet. We got robbed. We arrived at 6 pm and we left the next day at 10 am. So not even for 24 hrs. We were charged 45. Wow chill guys. Pinch off the customer somewhere else. Not while driving the customers vehicles.
I had a great experience at CNN Omni, the professionalism of the staff far exceeded my expectations. My only complaint would be the lighting in the rooms need to be updated
